Tainted Twilight - March 24, 2014
Announcer: And now, the Blazenwing Wrestling Federation, in association with the Centre Bell in Montreal, Quebec, presents... TAINTED TWILIGHT 2014!!!
The camera cuts from the intro to the arena in Montreal, where a massive pyro show goes off on the stage. After it ends, the camera zooms around the ring, highlighting the many fans in attendance before finally settling on the BWF announce team of Nick Webb and Rayne.
Nick Webb: One of the most historic BWF pay-per-views has finally returned to the rotation! Welcome to Montreal, Canada... welcome to the 2014 edition of Tainted Twilight!
Rayne: Three Championships will be decided here tonight in one of the most controversial wrestling cities to ever exist, but perhaps none more important than the BWF World Championship match between Champion Casey Campbell and challenger Elizabeth Davis.
Nick Webb: I couldn't agree with you more, Rayne. Casey's looking to prove that his epic win over Matt Stone at Survival of the Sickest was not a fluke, while Liz is seeking career validation in her home country with what would undoubtedly be her biggest win ever. Only one of them can leave this great city as the BWF World Champion... but who will it be?
Rayne: We'll find that out, and much more, later tonight, but right now, let's take it to the ring for a match between two Montreal natives, a match that has been dubbed the Battle of Montreal! Scottie, take it away!
DING DING DING!!!
Scott Benjamin: Ladies and gentlemen, the following is the Battle of Montreal! This is your opening contest for Tainted Twilight 2014 and it is scheduled for ONE fall! Introducing first, he hails from Montreal, Quebec, Canada... weighing in tonight at 218 pounds... he is AXEL!!!
The crowd cheers for their homeboy, Axel, as he makes his way through the ring with his theme song "A Fractured Hand" by Despised Icon rocking out in the Centre Bell arena. The lights dim out until there's nothing but darkness hauling the place, out of nowhere a bright white light shining upon the black-haired enigma as he spreads his arms wide open with the trademark smirk drawn upon his mischievous face.
I Remember,
that brief moment when
Axel nods his head rhythmically as he looks side to side slowly at the crowd both booing him and cheering for him before taking a brief look above then fixing his eyes at the ring.
I shouted "End this day"
Mistakes and lessons since have gone my way
The filthy heavy metal band Despised Icon's song "A Fractured Hand" has hypnotized the crowd into a frenzy as the song blast out to the maximum volume with Axel suddenly sprinting from the entrance stage to the ramp and before slithering himself and slides under the lower rope of the ring. Axel turns towards the nearest turnbuckle and climbs up to pose with open arms to the fans inside the Centre Bell arena. The crowd is in utter confusion, weather to cheer for their homeboy or weather to boo the arrogant enigma. Axel brushes off his jet-black locks away from his face and puts down his Raybans shades before throws it away as he awaits his opponent.
The lights begin to slowly transcend back to normal as BWF's announcer Scott Benjamin clears his throat to announce Axel's opponent.
Scott Benjamin: And his opponent... he also hails from Montreal, Quebec, Canada... weighing in tonight at 178 pounds... he is the ultraviolent... CHRIS MAVERICK!!!

The crowd goes wild, Chris Maverick, their other homeboy marches towards the ramp with a concentrated look on his face. He slowly marches somewhat like a militant as the crowd act as a motivation for their ultraviolent superstar. Chris Maverick stops and looks around the Centre Bell arena before walking up the steel steps and into the ring.

Nick Webb: As advertised, both these superstars are from Montreal. It'll be interesting to see which one of them can pick up the win in their hometown!
The ultraviolent superstar, Chris Maverick, sits at the opposing turnbuckle inside the ring after throwing his leather jacket away. Chris Maverick is wearing a pitch-black sleeveless top with black matching pants and black boots aswell. The defying extremity, Axel, eyes back his fellow Canadian opponent as he reveals his black sleeveless top with 'Suck My Fuck' written over it with a white Bebas Neue font as anti-Christ crosses decorate it at the side.
DING!
Chris Maverick runs to charge onto Axel as he dives in for a spear and sits on him charging left and right blows onto Axel's face before the referee backs up the ultraviolent superstar.
Nick Webb: Jesus! Chris Maverick brings Axel down and lands punches on his face. I bet he's displeased with his debut match on Havok. I mean, having a loss is a bit harder to swallow.
Rayne: Both of these guys lost in their debuts. Axel almost didn't get hired because of it. He's certainly going to be looking to make up for lost time here tonight.
Axel pushes away Chris Maverick which sends the ultraviolent superstar away, giving time for the black-haired enigma to get on both his feet. Chris charges behind for the ring ropes to catapult himself to Axel but Axel ducks low and clothesline Chris Maverick behind him after getting rebounded from the rope opposing him yet the ultraviolent star stands up quickly sparing no time but Axel brings down Chris as he follow with another clothesline. Chris Maverick lies in the center of the ring as Axel pulls Chris from his legs into the center of the ring before plunging a hard blow onto Maverick's face as he scans his face after receiving a kinetic blow on his nose from the bottom of Axel's boot.
Nick Webb: Great reflexes from the promising newcomer!
Axel repetitively throws his knees onto Chris Maverick's forehead before locking the ultraviolent superstar into a half-crab submission move in which the referee edges closer to Chris to hear if he'll tap out from Axel's lock or not. The crowd roar, Will this be Maverick's fate in the match? Will he break from the lock and slam Axel for a win? Maverick smartly crawls himself and holds the rope yet Axel still clinging onto Chris Maverick's leg, the referee starts to count but Axel lets go at the count of three.
Rayne: Great awareness from Maverick, to cunningly get away from such painful submission maneuver by Axel. Great match so far!
Chris Maverick throws in a boxing combination onto Axel's abdomen before brining Axel down with a neck breaker as the crowd yells in excitement. Axel's lying in the ring while Chris Maverick climbs up the turnbuckle, the crowd yells even louder in excitement as Chris position himself to dive onto Axel.
Nick Webb: Maverick, of course no relation to BWF's famous Maverick Clan, looks to be going to the high risk district! Will it pay off?
Chris throws himself and dives but Axel rolls out of the ring and make everyone witness Chris Maverick splashing into the ring as he lies down agonizing in pain. Axel stands outside and take a breath before slithering from under the rope and stands and steadily waits at the opposing turnbuckle eyeing closely the ultraviolent Canadian. Axel swiftly charges to Chris to convert his signature move, the 666, into a winning combination tonight but Chris ducks away and replies to Axel with a DDT. Chris Maverick electrifies the Centre Bell arena as the crowd yell for an ending to this match. Chris pulls Axel's hair as he pulls him on his feel for his finisher, the Hook and Ladder and does it!
Chris Maverick holds Axel for a pin.

Nick Webb: He's gonna win!
No! Axel breaks away from the pin at the count of two with Chris Maverick having a talk to the referee and accusing the referee of counting slowly but Maverick gets his head back to the game, knowing that it's useless to argue with an official.
Rayne: Almost a definite win for Chris, the Ultraviolent Canadian superstar! Great display.
As shocked as he is, Axel quickly stands up and both Canadian newly signed wrestlers grapple each other in the centre of the ring, exchanging various blows at each other and giving it all they have in front of the eyes of the ticket holders here in the Centre Bell arena situated in Montreal. Punches, kicks, headbutts, elbows, knee blows exchanged as Axel takes the advantage of their square-off. Axel drags powerfully Chris Maverick as the ultraviolent superstar's back slams onto the turnbuckle before Axel rushing for a spear with a dropkick to follow yet Chris Maverick dives from as Chris pulls off a clothesline yet Axel dodges and pushes him with a European uppercut following a dash towards the rope for a his finisher, Rage, which is a bulldog out of the blue.
Nick Webb: That's gotta be it!
Chris is out and motionless as Axel shoots the half and the ref drops to count.

