Episode 142 - June 6, 2011
BWF Havok comes to you live tonight from the Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois! Nick Webb, Rayne and Alex Wilkie open Monday Night Havok by welcoming fans to the show! Xaria Linette and Emily Corlen will be in action tonight, Alex Wilkie has challenged BWF Dragonzord Champion Triad to a match for his title, Matt Stone defends the U.S. Championship against Finale, and most importantly of all, we're going to find out who will be facing the BWF World Champion at WrestleFest! But we don't know who will even BE the World Champion in a week's time, because in the main event, Gabe Shelley is being forced to defend the title against former ally (and two-time BWF World Champion) David Blazenwing! If Shelley wins, he will become the focal entry into the BWF Hall of Fame Class of 2011, but if he doesn't, he gets nothing, and Blazenwing has promised that the man who has personified the BWF since the company's return in February will be lucky to even make it to WrestleFest!
Viral Arrival
The camera shifts from ringside to backstage we find Johnny Maverick waiting by the Allstate Arena entrance, looking at his fancy watch. You'd probably expect to see his fiancee, Emily Corlen, by his side, but for some reason Johnny is alone right now. He's got a fancy suit on of course, and why shouldn't he? Monday Night Mavok was a success and probably BWF's best cable show in a long while.
Johnny Maverick: Jesus. He said he'd be here a half hour ago.
It was getting very close to the start of Havok. Johnny had places to be. But a car rolled up and a valet immediately came to the driver side, opening the door and taking the keys - along with a generous tip - from Matthew Engel. The crowd watching on the big screen has a mixed reaction. The valet drove off with Engel's rental car and Matt removed his sunglasses from his face, greeting Johnny with a handshake.
Johnny Maverick: Traveling light?
Matthew Engel: I plan on getting back to Milwaukee as soon as possible. Why did you insist on meeting me right away?
Johnny Maverick: Plans, Matt! We have plans. I appreciate your interest in them.
Matthew Engel: My interests are as self-serving as they come, Johnny. You should know that.
Both of them begin to walk inside as the camera follows them.
Johnny Maverick: Listen - let's just cut the crap, Matt. I understand you don't have many supporters, friends, whatever... I know you play the tough, cold-hearted bastard guy perfectly. I know exactly why you agreed to this match.
Matthew Engel: Really? Enlighten me.
Johnny Maverick: You want to fuck with Blazenwing as much as I do. The guy has been a thorn in your side for months now and just because my girl got him kicked out of the PWA, doesn't mean he is going away. You want to push him out of the AoWF.
Matthew Engel: No, I don't. Actually, I want to keep him in the AoWF. I know that he won't tuck tail and run after you take his company from him. He'll still be around, which is great, because he will forever be reminded that I took away the one thing he cherishes the most - BWF.
Johnny Maverick: You took it away? Matt, this was all my doing. I recruited you because I know you will help us get the job done.
Matthew Engel: You recruited me because you know you can't put Wood, Blazenwing, Rob, or that Black Devil away - and I can. You've been gone for a long time, John. Who knows what condition you truly are in and what kind of rust you need to shake off. Everyone has to do it. You're going to be in one of the biggest matches of your career next week, and you need the best people around you, which is why I can't begin to understand what the hell Ash Nukem is doing on our little team.
Johnny looks a little angry.
Matthew Engel: Calm down, John boy. I'm just speaking the truth, and you know it. No matter how selfish my reasons are, I have agreed to help you put an end to David Blazenwing's credibility. Getting a few shots in on Rob and Marvin will be bonus, that's for sure.
Johnny Maverick: Do you even know how much of a prick you really are?
Matthew Engel: Of course I do. Does that bother you? Because I can go back to Milwaukee right now.
Johnny Maverick: It does bother me, but I can deal with it. I know once that bell rings, you'll be as great as you can be. The same goes with Lisa, and even Ash. Don't count him out; he's getting better and better every week.
Matthew Engel: He pushed Marxx into a shark tank. Big fucking deal.
Johnny lets out a laugh.
Johnny Maverick: Yeah I know, but he's good. Don't worry about him.
Matthew Engel: You're really going to marry her, aren't you?
Johnny Maverick: Of course I am.
Matthew Engel: I suppose the saying "don't shit where you eat" doesn't apply to you.
Johnny Maverick: No, it doesn't. She's great, you should give her a chance.
Matthew Engel: When I'm dead, everyone will get a chance. Until then - fuck 'em. But Johnny, I have a soft spot for you. I honestly see a younger, less experienced me inside of you. I just hope you go down a better path to get where I am right now.
Johnny nods, as they reach his locker room.
Johnny Maverick: Be ready for anything tonight.
Virus pulls out a pair of brass knuckles from his jacket pocket; the same brass knuckles he's been using for years.
Matthew Engel: I always am.
He gives Johnny a smirk and then continues walking, leaving Johnny to go inside his locker room where we assume his entourage is hanging out. At least, his fiancee is there.
Emily Corlen: Who were you talking to Johnny?
Johnny Maverick: Engel.
Emily Corlen: Ugh.
Johnny Maverick: Yeah, yeah. He's on our side tonight. Now, let's talk about more ideas for upcoming Mavok shows.
