And now, the Blazenwing Wrestling Federation, in association with the Alliance of Wrestling Federations, presents WrestleFest VI... where bodies get broken and dreams come true!
After the opening video package for WrestleFest VI finishes, the camera shift into the Rogers Centre dome in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, where the massive WrestleFest stage erupts with a damn-near twenty second pyro display! As the pyro finishes, the crowd cheers loudly and the camera moves around the dome, showcasing the tens of thousands of fans before settling on the BWF announce team of Nick Webb, Rayne and Alex Wilkie.
Nick Webb: Ladies and gentleman, welcome to the biggest event of the year! Welcome to the sixth edition of WrestleFest! I am Nick Webb, here with my colleagues Rayne and Alex Wilkie and gentleman, we have a hell of a show in store tonight!
Rayne: You're damn right we do, Webb! All BWF Championships are on the line, plus a battle for supremacy, as eight of the AoWF's finest stars will do battle, and at the end of the night, either David Blazenwing will remain in control of his company or Johnny Maverick will be our new supreme overlord!
Alex Wilkie: And in the main event of the show, Gabe Shelley, who has held the BWF World Title since the day the company re-opened, will put that title on the line against a dangerous woman determined to win her first World Title, Emily Corlen! I can't wait! Let's get to the action!
DING DING DING!!!
Scott Benjamin: Ladies and Gentlemen this next match is a 5 on 1 Falls count anywhere HANDICAP MATCH and is for the BWF DRAGONZORD CHAMPIONSHIP! If anyone on Big O's team pins Triad, Big O will be crowned the new Champion, however, if Triad pins anyone on Big O's team Triad will win!
The crowd cheers as the camera pans around the arena.
Alex Wilkie: I gotta hand it to Triad, for a new guy, He's put up with a lot of guff these past weeks, but I don't know if he'll be able to hold out tonight...
Nick Webb: I have to agree, Big O has the numbers in this match...
Rayne: To hell with numbers, Nick! Triad has got all those forms to take care of any of those guys.
Scott Benjamin: Introducing first, weighing in at a combined weight of 995lbs, The team of.. Big O... Stryker Cloud, Hypetreme, Bam and BIOCYDE!!
The five large villains walk out to the stage to Big O's theme, some pyro goes off as they walk down in a v formation towards the ring, and they all spread out at the end of the ramp waiting for Triad to walk his sorry rear out.
Scott Benjamin: And their opponent... weighing in at 210 lbs...
A large roar echoes through the arena, the evil team down at the ring begin to look around, waiting for anything to happen.
Scott Benjamin: From Osaka Japan...
the stage begins to pull apart at the middle, smoke and steam rise up as a burst of light erupts from the Stage, "Regret Nothing" hits the speakers as Triad rises up slowly from the stage, followed by a huge bust of the Dragonzord, its mouth opening and closing as it blows smoke from its mouth and roars, the crowd goes nuts, almost drowning out Scott Benjamin.
Scott Benjamin: THE DRAGONZORD CHAMPION, TRRRRIIIAAADD!!
Triad poses on top of the moving Dragonzord head before he jumps down onto the ramp and runs right into the evil team, the ref calls for the match to begin as Triad spears Big O right into the edge of the ring!! Stryker Cloud rushes to help his friend but Triad feints Stryker's lunge and tosses him right into the Big O!
Rayne: See! What'd I tell you! Even his normal state is too much for those bums!
Alex Wilkie: Triad came here to fight and those numbers aren't doing any good!
Nick Webb: I think they're still confused over where the hell that Dragonzord head came from!
Hypetreme tells Bam and BioCyde to grab Triad and their quick plan is successful as Bam pulls a distracted Triad into a full Nelson, BioCyde grabs his legs but is immediately kicked in the chin, Triad pulls one of his arms loose from Bams full nelson and slips in three coins, the lights go out as the crowd goes crazy, the familiar transformation voice sounds over the speakers "LION! GORILLA! CHEETAH!"
Alex Wilkie: What the eff?
A Gold and Silver explosion go off as the lights come back on, and there standing in a half nelson, is a mixture of the Sagozo and Lion suit of Triad!
Rayne: I didn't know he could do that!
Nick Webb: Is he just making it up as he goes along?
Triad raises his heavy gorilla fists and smashes Bam twice in the face forcing him to let go of the half nelson, he backs up and immediately a double axe handle smash right into Bam's Gut! Bam drops to his knees only to have a high flying Hypetreme use his back as a launch pad to rocket himself into a high cross-body slam right onto Triad! With Triad down Hypetreme hooks his leg quickly, the ref goes for the count!
1!
Triad kicks out and literally tosses Hypetreme off his body!
Alex Wilkie: What's he thinking? One cross-body?
Rayne: Looks like maybe they should've kept the one guy who didn't have so much ring rust.
Nick Webb: Well, it was Phoenix's birthday last night so, maybe he's a little hung over.
Triad gets up and backs up the ramp, the five villains begin to converge on him, they reach the stage slowly as BioCyde rushes in first, he tries to go for a clothesline, but Triad feints him and pushes him off the stage! Big O then sneaks up behind and tries to lock in a headlock, but Triad bends over and flips Big O onto his back, slamming him against the steel stage! While he was bent over though, Stryker Cloud and Hypetreme both wind up and kick him hard off the ramp!
Alex Wilkie: This reminds me of an episode of Kamen Rider OOO.
Rayne: What?
Alex Wilkie: You know, Kamen Rider OOO?
Rayne: Jesus, shut up with the weeaboo crap! I'm trying to watch!
Triad gets up, now having to deal with two highflyers he slips a coin into the middle of his Driver and runs the Driver Ring across it quickly, the lights go out while Stryker Cloud and Hypetreme are in midair! "LION! TIGER! CHEETAH!!" Yellow pyro goes off where Triad is standing and two thuds are heard as the lights come back on, as Stryker Cloud and Hypetreme lay lifeless on the floor, Triad chuckles and looks up back to the ramp, he pulls himself back up only to be pulled into a power bomb position by Bam!
Rayne: Oh man! Bam is looking to finish this!
Nick Webb: Triad had better think of a way to get of it!
Bam pulls Triad up, ready for a huge powerbomb, but Triad begins to hammer down on Bam's head shot after shot after shot! Triad forces himself down onto Bam's shoulders and quickly pulls him around for a sick Hurricanrana! The crowd goes crazy as Triad pulls Bam's leg up for a pin!
1!
2!
The Big O rushes over and boots Triad off with a hard kick to the head!! the crowd boos him as he starts to kick Big O in the head over and over and over! He grabs triad by the head and picks him up, pulling him over to the ring only to toss him under the rope.
Rayne: It looks like Big O doesn't really care that this is a falls count anywhere match.
Nick Webb: I think Big O wants to finish this like a professional and not some yard monkey.
Alex Wilkie: Hey, I take offence to that term.
Triad picks himself up only to be met by a hard Shining wizard from the big O knocking him right back down to the mat, the sickening crack still echoing throughout the arena! The Big O goes for the pin!
1!
2!
Suddenly out of nowhere, the theme song from Power Rangers Zeo hits the BlazenTron! The big O breaks the pin as he goes to the ring rope nearest the ramp and waits for whoever it is to show their face...
Alex Wilkie: What...
Rayne: The...
Nick Webb: Ffff- Wait a second! Who's coming out to the stage!
After about a moment of the theme song playing, The Red Zeo Ranger from the hit series Power Ranger Zeo comes out from behind the curtain!! The crowd isn't sure what to make of this, but Big O knows exactly what's happening and calls for his boys to attack the lone ranger, Of course, BioCyde and Bam rush over to attack him but are quickly dispatched with a couple well placed kicks!
Alex Wilkie: I have no idea what's going on.
Rayne: This really doesn't make any sense.
The Lone Ranger rushes down to the ring, the face down the Big O, and in the confusion the big O gets rolled up into a school boy by Triad!! The ref drops for the count!
1!
2!
3!!!
DING DING DING!!
Scott Benjamin: Here is your winner and still the BWF DRAGONZORD CHAMPION!.... TRRRRRIIIAAAADDD!!!
The crowd goes nuts as Triad rolls out of the ring, the ref raises his hand in the air and hands Triad his Title.
Alex Wilkie: So was that distraction set up by Triad?
Nick Webb: No way, he's a pretty stand-up guy! Bushido and shit, he wouldn't do that..
Big O goes for a microphone literally frothing at the mouth in rage.
Big O: You think you're sooooo COOL don't you Triad! Well let me tell you what! It doesn't matter if you won tonight, because me and my guys are going to tear you and your new friend a new asshole!
The Big O drops the microphone and rushes out of the ring, followed by his four other guys rushing down from the ramp! The Red Zeo ranger quickly makes work of Hypetreme and Stryker Cloud while Triad drops Bam and BioCyde, it was a fantastic battle and will probably be talked about for ages. Triad and the Red Zeo ranger both converge on the Big O, ready to demolish him, however before Triad can go first, the Red Zeo ranger stops him and pushes him back, he then picks up Stryker cloud and throws him down to the Big O.
Alex Wilkie: what's going on now? I can't see!
Rayne: Pfft, use your monitor rookie!
The Red Zeo ranger backs up and pulls off his helmet to reveal none other than... The Big O?!
The crowd pulls a collective "Huh?" as do all three of the commentators...
Big O reaches down for the microphone the other Big O dropped and raises it to his mouth.
Big O: This charade stops here...
He reaches down to the Big O and pulls off a fake goatee, and then pulls off Stryker clouds mask to reveal none other than... The Executioner as Big O... and Adriana Garcia as Stryker Cloud?
Alex Wilkie: I..I mean.. I what... huh?!
Nick Webb: for once, I am at a loss for words..
Big O: You see, ever since BWF reopened, these two were denied contracts... so they kidnapped me and Stryker Cloud and assumed our identities...
Triad looks on confused as all hell, as does every other person in the audience.
Big O: I mean come on? Wasn't it obvious? The only way I could get that buff is with extensive amounts of steroid abuse...
Alex Wilkie: Soo... this whole time... Triad was fighting Adriana Garcia.. and the Executioner...That makes no goddamn sense...
Rayne: Well hey Alex, Sometimes life is like a Banana, Red on the outside, crunchy and juicy when you bite into it...
Alex Wilkie: That sounds like an Apple..
Rayne: Right.. because life isn't always the way it seems...
Nick Webb: ....Lets continue on with WrestleFest, hopefully the rest of the show won't be as... strange.
Set in Stone
The camera moves backstage, where Matt Stone is seen standing in front of the WrestleFest logo, holding up his BWF United States Championship.
Matt Stone: So here we are, the big night has finally arrived and what have I got myself into? Well I've got, once again, Finale for the United States Championship. Well Finale, I've beaten you twice now, plus eliminated you from a battle royal, why haven't you got the hint yet? You can't beat me, you couldn't even muster up the courage to come out last week and try and convince others what I already know to be false. You can try and muster up the courage to come on camera and say things are going to be different this time, you can try and persuade others that you're a different man than last week, but you know in your heart of hearts that you just can't get passed me, and you won't shut me up.
Matt smirks.
