Episode 138 - May 9, 2011
BWF Havok comes to you live tonight from the Honda Center in Anaheim, California! Nick Webb, Rayne and Alex Wilkie open Monday Night Havok by welcoming fans to the show! The three of them then get to make the historic announcement to the fans of the BWF - WrestleFest VI, originally scheduled for July, will now be taking place on June 13, in just five short weeks! As such, the planned May pay-per-view event, Danger Zone, will be postponed until later in the year so that all cylinders can be fired towards Toronto, Canada! The road to WrestleFest begins tonight!
A Change of Heart
The lights slowly dim down until it's pitch black before starting to flash and pulsate to the music. "Sound Off" by Trapt starts to roll throughout the arena. Three spotlights shine and revolve around as if searching for someone, and the fans are on their feet, cheering in anticipation for the hero they know is coming. The guitar opening rocks for the first :20 of the song, when the song reaches :21, the lyrics kick up as a waterfall of red, white and blue pyros shoot downward with controlled chaos from the entrance stage.
Running in place
Feeling like you're losing your faith
Feeling like you're fading away
Without a voice to break the chain
The marVel Gabe Shelley makes his way to the top of the ramp as he wears a pair of black pants, dark blue shirt, blue and silver tie, and a sports jacket. Around his waist is the BWF World Heavyweight Championship and over his shoulder is the eWo World Tag Team Championship. Gabe taps both of them and then points out to the crowd as they cheer wildly. As he plays to the fans with a smile, they highly respond to him and the lyrics.
Let me hear you sound off
Let them know how you feel
If the anger inside is real
Long before the bridges are burned
The powers to be are going to hear your words
Have you been heard
Have you been walking around this world misunderstood
Have you been heard
You got to take back what you know is yours
Let me hear you sound off
The fans are positively crazy about Gabe. The pyro ends as he starts to make his way down the ramp, tagging several hands along the way and climbs up the ring steps. He looks around to the crowd as he stands on the ring apron and climbs into the ring. He points to a corner of the ring and easily jumps onto the second ropes and unsnaps the title strap from his waist. He holds both titles out to the side as if throwing his arms out like normal. He smiles as he jumps backwards and spins, landing on his feet.
I hope you get the message loud and clear
We will never disappear
We will ask the questions you fear
It's the only thing you'll hear
Gabe calls for a microphone as he places both of the title on top of one of the turnbuckles. A "Shelley, Shelley" chant quickly breaks out as the fans root for the hero in the ring. He pulls the microphone to his mouth and the fans in San Francisco quickly quiet to allow him to speak.
Gabe Shelley: "A few weeks ago I came down to this ring and I had a few choice words for David Blazenwing. I told you all that being the BWF World champion didn't have the same meaning as it once did, that the BWF was no longer the respected fed I once believed in. I gave him back his title and walked away and I had every intention of leaving that night, walking away from it all. I even got to the parking lot, but then something happened. Or, someone happened. A..."
He pauses as if looking for the find the right word and leans on the top rope before bringing the microphone back to his mouth.
Gabe Shelley: "...Someone handed me that duffel bag full of Singapore canes and asked me where that 'old Gabe' was. The same question that people had been asking all week long and I still didn't have an answer. Long story short, I gave it a thought and knew that walking away wasn't who I really was. I knew that I had to get that guy back and not only reclaim my title but be the pride of the BWF, the hero. I came to this ring and showed Alexander O'Ryan that his actions over the course of the month were unacceptable, that I am not some sort of push over. I retained the title and then made sure that David Blazenwing knew that the 'old Gabe' he was dying to see was alive and well. That the old spark inside of me still burns, and then I cracked him over the head with a cane."
The fans pop as Gabe grins.
Gabe Shelley: "Dave needs to understand that if he wants to go around and act like a corrupt owner, he's going to have people standing up to him. I will always be there to fight for what's right, I will be there to carry the BWF on my back and be the champion that it needs. Which leads me to my second point, the AoWF. It's been no secret that I have not been a fan of it and the backlash I've gotten for it. At Honor Bound my opinion has started to change as I've seen the talent of the AoWF really step up. I was blown away by the King 'o Extreme match and watching Finale bring the title to BWF."
Gabe takes the moment to clap along with the fans at the mention of Finale winning the belt.