The door closes behind Johnny and Monday Night Havok begins!
BWF DRAGONZORD CHAMPIONSHIP
Alex Wilkie vs. Triad ©
DING DING DING!!!
Scott Benjamin: The Following match is scheduled for ONE fall and is for the BWF DRAGONZORD TITLE!
"Time Stands Still" by Rush hits the BlazenTron as Alex Wilkie steps out from behind the announcer's table, wearing his wrestling garb tattered with logos and advertisements, then rolls under the bottom rope and awaits the champion.
Scott Benjamin: In the ring - Weighing at 251 pounds - from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada! Grade A... ALEX WILKIE!!!
Alex raises a fist and hops in one place, going over plans in his head.
Rayne: You know, I think Alex is trying to earn some extra money with his suit there.
Nick Webb: Oh, sure, like you wouldn't try to either...
Scott Benjamin: And his opponent...
"Regret Nothing" Hits the BlazenTron as the crowd explodes, Triad runs out from behind the curtain, Dragonzord title strapped around his waist!
Scott Benjamin: Weighing in at 210 pounds, from Osaka, Japan... He is the BWF DRAGONZORD CHAMPION, TRRRIAAADD!!!
Triad jogs down the ramp, slapping a few fans hands, high fiving the ones with the plastic "Triad" masks who were hanging over the barricade, However, from behind, Big O and Stryker Cloud rush out and attack Triad!! Triad fights Big O off but is met with a hard kick to the stomach from Stryker! Alex rushes out of the ring to help Triad, but is blindsided by a huge big boot from none other than BIO-CYDE! Bam and Hypetreme both join the fray and continue to pummel into Triad and Wilkie, in the chaos the lights go out and the familiar transformation sound rings through the arena.
"SAI! GORILLA! ZOU!!"
There is a brilliant flash as all five men are pushed away, and the silver form of Triad stands there pounding his chest, Wilkie backs up away from Triad who begins his rampage on the five attackers, spearing Bam into the barricade, Slamming Biocyde to the ground, and leaving Hypetreme, Big O and Stryker Cloud backing up in retreat...
WINNER: No Contest (Match Never Started)
The crowd roars and cheers into another huge pop as Blazenwing walks out to the stage microphone in hand.
David Blazenwing: Alright, this is starting to piss me off, I have a huge match tonight, I don't want to be worrying about this dumb shit anymore... Big O... You and Triad are going to settle your differences once and for all... at WrestleFest!
The crowd explodes in cheers but Dave calls for silence.
David Blazenwing: And to give you an advantage against Triad's magic act there, You'll have Stryker Cloud, Hypetreme, Biocyde and Bam as your back-up in a 5 on 1 Falls Count Anywhere Match - if anyone on your team pins Triad, you'll get the Title Big O... but if anyone of your team is pinned... YOU will lose.
Triad, holding his heavy silver fists heaves his head in agreement, underneath his helmet he was grinning. Big O looked a little worse for wear now, but still nodded as Havok faded to commercial.
The Most Awesomely Awesome Evil Alliance Ever!
Our scene cuts backstage to Star Struck, who once again have something sinister planned. Andy throws on a mask and turns around!
Andy Sensation: (muffled) I'm the mother fucking SKELETOR! OVERLORD OF EVIL!
Star Diamond: nice dude!
Star turns around to show him with a black eye mask on , red tie, and black and white jump suit on. He takes a large hat with a yellow stripe and throws it on. Andy lifts his mask up a bit.
Andy Sensation: really dude?
Star Diamond: what? I am the worst villain around Bro!
Andy Sensation: the fucking Hamburglar?
Star Diamond: He has been around for ages and people fear him!
Andy Sensation: yeah whatever dude, let's just head out to the ring.
All the sudden a large boom happens and a beam of light, comes spilling on to Star Struck. The camera pans over to show a silhouette of a woman holding 2 shotguns. She steps into focus and reveals it's Heather Diamond in camouflage holding her own nerf guns.
Heather Diamond: payback is a bitch.
She pops our two stars in with many darts. As she runs out, they look at her very confused. Andy throws down his mask and walks out of the locker room. Star right behind him stops by her.
Star Diamond: Nerf was last week honey. Good try though.
Star kisses her and heads on out of the locker room. She looks defeated as she sighs and sits down.
"That's Entertainment" by Powerman 5000 hits the PA! The fans roar with mixed reactions, as Star Struck comes out in costume. The fans all laugh as Star trolls on down to the ring in full Hamburglar costume, and Andy shaking his head. They slide into the ring, and look around at the fans that are having a great time laughing. Andy ask for a microphone and looks around the ring.
Andy Sensation: Mumble mumble mumble.
Star Diamond: give me that. Listen no one can hear you. There we go. Listen up bitches! There has been a lot of talk that we have a Superman here in BWF. Of course superman couldn't save himself last week, but none the less Andy and I have become the greatest villains of all time! He is pure evil and I will steal your happy... meals Anyways! Tonight ladies and gentleman the greatest villains that the BWF has ever seen will destroy superman. Of course, a real superman never hides from his enemies. So come on out Gabe Shelley!