Matt Stone: So Butcher, you had a nice thing going here in the BWF until I showed up, didn't you? Everyone respected you, thought you were the break out star in this company and you were undefeated. Then you had to open your mouth. You pissed off the wrong guy Finale and now you've been paying for it for over a month now. A month ago I beat you and took this United States championship from your grasp, I ended your undefeated streak and I set you on the biggest spiral in wrestling history since Johnny Maverick won the Rebel World title. Since then, I have defended this championship twice against the worst of the worst, a blind man and once again against you.
Matt holds up two fingers to the camera.
Matt Stone: "But you won by count out, that's not a good win" is I'm sure what you're going to say, but I'll be the first to tell you that was sweetest of the sweet for me, Butcher. Not only did you lose that match, but you just plain old got out smarted. I am the superior athlete Finale, I'm the bigger draw and quite frankly, I'm better looking as well. Look at me and you will see the personification of a true champion, a man with true class and substance. I look at you and what do I see? Nothing but a common punk, this business is full of them and none of them have been able to hold a candle to anything I've done in this industry. Two short years in the PWA and I'm already in their Hall of Fame. By WrestleFest VII I will be in the BWF Hall of Fame, and this win right here will help solidify that. Long story short Butcher, I've beaten you before and I'll do it again.
Matt nods matter-of-factly before continuing.
Matt Stone: But things are a little different this time, aren't they Finale? This time we have a bigger stage, the biggest the BWF has to offer and while there is some cluster fuck that might be gaining all the attention, I assure you that Matt Stone/Finale will be the main attraction. Why am I so sure of this after soundly besting Finale three times? That's simple; this isn't an ordinary match, no this time we face off in the confines of the Hell in a Cell structure. Now some people might say that the unforgiving steel structure is not where I'm going to feel comfortable, but those people just don't know who the fuck I am.
The smirk disappears as Stone glares into the camera, a serious look on his face.
Matt Stone: I make jokes, I play games and people just think I'm one big joke. Well let me tell you something Finale, I can get as nasty and extreme as anyone in the back. Look no further than the Last Man Standing match I defeated Simon Kalis in to see just how far I'm willing to go to get what I want. To me, this match isn't about the United States championship, no, this is worth something far more important. The most important thing to me, in fact. Come Summer Sizzler I have a match with Matthew Engel for the PWA Heavyweight Championship, and the more momentum I can get, the more big match experience that I can earn, the better and better my chances become of walking out of Summer Sizzler as the World Champion. Something I've been trying to get since I came to this industry over two years ago. Sure, I've never been in one of these matches before, I'm pretty sure you haven't either, so the true thing to watch for won't be which of us is the stronger competitor, which of us is the quickest or smartest, no what we'll need to see Finale is which one of us will snap first.
The look on Stone's face twists into an almost sadistic smile.
Matt Stone: Tick tock... that's the sound of the clock counting down on your days here in the BWF. Once you lose to me for the third time Finale, I know you're just going to pack your bags and skip town. I can't blame you, cause if you chose to stick around you'll be relegated to the bottom of the bottom. I hope you enjoy the company of Xander Strife and Stryker Cloud because those guys are going to be your brethren in the locker room. Say hi to them, for me. If they're looking for some serious work, they can carry my bags. Carry bags, by the way, is something you should learn how to do Finale, because all that baggage you've been carrying around since I beat you has really slowed you down. There's a simple way to erase all of that baggage though, and something you will have to do if you want to have even an inkling of hope against me at WrestleFest. You and I both know what that is, and I've been challenging people to do it for months now, yet here I stand still with championships in tact. Finale, if you want any hope of walking out of that structure with the United States Championship, you're going to have to shut. Me. Up!
Matt Stone walks to the camera and puts the United States championship in front of the frame as he says his last piece.
Matt Stone: This is all you can ever hope to accomplish Finale, but even this is out of your reach now. People will tell you to reach for the stars, but I won't. Count the stars, Finale. They'll be circling our head while my hand is raised in victory. Come WrestleFest, the Butcher will be the one left covered in blood and the Cure will be one step closer to the World title. Hell in a Cell Finale, let's get dangerous.
Stone pats the United States Title on his shoulder, and then walks off as the camera cuts back to the ring.
DING DING DING!!!
Scott Benjamin: Ladies and gentleman, the following tag team contest is scheduled for ONE fall and it is for the BWF Tag Team Championships! Introducing first, the challengers... weighing in tonight at a combined 433 pounds... Andy Sensation and Star Diamond... STAR STRUCK!!!
The lights go dim and the crowd awaits the next person to step though the curtain. "That's Entertainment" by Powerman 5000 hits the PA! Star Diamond steps though to be greeted with boos. He walks down the ramp flipping fans off. With his brother Andy Sensation right behind him, doing about the same. Star stops and looks at some of the fans, and dusts himself off. He slides into the ring jumps up on to the middle rope and holds his hand up high giving a shout out to the crowd as he turns around and begins to wait for the bell. His brother Andy slides in the ring behind him and the two taunt the crowd together as their music fades.
Scott Benjamin: And their opponents, they are the current and reigning BWF Tag Team Champions... weighing in tonight at a combined 357 pounds... "The marVel" Gabe Shelley and "The Rainbow Angel" Xaria Linette... THE ANGELIC MARVELS!!!
"In Fate's Hands" by Red Jumpsuit Apparatus rolls throughout the arena as Gabe Shelley and Xaria Linette walk onto the stage, posing for the fans. Xaria's Tag Title is strapped around her waist and Gabe's is over his shoulder, his waist covered by the BWF World Championship. They nod to one another, then race down the ramp, sliding into the ring at the same time. They then pose for the fans as their music fades.
DING!
Gabe and Star, no strangers to one another, start this match out as they tie up in the center of the ring. Star rolls behind Gabe and tries to put the Champ in a headlock, but Gabe flips Star over his head, sending him flying onto the mat on his back. Gabe smirks as he pulls Star to his feet, but Star cracks him with a couple of punches before whipping him into the ropes. As Gabe comes back, Star leapfrogs over him, then turns on a dime and jumps up, catching Shelley with his signature leaping kick to the back of the head! Gabe goes down and Star covers!
1!
Kickout!
Gabe kicks out right before the two count.
Nick Webb: It's gonna take a lot more than that to put Gabe Shelley down!
Star pulls Gabe to his feet and punches him a few more times for good measure, but before he can do anything else, Gabe jumps up and hits Star with an enziguri! Star falls to the mat and Gabe stumbles over to his corner, tagging in Xaria.
Rayne: The Rainbow Angel is in the match! Star's in for it now after the antics he and his brother have been pulling on Xaria over the last few weeks!
Star slowly rises to his feet and sees Xaria standing above him, watching. His eyes widen and he stumbles backwards into his own corner, where he tags in Andy before rolling out of the ring. Andy enters the ring and goes nose to nose with Xaria, saying something inaudibly as Xaria watches on, silent. Finally, she balls up her hand into a fist and raises it in the air, causing Andy to flinch instinctually... but without warning, Xaria drops to her knees before falling onto her back! Gabe, the fans and Andy all seem confused as to what just happened as Andy drops down and hooks the leg!
1!
2!
3!
DING DING DING!!!
Scott Benjamin: Ladies and gentleman, here are your winners and the NEW BWF Tag Team Champions... Star Diamond and Andy Sensation... STAR STRUCK!!!
"That's Entertainment" by Powerman 5000 hits the BlazenTron as Andy seems absolutely flabbergasted at this turn of events. Gabe, on the ring apron, shares the same look that Andy does. Star rolls back into the ring and half tackles, half drags his brother out of the ring as the referee runs around to them and hands them the BWF Tag Team Titles. They celebrate going up the ramp as Xaria stands up in the ring, glaring at Gabe. He enters the ring and questions her somewhat angrily, but Xaria merely looks away before exiting the ring and heading up the ramp. The referee hands Gabe his BWF World Championship and leaves him alone in the ring, still confused as to what the hell just happened.
Nick Webb: What did we just witness?
Rayne: I'm not sure, but I think Xaria just laid down for Andy Sensation! But why?
Alex Wilkie: Gabe doesn't look very happy at Xaria more or less costing him his BWF Tag Team Title, but he's still World Champion, and that's all that matters! The question is, will he STILL be World Champion at the end of tonight's main event?
Rising Above
The camera moves backstage to the same WrestleFest logo Matt Stone was standing in front of before, only this time, we find "The Emerald Phoenix" Emily Corlen.
Emily Corlen: Just a little over a week after my very first World Championship opportunity slipped through my grasp thanks to a no contest ruling, I've got another chance to stamp my name in the history books... this time in the main event of BWF's biggest show of the year. The venue, Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The event? WrestleFest VI. The opponent? My co-holder of the eWo World Tag Team Championships and one of the most dominant Champions in the history of the BWF, The marVel Gabe Shelley.
Emily grins.
Emily Corlen: This isn't gonna be easy. It never is. It never should be.
She paces for a moment before looking back to the camera and continuing.
Emily Corlen: In BWF's history, there are only a handful of people who have ever competed for a World Championship at WrestleFest. Brian Fenris, X, Ghost, Toco, Adriana Garcia, The Big O, "Ice" Hensley, Captain Marticus, The Legend, Mark McNasty, The Executioner and Chamelion. Twelve individuals at five WrestleFests. Two more names will be added to that list after tonight, Gabe Shelley and Emily Corlen.
Emily closes in on the camera.
Emily Corlen: Gabe, tonight, you and I are going to lock up in the center of that ring and tear the roof off of the Rogers Centre. Right now, the 'big match' on everyone's minds might be the big eight-man tag team match featuring my fiancee, but you and I both know that the only match the people are gonna be talking about at the end of WrestleFest will be ours. The night when a young girl with aspirations to be the very best at what she does ascends to greatness and makes her dreams come true. The night when Emily Corlen becomes a World Champion for the very first time.
Emily looks up for a moment, imagining her hand lifted high as the new BWF World Champion.
Emily Corlen: WrestleFest is a night where history is meant to be made, Gabe. And history will be made. You're a good friend and a trusted ally and no matter what happens tonight, The N-SiderZ will continue to dominate wherever we go... but when that bell rings, all bets are off. I'm not gonna take it easy on you and I know for damn sure you're not about to take it easy on me. Just trust me when I tell you that I'm no Masakazu, Jacob Collins, Star Diamond or even Alexander O'Ryan. I'm a whole different kind of beast. A beast who will be leaving WrestleFest ten pounds heavier. And I'm not talking about hitting catering.
Emily grins widely.
Emily Corlen: My name is Emily Corlen... I am the baddest bitch in pro wrestling today and the next BWF World Heavyweight Champion... and I approve this message. Now, if you'll excuse me... I have a date with my best friend's sister.
She stretches her arms out like wings as the fans cheer, and then walks off as the camera cuts to the ring.
DING DING DING!!!
Scott Benjamin: Ladies and gentleman, the following contest is scheduled for ONE fall! Introducing first, she hails from Panama City, Florida... weighing in tonight at 130 pounds... she is the former "Amazon Princess" Kirlia Gardevoir... she is SARAH "SHOOTER" JAMES!!!
"Bounce" by Sarah Connor hits the BlazenTron and the arena turns a hue of crimson as Sarah James steps out onto the stage to a mixed reaction. She rolls her head and cracks her knuckles, then heads for the ring, sliding inside. She runs the ropes, and then throws a few punches as the music fades.