Scott Benjamin: Ladies and gentlemen, here is your winner... AXEL!!!
The match is over, Axel wins! He fist pumps the air and goes to the turnbuckle with his arms wide open as the fans cheer his name, then explodes into cheers as their Montreal-born homeboy edges over the Ultraviolet superstar.
Nick Webb: Congratulations to Axel and well-played Chris. Excellently evened match but Axel edges out a win. Bravo! Any thoughts, Rayne?
Rayne: Impressive match by both men, but Axel was better tonight. Don't count out this Chris Maverick kid, though. When he finds his groove, he's gonna come back hard.

Scott Benjamin: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for ONE fall! Introducing first, she hails from Richmond, Virginia... weighing in at 112 pounds... she is KRISTY JACKSON!!!
"Headstrong" By Trapt begins to play over the BlazenTron and the lights dim slightly. As the first verse kicks into gear, Kristy Jackson steps out from the curtain and onto the stage. She stops at the end, right before the ramp, and crouches down, slapping the metal before standing back up and making her way down the ramp to the ring. Once she gets there, she rolls underneath the bottom rope and stands up in the ring, before stepping over to her corner.
Scott Benjamin: And her opponent, she hails from San Francisco, California... weighing in at 165 pounds... she is AKEMI HAYASHI!!!
ubbles and strobelights! This may describe a high school dance, but it also describes the entrance of Akemi Hayashi, who happens to appear on the stage, popping bubbles in style with her cane. An awkward jig and she suddenly rips down the ramp and nearly collides with the ring if it weren't for a well-placed almost wire-fu like hop over the ropes. Well, it was wire-fu, she is seen taking the harness off. Akemi points her cane up and fires Pez into the air before resting it outside the ring.
DING!
The referee rings the bell and we're underway. Kristy locks up Hayashi in the corner, punching her in the stomach ten times while the crowd counts with Kristy as she punches. 1... 2... 3... 4... 5... 6... 7... 8... 9... 10! Kristy goes for an eleventh, but the ref finally pushes her off, threatening a disqualification. Akemi uses the opening to kick Kristy in the gut when the referee steps aside, then, as Kristy doubles over, Akemi runs to the ropes before coming back with a running heel kick onto Kristy. She quickly covers.

Kickout! Kristy quickly gets her shoulder up.
Nick Webb: Early cover by Akemi, but Kristy is far from done.
Akemi stands up and goes to lift Kristy, but Kristy pulls her down into a jawbreaker. The young blonde pops to her feet and stomps down on Akemi a few times before dragging her to the center of the ring. She runs the ropes and comes back with a Lionsault off the middle rope into a cover of her own!

This time, Akemi is the one who gets her shoulder up right away.
Rayne: Akemi's been a former Champion in other organizations. She's not about to go down without a fight.
Kristy stands up and lifts Akemi up, then whips her into the corner. She charges in and spears Akemi hard in the corner, then as Akemi stumbles out, Kristy leaps onto the nearest rope and comes back with a flying knee right to the side of Akemi's head! Akemi goes down hard as Kristy pulls herself onto the top rope and signals for the end!
Nick Webb: I think we're about to see a Suicide Attack here!
Kristy leaps off with the Suicide Attack (Swanton Bomb), but at the last second, Akemi rolls out of the way! Kristy lands hard back first in the ring and yells in pain as Akemi pulls herself to her feet using the ropes. As Kristy slowly rises to a knee, Akemi leaps up and catches her with the Grapey Marshmallow Fizz (Shining Axe Kick)! The crowd pops as Akemi goes for the cover!

3-NO! At the last possible second, Kristy kicks out!
Rayne: Hayashi is beside herself! She can't believe Kristy kicked out!
Akemi checks twice with the ref, just to make sure it wasn't really a three and he just miscounted, but she finally turns her attention back to Kristy, who catches her in the forehead with a sharp kick! Kristy shakes off the grogginess, then rolls to her feet before jumping up and hurricanrana'ing Akemi onto the middle rope! Without wasting any time, Kristy runs to the other side and comes back, sliding between the ropes and swinging around to hit the Bloodline (619)! Akemi bounces hard back into the middle of the ring and Kristy pulls down the top rope to use the momentum to launch herself over them, flipping in mid-air and dropping down on Akemi with a modified Suicide Attack (Swanton Bomb)! Kristy hooks the legs as she lands and the ref drops to count!

Scott Benjamin: Ladies and gentlemen, here is your winner... KRISTY JACKSON!!!
"Headstrong" By Trapt begins to play over the BlazenTron as Kristy rolls to her feet, still gripping at her side, and smiles as she plays to the crowd.
Nick Webb: A mistake out there nearly cost her the win, but Kristy Jackson remains undefeated tonight with a big win over the woman formerly known as Dagger!
Rayne: You mentioned a mistake, and I think that's exactly what did Akemi in. She lost her focus after Kristy kicked out of the axe kick, and if that doesn't happen, I think this match ends another way.
Nick Webb: Unfortunately, Akemi's streak of bad luck continues. Hopefully soon, she'll be able to turn that around and start tearing BWF up!
The C.E.O.'s Announcement
The camera moves backstage to the office of BWF C.E.O. Emily Corlen, where she is in the middle of lacing her boots in preparation for her match later this evening against Canada's own Matt Stone. The crowd, somewhat surprisingly, boos loudly as Emily looks up at the screen and smiles. (One has to assume she can't hear the arena's sound, otherwise she wouldn't be smiling.)
Emily Corlen: Good evening, Montreal! Earlier this week on Twitter, BWF broke news of an official announcement to be made at Tainted Twilight. Now, normally, this is the kind of thing I'd head to the ring to announce, but as you can see, I'm currently preparing for my big return to the ring later tonight against... (scowls) Matt Stone.
A loud pop at the mention of Stone's name.
Emily Corlen: Regardless, I'll keep this quick so you can all get back to the action. Starting next Monday night on FXX, Monday Night Havok will be returning to a weekly live event. No more waiting two weeks at a time to see your favorite BWF Superstars perform!
This gets a cheer from the crowd, as one would expect.
Emily Corlen: Pay-per-views will also begin occurring more frequently, with a major event every sixth week, live from your favorite cities. Ticket information and new tour dates will be released on the BWF website following tonight's event, so make sure you get your seats when BWF heads to your neck of the woods, because they're gonna go fast. Believe it.
Emily winks to the camera, which makes the Montreal crowd boo again.
Emily Corlen: Now, enjoy the rest of tonight's event. I'll see you all later tonight. I'll be the one beating Matt Stone into maple flavored jelly.
Massive heat for the last remark as Emily resumes lacing up her ring boot and the camera shifts back to ringside.

Nick Webb: Coming up next, we have AJ Adams taking on James Carson. Now AJ has already declared that he will be entering the Happenstance tournament, but a win here tonight by James Carson could cement him as another entrant in the prestigious tournament coming up.
Rayne: Adams hasn’t had a match in BWF since he lost to Elizabeth Davis on Havok. Do you really think he can still come out here and win?
Nick Webb: I learned a long time ago not to count out AJ Adams. He’s always prepared.

Scott Benjamin: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for ONE fall! Introducing first, he hails from New Orleans, Louisiana... weighing in at 280 pounds... he is JAMES CARSON!!!
The lights in the arena cut off. You hear James Carson's voice say "The end is near" and "Where is Your God Now" by Jimi Raymond begins playing on the BlazenTron. James Carson walks out onto the ramp and you can see a cross that is attached to a necklace on his neck that is glowing. When he gets about halfway, he takes off the necklace, kisses it and sets it on the ground. Carson then continues to make his way to the ring and through the ropes.
Rayne: James looks like he’s ready here tonight!
Nick Webb: He certainly does, but so does this man!
Rayne: You haven’t even seen him yet!
Scott Benjamin: And his opponent, he hails from Los Angeles, California... weighing in tonight at 176 pounds... he is AJ ADAMS!!!
There’s a quiet throughout the arena but that changes as “Lights Out” by P.O.D. cues up throughout the arena and the Houston fans rise to their feet and cheer for one of the biggest pops of the night. The lights flash blue as spotlights flash around the arena. AJ Adams comes out onto the stage to the cheers and looks around the stage and the crowd, taking it all in.