"In Fate's Hands" by Red Jumpsuit Apparatus rolls throughout the arena; as MIDGET GABE SHELLEY COMES RUNNING OUT! He is wearing a superman outfit along with that goofy looking vest Shelley can be seen in. He mockingly follows Gabe's entrance to the T, and enters the ring. He stares down the Hamburglar and Skeletor. Star Struck begin to shake in their boots.
Star Diamond: oh no he actually came out here! What will we do Skeletor?!
Andy digs into his pocket and pulls out a green rock and chucks it at the poor little midget. He goes down hard. Star digs out a big mac from his nasty ass pockets and throws it on top of the poor midget. Andy picks up midget superman Shelley and slams him. Star grabs the green rock and smashes it into the forehead of Superman. The poor little midget lies there as if he were dead.
Star Diamond: Superman is dead!
The fans erupt and all the sudden from out of nowhere the super-heroine STUTTERFLY appears with a dropkick on Star, who bumps into Andy. Both men turn and Stutterfly looks for a big double clothesline on both of them. The two of them both shrug it off and look at her as to ask "are you serious?" She looks for another double clothesline but the two men duck turn around. Then both seem very scared as Stutterfly begins to yell come on. She doesn't notice the man behind her though. Star and Andy both slowly begin to head out of the ring as the camera pans and shows SPYKEMAN! is here! Little Superman is back up to his feet and joining the heroes of all sizes as the two villains leap over the ropes and begin running up the ramp. Spykeman!, Stutterfly and Little Superman all pose as Havok cuts to commercial.
Xaria Linette vs. Lenard the Mime
As Havok returns from commercial, we see Lenard the Mime already waiting in the ring, doing various miming poses. "Send Me An Angel" by Real Life hits the BlazenTron and the fans cheer loudly as BWF Tag Team Champion Xaria Linette makes her way to the ring, seemingly unsure of how to approach the challenge before her. The bell rings and the two spend a minute or two feeling one another out, Lenard mimicking every one of Xaria's moves. Xaria then gets an idea as she rolls out of the ring and grabs her glitter covered chair. Lenard follows and grabs a chair of his own and both stars roll back into the ring. Xaria then swings the chair upwards at her own face, stopping just short of hitting herself. Lenard, however, does not, and knocks himself out cold with the chair! Since he did it to himself, the referee can't disqualify anybody, and can only shrug as Xaria smiles innocently before gently placing a single finger on Lenard's chest for the 1, 2, 3!
WINNER: Xaria Linette, via pinfall
Heart to Heart
Emily Corlen was knocking on someone's door. We're not quite sure who it is, because the door has no name or anything written on it.
??: Enter.
Emily opened the door and the camera veers inside. We see that it is Matthew Engel, PWA World Champion. A bit shocking yes, considering they just had a brutal match the night before that didn't end well for either one of them.
Matthew Engel: Sit down, Emily.
Emily obeyed, with a skeptical look on her face. Engel's title was nowhere in sight; we can't imagine that he was putting it away to prevent upsetting her. The Engel we all know would have it right out in front of her, staring at and teasing her.
Emily Corlen: Why do you want to talk to me, Matt?
Matthew Engel: I just want to assure you personally that tonight and next Monday, I am on your side.
Emily Corlen: Yeah, Johnny told me. It's a bit hard to believe you don't have your own agenda that involves fucking everyone over.
Engel shook his head.
Matthew Engel: I do have my own agenda. I've had it since Genesis: to make life miserable for David Blazenwing. Tonight and next week, I get to do just that. My agenda intertwines with your fiancee's agenda. My desire to fuck Blazenwing over coincides with Johnny's desire to take over BWF. Believe me when I tell you, I'm on your side for now.
Emily rolled her eyes.
Emily Corlen: For now, huh?
Matthew Engel: Bringing us to the other thing I wanted to discuss with you. Summer Sizzler. You've managed to impress Rob Robinson and so you've got another chance at the PWA World Championship. Make no mistake about it that after our business here in BWF, you will no longer be on my side and you will no longer warrant my cooperation.
Emily folded her arms, frowning slightly.
Emily Corlen: Typical Matthew. If you're trying to intimidate me here, it's not going to work.
Matthew Engel: I'm only stating facts. I also wanted to apologize for my brother and his poor choice of company. It's regrettable that my personal family matters spilled into our otherwise stellar match and robbed us of a true winner.
Emily scoffed at the idea.
Emily Corlen: They robbed me of a World Championship, Matt, and you know that.
Engel laughed.
Matthew Engel: I'll tell you what I do know; I've got more experience in this business than you and Matt Stone combined. I've also got a better history of fulfilling my promises and goals. You do know that, don't you?
Emily was a bit annoyed, but nodded her head regardless.
Matthew Engel: Believe it or not, I'm not interested in being your enemy. I'm not interested in being Matt Stone's enemy, either, but he has no other way to get my attention other than attacking me. He wants to go down the same road I've gone down many times. So be it. But I trust you to handle this professionally for the sake of competition and the PWA. If you want to go down the same road Matt is going, then I won't stop you. You'll regret it, though, because at the end of that road is a place neither one of you has been, whereas I've been there countless times. It's a place of no morals, mercy, or any sense of happiness. It's an ever empty void that you can't fill with all the gold and victories in the world.