Gabe Shelley: "I stand corrected on what lies within the AoWF. I am man enough to admit when I was wrong about something. Being a part of the AoWF is a honor and it's anchored by a great champion. Lisa Seldon walked out of Honor Bound the champion of AoWF and seeing what she was about to do, well, I was amazed. Now I'm not laying claim to being next in line but I'm sure that Miss Seldon and I could put on an amazing match if we met in the ring. "
The fans cheer as Gabe stands his ground and nods as the fans cheer. He makes his way over to the turnbuckle where the eWo Tag Title sits across the top, he picks it up and holds it high.
Gabe Shelley: "Twenty-four hours after retaining my title in Osaka, Japan I went to Toronto, Canada to compete in a small fed you may have heard of. I did it for the epic..."
A large portion of the fans erupt for the mention of eWo while other BWF fans boo, bad memories. Gabe puts the title over his shoulder and smiles.
Gabe Shelley: "Xaria Linette and I walked away with these titles after a hellacious battle where we both lost a lot of blood, were I had to get 8 stitches in the side of my head. I bring this up because if anyone wants to doubt what I can still do in this ring, how much heart I still have... I urge you to find a copy of that match and watch it. I implore you to go back and watch what I did to retain this title at Honor Bound."
He puts the title back and picks up the BWF World Title and walks around the ring.
Gabe Shelley: "I have no intention of giving this title up and O'Ryan knows this first hand. But this title... isn't mine."
He holds the "cFh" painted title above his head.
Gabe Shelley: "Tonight I wanted to take the time to say something about the passing of the Strader sisters and their father. A tragedy fell on not only the BWF but the entire AoWF community. While the last memory I have of the Cowgirls from Hell isn't very pleasant, it did start the journey back to the man I was. To the 'old Gabe'. I teamed with Meghan and she was a talented wrestler and it was a honor to have been in a match with her as a partner and across the ring from me. I had looked forward to competing against her again, but, the memory of the Straders will live on. This title is a reminder of what the Straders were about to achieve in such a short time here in BWF and I want Simon Kalis to be able to have it. I will be sending it Kalis this week and I send him my best."
The fans cheer as Gabe takes a moment to bow his head and remember the Strader sisters and their father.
Gabe Shelley: Tonight either Jethro Hayes or Alexander O'Ryan will become the number one contender to my title and all I can tell these men is to bring it. I've beaten O'Ryan once and I can do it again. This championship is mine and I will defend it no matter what it takes, just like I will be taking those tag team titles tonight. StarStruck, I really hope you decided to bring your best because I'm ready for one hell of a match. These fans understand what 'Mad Dogg' is and after tonight so will you.
Shelley drops the microphone as he leaves the ring with his titles.
A New Lease on Life?
"Power Rangers" by Powerglove hits the Blazentron, The Big O walks out to the stage, followed by an official looking guy carrying a brief case hand-cuffed to his wrist.
Alex Wilkie: Well whats this now? A Stiff looking Big-O followed by a lawyer, maybe he's finally quitting?
Rayne: I doubt it, some people gotta eat.
Big O walks down to the ring followed by the suited fellow and gets a microphone before raising his hand to ask for the music cease.
Alex Wilkie: When did Big O even get to the point where he was allowed mic time?
Nick Webb: Well, he is a former two time champion Alex, When were you-
Alex Wilkie: Ah tut tut, Webb, He was champion when I hadn't even heard of BWF yet, so just be quiet.
Big O looks to the crowd with a big smile on his face.
Big O: Some of you may be wondering why I'm out here tonight... Well, to be honest, I'm here tonight to include you in a momentous occasion... Tonight I am unveiling the BWF's NEW TITLE...
The crowd cheers almost halfheartedly, knowing this was going to be a joke if the Big O was involved.
Big O: I talked to Blazenwing about it, and he feels that maybe I deserve some gold, I am a Two time former world champion... and tonight I am unveiling..
The suited gentlemen opens the briefcase attached to his hand and hands a bagged item to The Big O...
Big O: The BWF Dragonzord Championship!!!
The Big O pulls out the new title belt and holds it up to the crowd, the crowd murmuring, confused and wondering if he was really serious.
Alex Wilkie: Sooo.... He's not serious right?
Rayne: I hope not...
The Big O puts the title around his waist and goes up to each turnbuckle and poses with it, the crowd still wondering what the heck was going on, he wanders back to the center of the ring.
Big O: And because I'm a good sport, I let Blazenwing pick an opponent for me to defend this title right here on Havok!
The crowd cheers a little, hoping Blazenwing picked a good opponent to knock this clown around.
Big O: Come on out!