Nick Webb: Sarah James is a former two-time BWF World Champion, among many other accolades amassed in BWF over the years. She's also getting inducted into the BWF Hall of Fame later tonight and I'm sure she would love to put the exclamation point on her BWF career with a win here at WrestleFest VI!
Rayne: There's no doubt in my mind that Sarah James is one of the most formidable females to ever come out of the old BWF, but tonight, she's facing the newest "formidable female" in the company, and a woman who might be the World Champion after tonight's pay-per-view concludes!
The lights in the arena cut to black as the intro to "Firebird" by Dreamtale hits the P.A. As the crowd cheers loudly, green strobe lights fill the arena and "The Emerald Phoenix" Emily Corlen slowly rises up through the stage, her arms outstretched akin to wings. She sweeps her arms over her head and closes them around her mouth, screaming loudly before a single blast of pyro goes off behind her.
Scott Benjamin: And her opponent, she hails from Los Angeles, California by way of Rockford, Illinois...
The strobe lights slow down as Emily begins making her way down the ramp. By the time she reaches ringside, the strobe lights have completely stopped and emerald colored spotlights have begun swirling around the crowd and ring.
Scott Benjamin: She is the Emerald Phoenix...
After making her way around the ring once, Emily hoists herself onto the apron and enters the ring through the first and second ropes.
Scott Benjamin: She is EMILY CORLEN!!!
Emily makes her way to all four corners of the ring, climbing up each and posing for the fans. As the lights return to normal and the music fades, Emily slowly paces around the canvas, glancing out to the still-cheering crowd and smirking.
Alex Wilkie: Emily Corlen, very popular here amongst the fans in Toronto. This is the city where she made her eWo debut several weeks ago and she's been dominating there like she hopes to dominate tonight.
Nick Webb: She's definitely on the right track to domination of the BWF, but she's got two mammoth challenges in store tonight and she's going to find that neither Gabe Shelley nor Sarah James are going to go down without one hell of a fight!
DING!
The bell rings as Emily and Sarah, former stable mates in Bound by Blood, circle one another in the ring before locking up. Emily is quick to overpower Sarah, shoving her into the ropes and forcing the referee to break the hold. As the referee pulls the women apart, Sarah swings at Emily, catching her in the face!
Nick Webb: Sarah James, of course, known for her quick strikes, among other things.
As Emily stumbles backwards, Sarah grabs her and Irish whips Emily - or attempts to, but Emily refuses to budge! She uses her power to pull Sarah towards her, then slides behind Sarah and locks her arms in position for The Catalyst (Glam Slam)!
Alex Wilkie: If Emily hits this, this match will be over in the blink of an eye!
Sarah, sensing the urgency of the situation, quickly struggles to move forward, wrapping her left leg around the middle and bottom rope before Emily can lift her. Again, the referee forces Emily to let go, and this time, Emily steps far back to avoid another cheap shot. Sarah steps back into the ring and charges Emily, but the Emerald Phoenix catches her and hoists her up onto her right shoulder before charging for the nearest corner and planting Sarah upside down, back first right into the turnbuckles! With Sarah hanging, Emily grabs Sarah's hair, and then lifts up before yanking her off of the corner and causing her to slam hard into the mat below!
Rayne: Wow, Emily Corlen is definitely showcasing her strength here tonight against the former BWF World Champion Sarah James. Imagine if she can pull off this type of power play against Gabe later tonight, we just might have a new World Champion!
In the ring, Emily pulls Sarah to her feet, and then whips her across the ring into the opposite corner. She grins, and then charges at Sarah, but Sarah sees her coming and leaps up, cracking Emily in the jaw with a dropkick! As Emily stumbles, Sarah grabs her and tosses her shoulder first into the hole between the second and third turnbuckles, sending her shoulder right into the cold steel ring post! The crowd "oohs" audibly as Sarah grabs Emily from behind and rolls her up into a school boy!
1!
2!
Kickout!
Emily breaks the pin as the crowd cheers loudly. The cheering is silenced quickly as Sarah grabs Emily's throat and locks in her Deathknell (Gogoplata) submission finisher! Emily is close enough to the ropes, however, that she hooks her left leg around the bottom rope and the referee forces Sarah to break the submission at the four count.
Nick Webb: Sarah not taking any chances here tonight against her former stable mate.
Alex Wilkie: Can you blame her? This is WrestleFest! This is not the time to start taking chances, if you see an opening, you go for it, and a win here against the #1 Contender to the BWF World Title would put Sarah back on the map for title contention herself!
Back in the ring, Sarah starts pulling Emily to her feet, but Emily punches Sarah in the gut, doubling her back. She hits a second punch to the gut, followed by a fist to Sarah's head, but stumbles, allowing Sarah an opening to catch Emily on the back of the head with a forearm smash. As Emily drops to her knees, Sarah pulls Em's head back and cinches in a standing dragon sleeper in the middle of the ring!
Rayne: They call Sarah the "Shooter", because she brings these MMA submission type moves to the ring! She knows how to make you tap out from any position you can think of, and if that's not enough, she can STILL drop you with her Bleeding Rose impact move. Sarah's the total package, and she's showing the BWF audience and Emily Corlen tonight that she definitely still has it.
As the crowd starts clapping for Emily to fight the submission, Sarah leaps onto Em's back, locking her legs in a scissors around Em's chest to pull back harder on the move. Emily stumbles to her feet, fighting the submission, and finally is able to back Sarah into the corner, breaking the hold! Her happiness is short lived, though, as Sarah runs forward and catches Emily across the back of the head with a second vicious forearm, taking the Emerald Phoenix to her knees.
Nick Webb: Sarah James showing no mercy here tonight!
Sarah flexes for the crowd, getting a smattering of boos and some cheers, then goes for the same dragon sleeper she had Emily in before. This time, however, Emily is ready and counters with an elbow to Sarah's jaw! Sarah stumbles back for a moment and as she goes to grab Emily again, Em lifts Sarah onto her shoulders, then holds her up high above her head before slamming her hard to the mat with a nasty gorilla press slam! The crowd cheers loudly as Emily grins, holding the back of her head.
Alex Wilkie: And just like that, Emily Corlen is back in this match! The momentum can change that quickly!
Emily pulls Sarah to her feet and Sarah punches, causing Emily to stumble. Emily punches back, and the two begin trading blows before Emily gets the upper hand by slapping both hands around Sarah's neck! The crowd cheers as Emily lifts Sarah up, and then slams her back first into the canvas with the Seventh Heaven (Two-handed Chokeslam)! Emily covers!
1!
2!
Kickout!
At the last second, Sarah gets her shoulder up, and Emily seems surprised.
Rayne: Looks like Emily expected that to be enough to win, but the former Kirlia Gardevoir is no pushover!
Emily pulls Sarah to her feet, and Sarah headbutts Emily, causing her to stumble back. Sarah smirks before running to the ropes. She bounds off of them, then comes back and goes for a leaping clothesline, but Emily dodges the attack, sending Sarah shoulder-first into the mat! Emily wastes no time in hooking Sarah's arms on the mat, then deadlifting her off of the canvas into the air... holding her up for a few moments... and slamming her into the center of the ring with authority with The Catalyst (Glam Slam)! The crowd cheers loudly as Emily rolls Sarah onto her back and hooks the leg!

DING DING DING!!!
Scott Benjamin: Ladies and gentleman, here is your winner... The Emerald Phoenix... EMILY CORLEN!!!
Alex Wilkie: It only takes one move, ladies and gentlemen! And what a move it was!
"Firebird" by Dreamtale hits the BlazenTron as Emily unhooks the leg and stands up, still holding the back of her head, but smiling. Katie James gingerly heads down to ringside, sliding into the ring and checking on her sister as Emily watches.
Nick Webb: It's well documented that Emily and Katie are best friends; this should be an interesting exchange.
Katie slowly pulls Sarah to her feet, and then both women turn their glance to Emily. Emily just smiles and shrugs, then exchanges a few inaudible words with the James Sisters. They do the same, and after a tense stare down, all three women hug in the center of the ring to a huge pop from the crowd!
Rayne: Both Gabe Shelley and Emily Corlen will be meeting later tonight with the BWF World Championship on the line. History is firmly in the corner of the Champion, but with Gabe just losing the Tag Team Titles to Star Struck and Emily defeating Sarah James, there's little doubt who the momentum lies with heading into tonight's main event for the title!
Nick Webb: That's still to come tonight, and we have a lot more WrestleFest coming your way from Toronto! This night's just getting started!
Written in the Stars
We join our new BWF Tag Team Champions Star Struck as they celebrate in their locker room. Star cracks open a large bottle of champagne and begins pouring it into glasses. Heather Diamond is jumping up and down in excitement for her husband and brother in law. Andy with gold in hand still can't believe that he is holding it after all this time. Star hands him a glass of champagne and he downs it quick. Andy smiles as he looks at his brother and nods.
Andy Sensation: About time bro.
Star Diamond: Totally broseph.
Andy Sensation: Next, the U.S. and the World title right?
Star Diamond: You know it!
They high five as Heather grabs a glass and pours herself some champagne.
Star Diamond: WOW! Hey what do you think you are doing minor!
Star grabs the glass and hands it to Andy, who shrugs and works on drinking that one.
Heather Diamond: Oh come on, I can't have just a little.
Star Diamond: If you want me to go to prison then sure go ahead…
Star grabs on to Heather and gives her a big kiss. Andy walks into the hall way and shuts the door behind him; still keeping an eye on Xaria.
Andy Sensation: Hey, um...thanks for that in there...kind of didn't expect that one.
Andy awkwardly scratches the back of his head and puts on a big smile, because he isn't sure what else to say.
Xaria looks back at Andy and offers him a weak smile. Despite the loss, she still seems upset over what happened after the match-- even if it was done by her own free will.
Xaria Linette: O-oh, it's alright. I figured it was the best thing to do... the pain was just too much to deal with, so I let it go. Anyways, I'm glad you and your brother are happy...
She takes a deep breath, lets it out slowly and lowers her head. Her eyes start to well up with tears.
Andy Sensation: Hey now...don't do that...
Andy looks at her as she can't help but let her tears out. He slowly grabs her and gives her a hug.
Andy Sensation: Hey, it's alright...let it out.
Xaria Linette: I'm sorry... I guess I'm still upset about what Gabe's been doing...
She quietly sobs against his chest and wraps her arms around him in return, holding close. For some reason, she looks very comfortable in his grasp.
Xaria Linette: ...for the second time tonight, you're taking care of me... why?
Andy Sensation: Well, I don't know I guess I like you...I mean even though most people think Star and I are the bad guys, we are genuinely nice guys. We want the people around us to be happy too...of course, I want to help you since times are rough and all.
The Rainbow Angel tilts her head up and stares at the Sensational One, a little surprised but in a semi-pleasant manner. Her eyes shimmer for a moment before she draws a hand back and instead places it on his cheek.
Xaria Linette: ...you really are a nice guy, monsieur.
With that said, she pulls her hand away from his cheek and replaces it with her lips for a soft kiss.
Andy Sensation: Thanks...hey, how about you and I go get some dinner; get your mind off of things and what not.
She gives a small smile and nods, they turn around away from the camera and head down the hall way as our scene fades.
Nick Webb: Well we've had a hell of a night so far, as WrestleFest VI has been BWF's most awesome show to date.
Rayne: And it's only going to get better, Nick! The next match is possibly the biggest of the night! For months, Finale was unstoppable, untouchable, and just plain dominant. But after a few months, Matt Stone entered the scene and caused a stir.