Engel paused for a moment. Emily was slightly confused, seeing a side of this man she had never seen before.
Matthew Engel: Stone has already made his choice, and he'll pay handsomely for it. I urge you to choose a different road.
Emily Corlen: I'm doing this the only way I know how: training as hard as I can and being the best at what I do. The only thing I can promise you is that you won't be as lucky at Sizzler as you were last night.
Matthew Engel: I hope so, for the PWA's sake. I want you to become obsessed with what happened last night, and with what happened last week in your loss to Jethro and me. Become obsessed with being the best and work even harder to make sure it happens. I see a lot of potential in you, Emily, and I can only hope that whatever motivation you have doesn't drive you down the same path it did me. I hope you drives you down a better path, because should Sizzler be my last match in the PWA, I want to make sure the company is left in capable hands.
Emily looked up at Engel, a look of "What did you just say?" across her face.
Emily Corlen: Your last match?
Engel nodded.
Matthew Engel: What started last night isn't going to go away in a couple of weeks. If I know him and his past as well as I think I do, he'll be expecting me to come to him. And I'm going to have to if I want to get my brother back. I may have to go to Victory.
Emily looked worried. Despite how she feels about him, she can't help but feel sorry for his current predicament involving his brother. She asked the million dollar question; the only question she could ask.
Emily Corlen: Who are you talking about?
Matthew Engel: I can't say. It's just speculation at this point. My focus right now needs to be on Warren... and Lisa has told me he has signed a contract with Victory.
Emily Corlen: I see. Well... it sounds like a tough situation, Matt, but don't think I'll be taking it easy on you at Sizzler.
Matthew Engel: I wouldn't expect you to. If people took it easy on me, I wouldn't be as great as I am today.
Emily rolls her eyes and then the camera feed is cut. Back to ringside.
BWF UNITED STATES CHAMPIONSHIP
Finale vs. Matt Stone ©
The bell rings as both men lock up in the center of the ring. There ends up being very little of a technical match here, despite both men being well versed in the technical style; it's clear this one has become personal quickly, and so the two brawl with one another up and down the ringside area. Stone becomes distracted momentarily as he notices Marvin Wood sitting at ringside, but Wood doesn't acknowledge him, instead being merely content to enjoy the show, flanked by a circle of security guards to avoid having to consort with the normal people in Chicago. At this point, the referee is nearing the ten count, and Finale attempts to grab Stone and toss him back into the ring since the title cannot change hands on a countout, but Stone counters it into a Russian leg sweep, then quickly sprints back into the ring, just barely making it before the ref hits ten! Finale is still coming to his feet on the outside and his heart sinks as the referee calls for the bell!
WINNER AND STILL UNITED STATES CHAMPION: Matt Stone, via countout
As the crowd boos loudly, Matt Stone grabs the mic and proclaims that since he has now beaten Finale soundly on multiple occasions, Finale can no longer challenge him for the U.S. Title, and since there are no worthy challengers left in BWF, Stone intends to take the title with him to PWA and retire it! Just then, Executive Assistant Johnny Maverick walks onto the stage and tells Stone that he's just been conversing with one of the members of his team next week at WrestleFest, Stone's Summer Sizzler opponent Matthew Engel! Johnny says Engel had a fantastic idea for next week's pay-per-view.
It's WrestleFest, and there needs to be a United States Championship Match, and there will be one, because Matt Stone is being forced to defend the title against Finale one more time... in a match with no countouts, no DQs, nothing but a pin or a submission can net you the win! And there will be no running, either, because at WrestleFest, the U.S. Title will be contested... inside HELL IN A CELL! Stone's eyes widen and he shakes his head, screaming into the mic about how unfair this is and how Matthew Engel just wants to try to soften him up for Summer Sizzler! On the outside of the ring, Finale is grinning from ear to ear and points at Stone before motioning for gold around his waist. At WrestleFest, there will be no cheap shots and no excuses!
God(dess) of Thunder!
We cut backstage to the team of Star Struck. They are walking around in their full costumes still having a blast talking to ring crew, and taking photos with a lot of people backstage. Andy grabs Star really quick and whispers in his ear.
Andy Sensation: Dude, I'm getting out of this thing, it's really constricting.
Star Diamond: Cool dude; I will see you back in the locker room.
Andy begins heading off down the hallway. He begins to yank on the belts across his chest, but they don't seem to budge off of him at all. He sighs, as now tries to wiggle his shoulders but nothing seems to work.
Andy Sensation: going to need a knife for this damn thing.
??: HOLD IT RIGHT THERE, SKELETOR!
From down the hall, the camera pans over to reveal a small, female "Thor" holding a giant NERF thunder hammer, Mjolnir. At first no one's sure who it is, but the light French accent starts to give it away...
??: I am the Mighty Thor and you cannot stop me from defeating you! Take this!
The female Thor -- better known as Xaria Linette-- charges forward with her hammer in tow and a battle cry. Once she's in distance of Andy, she smacks him right in the face with it! With that thunderous whack to the noggin Andy goes down. He looks up and groans a bit. Thor is holding her mighty hammer in the air; as he is slowly getting back up.