The crowd goes silent a little before the lights go out in the arena as "Sun Goes Up" hits the speakers, it plays for a bit as a light under the stage lights up what looks like a brick wall, as soon as the singer comes in with "SAGOZO!" Triad bursts through the brick wall, ripping through it like it was paper, he stands on the stage as bangs his chest like a gorilla, fireworks going off to add even more power to each beat on his chest. He lumbers down the ramp, and jumps up onto the apron, stepping over the top rope staring down The Big O very intently, not taking his eyes off of him for a second.
Alex Wilkie: Well damn! Blazenwing must not like The Big O very much if he's sending out the man who demolished Big O at Honor Bound!
Nick Webb: You're exactly right Alex, The newbie Triad really put on a great show with his powers, we're still trying to figure out how he does it!
BWF DRAGONZORD CHAMPIONSHIP
Triad vs. The Big O ©
DING DING DING!
Rayne: and this match is off!
The Big O goes for a lock up with Triad, but Triad parries his move and forces him to the ground, stomping on his back repeatedly before going over to the nearest turnbuckle, he climbs to the top rope and stares down the Big o for a few seconds before he jumps off and delivers a massive top rope elbow drop!
Alex Wilkie: Within a few seconds Triad as knocked The Big O right on his ass!
Rayne: Big O must still be feeling the effects of that power bomb from Honor bound!
Triad crouches down and stalks the Big O, taunting him to get up, the Big O pulls himself to his feet and staggers a bit before he turns right into a huge spear from Triad!
Nick Webb: Spear from Triad!!
Rayne: Big O Didn't even see it coming!!
Triad pulls a loose pin and the ref drops for the count!
One!
Two!
Three!!
DING DING DING!!!
WINNER AND NEW DRAGONZORD CHAMPION: Triad, via pinfall
Triad stands up and beats his chest like a Gorilla before raising his heavy fists in the air, The Ref holds his hand up before handing him the title belt.
Alex Wilkie: Well, if that wasn't the shortest reign in history I don't know what is.
Rayne: Well obvious that title was just for show, you think Blazenwing is dumb enough to put a Dragonzord title on the roster?
Nick Webb: Yeah that sounds like something a couple of basement dwellers would come up with.
Throwing Their Weight Around
We flash backstage to find a golden star with "Executive Assistant, Johnny Maverick" engraved in it. Oh, and when we say gold star, we're talking 18 karat. We pan inside to find, surprise surprise, Johnny Maverick. But, he is joined by former tag team partner, Ash Nukem. Ash is in awe as Johnny shows his his office, that puts Ash's basement to shame.
Johnny Maverick: Alright well here are all my replica belts, over here is the PS3 and the Xbox, both Move and Kinect ready. Over here...
Johnny opens a large cabinet.
Johnny Maverick: Are the games. Full Dolby surround sound and a buzzer whenever I need to order takeout.
Ash Nukem: What kind of delivery time do you get with that thing?
Johnny laughs before slamming his fist into the button.
Johnny Maverick: WONG! Number 18!
*BANG* *BANG* *BANG*
Ash's head swings around towards the door. Johnny smiles as he struts to the door and opens it. A small Asian man stands there.
Johnny Maverick: Wah hah fah hu.
They both bow as the man hands Johnny a bag. Johnny closes the door, walks back, and tosses the bag into Ash's arms.
Johnny Maverick: What kind of delivery time do I get. hah. You can play games on the flatscreen OR if there isn't a show going on, you can have one of the techs hook it up to the Tron. Also, here is my bodyguard, Mr. Baxter.
Johnny motions to the seven foot tall man in a suit who is suddenly standing behind Ash. Ash smirks as he takes a step back... into the big man. Ash gulps. Ash turns and looks up at the huge man behind him.
Ash Nukem: Um...hi.
Ash tries to smile. The big man lifts the small hat off the top of his head in acknowledgement then puts it back on.
Ash Nukem: So anyway Johnny, how's the new job working out?
Johnny Maverick: Awesome. I get to play video games, make a few matches, get paid a ridiculous amount, and every once in a while my lady stops by and we get freaky. By the way, I wouldn't sit on that chair. Still wish I could get in the ring though...
Ash Nukem: Don't worry J-Mav. Someday you'll be back. Just like comic characters, you can never really be gone.
Johnny Maverick: Thanks man........ Seriously, horrible and wonderful things have happened in that chair.
Ash looks behind him at the aforementioned chair. He nudges it away with his boot.