Nick Webb: It wasn't long before Stone challenged Finale for the BWF United States Championship and handed Finale his first loss. Finale finally managed to get a rematch, but fell short as Matt Stone clung to the title on a technicality. Tonight, they have one final battle for the belt in the most defining of matches.
Alex Wilkie: HELL IN A CELL!!!
DING DING DING!!!
Scott Benjamin: Ladies and gentlemen! The following contest is a Hell in a Cell Match scheduled for one fall, and it is for the BWF United States Championship! Introducing first!
Say whoa (whoa)
The more I feed it (whoa)
The more I need it (whoa)
Whoa
You say whoa
Whoa is me
I'm so whoa
Matt Stone comes out from the back to a chorus of boos. He struts down the ramp towards the ring, wearing his patterned hoodie with a large Maple Leaf on the back. He threatens to hit a member of the crowd who was holding up a "Matt Stone sucks" sign and just walks on.
Scott Benjamin: He is the current BWF United States Champion! From Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, he is the Common Enemy, MATT STONE!!!
Say whoa (whoa)
The more I feed it (whoa)
The more I need it (whoa)
Whoa
You say whoa
Whoa is me
I'm so whoa
Alex Wilkie: Not gonna lie, I thought Stone would get a huge crowd reaction being here in Ontario, his home province, but it looks like even Canadians don't like him!
Nick Webb: I think they're just far bigger fans of Finale than they are of Stone.
Matt gets on the apron and gets inside the ring, heading straight to a corner and mounts the middle turnbuckle raising his hands. "I'm the best there is!" He shouts out over the loud jeers being rained down on him. He shakes his head to their reaction. "You don't deserve to see me!" He shouts out getting down and taking off the hoodie. Matt gets ready for his opponent, bouncing off the ropes to loosen up as his music fades away.
Scott Benjamin: And introducing his opponent!
The opening chords of "Better Off Dead" by Death From Above 1979 cue up and as soon as the song really kicks in pyro explodes with a blinding white flash on the stage. Purple and green lights lay down over the crowd and everyone's attention is to the stage. By the time the smoke settles Finale is at the top of the ramp with Ramona Holiday at his side.
Scott Benjamin: He is the Buffalo Butcher, from Buffalo, New York, FINALE!!!
He walks down to the ring with a focused expression as Ramona slaps hands with the fans. Finale enters the ring and jogs around a bit while looking into the crowd, focused on the task at hand.
Rayne: This looks to be a hell of a match, between two of the top talents in the BWF! LET'S GET IT GOING!!
The cell begins to lower on the two men, as they look to each other awaiting the bell. As the cell hits the floor, the two start scuffling forward, but no bell.
Rayne: What the hell?
Nick Webb: There's no official! Where is the referee for this match??
Rayne: You're telling me the match of the night isn't going to happen because there's no referee??
Alex Wilkie: Great. Another match ruined by shenanigans... how are we...
As though an answer to the people's prayers, David Blazenwing steps out, mic in hand. He seems to grin as the crowd hushes.
David Blazenwing: Matt! I have a fun announcement. As some of you may have heard, I had an epic three-title match going down tonight. It was supposed to be the BWF United States Championship, the PWA Intercontinental Championship... and the AoWF King Of Extreme Championship.
Nick Webb: King of... BUT THAT MEANS...
David Blazenwing: But since Mr. Stone down there didn't have the balls to put up or shut up, I decided to allow the AoWF King Of Extreme to have some time on the show anyways. So ladies and gentlemen, I am proud to introduce the SPECIAL GUEST REFEREE for this match, YOUR AoWF KING OF EXTREME CHAMPION, LUCIOUS STARR!!!
The crowd is a mix of cheers and boos as Lucious steps out, his KoE Championship draped over the left sleeve of his striped shirt. He shakes David's hand and heads to the ring, waving to Stone and Finale. He circles the structure, placing the KoE Title by the announce table, then heads into the Cell. He slams the door shut behind him, officials running in to lock it shut. Lucious slides into the ring, looking to each man. Stone and Finale are cautious, unsure of what to think.
Rayne: Holy shit! Lucious Starr must have signed that contract JUST for this honor! Which means he's wanting to do this match, and Stone is a target!
Alex Wilkie: Possibly, but I'm not so sure. Remember, Lucious and Finale still have a battle going over the KoE Championship. Honestly, I think he might just call this thing down the middle.
Rayne: Unless one of them starts with him...
Lucious calls for the bell as Finale and Stone circle the ring, glancing between each other and Lucious. Lucious steps to the side, Finale and Stone turning their attention to each other. Stone stretches his arms out wide, yelling "I'm the Best There Is!" as Finale shakes his head. Finale steps up, Matt taking a defensive position, Finale grinning. Stone is caught off-guard, lowering his defense... and Finale shoots a hook to Stone's jaw. Stone is knocked back a step, looking shocked towards Finale. he turns to Lucious, Starr shrugging. Stone comes back, firing a left hook at Finale, who blocks. Finale throws a left of his own, Stone blocking this time, throwing a kick to the abs. Finale reaches down to grab Matt's leg, but Stone launches forward with a Thesz Press. A flurry of fists into the face of Finale, and Finale struggles to cover himself. Stone throws a fist at Finale's nose, but Finale blocks. Finale throws his legs up, wrapping them around Stone and flipping him backwards. Finale mounts Stone now, throwing a flurry of fists into the Common Enemy's face. Stone struggles, pushing Finale off. Stone tries to roll up to nail Finale again, but Finale throws an elbow to Stone's throat. Stone falls back, clutching his throat. Finale starts in, but is stopped by Lucious. Finale looks upset, Lucious holding one hand up as a sign of caution, then checks on Stone. Stone manages to his knees, rubbing his throat. Lucious nods, giving Finale the okay to go ahead.
Nick Webb: Now that's respect. Lucious pausing that attack for a moment to make sure Stone can keep going.
Rayne: Or hoping to see that Matt had stopped breathing.
Finale grabs Matt's hair, throwing a fist to the middle of Stone's forehead. Stone recoils, Finale throwing another fist to the forehead. He continues in this manner as Stone's arms flail, looking for something to get him out. Finale draws back, yelling as he brings down another fist... Stone throws his arms up! Finale's neck is caught... JAWBREAKER!!! Finale drops back to the mat, holding his jaw as Matt sits up, rubbing his forehead. Finale starts to a knee, holding his jaw as he flexes it around. Matt starts to his feet, still a bit woozy, surveying the ring. Finale gets to his feet, facing away from Stone as he stands. Stone charges up as Finale turns, knocking the Buffalo Butcher back on his ass with a shoulder block. Finale rolls backwards, finding himself back on his feet just long enough for Stone to nail him from behind with an elbow, grabbing Finale around the waist and launching him with a german suplex. Finale finds himself on the mat as Stone stalks the Butcher, a devilish grin. He poses behind Finale, his leg shaking in anticipation.
Rayne: Stone is going to put this away early with Kneel Before Zod!!
Alex Wilkie: And there goes Finale's last shot.
Finale stirs, starting to one knee. Matt twists, ready to launch a kick. Finale starts to both knees, Stone launching out... KNEEL BEFORE ZOD... NO!
Nick Webb: What the hell?! That's not right!!
Rayne: Lucious just caught Matt's foot, and saved Finale!!
Stone looks shocked and angered at Lucious, who releases Stone's foot. He goes to check on Finale, but Stone grabs Lucious' collar. He yells at the bigger man, Lucious raising a hand. He shakes his shirt, signifying his place in the match, and threatens Stone. Stone thinks for a moment, roughly releasing Starr. Lucious checks on Finale, who is on his feet, still favoring his jaw. Finale motions that he's fine, and Lucious allows the match to go on.
Alex Wilkie: Let me get this straight. Lucious just stopped the match twice... just to check the competitors...
Rayne: Brilliant! He's making sure this thing keeps going!
Finale and Stone lock up, each trying to shove the other back. They find themselves in a stalemate, though neither releases. Stone seems to fall back a step, Finale starting forward. Stone uses Finale's momentum to duck around him, nailing a quick drop kick. He kip-ups as Finale stumbles into the ropes, Stone charging up for a clothesline. Finale looks back just in time to duck, lifting Stone up and throwing him with a back-body drop. Stone flies over the ropes, landing hard against the cell. Finale drops to the mat, rolling out of the ring after the Common Enemy. Stone starts to his feet, Finale charging up and sandwiching Stone between himself and the cell with a body splash. Stone crumbles to the ground, Finale spinning him over and making the cover. He waits for the sound of hand slapping floor, but doesn't hear it. Stone kicks out, Finale looking up to the ring to see Lucious... signing autographs??
Nick Webb: What the hell?! Lucious is signing autographs through the cell when he should be officiating this match. Where the hell is his sense of duty??
Rayne: Ha. I like it. I mean, just think about it, he stops Finale from choking out Stone, stops Stone from knocking Finale out cold, and now he's going to make sure they go through hell to get the title. Nice!
Finale shakes his head, turning his attention back to Stone, who is using the cell to get to his feet. Finale steps back, charging up for another body splash... Stone drops! Finale hits the cell face-first! Finale comes off the cell, turning around... C-c-c-c-c-combo Breaker!! Stone with the cover!!
Alex Wilkie: Stone has the upper hand!!
Rayne: HA! And Lucious has some chick!
Lucious is signing a female fan's... um, northern side epidermis... not noticing Stone in the cover. Stone releases the cover, starting towards Starr. Starr is spun around, raising an eyebrow.
Matt Stone: What the hell are you doing?!
Lucious Starr: Well, for those of us who got past the third grade, I'm using this pen to sign my name onto paper, cups, skin and other memorabilia so that they have something to show their friends and family.
Matt Stone: Dumbass! You're an official! Officiate!
Lucious Starr: Fucknut! You're an idiot! Watch your ass!
Matt looks confused, turning around... enziguri from Finale! Stone falls, Finale grinning at Lucious. Lucious shakes his head, turning back to the fans outside the cell. Finale picks Matt up to his feet, slamming his face into the cell. Matt stumbles back, Finale grabbing his arm and whipping him up again. Matt plants his feet, charging as Finale is caught off guard and slamming him into the cell. Finale stumbles off, Stone nailing a picture-perfect dropkick, sending Finale back into the cell. Stone jumps up on a rebounding Finale, looking for the C-c-c-c-combo Breaker! NO! Finale throws his arms up, causing Stone to lose his grip and land on the floor. Finale stumbles into the cell, holding his head. Stone starts to one knee, favoring his back as he looks to Finale. Finale closes his eyes for a moment and shakes his head, Stone stumbling to his feet. He charges up, looking to clothesline Finale, but Finale ducks at the last second, Matt hitting the cell. Finale grabs Stone's arm, trying to irish whip the Common Enemy into the cell again, but Stone throws out a boot and plants Finale's head between it and the cell wall. Finale crumples to the floor, Stone starting to his feet again. He looks to Finale, then the cell, back to Finale, and then to the ring. He smiles a devilish grin as he rolls into the ring, climbing the nearest turnbuckle.
Nick Webb: What the hell...?
Rayne: This isn't vintage Stone, what in the hell is he thinking??