Andy Sensation: so you think you can just waltz on in her and smack the might Skeletor overlord of evil the face huh?
He picks up his Havoc Staff and begins twirling it around.
Andy Sensation: You are no match for freezing ray!
He points his Havoc staff at the female Thor, but forgets he isn't really Skeletor. He keeps thrusting the staff towards her but nothing happens.
Andy Sensation: shit.
Xaria whacks him in right in the mid-section with the hammer. He bends over and coughs up a bit. He looks back up at Xaria, who is setting up for swing number three.
Andy Sensation: okay okay! you have bested me Thor! I am defeated, but we shall meet again! For I am Skeletor! OVERLORD OF EVIL!
Andy takes off running the other directions in hopes of escaping the mighty Xaria complete with Nerf Hammer.
Xaria Linette: Aw, c'mon now... at least I didn't kick you where the sun doesn't shine...
Andy Sensation: yeah! well! you are just lucky that...that...my staff didn't work...and well that my hamburglar wasn't here...damn it Star what a lame villain...well, glad someone learned to lighten up a bit and live a little.
He drops his staff and puts his hands up and slowly makes his way back towards Xaria. He looks a little puzzled of why she is dressed like Thor. He then laughs, and Xaria grips on to her hammer tighter.
Andy Sensation: all right there slugger, hold on for a minute. How is it one week, you are completely pissed off over a couple nerf darts, this week we have you dressing up as Thor and smacking me around with a foam hammer?
She looks him in the eye for a moment before she straightens out her winged helmet and brushes at her red cape with her free hand.
Xaria Linette: Well... I'm trying to have fun again. I've been so miserable lately that I figured it was for the better to try and cheer up. Just because there's some drama in my life doesn't mean it has to consume my every thought. I know I shouldn't even be... approaching you, since you ARE the enemy, but I'm not afraid of a fight.
Andy Sensation: oh, someone got over their boyfriend break up sobs and sought out the most awesome guy she knows. Hey when a girl punches you doesn't that mean they like you?
Xaria Linette: Uh... no?
Immediately, Xaria takes a step back from Andy, becoming a little insecure.
Andy Sensation: aw to bad, figured you got dressed up as Thor just for me. Shucks...guess its back to being mortal enemies across the ring from each other. Too bad, I thought I was going to like you. Since, well you obviously know how to play around.
Andy winks at her, and gets a smirk on his face.
Xaria Linette: I... I'm not interested in the likes of you, sorry. I thought this was just a game...?
Andy Sensation: well then...my offer to upgrade you to a man friend still stands. See you next week in the ring.
He quickly dives in and gives her a big ol kiss. She immediately breaks it off and smacks him. He bites his lip a bit as he turns his head back towards her. To be greeted by Thor's hammer once again across the face. He goes down...
Star Diamond: NOOOOO NOT AGAIN! HAMBURGLAR TO THE RESCUE!
Star Diamond comes bolting down the hall way throwing happy meals at Xaria, who is unaffected. She swings the hammer with all her might and knocks down Star as well. Star Struck is down as the might Xaria holds her hammer up high.
Xander Strife vs. Emily Corlen
The bell rings as former BWF Tag Team Champion Xander Strife and current eWo World Tag Team Champion Emily Corlen tie up in the center of the ring. Xander tries to Irish whip Emily, but Emily holds her ground, not budging. She pulls him back in for a clothesline, but Xander ducks and goes for his X-Cutter (Diamond Cutter)! Emily shoves him off, though, into the ropes, and as Xander staggers back, she hoists him into the air and slams him to the mat with a vicious Catalyst (Glam Slam) before covering for the 1, 2, 3!
WINNER: Emily Corlen, via pinfall
In the ring, Emily poses for the fans as they cheer loudly. Suddenly, "Superstar" by Saliva hits the BlazenTron and BWF C.E.O. David Blazenwing walks out onto the stage, smirking.
The Announcements Everyone Have Been Waiting For
David Blazenwing: Now, now, Emily, please. Don't look too upset. I'm not coming out here specifically to interrupt you. I just figure I'm about to become the only three-time BWF World Champion in this company's history so I wanted to start the celebration early. But before I do THAT, I have a few announcements to make.
The crowd starts to boo, seeing the jerk DB slowly start to sink back in.
David Blazenwing: First off, this thing between Star Struck and the Angelic Marvels? It's going to end at WrestleFest, once and for all. Gabe and Xaria will be defending their BWF Tag Team Championships against those bleach blonde idiots one more time, but if Star Struck fails this time, no more shots while the Marvels have the titles.
The crowd cheers loudly.
David Blazenwing: I also, as much as I hate to admit it, have to give your fiancee credit, Emily. Don't get me wrong, I'm going to wipe the canvas with him in the main event of WrestleFest next week, but as far as the U.S. Title Match he made earlier goes? I can't argue with it. Love it. Let those two tools kill themselves inside of the Cell.
DB smirks.