It's Lights Out, Game Over
At “lights out”, AJ Adams pumps his arms and screams it with the song as a big pop of pyro goes off. He hops and as he throws his arms out and takes in the fans on the ramp. He high fives a few of them and finally makes it to the ring. He jumps to the apron and climbs to the middle turnbuckle and takes off his shirt before tossing it into the crowd. He jumps into the ring and shakes his head a few times and uses the top rope to stretch his arms and legs.
Nick Webb: Are you going to question him now?
Rayne: I wasn’t... oh nevermind!
DING!
AJ stares at James, who stares back at AJ both with equal distaste on their features. Collar and elbow tie up in the center of the ring, James whips AJ into the ropes. AJ rebounds and James goes for a back body, AJ flips over James to land on his feet. AJ hits the ropes, voluntarily, to come back at James and Carson drops down to the canvas to avoid the clothesline attempt. AJ rebounds and James lifts him up into a gorilla press before slamming him down to the canvas front first. James quickly picks up Adams before shoving him back first into the corner with tremendous force. James charges in with a body splash, but AJ quickly retorts lifting himself up in the corner, both his boots connecting to James’s gut as he leaps. Carson staggers back on his feet, holding his gut. AJ goes for a swinging neck breaker! No, James breaks it with a back elbow once they are both back to back.
Nick Webb: Carson showing he can counter when the time comes. He may be crazy, but the man knows how to wrestle.
James takes advantage and grabs Adams, attempting to Irish whip him across the ring. This, too, doesn’t work as AJ switches momentum and sends in James instead. James comes back and finds himself leaped over with a simple leap frog maneuver. James keeps going and makes a rebound, AJ runs to the parallel ropes and returns to what looks like is about to become one hell of a train wreck. AJ smirks as he jumps looking to come back down with a dropkick to the knee! James who was well aware of what’s going on lifts his foot up and watches as AJ simply hits canvas. James mounts AJ with a Lou Thesz press before AJ is able to roll him over with a Lou Thesz press of his own. And both men are simply brawling it out on the mat like a school yard brawl. James gets himself to his feet, but AJ takes him down with a Dragon screw leg whip and James is back on the canvas hard. AJ drops a well-placed elbow on James's knee, aiming for a body part early in this matchup. AJ brings James back to his feet, whipping him into the corner where he delivers a series of chops to the less experienced opponent.
Rayne: WOOOOO!
AJ steps back and charges Carson at full speed and crashes into him. Adams roars and the crowd eats it up as he gets excited. Carson comes staggering out of the corner slowly as Adams hits the ropes and hits a running knee (ala Daniel Bryan).
Nick Webb: Quick thinking there from Adams!
Rayne: Can’t argue that he knows he has to use his speed.
With Carson down, AJ goes for a leg drop, but James manages to roll out of the way just in time to avoid the blow. AJ gets up holding at his leg when James wraps his head in a side headlock, James with a side headlock takedown to the canvas and James locks the headlock in tighter putting as much pressure as possible on AJ's neck. Adams grunts from the applied pressure and begins to shove himself towards the ropes, but James rears back on the neck and AJ is forced to stop. momentarily to catch his breath. AJ reaches the ropes and is immediately released from the side headlock, James drops an elbow onto the neck and pulls AJ back from the ropes to hook a leg and make a cover.
Rayne: First cover of the match!

Kickout! AJ kicks out easily before the count of three.
Nick Webb: I'm afraid that James just wasted an opportunity there.
Rayne: When you get AJ Adams down, you had better keep him down.
Nick Webb: Well I agree with you there.
James pulls Adams up to his feet and shoves him into the corner, James with a charging forearm, but AJ with a swift knee takes him back a few steps. Looking to take advantage the smaller man leaps to the second rope and leaps double kneeing his opponent in the face and down to the mat. AJ smirks as he pulls James back up to his feet and delivers a stinging slap to the face of the southerner. James cringes and looks back angry and with a jerk hits with a surprise belly to belly suplex! The move catches AJ unaware and sends him sliding across the ring. AJ back up, out of instinct, and charging at James who takes him down to the canvas with a lariat. James backs up into a corner and looks to be setting up for The Awakening, he looks to the crowd and spits on the mat in disgust before getting in the stance. AJ gets up, shaking his head and rolling his neck. He turns and James charges in for the kill, AJ grabs the big man by the head and uses his own momentum to deliver a skull crushing DDT, James falls limply onto the mat.
Nick Webb: Beautiful counter there by AJ Adams!
Rayne: I don’t like it, but it looks like James may have wasted a little too much time there.
The delay had given AJ the warning he needed to spike James harshly on his neck, But AJ doesn't make a cover just yet, he pulls the big man up to his feet, lifting him up and planting him across his knee with an inverted atomic drop. AJ wipes the sweat from his brow because James is nearly a hundred pounds heavier than himself. James falls back to the mat on his back and AJ rolls James out of the ring before following after him. Seth Williams immediately begins to count his mandatory count. AJ dives from the apron with an elbow drop to James's neck and laughs as he pulls the big man up to a kneeling position. AJ plants James's face with a series of closed fists that rock him and AJ pulls him up to a vertical base. AJ slams James backwards into the announcers' table before slamming his face into the flimsy table.
Rayne: What is this? This is our table!
Nick Webb: AJ Adams showing that he isn’t all flash and technique, he can brawl with the rest of them!
Rayne: He’s crazy!
The referee's count is up to four as AJ plants James's face on the BWF logo with a head slam into the table. Adams whips James back first into the ring post and follows with a forearm that sends the back of James's skull against the hard metal. James appears to be on dream street and stumbles away from the post as AJ delivers a drop toe hold sending James's face back into the announce table. The referee is up to eight as AJ rolls the big man into the ring, thus breaking the count. James moves back up to his feet, in utter daze. He doesn’t know where he is until AJ with a head scissors take over sends James back down to the canvas.
Nick Webb: James clearly hasn't recovered from that vicious DDT yet.
AJ with an arm wrench as he begins to work on another body part here in the match; he has worked on the neck, skull, and is now working on the arm. James powers up from the mat to try and fight back as the crowd is beginning to grow louder and louder with "A-J" chants. AJ sweeps the legs out from under James and he quickly applies an Indian death lock submission hold onto James in the center of the ring, James can see the ropes, but can he make it to them and the safety they promise? James grunts either from the pain or the effort of crawling, but he grunts as he struggles forward towards the ropes. He reaches out and touches the bottom rope, but AJ quickly yanks him away and to the opposite side of the ring; James's hand falls in defeat or exhaustion. He looks back at the rope and begins to power up to his forearms and crawls again, this time is noticeably slower and more determined.
Nick Webb: AJ has that submission locked on perfectly.
Rayne: But that dumb hick is too stupid to give up, he’ll get to the ropes Nick!
James shoves his legs backwards and AJ is sent rolling forward, the submission broken, at least momentarily. James pulls himself up and as AJ is getting back up, he delivers a punt to the side of Adams's temple that sends him toppling to the mat. James walks over to where AJ is lying on the mat and begins to pull him up to a vertical base once again, AJ with a forearm smash sends James stumbling backwards away from the offensive move. AJ leaps up from his kneeling position to tackle James down to the mat before getting back up and just as James rolls over, AJ hits a knee drop to the back of his neck. AJ with a fist drop and another knee drop to the neck of James and Carson is in a bad way here in the match. James gets to the ropes and pulls himself up to a shaky kneeling position but here comes AJ, grabbing James’ arm and pulls him in and up on his shoulders. The crowd seem impressed as they cheer, watching Adams drop James in front of him and shoot his knee up for a G.T.S.! Adams hooks the leg and goes for the cover.
Nick Webb: This could be it Rayne!