Stone eyes Finale, who grabs out for anything to hold onto. Finale starts to rise using the cell, struggling against the wall. Stone watches as Finale is almost to his feet, stumbling towards the cell door. As soon as Finale is on his feet, Stone jumps...
Crowd: HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT!
Rayne: STONE AND FINALE THROUGH THE CELL DOOR!!
Alex Wilkie: SONUVA BITCH!!
Starr turns in shock as Stone nails a beautiful body splash, sending himself and Finale through the cell door. Lucious runs over, checking both men. They're both battered and semi-conscious, Lucious looking to the announce table. He calls over Scott, who grabs a microphone and runs over. Lucious says something barely audible to the announcer, and Scott runs up the ramp. Lucious checks Stone and Finale, neither man responsive at first. He begins to throw a count, the crowd roaring for Finale and Stone.
Rayne: Looks like Lucious has turned to old school normal match rules, which at this moment, might be the best thing.
1!
2!
Nick Webb: So what happens if he counts them both out??
3!
4!
Matt begins to stir, flexing his fingers as he tries to figure out where he is.
5!
6!
7!
Stone is on one knee, clutching his side as he regains his bearings, reaching out for the cell door for balance.
8!
9!
Stone is on his feet, noticing Finale. He releases his hold on the door, dropping on top of Finale. Lucious drops to the floor, counting it.
1!!!
2!!!
3! NO!!
Rayne: WHAT THE...
Alex Wilkie: FINALE KICKED OUT!! FINALE KICKED OUT!!
Stone looks at Starr, shocked. Starr looks back, himself in shock, but holds up two fingers. Stone shakes his head, covering again.
1!!
2!!
KICK OUT AT 2 1/2!!!
Rayne: Finale showing some life! This could get crazy!!
Stone looks shocked, yelling at Starr about a slow count. Starr shrugs him off, Stone grabbing Finale's head and slamming it against the floor.
Matt Stone: STAY DOWN, DAMMIT!! STAY THE HELL DOWN!!
Stone makes the cover again, Lucious slow to count.
1!!!
2!!!
THREEee... NO! Finale again with the kickout!
Nick Webb: Now THAT was unfair! Lucious is just screwing with Stone now!
Rayne: Hey, you don't disrespect a referee and not get some kind of payback.
Stone is up, infuriated. He grabs Starr by the collar, yelling.
Matt Stone: WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?!
Lucious Starr: You better get your fucking hands off me, NOW.
Matt Stone: Why don't you make me, you jackass?!
Lucious Starr: I'm warning you, Stone. Get your filthy hands off me.
Matt Stone: MAKE ME.
Lucious eyes Stone, smacking Matt's hand away. Stone goes to throw a punch, but Lucious blocks it, twisting Stone's arm behind his back into a hammerlock.
Lucious Starr: Now you focus on your match, or I WILL make sure you lose. Got it?
Lucious releases Stone, who turns around and prepares to fight Lucious. At that moment, a pair of EMT's run down the ramp, checking on Finale. After a moment, Finale is on his knees, trying to wave off the EMT's. Lucious goes to talk to them, telling them to be on standby. While Lucious' back is turned, Stone hits Finale with KNEEL BEFORE ZOD!! Finale falls back to the floor, the EMT's heading up the ramp. Stone poises behind Lucious, furious. Starr turns around... C-C-C-C-COMBO BREAKER!!
Alex Wilkie: WHAT THE HELL?!
Rayne: THAT'S MATCH SUICIDE!!!
Lucious drops to the floor, holding his head. Stone grins as he looks back to Finale, walking around the cell. He finds himself next to the announce table, grabbing the US Title. He walks back around the cell, lifting Finale to his knees.
Matt Stone: IS THIS WHAT YOU WANT?!
Stone drops the US Title, then plants Finale face-first into it. He looks down, noticing a trickle of blood from Finale. Stone looks back at Starr, who is still dazed, and then to the cell. He grabs Finale by the leg, dragging him to the cell. Matt throws Finale over his shoulders, starting up the cell. Finale is out cold, not realizing where he is, while the fans start to roar at Stone's actions. Lucious begins to stir, looking around to figure out what's going on. He looks to the crowd, a nearby fan pointing to the cell. As he looks, Stone has reached the top, rolling Finale onto the top as he finishes his ascent.
Crowd: MATT STONE! FINALE! MATT STONE! FINALE!
Stone looks down, pointing at Lucious and laughing. He turns around, starting to pick Finale up to his feet. Finale, most likely out of instinct, throws an uppercut. Stone stumbles back a step, coming dangerously close to the edge of the cell. Finale is on his knees, still wobbling as he tries to regain his composure. Stone walks up, throwing a foot... KNEEL BEFORE ZOD! NO!!! Finale falls back, Stone missing and spinning around. Finale comes back up, shoving Matt towards the edge. Again Stone barely manages to stop himself, looking over the edge to the floor below. He steps back and turns around... BELLY TO BELLY!! Stone is thrown across the top of the cell as Finale starts to regain his awareness, realizing where he is and what he's doing. Stone lands hard, causing a slight dent in the cell roof. He rolls to his hands and knees, favoring his back. Finale starts over, holding his head as he works his way towards Stone. Matt works his way to one knee, Finale throwing a fist to his temple. Matt falls back, coming back up and hitting a punch to the gut. Finale stumbles back, Matt starting to one foot. Finale comes up and hits a dropkick, Matt falling on his back on the cell. Finale takes a moment getting up, struggling against himself as he gets to one knee. Stone lies on his back, reaching skyward. Finale stumbles over, making the cover on Stone. Lucious runs into the cell, falling to the mat as he counts, staring skyward.
1!!
2!!
Kickout!!
Rayne: And Matt Stone is resilient as ever, keeping his title reign going that much longer!
Nick Webb: I can't believe what's going on here... I mean, they're fighting ON TOP of the cell. One wrong move, and their careers could be over.
Alex Wilkie: That... that would suck.
Finale gets to his feet, Stone rolling to his belly. Finale starts towards Stone, grabbing his hair and pulling him up. Stone throws an elbow to Finale's gut, Finale hunching over. Stone throws another elbow, Finale loosening his grip. Stone manages to one leg, grabbing Finale and dropping him with a DDT. Stone drapes an arm over Finale, again Lucious drops.
1!!
2!!
3!! NO!!
Rayne: And Finale keeps the match going as he tries to claim the title back!!
Stone looks on, shocked. Finale stirs, trying to roll onto his belly. Stone places his arms under his body, pushing up as he starts to one knee. Finale is on his belly, attempting to push himself up as well, Stone now on both knees. He fires a fist at Finale, clocking him one in the jaw. Finale falls over for a moment, but then starts back up. Stone is on one leg, throwing another fist. Again he nails Finale's jaw, Finale falls back, but rolls up to a knee. Matt is now on his feet as Finale struggles to both knees, Matt grabbing his head. Finale hits a brutal uppercut, sending Stone back a pace or two. Stone comes back, another uppercut. Matt charges up, Finale with a gut-check elbow, Stone falling back a few more paces. Finale is now on both feet, and begins charging at Stone.
Rayne: Fuck.
Nick Webb: Rayne! This is national...
Rayne: MOVE!
Finale rams right into Stone... AND BOTH MEN TOPPLE OFF THE SIDE OF THE CELL! Rayne, Wilkie and Webb jump over the crowd barricade as the two competitors free fall through the air, Stone grabbing for Finale. He seems to get a hold, but only split seconds before...
CRASH!!!
Crowd: HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT!
Nick Webb: The announce table is broken!! The announce table is broken!!
Rayne: Both men are out fucking cold!!
Alex Wilkie: Holy shit is right!
Lucious quickly runs over, calling down the EMT's. Lucious drops down to check both men, neither responding. The EMT's rush to the carnage, splinters and busted wood everywhere. Matt and Finale are both in poses that bodies aren't supposed to contort to, and the EMT's work quickly but carefully to get the men out of the wreckage and into suitable positions. The EMT's talk between each other, two of the three running back up the entrance ramp. Lucious and the remaining EMT start discussing what's happening, and soon there are two teams of EMT's carrying stretchers.
Rayne: This does not look good.
Nick Webb: We told you it was a career-threatening match, and these guys may have taken it one step further than that...
The stretchers are placed beside each man, each team getting under a competitor. They slowly lift each one onto a stretcher, being careful not to further damage either man. They begin rolling the two men around the cell, Lucious finishing his discussion with the EMT. He goes to speak with Benjamin, who nods as he raises his mic.
Scott Benjamin: Ladies and gentlemen, may I have your attention, please. The injuries suffered by Matt Stone and Finale have incapacitated both men. Due to their extensive injuries, Special Referee Lucious Starr has informed me that this match will end in a dra...
The crowd roars as suddenly movement is seen on the ramp. Matt Stone has appeared to fall off his stretcher... NO! STONE IS MOVING!!! STONE IS FUCKING MOVING!!!
Rayne: HOW IN THE HELL?!?!
Alex Wilkie: IMPOSSIBLE!!
Stone stumbles over to Finale's stretcher, barely standing. He tips the stretcher, knocking Finale off. As soon as Finale is on the floor, Stone drops beside him, grabbing his head and locking in the SET IN STONE!!
Nick Webb: NO WAY!! Stone is up, and he's trying to win this one legit!
Lucious waves off the announcement, running over to the action. Finale is still non-responsive, and Lucious grabs his arm. It drops.
1!!
Lucious again lifts Finale's arm. He holds it steady, then releases. It drops again.
2!!
A third time, Lucious raises Finale's arm, holds it, releases. The crowd is silent as Finale's hand is up... up... drops. Starr calls for the bell, running to ringside.
DING DING DING!!!
Scott Benjamin: Ladies and gentlemen, your winner by submission and STILL your BWF United States Champion... MATT STONE!!!
"Whoa is Me" kicks up on the speakers as Stone slowly releases his hold, the pain coursing through his body. Lucious runs over with BWF US and PWA IC Titles in hand, helping Stone to his feet. He hands Stone the BWF United States Title, shaking his hand. Stone motions to his other shoulder as Lucious holds the PWA Intercontinental Championship, looking sternly into the gold.
Rayne: Wait... what's going on??
Alex Wilkie: Come on, Lucious. You'll get your chance next week. Just give him the title.
Stone motions again, barely standing. Lucious looks from the title, to Stone, back to the title, then to the EMT's. He begins to hold the IC Title out, Stone stretching out his arm to take it...
Rayne: NO LUCIOUS!! DON'T DO IT!!
Lucious drops the IC Title, grabbing Matt's arm. He quickly hoists the Common Enemy into a suplex, then drops him across his shoulders into a torture rack. Stone yells out in excruciating pain, still feeling the effects of the HiaC match. Lucious turns, finding the empty stretcher as he grins devilishly, then drops Matt face-first through the stretcher.
Nick Webb: HELL'S FURY!! HELL'S FURY THROUGH THE STRETCHER!!!
Rayne: Lucious just put Matt Stone through a stretcher! And for what?!
Nick Webb: After that hellacious match he just went through, Stone's already got to be less than one hundred percent for next week's Rampage... Lucious just sent a message to Stone!
Alex Wilkie: Sonuva bitch...
Lucious walks up the ramp, holding the Intercontinental Championship on one shoulder and the KoE Title on the other. EMT's rush another stretcher down, picking Matt Stone up and running him to the back.
Rayne: Matt Stone won the war, but it looks like other battles might be on the horizon.