David Blazenwing: I'm also going to book Arnold Hawk against Jeremy Gold, because I've always wondered what would happen if a retarded guy and a blind guy got into a fight!
The crowd boos.
David Blazenwing: You people obviously have no sense of entertainment! Ugh. Whatever. Alright, that leaves one decision... who will be facing the BWF World Champion at WrestleFest?
The fans start chanting several names.
David Blazenwing: Well, as it turns out, NOBODY will be!
The fans boo loudly.
David Blazenwing: Now, now, let's be reasonable here. I'm already participating in the main event of WrestleFest, with the fate of this very company on the line! If I'm going into the match as the BWF World Champion, I can't very well be expected to defend my title in addition, can I? And besides, it's not even the first time the BWF World Title hasn't been defended at WrestleFest! WrestleFest IV, anybody?
The fans still continue booing loudly.
David Blazenwing: Look, my mind is made up. I don't care what you or anybody else has to say about -
Blazenwing is interrupted as "Make Some Noise" by Krystal Meyers hits the BlazenTron and after a few seconds, former BWF starlet Katie James walks onto the stage, holding a piece of paper! The crowd cheers loudly as Katie waves at Emily in the ring, who is still hanging over the top rope, watching the proceedings on the stage.
Katie James: Hi, Dave! What's the matter? You look unhappy to see me.
David Blazenwing: (sigh) Hello, Kathryn. What can I do for you? I'm a little busy.
Katie James: Oh, that's fine. I won't be long. I just wanted to come out here and claim my rightful spot at WrestleFest.
David Blazenwing: Rightful spot? What are you...
Katie smiles as she hands DB a very legal-looking piece of paper. He looks over the paper, shaking his head.
David Blazenwing: Yeah, you won the 2006 Gauntlet Run Match. I was there. Fantastic for you.
Katie holds up her hand.
Katie James: I won, yes, but I never got a title shot. Instead of allowing me to face someone for the vacant title at WrestleFest IV, I got nothing and instead had to watch Danny and Anthony stink up the main event of the show in a non-title match. So, I'm cashing in the title opportunity next week that I earned over four years ago.
David Blazenwing: You can't do that.
Katie James: My lawyers say I can!
David Blazenwing: I... but...
DB looks through the paper again.
David Blazenwing: ...you're injured! Look at you!
Blazenwing motions down, where we can see Katie's ankle, while out of its cast, is still in a protective ankle brace.
Katie James: Nothing gets past you, Dave. But that's alright, because my lawyers read through the contract and notified me that in the event that I am physically unable to claim my earned title opportunity, I can bequeath said opportunity to anybody of my choosing.
Nick Webb: Yes, I believe we refer to that as the Sommers Clause.
David Blazenwing holds his forehead, seemingly blocking a headache.
David Blazenwing: Fine, fine, I don't care anymore. Then who is facing the BWF World Champion at WrestleFest?
Katie James: She's standing in the ring right now.
The camera pans back to the ring, where the only person currently inhabiting it is "The Emerald Phoenix" Emily Corlen. The crowd cheers loudly as Emily looks around, stunned.
David Blazenwing: HER?! But... you can't...
Katie smiles.
Katie James: It's done. Just think, Dave, if you do beat Gabe tonight, you get to go one on one AGAIN with Emily at WrestleFest! Remember how well it went the last time?
Now, Emily's grinning in the ring as Blazenwing shifts his attention between both women.
David Blazenwing: I, uh... alright, fine, but both Gabe and I already have matches aside from any potential World Title Match at WrestleFest, so it's only fair Emily does as well. At WrestleFest, you're going to be facing someone you're very familiar with, Emily... and you as well, Katie!
"Bounce" by Sarah Connor hits the BlazenTron and the words "AMAZON PRINCESS" appear as Sarah James, better known to BWF fans as Kirlia Gardevoir, walks onto the stage. She hugs Katie, then points at Emily and motions for her to bring it on. Emily smiles as well in the ring, returning the gesture.
David Blazenwing: And, well, this seems to be as good a time as any to announce the BWF Hall of Fame Class of 2011... first up, the two women right next to me, the first team to be inducted as a unit in the BWF Hall of Fame... Katie and Sarah James!!!
Both Katie and Sarah seem surprised by the announcement. A graphic plays on the screen of both women competing in BWF back in the day, accompanied by a header that reads THE GARDEVOIR SISTERS.
David Blazenwing: Next up, a man who revolutionized the BWF during his time here, and a guy without whom some of the greatest matches in the end of the BWF's original lifespan would not have been possible... Rob Torborg!!!
A short video package of Torborg plays accompanied by his theme "Whatever" by Our Lady Peace, showing his title victories and other assorted big wins. The header reads "THE REAL DEAL" ROB TORBORG.
David Blazenwing: Next, a man who kept the fans laughing at every single turn, and even when he tried to become an evil businessman, the fans couldn't hate him forever. No doubt accompanied by his pet hamster Gary... Wacko Marko!!!
"The Hamster Dance" by Hampton the Hamster starts playing as WACKO MARKO pops up on the BlazenTron and we get to see a bunch of Marko's silly antics from the old BWF days, along with some of his big victories, including holding the BWF Tag Team Titles with Chamelion!