Nick Webb: AJ can't believe James kicked out.
Rayne: James Carson is nothing but a bad ass Nick, I keep telling you.
AJ sends James into the ropes, but Carson reverses and AJ is sent running. James catches AJ, lifting him into the air, and dropping him with a big desperation spinebuster, both lay on the mat. Both AJ and James crawl for the ropes, each intending to be the first one to his feet and have the advantage; they reach the ropes and pull themselves up. AJ comes over with a jumping high kick that sends James out to the floor and onto his back. AJ looks down, over the top rope, but James pulls his legs out from under him before rolling back into the ring. AJ scrambles to get back up to his feet and manages to win the race to his feet just seconds before James gets to his own. AJ with vicious forearms backs James into the corner and delivers a chop that causes the big man to wince from the pain of the chop.
Nick Webb: James really hasn't gotten in an offensive series since earlier in the match.
Rayne: Here and there a move, but clearly AJ is dominating the match.
AJ whips James across the ring into the other corner, but James reverses and AJ slams front first into the corner. He bounces back out of the corner and James with a bulldog tackles him down to the mat, but James unable to capitalize as the crowd goes absolutely wild for a big move from James, wanting to get Adams back up. James makes a cover, but only gets a count of two before AJ is able to raise up a shoulder and prevent James from winning this crucial Pay-Per-View match. AJ rolls away as James gets up to his feet, AJ up, James with a forearm smash that backs AJ into the ropes. James with an arm wrench that torques AJ's left shoulder and James with a few toe kicks to the right side of AJ's ribs. James goes for an Irish whip, but AJ counters, James re-counters and delivers a knee into Adams’ guy, the big man grabs Adams’ head and drives AJ with The Sacrifice (Inverted DDT)! James hooks Adams leg!
Rayne: Here it is Nick, I told you!

No! Adams rolls a shoulder up to stop the count.
Nick Webb: A close call there for James Carson, I’ll give you that.
Rayne: If his skull wasn't so thick, AJ would have lost this match right there.
Carson gets on his knees, rolling his eyes back in his head, the camera picking up just how creepy this guy is. James grabs Adams’ head and lifts him up to a vertical base, but he takes a reverse crescent kick for his troubles, dazing him long enough for Adams to grab his head and drive his knee into James’ face, falling backwards in the process with his Last Call (Codebreaker)! The crowd pops as Adams kneels down for a pin but decides to pull Carson back to his feet and holds onto him.
Nick Webb: I think Adams is ready to make a legacy!
Adams looks out to the crowd and smirks before connecting with the Legacy Maker (Sister Abigail) and rolls into the cover.

"Lights Out" by P.O.D. plays off the BlazenTron and Adams walks over to the nearby corner, climbing up and raising his arms in celebration.
Nick Webb: We could be looking at the next Happenstance Monarch right there Rayne!
Rayne: Happenstance is still a ways away Nick, but I’ll admit, he looked good tonight.
Nick Webb: Yes, no doubts about AJ Adams’ future here, he is back in a big way!

Scott Benjamin: Ladies and gentlemen, the following tag team contest is scheduled for ONE fall... and it is for the BWF Tag Team Championships! Introducing first, weighing in at a combined 450 pounds... Allen Chaney and Spyke Gein... they are THE REJECTS!!!
The opening of "Light Grenades" by Incubus begins and out step Allen Chaney and Spyke Gein. Allen turns to Spyke and smacks him across the face. Spyke smacks Allen across the face. They both smile insanely and run down to the ring. Allen slides under the bottom rope and Spyke hops to the apron and flips over the top rope into the ring.
Scott Benjamin: And introducing their opponents, they are the current and reigning BWF Tag Team Champions... weighing in at a combined 373 pounds... they are ZOE COOPER AND AUSTIN SCOTT!!!
"Happy" by Pharrell Williams starts playing in the arena and the fans rise to their feet cheering as Zoe Cooper and Austin Scott walk onto the stage and point out at the fans.

Zoe and Austin, titles in hand, walk down the ramp, taking a pause to high five a few kids sitting along the ramp in the crowd. They reach the ring and walk around it once, high fiving more kids as they go.

After Zoe and Austin finish their trip around the ring, they walk up the steps and climb the two nearest corners, pointing out to the fans again and smiling as they hold their Tag Team Titles up. They climb over the top rope and jump down into the ring, then lean against their corner as they discuss match strategy.

The song starts to fade as Zoe and Austin walk out to the middle of the ring and point at the crowd with both hands. Zoe winks and grins happily while Austin pounds his chest before they both return to their corner and wait.

Zoe Cooper and Austin Scott subconsciously show the fans how strong their chemistry with each other is as they play a silly game of rock-paper-scissors to determine who will start the match off.

Both Zoe and Austin pick paper, but then suddenly, Allen Chaney slams Austin from the back of his head with a jab and powerfully throws him into The Rejects' corner of the ring as Austin flails on the ground in agonizing pain. Zoe gets behind the ropes on the opposite side of the ring, with her hands clasped onto the top of her head in utter shock to see them both commit a goofy mistake in a match with such high stakes.
Nick Webb: The Rejects wasting no time in the match as they attack the fan favorite Austin Scott. Great maneuver by Allen Chaney.
Rayne: Big mistake from the Tag Team Champs here. Let's hope for their sake, it doesn't come back to bite them in the ass.
Allen tags in the Japanese-resident Martial Arts extravaganza, Spyke Gein, as the highflying daredevil delivers a combination of hefty leg blows to the back of Austin, who is on his knees. Spyke then pulls Austin up by his long hair and dropkicks him back onto the mat. Spyke brushes his fluorescent green locks back with his fingers as he catapults his body from the ropes and dives onto Austin; yet, the Sheriff takes the situation to his advantage by throwing multiple right hands in the face of his opponent before throwing him into the metal pole behind the turnbuckle. Spyke seems hurt as he massages his shoulder slowly whilst lying on the ring.
Nick Webb: Those who know about Spyke's history will know why him showing any signs of pain is a huge deal. That must have HURT.
Austin tries to pin Spyke at the early stages of the match to wiggle a win in the Centre Bell arena.

Kickout! Spyke struggles to crawl with his arms to tag in his partner, Allen, but Austin pulls Spyke away and into the Tag Team Champions' corner. Austin tags Zoe and the crowd begins to cheer for her as Spyke lies with his neck leaning on the lower level of the turnbuckle and the longest reigning Sovereign Champion in history lays out Spyke with multiple kicks to the face. She eventually stops as the referee counts to four and threatens a DQ.
Nick Webb: Zoe landing direct kicks to the face of Spyke.
Zoe pushes him a bit away from their corner for a pin, but she barely keeps him contained for more than a second as he breaks away. Spyke slowly stands up and delivers a deadly leg blow to the side of Zoe's knees as she gets to one knee. Spyke then spares no time as he springs himself from the ropes for his knee to have direct powerful contact to the back of Zoe's skull as she falls down face first.
Nick Webb: Dangerous move from Spyke!
Rayne: That could be it! Zoe's undefeated streak is over!
Spyke goes for a cover on Zoe, the referee slams the ring mat with his palms.

No! Zoe breaks away from the pin as she desperately extends her hand as far as she can to tag in Austin, but she barely makes it as Spyke throws in repetitive kicks to her waist from both sides before soaring up to smash his knee deep into her chest as Zoe plunges down onto the ring mat. The crowd begins to enrage, cheering madly in an attempt to rouse Zoe into tagging in Austin.
Nick Webb: Cooper needs a tag here and fast!
Spyke drags Zoe into his team's corner and makes a tag with Allen as he climbs up the turnbuckle and splashes onto her. He quickly pins her.