Ash Nukem: Point taken. Thanks for the heads up.
It's at this point former BWF Tag Team Champion Xander Strife comes storming in.
Xander Strife: Johnny, I'm sick of this. I need to be taken serious. But how is that going to happen with these crap matches you keep putting me in?
Ash interjects.
Ash Nukem: Oh, yeah, cause it's totally Johnny's fault you can't win a match.
Xander turns and looks at Ash.
Xander Strife: Oh, sorry. If we all had matches against Mr. Hardcore, no one would ever lose.
Ash doesn't seem to flinch.
Ash Nukem: Ok chief. How about this? You want to talk down about my wins? Show me you are better than me, maybe I can get my buddy there to give you something.
Ash turns to Johnny.
Ash Nukem: Hey J-Mav, I'm thinking if this guy can do something I didn't, maybe he should get a US title shot. How's that sound?
Johnny Maverick: Um, Ash, I can't really...
Ash Nukem: Look Biggie, it's good as done if you can do this one thing. Just win one match, and the shot is yours. Now, go out there and beat Matt Stone.
The crowd can be heard going nuts as Xander looks shocked. He goes to speak up, but Mr. Baxter shows him out. A moment passes and Johnny speaks up.
Johnny Maverick: Dude, what was that?
Ash Nukem: Look, way I figured, your boss will love you for getting one of the other places biggest names here. PLUS, if old man Xander doesn't take out Matt Stone, I'm sure that Finale guy will. It's win freakin' win.
Johnny smiles and fist pounds Ash. He turns on the big screen as Ash opens the Chinese that was delivered.
Xander Strife vs. Matt Stone
Before this impromptu match got underway, ring announcer Scott Benjamin announced that while Xander Strife would get a U.S. Title Match if successful, if Matt Stone won, his match TONIGHT with Finale would be contested for the United States Title.
As for the match itself, the bell rang; Xander tried talking smack to Stone, Stone responded with a C-C-C-C-Combo Breaker! (Codebreaker), then locked in his Set in Stone (Anaconda Vice) for the quick submission victory.
Yes, that's the full extent of what happened. We're not even being sarcastic.
WINNER: Matt Stone, via Submission
After the match, Stone beat on Xander for a few moments more, before hitting a second C-C-C-C-Combo Breaker! He then pointed at the stage and motioned for gold around his waist. Later tonight, he will clash with Finale... and it will be for the BWF United States Championship!!!
When Trust is Broken
Coming back from commercial following Matt Stone's quick victory over Xander Strife, we find "The Emerald Phoenix" Emily Corlen wandering the halls of the Honda Center in Anaheim, California, still euphoric over her own win over Stone just twenty four hours prior on PWA Rampage. Emily greets several of the backstage crew and a handful of BWF superstars not booked tonight who are relaxing backstage, enjoying the show. She then finds herself standing at a door with a familiar placard on it;
BWF C.E.O./OWNER
DAVID BLAZENWING
Emily hesitates for a moment, takes a deep breath, then finally opens the door and heads inside. Within, she finds the man who trained her, a man with whom her relationship had become strained as of late. DB, meanwhile, sat at his desk, reading a local newspaper, seemingly oblivious to the fact that someone had just entered his office. Emily clears her throat loudly and without looking up, Blazenwing responds;
David Blazenwing: Sit.
Emily tilts her head slightly, but takes a seat in the lone chair opposite Blazenwing's desk. After nearly thirty seconds of waiting, Blazenwing finally sets the paper down and stares into Emily's eyes.
David Blazenwing: We have a problem.
Emily opens her mouth to speak, but David puts his hand up, stopping her.
David Blazenwing: Why did you come to the ring at Honor Bound: Night Four?
Emily Corlen: I...
David Blazenwing: Why did you come to the aid of Simon Kalis, of all people??? Why, Emily, tell me why.
Emily Corlen: I just -
David Blazenwing: Less than a month ago, you were his hated fucking enemy! Do you remember me helping you beat him for the REBEL Pro Aggression Championship? Do you?
Emily Corlen: Of course I -
David Blazenwing: And then, DAYS later, how do you repay me? You SCREW me out of my PWA Intercontinental Championship... TO SIMON FUCKING KALIS!!!
Emily Corlen: That was a mist -
David Blazenwing: And THEN... oh, and then... you have the BRASS FUCKING BALLS to run down to the ring and try to SAVE him at Honor Bound? How did that work out for you, Em? Hmm?