David Blazenwing: And finally, he is a former RXW World Champion... the leader of ADVENT... one of the toughest S.O.B.s to EVER step foot into a BWF ring, and a man who I know Alex Wilkie over there in the announcer's table knows oh so very well... Casey Campbell!!!
"I Don't Care" by I.C.P. kicks in and "THE COOL FACTOR" CASEY CAMPBELL flashes before we watch a highlight reel of Casey's biggest moments in BWF and RXW.
David Blazenwing: Now, the next guy will ONLY be inducted into the Hall of Fame at WrestleFest IF and ONLY IF he can defeat me in our match, coming up next. It's not going to happen, so don't expect him to, but IF he does... then you will bear witness to this man's induction into the BWF Hall of Fame as well... Gabe Shelley!!!
"In Fate's Hands" by Red Jumpsuit Apparatus plays and "MARVEL" GABE SHELLEY flashes before we witness Gabe dominating the BWF in 2011, in addition to his assorted fights and big wins from BWF in the past. A loud "Shelley, Shelley, Shelley" chant breaks out in the arena.
Rayne: With or without Shelley, what a huge BWF Hall of Fame class for 2011!
Alex Wilkie: What the hell? Dave forgot my induction!
Nick Webb: Well, there's always next year!
Rayne: I bet if you'd won the Dragonzord Title earlier tonight, your induction would have been a shoo in!
Alex Wilkie: Shut up, Rayne.
Nick Webb: It's so nice to hear someone else saying that for once.
Alex Wilkie: Anyways, stay tuned, because up next, Gabe Shelley defends the BWF World Championship for what might be the final time on BWF Havok... against David Blazenwing! Don't go anywhere!
The Final Stop!
BWF WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
David Blazenwing vs. Gabe Shelley ©
The camera comes back from commercial and Gabe Shelley is already in the ring. He hands the BWF World Championship off to referee Mike Kosiboski, then stares DB down as the bell rings.
DING! DING! DING!
Shelley and Blazenwing start to circle the ring around each other as the fans quickly break out in a "Shelley, Shelley" chant. The two competitors lock up and Gabe throws Dave into a quick headlock. Blazenwing pushes Shelley off and into the ropes, looking for a hard clothesline. Shelley rolls to avoid the shot and as Blazenwing turns around, he walks right into a dropkick. The fans burst as Gabe stomps a foot on the mat as they clap. Blazenwing climbs to his feet and catches an incoming kick from Shelley and spins him while holding onto his ankle. He pushes the BWF World Champ to the mat onto the injured left knee. Blazenwing wrenches in an anklelock while pushing down on the knee as well. Shelley pushes up with his arms and rolls, causing Blazenwing to flip.
Nick Webb: Blazenwing targeting that knee that Star Struck hurt in last week's main event. Smart strategy from the former seven-time World Champion.
Both men jump to their feet and lock back up. Blazenwing ducks a hard shot from Shelley and ducks behind him, looking for a reverse DDT. Shelley spins out and jumps up and drops Blazenwing with the Cannon Ball, reverse lung blower. Shelley climbs to his feet as the air has left Blazenwing's lungs. He rolls out of the ring and catches his breath as Shelley tugs on the knee brace on his left knee. He stands back away from the ropes and lets Blazenwing get back into the ring. Shelley lunges forward but walks right into a hard European uppercut that sends him stumbling backwards. Shelley spins and grabs his jaw and as he turns around he gets leveled with a spear! Blazenwing jumps to his feet and pulls on his hair and then pounds his chest. Shelley is doubled over on his knees as he's stalked around the ring. The champ is to his feet and turns right into another spear, completing the Broken Bow combo. Blazenwing starts to look around and pulls on the top rope, begging Shelley to get up.
Alex Wilkie: Dave's looking just about ready to end this! I think we're gonna see a Full Effect!
Shelley gets to his feet and Blazenwing charges looking for the Full Effect Superkick! Shelley drops to his knees and it misses. Shelley spins around and pulls Blazenwing to his feet and looks for the reVolt! Blazenwing battles out and falls to his feet and then drops Shelley with a northern lights suplex. Both men get to their feet and Shelley ducks a short-arm clothesline attempt and drops Blazenwing with the pele kick! The fans erupt and Shelley is pumped up. He quickly pulls Blazenwing to his feet only to take him down with a suplex. The assault continues and Blazenwing is pulled up and sent off the ropes. Shelley sends his opponent over his shoulder with a big backdrop. Blazenwing is slow to his feet and as Shelley approaches he's hit with a hard low-blow. The referee yells at Blazenwing and goes to call the match but stops as Blazenwing threatens to fire him.
Rayne: HA! Sometimes, it pays to be the Owner of the company!
The fans start to boo as the Owner pulls Shelley to his feet and sends him into the corner. Blazenwing charges and connects with a big kick to the face of the champion. Shelley slouches over the ropes and gets a hard kick to the midsection. Blazenwing lifts his opponent up and connects with the Slingshot Special, F5 onto the ropes! The fans let out a collective "ooooh" as Gabe bounces off the top ropes and falls to the mat hard. Blazenwing motions for the belt around his waist as Shelley is slow to stand. He gets to his feet and turns around and is blasted with a hard Full Effect! Blazenwing falls to his knees and smiles as he covers.