3-NO! Zoe's foot is on the bottom rope and the fans cheer loudly! Allen swears audibly as he looks over at Spyke and the two seem to have some sort of understanding. The crowd boos as he lifts her up and pulls his elbows up high to signal a Bionic Elbow, but out of nowhere, Austin spears Allen down, then dives into Spyke, knocking him off the apron! Spyke lands on his feet and turns to see Austin flying out of the ring, but he moves, leaving Austin to crash into the mat on the outside!
Rayne: Swing and a miss!
Nick Webb: This could be the opening The Rejects need! We might be moments away from new Tag Team Champions!
Both Zoe and Allen slowly reach their feet in the middle of the ring as Spyke begins shuffling under the ring apron for something. He comes up a moment later with two Singapore canes and the crowd boos loudly.
Nick Webb: What is Spyke doing? This is not a No Disqualification Match!
Without giving it a second thought, Spyke lobs one into the ring, right into the hands of his tag team partner. Zoe shakes her head loose and turns around, only to be met with a swift CRACK of a cane between the eyes from Allen!
DING DING DING!!!
Spyke starts beating on Austin outside the ring with his own cane as Allen starts tearing into Zoe in the ring. The crowd starts booing louder and louder as the beatdown continues.
Rayne: That's how you make a mark!
Nick Webb: But it's NOT how you win titles! They just got themselves DQ'ed when it looked like they were moments away from winning the belts! I don't understand!
Rayne: Maybe this wasn't ever about the belts. Maybe this was just about sending a message.
Several referees storm the ring to break up the beatdown, but Allen and Spyke scare them off. Both Zoe and Austin are busted open as Spyke throws Austin into the steps, then grabs a chair and rolls into the ring. He and Allen wrap the chair around Zoe's neck and the crowd goes nuclear.
Nick Webb: No, dammit! Don't do this!
Allen starts heading up to the top, no doubt planning on hitting Zoe's neck with the WTFFFF! [Watch that Funny Fat Fuck Fly!] (Moonsault) while Spyke holds her legs down. Before Allen can jump off, though, Johnny Maverick appears on the stage and runs down to the ring, sliding inside. He yells at Allen to stop, then proceeds to talk to Spyke and Allen after Allen hops down off the top rope. It's not clear what he says, but whatever Johnny does say, it gets Allen and Spyke to back down, at least tonight. Johnny leads the two men out of the ring and up the ramp together as the refs return to ringside and check on Austin and Zoe. Austin gets up first and quickly rolls into the ring to check on Zoe, who still hasn't moved, and unwrap the chair from around her neck. As Zoe starts to come to, Scott steps forward and finally makes the official match announcement.
Scott Benjamin: Ladies and gentlemen, the winners of this match as a result of a disqualification... and STILL your BWF Tag Team Champions... ZOE COOPER AND AUSTIN SCOTT!!!
"Happy" by Pharrell Williams starts playing, but no celebrating is going on, although the fans do cheer when Austin and the referees help Zoe up to her feet and she is able to walk of her own accord.
Nick Webb: That was a truly scary moment for our Sovereign and Tag Team Champion. A promising young career, nearly cut short, and for what? To make a statement? Disgusting.
Rayne: I've seen guys do a lot worse for a lot less. This is just the business we're in.
Nick Webb: I hope that whatever J-Mav told them, it stops them from doing anything else like this in the future!
A Canadian Comeback
After an ad for the BWF ShopZone, we go back to ringside, where Scott Benjamin stands in the center of the ring, holding his microphone up, a somewhat big smile on his face, he begins to speak. The crowd simmers down a little to a dull quiet.
Scott Benjamin: Ladies and gentlemen, returning for the first time since 2011... please welcome, former Tag Team, United States and International Champion... Mr. Canadian... ALEX WILKIE!!!
The crowd goes nuts as “Spirit of the Radio” by Rush hits the BlazenTron, a rather shaggy and bearded Alex Wilkie makes his way out to the ring, wearing a nice business suit, he slaps the hands of some fans and makes his way up the steel steps, slipping through the middle rope, he shakes hands with Scott Benjamin and takes his microphone from him.
Alex Wilkie: Thank you Scott, and Thank you! Montreal!
The crowd gives a huge pop for the returning star.
Alex Wilkie: I figured, since I was in town on some business, I would stop by and see how my old stomping grounds were doing... and I have to say, the more things change! The more things stay the same! The same being no matter how long I'm gone for, I'm always welcomed back with warm arms by you BWF Fans! It's fantastic, it warms my heart!
He chuckles lightly and he paces around the ring a little.
Alex Wilkie: One the main reasons I'm back tonight though... my ears were burning just a little this past week... hearing an ol' buddy of mine is gonna be defending his World Title Tonight... Casey Campbell man, I remember when we first feuded, joined forces, and won our first piece of gold together... that was the best night of my life, and I tell ya what, man, no matter our differences, or the fact that we couldn't even come up with a theme song for our team... you were still my partner, we brought Can-Am Connection to the front of the tag team world, and even though things fell apart... Hey Man... I forgive you!
Wilkie nods a little, his bottom lip quivering, a finger comes up to wipe a slight tear away from his cheek.
Alex Wilkie: And hey... you know the second reason I'm here tonight... I've been watching this new up and comer lately... he seems to be tearing things up, and I wanted the best seat in the house to watch his match... Rayne, Nick, how about it, for old time's sake? Can I join you two on commentary tonight?
Wilkie looks over to the commentary table, Rayne and Nick Webb have a quick conversation amongst themselves with their headsets off. Rayne then stands up with a microphone.
Rayne: Ahhh what the hell! COME ON OVER HERE YA CHUBBY BASTARD!
With a big goofy grin on his face, Wilkie rolls out of the ring and joins Rayne and Nick Webb in a big embrace, though Nick Webb looked to be less interested in the hug than Rayne. All three take their seats now as the next match gets underway.

Scott Benjamin: Ladies and gentlemen, the following match is scheduled for ONE Fall... and it is for the BWF International Championship! Introducing first, the challenger... he hails from Hershey, Pennsylvania... weighing in at 388 pounds... he is a BWF Hall of Famer... he is TOCO!!!
The lights in the arena change to a golden hue as "The Red" by Chevelle hits the BlazenTron. As the crowd reaches their feet, the man known as Toco walks out onto the stage to a huge pop. He poses for the crowd, and then walks down the ramp, slapping hands with the fans as he goes. He rolls into the ring, then walks to the ropes and throws his fist into the air, causing all four turnbuckles to explode with pyro as his music fades.
Scott Benjamin: And his opponent...
For a moment, there is silence... the crowd is wondering where Toco's opponent could be... then the track from Tron Legacy, "The Game has Changed", begins to play, slowly it begins to rise in volume, the BWF Fans begin to murmur, their own voices growing louder with the music, then as the song reaches crescendo, a fan cries out as down from the rafters, held on by two wires, Scorpio, clad completely in white, boots, trunks, jacket, even sun glasses, with white lights flashing all around him, begins to slowly descend from the ceiling, the song begins to grow bolder and louder, Scorpio continues his descent, beneath him, a White '74 Trans-Am roars to life as it comes to a halt right under him. The song comes to a crashing end as Scorpio's feet touch the hood of the Trans-Am. Two stage-hands quickly unhook him as he kneels down, on the hood of the car lays his International Title. He picks it up and hoists his over his shoulder. Looking down to the ring, he spies Toco and smirks slightly.
Scott Benjamin: ...he is your current and reigning BWF International Champion... he hails from Mission Hills, California... weighing in at 220 pounds... he is SCORPIO!!!
Scorpio points to the ring as “Dreamwave” Kicks into high gear over the BlazenTron, the White '74 Trans-Am roars to life once again as it rolls down the ramp towards the ring, Scorpio standing side-ways, his title and his gaze pointed at Toco, a sly smirk on his face, an aura of cocky arrogance. The Trans-am comes to stop just at the apron and Scorpio takes a step from the hood and into the ring. With a slight hesitation, Scorpio hands the title to Jenni Flynt the referee for this match and pulls off his coat and sunglasses, throwing them to a lucky fan in at ring side. The Ref holds the title up for all to see, then hands it off to Scott Benjamin at ringside, then calls for the bell!
DING!
The match kicks off as both men charge at each other and lock-up in the ring, Toco uses his advantage in weight and pushes Scorpio to the ground. Scorpio tumbles back and quickly regains his composure, he shouts something intangible Toco, then they both lock up in the middle of the ring again, Toco now begins to push Scorpio back into a corner. Scorpio quickly finds himself on the defensive as he tries to throw 'bows at Toco's shoulders, trying to get back on the offensive, with no Akemi to save him this time, Toco doesn't waste the momentum and begins to jackhammer his shoulder into Scorpio's Gut.
Nick Webb: Toco wasting no time here tonight in exerting himself over the new International Champion.
Scorpio lets out some form of sound that can only be attributed to intestinal pain, as Toco takes a step back, Poses for the crowd, and spears Scorpio once again, nearly folding him in half against the Turnbuckle. Scorpio falls forward and Toco flips him over for a loose pin, Jenni Flynt is a little late to the count and Scorpio gets his shoulder up at two, Toco looks to Jenni and slaps his hands down three times, signaling for her to be faster. While he's distracted though, Scorpio roles Toco up in a schoolboy pin, grabbing a handful of tights, Jenni goes down for the count.