Emily looked down for a moment, remembering the beating she received at Honor Bound like it was yesterday. She didn't answer.
David Blazenwing: And now... now, it all makes sense. I tune in to PWA television and I see you gallivanting around with Simon, his retard agent and the worthless Scottish fucktwat like you're suddenly the best of friends! Oh, Emily...
Blazenwing's face darkened considerably.
David Blazenwing: ...I would have expected something like this from your good for nothing sister. But you? I trusted you... but I guess it's true what they say. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree... and there's no such thing as a worthwhile fucking Corlen.
Emily stood up, fuming.
Emily Corlen: How DARE you compare me to -
David stands up, just as angry.
David Blazenwing: No, EMILY! How dare YOU! All this time, you were working with Simon, and for what? Just to fuck me over? After EVERYTHING I've done for you? Have you already forgotten that I MADE YOU? And trust me when I say this...
The door slams shut behind Emily, and she quickly notices three masked men standing behind her. The Alliance of Wrestling's Finest? It's not clear... what is clear, though, is that they are all wielding baseball bats.
David Blazenwing: I can UNMAKE you.
Blazenwing moves to shove the cameraman down, and the camera catches nothing but the ceiling of Blazenwing's office, accompanied by the unmistakable sounds of wooden baseball bats meeting human flesh and a woman screaming in agony, crying out in vain for a savior that would never come. Fade to ringside.
BWF TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS
Angelic Marvels vs. Star Struck
The bell rang and the Anaheim fans settled in to what would become a fairly by the numbers affair, with a couple of flashy moves thrown in here and there to keep the crowd pumped up. Star nearly defeated Xaria twice; once following his Leaping kick to the back of the head, which Xaria kicked out of, and once minutes later with his Rock-n-Roll (Ranhei), which Gabe broke up before the three count. Although Star and Andy fought to keep Xaria in the ring and quartered from her partner, they couldn't keep her away for long, and once Gabe got the hot tag, he cleaned house before catching the then-legal man, Andy Sensation, with his Foreshadowing (Styles Clash) for the three count and the Championship victory!
WINNERS AND NEW BWF TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS: Gabe Shelley and Xaria Linette, via Pinfall
Following the match, Star Diamond snapped, laying out Xaria at ringside with a wicked chair shot to the skull. Gabe attempted to intervene, and momentarily kicked Star's ass, but Andy came to and the two double teamed Gabe before double DDTing him onto the same chair that had laid out Xaria. Star then clamped the chair around Gabe's formerly broken hand and, as Andy held him down, leapt from the ring barricade to the floor onto the chair, potentially shattering Gabe's hand once again. Gabe gripped his hand in agony as the team of Star Struck grabbed the BWF Tag Team Titles and ran into the crowd, fleeing the arena as the EMTs checked on Gabe and Xaria.
Fail is Fail, Not Fail is Success
Jethro sits in his locker room, his Iphone ear buds in his ear the music coming out from them sounds a bit like Korn, but we just can't be totally sure. Jethro looks up at the camera, a grim smile on his face as he was loosening up for his match later this evening.
Jethro Hayes: "I know you are here for some words on the match later tonight, so let me get down to business right from the start."
Jethro is already dressed in his overalls, the straps aren't hooked though as he is going to wait until right before he leaves to do that last minute detail.
Jethro Hayes: "Alex, I'm wondering where you are getting your definition for the word "fail." See, any time I've ever checked it out the word means you didn't get the job done..."
A shrug.
Jethro Hayes: "I look back at my own record and notice that I've failed many times, many that I don't want to remember and some that I look back on and know I put on one hell of a match."
Another shrug.
Jethro Hayes: "But a loss is fail, no matter what American Dictionary you are using, but maybe you've discovered some other meaning for the word? Let me explain, you can have a great school year, but if you fail the certain test you have to pass in order to move on to the next grade... you fail the entire grade and repeat that particular grade."
He holds up a second finger.
Jethro Hayes: "You lose a match, while you may have put on the match of the night, nearly pulled out a victory, but if you didn't win... then you failed."
He holds up a third finger.
Jethro Hayes: "You may be a great guy, great athlete, but if you fail a steroid test... no one gives a damn because... your successful career, just got blacked marked because you... you got it... failed."
He shakes his head.
Jethro Hayes: "Fail is fail, not fail is success."