KICKOUT!
Blazenwing can't believe it and neither can the fans.
Nick Webb: NO WAY! HOW did Shelley kick out of that!?
The jump to their feet as Blazenwing doesn't allow Shelley to even move and throws him into the Shock Lock, crippler crossface. Shelley reaches for the ropes and tries to push off either leg but can't quite make them. The fans try to cheer him on as the referee asks Shelley if he quits. A loud "No!" is heard as Shelley fights towards the ropes. Blazenwing pulls back farther but Shelley is able to lunge one more time and grab the bottom rope as Blazenwing is forced to break.
Alex Wilkie: And somehow, Gabe gets to the ropes! He will not die, and that has been the theme of his Championship reign since claiming the title back in February!
Blazenwing starts to stalk his prey as Shelley turns around, Blazenwing looks for the Blazecution, diamond cutter. Shelley pushes him off and connects with a high German suplex. Both men are down as the referee starts the count.

Shelley jumps to the outside apron and yells out "I'm a bird, motherfucker!" The fans cheer as Shelley springboards into the ring and connects with a legdrop on Blazenwing!
Rayne: Somebody's a fan of Tobuscus!
Shelley goes to pull Blazenwing to his feet but is pulled down into a small package!

Kickout!
Shelley pops to his feet and Blazenwing is right behind. Blazenwing doubles Shelley over with a kick to the gut and starts to look for the Blazen Bomb, jackknife. Blazenwing lifts Shelley up but Shelley rolls behind Blazenwing. Instead of going for a sunset roll up Shelley jumps up and kicks Blazenwing hard in the chest. Blazenwing grabs his chest and climbs to his feet and drops a charging Shelley with a hard knee to the side of the head.
Nick Webb: Blazenwing has been fairly dominant in this match so far, a message I'm sure is being felt loud and clear by the members of Team Maverick!
Shelley falls lifeless to the mat as Blazenwing starts to laugh. The referee checks on Shelley who is motionless on the mat. Blazenwing walks over with a smile on his face and drops down for the cover.

Both men are up and the fans are in a frenzy as Shelley starts to land a series of lefts and rights on his opponent. Shelley is off the ropes and charges at Blazenwing who jumps over him. Shelley stops dead in his tracks as Blazenwing turns and is lifted in the air before getting dropped with the reVolt!

DING DING DING!!!
The fans explode as Shelley gets to his knees and smiles. He points out to them as the referee helps him stand.
WINNER AND STILL BWF WORLD CHAMPION: Gabe Shelley, via Pinfall
Shelley is handed the title and holds it in the air, putting most of his weight on just his right leg. A loud crack echoes the arena as Blazenwing has re-entered the ring with a chair and connects it to the left knee of Shelley who falls down in pain. Blazenwing lands a few hard chair shots to the injured knee and pushes the referee away from him. The fans reign a chorus of boos onto Blazenwing who soaks them up before landing a few stomps on the knee.
Nick Webb: Dave's a sore loser! I know he really wanted to go into WrestleFest as the BWF World Champion, but... wait a minute! Look!
The fans start to cheer as Shelley's eWo World Tag Team Championship partner, Emily Corlen, charges to the ring. Blazenwing turns and swings the chair at her head but misses as Corlen ducks. Blazenwing turns and is leveled with the BOOM! HEADSHOT!, chick kick. Blazenwing falls to the mat as Corlen goes to check on Shelley who gives her a thumbs up and gets to his feet. He starts to climb the ropes and Corlen lifts Blazenwing up onto her shoulders for a Samoan drop. She walks over to Shelley who dives off the ropes and hits a neckbreaker on Blazenwing! The Inside Out!
Rayne: Inside Out! The N-SiderZ signature finishing maneuver!
Corlen grabs the World Title and hands it to Shelley and they raise it in the air. They smile and nod and Shelley goes to pull the title towards him but Corlen doesn't let go. He gives it another tug but her grip is tight. Their hands lower and they get toe to toe and eye to eye as the fans just wait to see what happens. Shelley gives the belt another tug, Corlen tugs it towards her.
Alex Wilkie: And just like that, with the lure of gold, Championship partners can become heated rivals!
Rayne: Considering Emily Corlen just lost out on a chance to win her first World Championship last night on PWA Rampage, you'd have to imagine she's not about to let that opportunity slip through her fingers twice!
Nick Webb: Yes, but can she do what nobody else has been able to do and put down Gabe Shelley once and for all... or is the Emerald Phoenix merely the next victim in the nearly-record setting Championship reign of the marVel? Ladies and gentleman, Championships, rivalries and even the fate of the BWF itself will be decided in a week's time at WrestleFest VI! Do NOT miss a single second of it, live on pay-per-view! For Rayne and Alex Wilkie, I'm Nick Webb... good night from Chicago! We'll see you in Toronto for WrestleFest!
We see one final shot of Shelley and Corlen, face to face in the middle of the ring, neither willing to let go of the BWF World Championship, as Havok fades to the BWF logo, then to black!