No! Toco kicks out at two, Scorpio rolls out of the way and gets back up to his feet.
Alex Wilkie: The newbie nearly got a win with that roll-up! Look alive, Toco!
Toco gets back up and the two of them go for another Lock-up in the center of the ring, though this time Scorpio gains the upper-hand and pulls Toco into a side headlock, wrenching in his face. Toco tries to squirm out of it, but Scorpio moves too quickly, and with a slight twist, he spins around and drops Toco with a straight DDT! Scorpio tumbles backwards out of the DDT and stumbles back into the ropes, bouncing off and coming right back at Toco with a high leg-drop! Scorpio slips over into the pin, hooking Toco's legs!

Nick Webb: Scorpio can't seem to keep Toco down here. The big man really wants the win tonight.
Scorpio shakes his head and goes for the turnbuckle, in a show of arrogance, he turns his back to Toco and poses to the fans at the top of the turnbuckle, and without even looking back Scorpio leaps off the turnbuckle, pulling off a near-perfect moonsault, but at the last second Toco rolls out of the way and Scorpio hits the bare-mat, he lets out a gut-wrench yelp as he flips onto his back, holding his stomach, He tries to get to his feet quickly to meet Toco, but as soon as he stood up, Toco boot meets Scorpios already hurt stomach, Scorpio keels over again and Toco grabs him by the neck for the To-Cutter (Diamond Cutter)! But Scorpio pushes Toco away and rolls out of the ring to save himself!
Alex Wilkie: Veteran instincts! Scorpio avoiding the To-Cutter like a BAWS!
Scorpio quickly regains his composure while outside, he takes in a few deep breaths and turns to get back into the ring, but just as he's about to pull himself onto the apron, he looks up and spots a mid-flight Toco! 388 pounds come crashing down on Scorpio in a sick Frog Splash! Jenni Flynt is forced to restart her count as Toco exits the ring. She gets to fourth when Toco picks himself up and rolls under the bottom rope, only to roll back out again to restart the count. He grabs Scorpio by the back of his neck and spins him around only to chuck him into the barricade! Scorpios voice is picked up by the camera man's microphone 'why is it always the barricade.' Toco poses for the crowd again to a huge pop and picks Scorpio up once again, tossing him under the rope and then rolling back himself, just as Jenni Flynt hit the 8 count.
Nick Webb: Good eyes there, you can't win the title by count out, Toco!
Scorpio crawls over to one of the turnbuckles to pick himself up, but he only sets himself up for his Jaw to come in contact with Toco's hard boot! Now Toco is back on the offensive, driving kick after kick home into Scorpios chest, one would say he was stomping a mudhole and walking it dry. He pulls back, poses for the crowd, and then rushes back at Scorpio for one final kick. Scorpio, at the last moment, ducks out of the way, causing Toco to get tangled up in the ropes! He gets up to his feet quickly and with the last bit of energy he had, he grabs the back of Toco's neck and brings him down onto his knees for the Devil Drive!
Rayne: DEVIL DRIVE! This one's over!
Toco falls out of the ropes and rolls back onto his stomach, he gets back up to his feet, holding his lower back, he stands up straight and looks back to Scorpio, this time catching Toco off guard with a stiff Clothesline from hell! Toco's head hits the mat hard and Scorpio signals for the end of the match! He shouts out over the roaring crowd “DREAM TIME!!” he puts his hands together and rests his head against them, watching Toco intently. Who slowly gets back up to his feet, Shades of early, only reversed now, Scorpio drives his boot him and hooks Toco's head for a modified Dreamwave! Toco pushes Scorpio out of the grapple though and into Jenni Flynt the ref! She goes down hard as Scorpio tries to figure out what just happened. Toco taps Scorpio's shoulder and as Scorpio turns, Toco pulls him for a sick To-Cutter!
Nick Webb: THE TO-CUTTER! New Champion! New Champion!
The crowd is going nuts, Scorpio is down, Toco goes for the pin! But there's no count, Jenni Flynt is still out! Toco looks around, he could've won just there! Red in the face he goes over to the ref to rouse her out of her dazed state.
Rayne: Bad luck, Toco! HA!
Alex Wilkie: Excuse me gents, time for the third reason I'm here tonight!
Nick Webb: Huh? Where's he going?
Alex Wilkie throws off his head set and his sports jacket, and rushes into the ring, sliding under the bottom rope, Toco catches him out of the corner of his eye but too late, Wilkie hits him with a knee and picks Toco up onto his shoulders, then drops him down with his signature “Grade A-KO!” The crowd is about to riot!
Nick Webb: Oh my God! Wilkie just downed the #1 Contender! But why?!
Wilkie grabs Scorpio and pulls him over onto Toco then rushes over to Jenni Flynt! He smacks her face a few times and shouts at her to do her job! Jenni – unsure of what happened herself meekly crawls over to the ring and counts!

“Dreamwave” By Vogel hits the BlazenTron! The crowd is losing their minds! What just happened! Why the hell did Wilkie just screw over Toco! Wilkie goes to side of the ring and grabs the International Title and a Microphone.
Alex Wilkie: That's right, you heard him, folks! Fair and Square!
Wilkie picks Scorpio up and props him up against the turnbuckle, shoving the title into his hands. He rolls out under the bottom rope and begins to walk up the ramp, but he stops mid-way.
Alex Wilkie: Oh, right... now, for the fourth reason I'm here... I haven't just been watching Scorpio these past few weeks... I've been watching you! Toco!
Toco had already gotten back up to his feet, he was seething mad, seeing red, and was only held back by the ropes as Wilkie talked to him from the ramp.
Alex Wilkie: I've been watching you carefully, and all I've seen from you is how much of an embarrassment you are to the legends of BWF. To think that the Hall of Fame is being represented by such a low-life whiney loser, and I still haven't been inducted makes me SICK! Toco, I came back to the BWF to show you how a REAL Legend does it, and the first order of business, is getting rid of you and the tarnished reputation you bring to the name of BWF.
Wilkie drops the microphone on the ramp and flips Toco two big birds then lets out a maniacal laugh as he walks backwards up the ramp. Toco stamps around the ring, too frustrated to even think, he doesn't see Scorpio rush him from behind and crack the International Title across his skull! Toco goes down and in another show of arrogance, Scorpio holds his ill-gotten gains high above his head as he plants his boot on the bloodied Toco.
Nick Webb: Unbelievable! Toco had this match won, and Alex Wilkie screwed him over!
Rayne: That's the first good thing that Canucklehead's done in YEARS! HA!
Nick Webb: If I were Wilkie, I wouldn't show my face around BWF again anytime soon... or else Toco's liable to tear it off!
Rayne: Or eat it off.
Nick Webb: Rayne!
Rayne: Like a fruit roll-up. HEY! That one makes fun of Wilkie AND Toco! I love me.