Nick Webb: Hopefully Finale and Stone can recover from this... but as they say, the show must go on.
Alex Wilkie: Any chance we can get another table down here?
The Next Time You'll See Us On Pay-Per-View...
Live on pay-per-view July 21, 2011
X Marks the Spot
"No Sleep 'Til Brooklyn" by the Beastie Boys hits the BlazenTron and Xander Strife walks out onto the stage, grinning.
Nick Webb: Here comes former BWF Tag Team Champion Xander Strife, didn't know he was scheduled tonight!
Rayne: I'm pretty sure he isn't.
Xander rolls into the ring and calls for a mic as the music fades.
Xander Strife: Hey, yo!
The crowd half cheers, half boos, most of them don't seem to care.
Xander Strife: So, WrestleFest VI is here, and I'm disappointed to find out that I don't have a match! I mean, the blind guy and the sissy manager have a match, and not me? I'm a former BWF Tag Team Champion!
Alex Wilkie: Hey, Nick, he said the same thing you did. Kinda sad that's about the only thing he's ever accomplished here.
Xander Strife: Anyway, I'm gonna make this short and sweet, bros and hos. I'm calling anybody back there out for a match, right here, right now! Maybe Matt Stone wants to come back out and put his U.S. Title up against a real man, eh?
Xander laughs as the crowd boos a little more, many of them having earned respect for what Stone just went through.
Xander Strife: Or hey, maybe I can fight David Blazenwing, he seems to be losing to about as many people as I am these days! Or maybe I could -
Xander is interrupted as "I Don't Care" by the Insane Clown Posse hits the BlazenTron.
Nick Webb: WHAT!?
Rayne: It can't be!
Alex Wilkie: I'll be damned... it IS!
As red fireworks shoot out from the entrance ramp to the crowd, the lyrics to the song begin playing as a man slowly gets elevated from under the entrance, wearing a cloak with a hood coming over his head. The man extends his arms out and takes in a deep breath then slowly turns around as he pulls off his cloak and tosses it into the air, revealing himself to be Casey Campbell before dropping down to one knee and posing for the crowd as sparks shoot out at his sides. Standing up, Casey smiles while blowing a few kisses to fans in the crowd, followed by a pelvic thrust or two. Walking down the ramp, Casey stops and slowly looks out at the crowd with a wide grin. Casey moves up to the ring and reaches up to the ropes, grabbing hold of them and pulling himself up as he turns around, leaning against the ropes, looking to the crowd. Rolling backwards into the ring, Casey slowly paces in a small circle while looking at the fans. Casey then raises his hand, doing a pose, as pyro shoots out from each ring post. Casey then moves up to the ring post and continues to pose for the crowd, then jumps down and starts pulling against the ropes as the music fades.
Nick Webb: Good old Casey! Looks like we're gonna have us an impromptu match pitting Xander Strife against a man who will be inducted into the BWF Hall of Fame tonight, "The Cool Factor" Casey Campbell!
Alex Wilkie: You know, I was Tag Team Champions with Casey once.
Rayne: Yeah, The Can-Am Connection, right? Man, that takes me back.
As the music fades, Scott Benjamin takes the mic from Xander in the middle of the ring.
DING DING DING!!!
Scott Benjamin: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for ONE fall! Introducing first, he hails from Brooklyn, New York... weighing in at 267 pounds... XANDER STRIFE!!!
Xander raises an arm as the fans boo, now solidly in the corner of Campbell.
Scott Benjamin: And his opponent, he hails from Skymont, Tennessee... weighing in at 262 pounds... he is the Cool Factor... he is CASEY CAMPBELL!!!
Casey flexes for the crowd and the fans go nuts as referee Ryan Swanson calls for the bell.
DING!
Xander takes a step towards Casey, saying something, but Casey launches himself forward, nearly slicing Xander in two with his patented PWNED!!! (Point-Blank Spear) The crowd erupts as Casey points out to the fans, and then covers Xander!
1!
2!
3!
DING DING DING!!!
Scott Benjamin: Ladies and gentlemen, here is your winner... CASEY CAMPBELL!!!
"I Don't Care" by the Insane Clown Posse hits the BlazenTron again as Casey rolls out of the ring and high fives a few fans, then stops at the announcer's table, where he gives Alex Wilkie a bro hug before fist bumping Rayne and Webb. He then heads back up the ramp, all smiles as he poses a little bit more.
Nick Webb: That might just be the quickest WrestleFest match on record!
Rayne: Casey Campbell, showing up tonight to make a statement and he did, one that Xander Strife isn't soon to forget!
Alex Wilkie: I bet I could have beaten Xander faster.
Rayne and Webb laugh.
Alex Wilkie: No, really! Hit him with the good ol' Alex Effect DDT... maybe the A.K.O... hell, maybe bust out the old Grade A Stunner! I'm just saying.
Nick Webb: Well, regardless, a huge win for Casey Campbell tonight, and folks, we've still got a lot of show to go!
Exceeding Expectations
Lucious Starr: Nice. VERY. Nice.
Lucious walks backstage, the AoWF King of Extreme Championship and PWA Intercontinental Title on his shoulders. He passes by a door, just in time for Dave Blazenwing to step out.
David Blazenwing: Lucious! Just the man I wanted to see.
Lucious Starr: Baconring! Just the guy I needed to... um, whatever. What can I do for ya?
David Blazenwing: I saw some of the shit you pulled out there during the US Title match, man. Almost caused my match to look like shit.
Lucious Starr: What?! I saved that match...
David Blazenwing: You stopped the match twice. You got in Stone's face. You called the EMT's down and had them hauled away on stretchers. And you almost let it end in a draw!!
Lucious Starr: Well... I mean, they were out, man. Like, they were laying there in ways that no human should be laying. It was sick to look at...
David Blazenwing: Nice job.
Lucious looks confused as David grins, extending a hand.
David Blazenwing: You kept the match going, you provided some controversy, and you looked out for their well-being. Couldn't have done better myself.
Lucious grins, shaking D-Blaze's hand.
Lucious Starr: Any tim...
David Blazenwing: Well, I could have. But I'd have been too busy worrying about my match, so I would probably have just let it end earlier. But that's cause I would have been distracted. Still. Thanks for a job well done, man.
Lucious Starr: Thanks, Dave.
Lucious starts to walk off, but feels a tug on his shoulder. He turns, Dave having a hold on the Intercontinental Title.
Lucious Starr: Dave?
David Blazenwing: Lucy, you're a good guy. But that property belongs to one of my guys, and I can't, in good conscience, allow you to leave with it.
Lucious looks at Dave, half confused and half insulted.
Lucious Starr: Dude. This is mine. And I'm going to officially get it Sunday anyways.
David Blazenwing: True as that might be, I own BWF. And as long as Stone is under contract with me, I have to keep my stars' property safe. Out of respect for you, I'm ASKING you to leave that with me.
Lucious and Dave stare each other down for a moment, cautious. Lucious looks at the IC Title, allowing it to slide down his arm and into David's waiting hands. Lucious turns, starting to walk off.
Lucious Starr: You're lucky this time, Dave.
David Blazenwing: Oh, Lucy? I was wondering...
Lucious turns, a grin on Dave's face. The two men step into Dave's office, the door closing behind them.
In a thankfully short comedy match, Jeremy Hawk lucked into a win when he caught a confused, bumbling Arnold Hawk and rolled him up in a small package to score the pinfall victory.
WINNER: Jeremy Gold
The 2011 BWF Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony
After a short "Please, don't try this at home!" commercial, we return to WrestleFest, where we join Scott Benjamin in the ring.
Scott Benjamin: Ladies and gentlemen, it is now time to introduce you to the BWF Hall of Fame Class of 2011!
Loud pop from the crowd.
Scott Benjamin: Here to induct the Class of 2011, please welcome former multi-time BWF titleholder and an inductee into the BWF Hall of Fame Class of 2007... the one and only... TOCO!!!
"Hunger Strike" by Temple of the Dog hits the BlazenTron and Toco walks out onto the stage, looking better than ever. Head to toe in a black formal suit, he appears to have lost at least a hundred pounds, although the mustard stain on his tie is a telling sign that his eating habits have not completely been changed. He lifts the microphone in his hand as his music fades and smiles.
Toco: Ladies and gentlemen, tonight is a very special night, for the first time ever, six individuals will be inducted into the BWF Hall of Fame! Without further ado, let's begin with the inductions! First, hailing from Panama City, Florida, she is a former two-time BWF World Champion... you know her as the "Amazon Princess" Kirlia Gardevoir... please welcome SARAH JAMES!!!
"Bounce" by Sarah Connor hits the BlazenTron as Sarah James walks out onto the stage, her ring gear gone in favor of a long, elegant red sequined dress. Toco takes her hand and kisses it, and Sarah smiles as she walks across the stage and stands atop the star that reads "Sarah James".
Toco: Next up, her sister, a multi-time BWF Tag Team Champion, a former U.S. Champion and the winner of the 2006 Gauntlet Run... "Stutterfly" Starla Gardevoir... KATIE JAMES!!!
"Heads Up, Hearts Down" by I Fight Dragons hits the BlazenTron as Katie walks out, wearing the same dress as Sarah, but in sky blue. She waves to the fans, then high fives Toco before taking her spot next to her sister.
Toco: Next, a former United States and BWF Tag Team Champion... being accompanied by his trusty pet hamster Gary... a personal good friend of mine... WACKO MARKO!!!
"The Hamster Dance" by Hampton the Hamster hits the BlazenTron as Wacko Marko walks out, wearing a custom purple Joker-inspired suit with a matching purple and green jester hat, a hamster ball with Gary inside under his left arm. He gives Toco a hug, then a high five before taking his spot on the stage.
Toco: Up next, a man who needs no introduction if you've ever watched BWF... one of the most charismatic, entertaining stars of his time, a former BWF Heavyweight, United States, International and Tag Team Champion... please welcome Toronto's own... "THE REAL DEAL" ROB TORBORG!!!
"Whatever" by Our Lady Peace hits the BlazenTron and Rob Torborg walks out in a very nice looking Armani suit with designer sunglasses on. He grins, throwing his arm up in the air to a MASSIVE pop from his hometown Toronto crowd. A large "Tor-borg!" chant starts up as he hugs Toco, then takes his spot on his star.
Toco: You saw this man earlier tonight... ladies and gentlemen, he is a former BWF Tag Team Champion and one of the only Champions in the history of BWF's offshoot promotion Revolution X Wrestling... being accompanied by his manager MC the Midget... "THE COOL FACTOR" CASEY CAMBPELL!!!
"I Don't Care" by Insane Clown Posse hits the BlazenTron again and Casey walks out onto the stage, this time in a tailored suit with the sleeves ripped off so he can still show off his biceps. Behind him, MC the Midget walks out, waving to the crowd. Both men get a huge pop as Casey lifts MC onto his shoulder, then the two walk over to Casey's star as his theme fades, leaving only the star in the middle of the stage open.
Toco: And finally... the man who has dominated the BWF since it's return this year... easily the man with the most heart to EVER step into a BWF ring... a two-time BWF World Champion, the longest reigning United States Champion in the company's history, among many other impressive accolades... ladies and gentlemen, I give you "THE MARVEL" GABE SHELLEY!!!