He taps his phone, stopping the music that is Korn's "Schutes and Ladders"
Jethro Hayes: "In a four-way match, of course three people are going to lose, that means that three people are going to fail... no matter the match."
He looks back up into the camera.
Jethro Hayes: "But you want to talk about out ranking me, being higher up on the totem pole so to speak..."
He smiles knowingly at the camera.
Jethro Hayes: "That is why I was put right into the Havok Main Event for a #1 Contender's slot for the BWF World Championship.. right? Sure you out rank me in BWF... for now, but then again I haven't had a match in BWF... tonight's main event being my first."
He cracks his neck.
Jethro Hayes: "But keep thinking you are this, you are that, you out rank me, you do this and that again... because at the end of the Main Event... we'll just have to see who out ranks who... enjoy your higher status for now.."
He smiles.
Jethro Hayes: "You can look down on me for now... because at the end of the match... you'll not only be looking up at the lights, you'll also be looking up to me... the BWF #1 Contender to the BWF World Championship."
The camera fades back to ringside.
BWF UNITED STATES CHAMPIONSHIP
Matt Stone vs. Finale ©
In what may have easily been the match of the night, Matt Stone and Finale went head to head, toe to toe, neither man able to keep ahead of the other for long. Stone surprised the Champion by meeting him hold for hold, and this may have thrown a lesser man off his game, but not Finale, who was determined to teach Stone a lesson as both men captured numerous near falls in this match. Unfortunately for Finale, that lesson would not come tonight, as Stone reverted to his weasel like, cheating ways - after "accidentally" backing up into the referee, temporarily sending the ref stumbling, Finale ran at Stone, whoc caught him with a quick kick to the junk, followed up by an even quicker C-C-C-C-Combo Breaker! (Codebreaker) for the upset victory(?) over the man now formerly undefeated (and formerly the U.S. Champion!) in the BWF!
WINNER AND NEW BWF UNITED STATES CHAMPION: Matt Stone, via Pinfall
After the match, Stone grabbed the United States Championship and stumbled up the ramp, grinning like a mad man.
Meanwhile, Finale, realizing what just happened, shot a look to kill at the new BWF U.S. Champion while being handed his AoWF King O' Extreme Title. This one is far from over.
Five Weeks Away!
Psst... Hey You! Yeah, You!
The cameras go backstage as The Big O limps towards the dressing rooms, holding a bag of ice to the back of his head; he stops for a second and looks directly ahead of him, the camera pulls back to reveal Stryker Cloud.
Stryker Cloud: You wanna know how to get your stupid looking title back?
Big O: It's not stupid!..... How?
Stryker Cloud: Come with me.
The cameras fade to ringside.
BWF WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
#1 CONTENDER'S MATCH
Alexander O'Ryan vs. Jethro Hayes
Jethro Hayes, the former PWA World Champion, made his BWF debut in this contest, one match away from a potential Championship contest against Gabe Shelley... but to get there, he would need to defeat the man who nearly won that same Championship a few weeks prior at Honor Bound: Night One. Jethro made good on his word as the match progressed, keeping O'Ryan at bay as he slowly wore the man down. O'Ryan got a handful of good shots in, but for the most part, this match was almost all Jethro. As Hayes zeroed in on the victory, he locked O'Ryan into The Combine Seat (Sharpshooter) but before O'Ryan could submit, a young boy leapt over the ring barricade and ran up the steps and into the ring!
Nick Webb was quick to identify the young boy as O'Ryan's son, but what he was doing in the ring was anybody's guess! The young boy distracted Jethro, pleading with him to "stop hurting his daddy"! Jethro kept the hold locked in, but the boy burst into tears, at which point Hayes finally broke the hold and started yelling at the ref to "get this kid out of the ring"! (Why security wasn't doing so was anybody's guess.) The referee hoisted the young boy up and escorted him, kicking and screaming, to ringside. Meanwhile, Jethro lifted O'Ryan up to prepare him for one of his impact finishers... when O'Ryan catches him with his Four Best Friends (Knockout Punch) finishing maneuver - with Brass Knuckles on! As the ref turned back to the action, O'Ryan quickly slid the knucks out of the ring and covered Hayes for the three count and the very tainted victory!
WINNER: Alexander O'Ryan, via Pinfall
After the match, the fans booed loudly as O'Ryan's son ran back into the ring and the two hugged. O'Ryan then hoisted his son onto his shoulders, crowd still booing, and motioned for gold around his waist standing over the fallen Jethro Hayes as Havok fades to the BWF logo, then to black.