Matt gets on the apron and gets inside the ring, heading straight to a corner and mounts the middle turnbuckle raising his hands. He shouts out over the loud cheers being rained down on him. He leaps off the corner and bounces off the ropes, raising his arms once again for the Canadian crowd.
Nick Webb: Sort of an odd reaction here for Stone.
Rayne: Canadians are just a better judge of character than Americans.
Scott Benjamin: And his opponent... she hails from Chicago, Illinois... weighing in tonight at 140 pounds... she is the C.E.O. of the Blazenwing Wrestling Federation... The Emerald Phoenix... EMILY CORLEN!!!
The lights in the arena cut to black as the intro to "The Look" by Roxette hits the BlazenTron. As the crowd starts groaning, green strobe lights fill the arena and "The Emerald Phoenix" Emily Corlen slowly rises up through the stage, her arms outstretched akin to wings. She sweeps her arms over her head and closes them around her mouth, screaming loudly before a single blast of pyro goes off behind her. She seems a little distracted as she heard the loud boos being rained down upon her, obviously expecting a different reaction from these Canadian fans. The strobe lights slow down as Emily begins making her way down the ramp. By the time she reaches ringside, the strobe lights have completely stopped and emerald colored spotlights have begun swirling around the crowd and ring.
Nick Webb: Welcome to Bizarro-land.
After making her way around the ring once, Emily hoists herself onto the apron and enters the ring through the first and second ropes. Emily makes her way to all four corners of the ring, climbing up each and posing for the fans, but gets booed at each corner. As the lights return to normal and the music fades, Emily slowly paces around the canvas, glancing out to the still-booing crowd and shakes her head.
Rayne: Oh my god, did you see that? She came out with her grandstanding and her hot dogging and she was booed out of the building! She won’t be able to concentrate at all!
Nick Webb: Above everything else she is, Emily Corlen is a professional. She’ll be fine. Stone, on the other hand, made sure to leave the ring as soon as Emily started coming towards it.
Rayne: Who knows what kind of cheap tactic Emily could use during her entrance!
Nick Webb: Will you be serious?
Stone slides into the ring, dropping something on the apron as he does. Referee Bryan Swanson is finished checking Emily for foreign objects and turns to see Stone in the ring, calling or the bell and the start of the match.
DING!
Corlen takes a step towards Stone, who immediately puts his hands up and backs up against the ropes where he had entered the ring previously. He gets low and picks up what he had dropped earlier, a microphone.
Rayne: Oh joy, Matt’s going to talk!
Nick Webb: (sarcastically) Oh joy is right...
Matt Stone: Whoa, whoa, whoa.... hang on there Emily. Before we get into this, I’ve got something I need to say to you.
Emily looks apprehensive, but elects to allow the Canadian to speak.
Matt Stone: Good. Listen, I know that things have been rough between us for over a year now, and I’m sure you’re sick of talking about it, these people are certainly sick of hearing about it, but I know it all goes back to the Dome of Destruction match in that other company. I’ve never said this to you, but I’m sorry. I’m sorry for everything, I know now that it was all my fault. It was incredibly selfish of me not to support you in your effort to retain your championship. I should have been more considerate of your wishes. This may be hard for you to believe with some of the names you’ve called me over the months, but I’ve done some soul searching over the past few weeks, and yes, sometimes I speak without thinking...well, often, I speak without thinking, but I’m thinking clearly now and I can see that I was at fault this entire time.
Nick Webb: What is this all about?
Rayne: I told you, Matt Stone is a stand-up gentleman!
Matt Stone: I know there’s no going back and I can’t make up for what I’ve done. You’re finally happy without any of my bullshit around you, and that’s great. What I can do for you, is something I should have done fifteen months ago. So Emily, from me to you, I give you this win.
The crowd starts to boo as Stone lays down the microphone and gets on the mat, flat on his back, arms spread out just awaiting for Emily to pin him. Emily raises an eyebrow, looking at the Straight Shooter with apprehension. She takes a few steps towards Matt, who has his eyes closed, not flinching in the least. Corlen swiftly raises her boot in the air right above Stone’s head, and again he doesn’t move or flinch. She stops just short of making contact and reaffirms her foot on the mat, thinking this over.
Nick Webb: I can’t believe this; he’s really just laying down for her.
Rayne: It’s like what I’ve been saying all along, Nick. Matt Stone is a great guy.
The crowd doesn't like this one bit as Emily gets down on her knees for the cover, Bryan getting into position as Stone springs to life! He hooks Emily and rolls her over on her shoulders for a picture perfect inside cradle, Bryan slamming his hand down onto the mat.

Scott Benjamin: Ladies and gentlemen, here is your winner... MATT STONE!!!
The crowd erupts with cheers as Stone releases Emily and slides backwards out of the ring, hoping the barricade and raising his arms in the crowd. Corlen sits up immediately and turns to glare at Stone, who waves to her, pretending to wipe a tear from his eye. A “Stone is Awe-some” chant can be heard from the Montreal fans over Matt’s theme music.
Rayne: Amazing! What a great move!
Nick Webb: Great move? You said he was a gentleman, Rayne!
Rayne: He is! He just won a wrestling match without striking a woman! Brilliant!
Corlen starts kicking the bottom rope out of frustration as Stone makes his way up the crowd towards the exit, skipping up the steps with his arms held high.
Nick Webb: Add another name to the list of people who shouldn't bother showing up to work next Monday night. To quote BWF Hall of Famer X... Matt Stone just got marked!

Scott Benjamin: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is your Tainted Twilight 2014 main event... it is scheduled for ONE fall... and it is for the BWF World Championship!!!

Out from behind the curtains out walks Elizabeth Davis as “Acapella” by Karmin plays throughout the arena. The crowd greets her with a mixture of boos in small parts of the arena but the cheers quickly drown them out as she stands on the stage. She flips her hair back and starts to make her way down the ramp.
Nick Webb: The challenger makes her way to the ring and she’s on her own here tonight. Certainly, she's popular in Canada, just like Matt Stone in the last match.
She walks past everyone on the entrance way and jogs up the steel steps before climbing through the ropes. She waves to a few fans as she walks around the ramp and awaits the start of the match. The lights go out as cameras start to flash. LMFAO's "Sexy and I Know It" starts to play as a spotlight shines down to the center of the stage.
When I walk in the spot (yeah), this is what I see (ok)
Everybody stops and they staring at me
The lights have come up and purple smoke starts to fill the stage. An arrangement of fireworks go off near the entrance as a hulking silhouette is shown and coming from the smoke is Casey Campbell ready for action. He stands at the top of the stage with the BWF World Championship around his waist and looks over towards the side stage and flexes for all to see and all that see are giving a warm welcome for the PWNStar. He spins the belt's center plate and grins as a few women in the crowd can be heard screaming for Campbell.

Nick Webb: And here comes the Champion.
Rayne: I still can’t believe that Casey Campbell is the BWF World Champion. Casey’s beat Liz’s mentor of sorts when he beat Matt Stone at Survival of the Sickest.
Campbell takes his time walking down the ring and makes sure to pose in front of a camera placed near the fans on the ramp. He rubs the BWF World Championship and strikes a pose before sliding into the ring.
Ah... Girl look at that body