"In Fate's Hands" by the Red Jumpsuit Apparatus hits the BlazenTron as Gabe Shelley walks out onto the stage, in his ring gear as opposed to a suit, as he still has a BWF World Title defense later tonight. The BWF World Championship is strapped firmly around his waist as he fistbumps Toco, then stands on his star and poses.
Toco: Toronto, Canada, BWF fans watching at home... I give you your BWF Hall of Fame Class of 2011!
"Pomp and Circumstance" begins playing across the BlazenTron as each of the individuals step forward, bowing for the crowd, the women curtseying. They all wave one final time, the fans cheering loudly, then they all file in towards the back.
One Final Moment
The camera moves backstage, near the gorilla position, where we see David Blazenwing now sitting on a steel chair, his head down, knowing what's coming next. Footsteps catch his attention and he looks up to see the #1 Contender for the BWF World Title, Emily Corlen, standing above him. He stands up.
David Blazenwing: Look, Em, I -
Emily puts her hand up.
Emily Corlen: Relax. I know what you're gonna say. You're forgiven.
She smirks.
David Blazenwing: I, uh...
Before Dave can finish, Emily leans in and hugs him tight.
Emily Corlen: I'm sorry about Johnny. About... everything.
DB smiles at her as he hugs back.
David Blazenwing: It's alright. Johnny's right. I have sins to atone for. I've earned this.
Emily Corlen: Be safe out there. For me.
David Blazenwing: I will. Go out there tonight and win the belt for me, kiddo. No, I take that back... win it for you.
Emily breaks the hug and wipes her eyes, then hugs him again before walking off. Dave watches her leave, then stares at the entrance to the gorilla position as Marvin Wood, Rob Robinson and Hijo Del Diablo Negro walk up.
David Blazenwing: Now or never, gentlemen. It's killing time.
David nods to the three men surrounding him as the camera fades back to the ring.
VS.
DING DING DING!!!
Scott Benjamin: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is an Eight-Man Captain's Fall Tag Team Elimination Match for Complete Control of the BWF! Introducing first... Marvin Wood, "The Phoenix" Rob Robinson, Hijo Del Diablo Negro and Team Captain David Blazenwing... they are THE ALLIANCE OF WRESTLING'S FINEST!!!
"Superstar" by Saliva hits the BlazenTron as Marvin Wood, "The Phoenix" Rob Robinson, Hijo Del Diablo Negro and David Blazenwing walk out onto the stage to a massive round of boos. They each stand tall on the stage before heading down to the ring and sliding inside. Each man takes to a turnbuckle and poses as the music fades.
Nick Webb: This match is for everything! If The Alliance is unsuccessful tonight, Johnny Maverick will become the new Owner of the Blazenwing Wrestling Federation! Only by winning this match can Blazenwing hope to keep control of his own company!
Scott Benjamin: And their opponents... Matthew "Virus" Engel, Alexis Sykes, Ash Nukem and Team Captain Johnny Maverick... they are TEAM MAVERICK!!!
"Don't Touch Me" by Busta Rhymes (Travis Barker Remix) hits the BlazenTron as Johnny Maverick walks onto the stage to a massive pop from the Toronto crowd. Alexis Sykes follows close behind, looking bored, and is joined by PWA World Champion (minus the Championship) Matthew Engel and Johnny's Final Bosses tag partner, Ash Nukem. The four head to the ring as a unit and slide inside, staring down The Alliance, who have refused to leave the ring.
Rayne: This one looks just about ready to explode! Good god!
The Alliance all stand in the ring near their corner and throw out a game "Rock, paper, scissors", reverse elimination style, to determine who will start the match. On the opposite side of the ring, everyone from Team Maverick ducks to the outside which leaves Alexis Sykes in the ring alone. She turns around and swears at Johnny Maverick who winks at her and tells her he believes in her. The Phoenix loses the game and turns to the center of the ring as the bell rings.
DING!
Sykes starts to stretch near her corner and Phoenix cracks his knuckles and starts to approach slowly. A fan from the crowd whistles at Sykes which causes Phoenix to turn his head for just a split second. As he turns and charges, Sykes runs at him and connects with a kick to the face! Phoenix spins and falls flat on his face as Sykes scoffs and rolls out of the ring and heads up towards the entrance.
Nick Webb: What's going on? Where is Alexis going?
Everyone starts to look around, unsure as to what just happened and the referee starts the ten count to eliminate Alexis Sykes.

Phoenix puts his hand to his face and rolls to his back.

Eliminated: Alexis Sykes
Rayne: Alexis Sykes just walked out on her team! I can't believe it!
Team Maverick looks around and Ash Nukem jumps into the ring and sizes up the Phoenix. The AoWF Intercontinental Champion starts to get to his feet as PWA's Grizzly Beer Champion gets the crowd behind him. Phoenix is to his feet and catches Nukem with a clothesline as he charges. Phoenix pulls Ash to his feet and quickly hits a snap DDT. Nukem rolls to his feet and connects with a standing dropkick. Both men are to their feet but Phoenix doubles his opponent over with a hard kick to the gut. He starts to set Nukem up for a Russian leg sweep but the Grizzly Beer champ connects with a hard elbow to battle out. He jumps up and drops Phoenix with the Overload [Flatliner]! He covers!
One...
Two...
Three!
Eliminated: The Phoenix
Alex Wilkie: And Ash Nukem has just eliminated The Phoenix! Wow!
We're down to a three-on-three as Hijo Del Diablo Negro flips into the ring and is ready to attack. Nukem and Hijo lock up and the masked man flips Nukem to his back with a twisting arm drag. Hijo connects with a standing senton splash across the chest of his opponent and immediately jumps to his feet. He's off the ropes as Nukem sits up right into a shining wizard. Hijo is up a turnbuckle before Nukem can even blink. He dives with an elbow but the Grizzly Beer champ rolls out of the way. Hijo rolls backwards to his feet and gets in an attack stance. Nukem locks up with his opponent and hits a snap suplex and quickly follows it up with an elbow across the chest.
Nick Webb: The Ginja Ninja now does battle with the masked Mexican devil! These two are tearing the ring apart!
Hijo is pulled to his feet but is ready as he hits a jawbreaker as both men fall to their backs. Nukem holds his jaw in pain as Hijo tries to make a tag. He connects with the hand of Marvin Wood, the Victory Wrestling World Champion, who strolls into the ring with a smug look on his face. He sizes up Nukem who is starting to get to his feet and pushes him back down with the heel of his boot. Wood steps over Nukem and starts to mouth off to Johnny Maverick. The two men start to exchange words as Wood turns around to connect with a hard chop to the chest of Nukem.
Rayne: There aren't many men or women who can go toe to toe with the Victory Wrestling World Champion!
"Woo!" goes the crowd as Wood points to Maverick before landing another hard chop across the chest of Nukem. "Woo!" as another echoes around the arena. Wood trips up Nukem and quickly pulls him to his feet before spinning him around and doing it again. Again Nukem is pulled up and Wood grabs his arm and spins it around his neck and twists his opponent around before locking in a sleeper hold. Nukem quickly falls to a knee, dizzy and now losing oxygen quickly. The referee checks on Nukem who doesn't submit and is still going strong. He reaches for the ropes but Wood has him in the middle of the ring. Nukem reaches back and flips Wood over from behind his back and is able to break the hold. Nukem jumps up and connects with a reverse neckbreaker.
Alex Wilkie: Reverse neckbreaker! Ash Nukem is shocking the Toronto crowd here tonight by showing everybody he deserves to be in this match!
Nukem is desperate to make a tag and Johnny Maverick wants it bad. The Grizzly Beer Champion hits the hand of Maverick who jumps into the ring and hits a hard "OF,MF" [Oh fuck, my face] superman punch to the face of Wood. Wood is quick to a knee and is hit with a dropkick to the face. Both men roll to their feet and Wood is able to connect with a forearm smash on Maverick, causing him to stumble backwards. Maverick ducks under a clothesline attempt and looks for a German suplex. Wood hooks his leg around his opponent so Maverick can't lift him. Maverick tries again but gets a elbow to the side of the head for his efforts. Wood spins him around and drops Maverick with a full nelson slam.
Nick Webb: What a move! Wood dominating Maverick!
Wood connects with a hard kick to the ribs of Maverick as David Blazenwing begs for the tag from his partner. Wood pulls Maverick to the Alliance's corner and makes the tag to Blazenwing as the fans boo the BWF Owner. Blazenwing climbs into the ring as Wood holds onto Maverick. Blazenwing connects with a hard right as Maverick falls to a knee and Wood leaves the ring. Blazenwing slaps his opponent a few times to try and rile him up. Blazenwing locks up with Maverick and wrenches the neck. Maverick reaches out for his corner but isn't anywhere close. He lifts Blazenwing off his feet for a moment, pushing him backwards. Blazenwing resets his feet but Maverick does it again.
Rayne: This is the fight we've all waited to see, Maverick vs. Blazenwing, with the future of the BWF at stake!
The fans are getting behind Maverick as he fights to make it to his corner. Blazenwing hits a double axe-handle to the back of Maverick, causing him to fall to the mat. Blazenwing wastes no time in pulling his opponent to his feet and and connects with an underhook backbreaker. Maverick grabs his lower back as the fans are all over Blazenwing who calls for a spear, stalking his prey like a piece of meat. Maverick is up and he walks right into the first spear in the Broken Bow combo.
Alex Wilkie: Dave might have this match won for his team if he can keep this up!
Maverick is holding the ribs which have been worked on and Blazenwing is ready for the second spear. He charges but Maverick jumps over him and Blazenwing walks right into a boot from Ash Nukem who has snuck into the ring. The referee restrains Ash and gets him back to his corner. Maverick makes the tag to Matthew Engel, the PWA World Champion. There is a mixed reaction for Engel who pulls Blazenwing to his feet and lifts him for a stalling suplex. Engel drops his opponent to the mat with a crash and climbs to his feet. Blazenwing is up and walks right into a releasing German suplex. Engel is on fire and flips Blazenwing over his head with a belly-to-belly suplex as he stands.
Nick Webb: Fans have been clamoring for this fight for ages! Engel and Blazenwing!
Blazenwing is up and is lifted onto the top rope. Engel sets him up for the 150% [Top rope assisted double armed DDT] but Wood charges into the ring and breaks it up. Engel and Wood start to exchange a series of lefts and rights as all hell as broken loose. Ash Nukem climbs the top rope and Hijo has climbed into the ring. Nukem dives and connects with a cross body on all four men. The fans eat it up as everyone is to their feet. Wood drops Nukem with the Imperfect Tense [Running STO] as he turns and walks right into it. Nukem is rolled under the bottom ropes as Hijo is taken down with a thunderous pumphandle slam via Engel. Hijo gets dumped over the top ropes and Engel turns and is hit with a European uppercut. Wood is restrained by the referee who is working hard to get order back to the match.
Rayne: The referee is finding it difficult to keep order in this match and I sure as hell can't blame him!
Wood leaves the ring as Blazenwing has had some time to try and recompose himself. Outside of the ring Phoenix watches on as Hijo and Nukem battle back and forth near the entrance ramp. Wood turns his attention to the battle and Phoenix makes his way over. The referee is turned to the in-ring action as the three members of the Alliance send Hijo into the steel steps. In the ring, Engel is measuring up Blazenwing up for the Euthanasia [Corkscrew body splash off top rope] but Blazenwing is to his feet and hits the ropes, causing Engel to rack himself on the top ropes.