Casey flexes in the middle of the ring as the music begins to die down. He hands the BWF World Title to the referee.
Scott Benjamin: Introducing first, the challenger... she hails from Kingston, Ontario, Canada... weighing in at 122 pounds... she is ELIZABETH DAVIS!!!
The crowd gives her more cheers as she leans against the turnbuckle and watches Campbell.
Scott Benjamin: And her opponent... he is the current and reigning BWF World Champion... he hails from Skymont, Tennessee... weighing in at 262 pounds... he is the PWNStar... he is CASEY CAMPBELL!!!
Campbell jumps to a turnbuckle and throws his arms out. He comes back down and turns back to Davis. The referee holds the championship up for all to see before handing it off.
DING!
The bell sounds as Campbell and Davis start to circle each other and the fans are on their feet. The two competitors lock up and Campbell quickly overpowers her and brings her to a knee. He locks in a headlock and starts to squeeze Davis’ head tight in his arms. He drags her around the ring before driving a fist into her head. Davis falls backwards to the mat and climbs back to her feet and is taken right back down with a clothesline. She hits the mat and bounces back up and walks back into Campbell who’s there to pick her up for a gorilla press as he walks around the ring before dropping Davis face first to the mat.
Nick Webb: The strength of Casey Campbell being shown off here early on.
Campbell flexes his muscles once again to show off as Davis rolls to her back and slowly gets to her feet. Davis comes at Campbell and ducks a right hand and jumps on his back and locks in a sleeper hold. Campbell flips her over and throws her on her back. He pulls her back to her feet and she rocks him with a jawbreaker. Campbell staggers backwards as Davis rushes off the ropes and connects with a running dropkick to the chest of Campbell that knocks him out of the ring through the ropes.
Nick Webb: Campbell all the way to the floor.
Rayne: This is what Liz needs to do to win this match. She needs to keep the offense on Casey.
Davis measures up Campbell on the outside of the ring and rushes off the far side of the ring, back at Campbell, and then dives over the top rope and corkscrews before crashing down onto him. The crowd pops for the high flying move as both competitors are down.
Rayne: Did you see that twist?
Nick Webb: Elizabeth Davis putting everything on the line with a move like that. She’s here with a purpose and will clearly do whatever she needs to do to win.
Davis gets to her feet and starts to pull Campbell to his. She rolls him into the ring and jumps to the apron. She grabs the top ropes and flips over it and hits the Do a Barrel Roll (Slingshot Senton) to Campbell. She dives back towards him and hooks the leg.

Campbell powers to his feet and quickly drives a knee into the gut of Davis as they lock back up. Davis falls to a knee as Campbell rushes off the ropes and drives his knee into the skull of Davis. She falls onto her back and Campbell falls to his knees and hooks a leg for a cover.

Nick Webb: Campbell and Davis exchanging two counts here.
Campbell pulls Davis to her feet by her hair and gets a warning from the referee. Campbell says something to the referee and Davis rakes the eyes of the champion who gets a warning of her own. Campbell backs into the ropes and rubs his eyes. Davis charges Campbell but gets lifted over the top rope. Davis lands on her feet as Campbell turns around and gets hit with an elbow to the side of the head. Davis comes springboarding into the ring and looks for a hurricanrana but Campbell turns it into a spinning sit-down powerbomb that shakes the ring. Campbell rolls Davis up for a pinfall.

Nick Webb: Davis has to be shaken up after that powerbomb.
Campbell gets to his feet and takes a few seconds to breathe, allowing Davis to get to her feet under her own will. Davis walks up to Campbell and unloads with a series of quick left and rights before spinning and connecting with a forearm. Campbell falls back into a corner as Davis connects with a running splash. She rushes off the ropes as Campbell staggers out of the corner and tries to clothesline him down but he stays standing. Davis tries for another clothesline off the ropes but Campbell drops her with a shoulder block. Campbell drops an elbow on Davis and stands, quickly dropping another elbow, standing and then dropping a leg across Davis. Campbell pulls Davis to her feet and locks in a bear hug in the middle of the ring.
Nick Webb: Casey is squeezing the life out of Liz right now.
Rayne: Casey Campbell isn’t ready to let go of the BWF World Championship just yet.
The referee checks on the arm of Davis as she appears to be falling to sleep.

Casey keeps the pressure on.

Campbell yells at the referee to check one more time.
The hand of Davis doesn’t fall a third time as she tries to battle out. Campbell then spins her around and drives her to the mat with a belly to belly suplex. Campbell pops to his feet and comes off the ropes and jumps, hitting an atomic leg drop. Campbell rises to his feet and shakes the top ropes and gets the crowd going. He gets down and sets up Davis.
Rayne: Here it comes!
Davis gets to her feet and turns right into Campbell who looks for the PWNED (Spear) but Davis moves out of the way just in time. Campbell stops himself by putting his foot on the middle turnbuckle. He turns around and tries to charge again but gets dropped with the Clock Strikes Midnight (Trouble in Paradise)! Davis dives into a cover.

Nick Webb: Davis almost had it won there!
Campbell looks dazed as he shakes his head, Davis looks up to the ceiling knowing that she was close. Davis grabs the legs of Campbell and tries to lock in the Maple Leaf Lock (Figure Four) but Campbell overpowers and kicks her away. Davis hits a turnbuckle hard and doubles over. Campbell is to his feet and lifts her to the top rope and climbs to the second. He hooks the arm of Davis and brings her crashing down to the mat with a superplex. Both competitors are down and the crowd is cheering.
Rayne: These two putting on a great show here tonight.
Campbell gets to his feet first and Davis isn’t too far behind. Campbell grabs Davis and drops her with a DDT. Campbell gets Davis back to her feet and sends her off the ropes and meets her with a spinebuster. Campbell pops to his feet and rolls Davis onto her stomach. Campbell then starts to pull on the arms of Davis and puts his boot on the back on her head as he sets up for the Hashtag (Curb Stomp). Davis moves her head as Campbell stomps on the mat and Davis gets away. Davis spins Campbell around and starts to hit elbows. Campbell staggers backwards and just as Davis pulls back for another, Campbell explodes with the PWNED (Point Blank Spear)!
Nick Webb: Liz just got PWNED!
Campbell falls to his back as Davis seems to be out cold. The crowd is half cheering, half booing Campbell on as he rolls over and drapes his arm across Davis.

The crowd explodes! They can’t believe it and neither can Campbell.
Rayne: Liz Davis will not die!
Casey turns Liz over and starts to apply the Campbell Clutch (Crouching Cobra Clutch) in the center of the ring, knowing the match will be over in a matter of moments. As he cinches on the hold, however, Liz shifts her weight forward, flipping Casey over her head and sending him tumbling down onto the mat! Casey scrambles to his feet and turns around, but from out of nowhere, BAM! A second Clock Strikes Midnight, right between the eyes! The roof comes off the Centre Bell as Liz pulls Casey into the center of the ring and hooks both legs!

The crowd comes unglued as Liz rolls out of the cover and slowly stands up, not daring to believe it.
Scott Benjamin: Ladies and gentlemen... here is your winner... and the NEW BWF World Champion...
Liz covers her mouth, almost shaking.
Scott Benjamin: ...ELIZABETH... DAVIS!!!
"Acapella" by Karmin starts playing over the BlazenTron and the proud Canadian crowd starts cheering like their favorite team just won the Stanley Cup as Mike Kosiboski hands Casey's spinning BWF World Title belt to Elizabeth. She nearly starts to cry as she looks down at the belt, touching it gently, before hoisting it high above her head to a (somehow) even bigger crowd reaction!
Nick Webb: Mark it down in your calendars... on March 24, 2014, Elizabeth Davis came to Montreal, Quebec with the biggest dream in our business, and as this night rolls to a close, god as my witness, she has achieved that dream! Elizabeth Davis is your NEW BWF World Champion!
Rayne: Finally, justice for Matt Stone has been served! Way to go, girl! Yeah!
Casey has only just started coming to in the ring as Liz rolls out of it and heads into the crowd, celebrating with the Montreal natives who came to see her perform. She hugs an older woman who looks like she could be a relative, before heading further out into the crowd, where one eager fan pulls her close and pours a beer right onto her in celebration! Liz seems slightly annoyed, but still laughs as she holds the title up proudly. Back in the ring, Casey is now sitting up and, realizing that his dream is over, shakes his head dejectedly as he stares down at the canvas.
Nick Webb: Tough break for Casey Campbell, but a HUGE congratulations to Elizabeth Davis! You did it, kid! You're a World Champion!
Rayne: I'm telling you, this is karma for screwing over Matt Stone!
Nick Webb: Yes, yes, you've mentioned that. Folks, we're out of time here tonight in Montreal, but we thank you for inviting us into your homes this evening! For Rayne, I'm Nick Webb... good night from Tainted Twilight! We'll see you next week on Monday Night Havok!
Out in the crowd, we see one final shot of Liz Davis, a few fans now holding a massive Canadian flag up behind her as she holds the title up, before the pay-per-view feed fades to the BWF logo, and then finally to black.