Alex Wilkie: Oh! Right where the sun don't shine! He's gonna be feeling THAT in the morning!
Blazenwing falls to his knee and measures up Engel. Maverick taps the leg of Engel to help him flip down. Maverick watches on as Engel stands and turns right into the Full Effect [Superkick] from Blazenwing! Blazenwing falls to the mat and covers but there is no count. Blazenwing jumps to his feet and starts to yell at the referee who explains that a tag had been made. Blazenwing can feel someone behind him and the fans are on their feet as Maverick lifts him up for the Another Body Murdered [Frazier's Pure Impact]! Johnny covers and Engel and Nukem hold off the Alliance.

THREE!
DING DING DING!!!
Scott Benjamin: Ladies and gentlemen, here are your winners... TEAM MAVERICK!!!
"Don't Touch Me" by Busta Rhymes (Travis Barker Remix) hits the BlazenTron as Maverick rolls out of the ring, grinning from ear to ear. He ambles back towards the stage, joined by Ash and Matthew, still rubbing his jaw from the Full Effect.
Nick Webb: My god... it's over! Johnny... Johnny Maverick is the new Owner of the BWF! I can't believe it!
As Johnny and co. walk backstage, David slowly comes to in the ring, realizing what just happened. Marvin helps him to his feet and The Phoenix re-emerges to check on his stable mate as Hijo Del Diablo Negro watches on.
Rayne: This has to be absolutely soul crushing for David Blazenwing... I can't imagine...
The music stops as Marvin and Phoenix pat Dave on the back, assuring him that everything's alright as the reality of the situation continues to sink in. As they talk to one another, the BlazenTron comes to life and we see Johnny Maverick standing backstage.
Johnny Maverick: Hey, Dave! How's your neck doing? I didn't bust it up too badly, did I?
Johnny laughs sarcastically before continuing.
Johnny Maverick: I just wanted to say two things to ya before the show moves on. First off, you're fired. That's pretty much a given, right?
The crowd half cheers, half boos (some of them seeing the pure emotion on Blazenwing's face) as Johnny continues.
Johnny Maverick: And second, I think now is a perfect time to announce that I am officially selling the BWF!
The crowd begins murmuring, Blazenwing and The Alliance watching on silently.
Johnny Maverick: Yep. Found a buyer and everything. They're right here in Toronto in fact, and in about ten seconds, the sale will be final! They don't want my revealing their identity, I guess they want to do that themselves or something, but... ah, here we go!
Johnny turns his attention to his left, where a hand appears holding a dollar bill. Johnny smiles and takes the bill.
Johnny Maverick: It's all yours. Don't forget to lock up when you leave for the night!
Johnny then turns back to the camera, grinning again, holding up the one dollar bill.
Johnny Maverick: Best dollar I ever earned. See ya around, Davey Boy... or I won't. You're welcome, world!
Johnny shoves the camera out of the way as the camera fades. Back in the ring, The Alliance all shake hands with each other, in a show of solidarity.
Alex Wilkie: Despite losing here tonight, still a great showing from the Alliance of Wrestling's Finest!
A simmer of screaming can be heard from one small section of the crowd. The camera remains on a wide shot of the ring, its contents and the lower tier of the audience. Therefore, rather suddenly, an individual dressed completely in black jumps over the barricade and enters the ring, from the side of the entrance ramp. He is holding a steel chair. Even his head is completely covered by a black mask. All four members of the Alliance of Wrestling's Finest turn around to see him, before he is able to do anything.
Rayne: Who's that?
Marvin Wood, 'The Phoenix' Rob Robinson, David Blazenwing and Hijo del Diablo Negro each stare at him, apparently trying to figure him out. The masked man simply stays where he is, chair still grasped in his hand. Negro takes a couple of steps forward, perhaps anticipating that their similar appearances hold some significance. The masked man moves forward, slightly, in order to receive him. Negro begins to raise his arm in a questioning position, but it is then that the man in question takes the opportunity to strike Negro in the ribs with the chair. And then, to the head, knocking him down to the canvas with tremendous force.
Nick Webb: Oh, my! What a shot!
Negro gestures to strike the other members of the Alliance with the chairs, but all three of them quickly exit the ring, animated and concerned in their facial expressions. The masked man watches them, to make sure that they do not intend to re-enter the ring, all the while holding the chair in a defensive position, in case that did happen to occur.
Alex Wilkie: Whoever this guy is, he's making damn sure that the Alliance doesn't interfere with whatever he has planned!
After a few moments, once the man appears to be appeased, he turns his attention back to Negro; crouches down; grabs his ankle; drags him closer to one of the turnbuckles; and applies a steel chair to the ankle. He then positions himself on the second rope, and once again stares at the other members of the Alliance, who are now stood on the entrance ramp. Once satisfied, he takes a further step up to the top rope, and comes crashing down with a knee drop onto the chair, onto the ankle: crushing the ankle!
Nick Webb: OH MY GOD! Whoever that man is just snapped Hijo Del Diablo Negro's ankle! Did you HEAR that crushing sound!?
Screams of agony can be heard from Negro, muffled only slightly by his mask. The masked man remains on his knees, staring down the Alliance who are gradually making their retreat to the backstage area. Then, subsequently, he looks down at his handiwork. The camera zooms in on the suffering and incapacitated El Hijo del Diablo Negro.
Rayne: Words can't describe what we just witnessed... who is this masked man... and why did he just injure Hijo Del Diablo Negro?!
Alex Wilkie: Let's hope we get the answers soon!
DING DING DING!!!
Scott Benjamin: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is your WrestleFest VI main event! It is scheduled for ONE fall... and it is for the BWF World Championship! Introducing first, he is the current and reigning BWF World Champion... hailing from San Diego, California by way of Columbus, Ohio... he is The marVel... he is GABE SHELLEY!!!
The fans cheer loudly as Gabe Shelley walks out onto the stage and poses with the BWF World Title around his waist, grinning as "In Fate's Hands" by the Red Jumpsuit Apparatus starts playing.
I remember a year ago
I was standing in the crowd
Waiting for my chance to break through
My chance to live again
As his trademark spotlight shines down on him and the lights dim, Gabe lifts his hood up slightly to get a view of the fans, his face peeking out. In this hype, he plays to the fans with a smile and they highly respond to him and the lyrics.
Now it seems I've found some friends who
Finally understand what it takes
To make this dream come true
We'll be here 'til the end
Shake it! Break it! Get off your feet!
Come dance with me and don't you fake it
Shake it! Break it! Get off your feet!
Come dance with me and don't you fake it
The fans are positively crazy about Gabe. He makes his way down the ramp, tags several hands along the way and climbs up the ring steps. He looks around one more time from his hood as he jumps up and over the ropes and spins around. Gabe picks a corner and easily jumps to the second ropes and bows down. He throws his hood back and his arms out with a smile on his face. He points outwards to the crowd as he jumps backwards, spinning and landing on his feet. He draws to the center of the ring and throws his hands out; the crowd's roar of cheers only grow louder and flashes from cameras capture photos of the marVel in all his glory.
Oh, wish I could thank you all for what you have done
and all of the things that you have shared with me
Oh, wish I could take you all too where I must go wish I could take you all
I'll take you with my heart
Gabe takes his vest off and unstraps the BWF World Championship from around his waist, handing it to senior referee Mike Kosiboski before bending and stretching his back over the top ropes. After a brief warm up, he's ready to go. As the music dies, he and the fans are ready.
Nick Webb: Gabe Shelley was crowned BWF World Champion on February 26, exactly 107 days ago tonight. He has turned back challenger after challenger to his title and secured his place as one of the finest stars to ever be BWF World Champion!
Rayne: But tonight, he's headlining the biggest show in BWF history against a woman who has never been World Champion, a woman who has vowed to end Shelley's title reign and leave Toronto as the NEW BWF World Champion!
Scott Benjamin: And the challenger, she hails from Los Angeles, California by way of Rockford, Illinois...
Alex Wilkie: The look on Gabe's face says it all... he's not intimidated by Emily Corlen in the least! He's been to the big dance, but Emily has not, and it's going to take everything she has and possibly something she doesn't if she wants to end Shelley's title run here in the main event of WrestleFest!
Nick Webb: Here we go!
DING!
The fans are buzzing as the match begins and Gabe Shelley hands the BWF World Title to the referee. Shelley and Corlen meet in the middle of the ring and shake hands before backing up. Shelley reaches down and adjusts the knee brace on his left knee from the weeks prior. Corlen stretches quickly and we're under way as the two competitors lock up. Corlen wrenches the arm of Shelley and pushes him down to a knee before hitting a elbow to the side of the head. Rayne: On June 13, 2011, Emily Corlen came to Toronto, Canada to win, and by God, she is leaving here tonight as the NEW BWF World Champion! I think we can all...
Before Rayne can finish his sentence, "Superstar" by Saliva starts to play throughout the arena. The fans continue their half booing, half cheering from earlier as David Blazenwing makes his way to the stage with a microphone in hand. He quickly cuts his music and speaks.
David Blazenwing: Hold on just one second. I may be out of a job, but until WrestleFest VI ends, I'm still in control, and Emily, as much as I hate to do this... this is THE biggest event of the year. No room for mistakes. Roll the footage!
A video plays on the BlazenTron of the ending of the match... and Shelley's foot being on the bottom rope! The crowd explodes and Corlen shakes her head and can't believe it.
David Blazenwing: Now, I won't reverse the referee's decision. Emily Corlen IS your new BWF World Champion. However, like I said, this is WrestleFest... and in the interest of fairness, as my last act as BWF Owner, I am granting Gabe Shelley a rematch for the BWF World Championship... starting right now! Ring the bell!
The bells sounds and we have another BWF World Title match!

The crowd explodes as Shelley points out to the fans and smiles. He runs his fingers through his hair as he's handed the title and limps to his feet.
Nick Webb: W...wow! For the first time in BWF history, the BWF World Championship has changed hands twice in one night! Gabe Shelley, against all odds, is now the only three-time BWF World Champion in history!
Rayne: What a tough break for Emily Corlen, though... winning your very first World title only to lose it five minutes later... ouch.
Alex Wilkie: Still, it's better to have been World Champion for five minutes than to never hold the title at all!
Gabe hugs the BWF World Title close to him and tells the cameraman on the outside to come into the ring. Shelley pulls a black sharpie out of his boot and signs his signature on the camera lens and tosses the pen out to the crowd. The camera switches as Shelley pulls Corlen to her feet and raises her hand and gives her a hug. He whispers something in her ear as both of them smile. "In Fate's Hands" by Red Jumpsuit Apparatus plays throughout the arena as Shelley celebrates a few moments longer, sliding out of the ring and hugging a few fans a ringside and posing for a shot from the camera.
Nick Webb: What a night, and what a memorable main event! Ladies and gentlemen, for Rayne and Alex Wilkie, I'm Nick Webb... good night from Toronto, Ontario, Canada... we'll see you next week on Havok! Here's to WrestleFest VII and beyond!
We see one final shot of Gabe Shelley holding the BWF World Championship high above his head before a video package plays set to "Wavin' Flag" by K'naan recapping everything we just witnessed at WrestleFest. As the package comes to a close on Emily and Gabe, we fade to the BWF logo, then to black.
