Episode 163 - March 10, 2014
Nick Webb: Welcome to Monday Night Havok! We are live from the K-Rock Centre in Kingston, Ontario, Canada, just two weeks away from the historic return of Tainted Twilight to pay-per-view!
Rayne: Tonight, we're going to find out who will challenge Casey Campbell for the BWF World Championship in the main event of that show with the main event of this show! And it could literally be anybody! We'll also see the debut of some fantastic new talent, a #1 Contender for the International Title will be determined and the current International Champion, Vespertine, will do battle against the Sovereign Champion, Zoe Cooper, in a rare Champion vs. Champion contest!
Nick Webb: Let's kick things off with our opening contest... Kristy Jackson debuts against Chris Maverick! Let's go to the ring!
Referee Seth Williams calls for the bell and we’re underway with Kristy and Chris locking up, Kristy having the height advantage is able to back Chris up against the ropes, Seth looking for a clean break and getting one from Kristy, who backs up towards the center of the ring, a slightly annoyed Chris Maverick follows her in and once again initiates a lock up. Kristy once again tries to overpower him, but this time Chris ducks behind her, capturing her right arm with a hammerlock. Chris torques Kristy’s right arm to the point where Kristy has to get out immediately, and she does just that by dropping to her knees and flipping her hips slightly to the side, catapulting Chris over her head and to the mat. With both competitors getting up at the same time, Chris is knocked down back to the mat with a standing dropkick, Kristy nursing her right arm slightly.
Nick Webb: Quick start here for these two debuters.
Rayne: It looks like Kristy might already be injured here.
Maverick gets to his feet again and his kicked in the ribs, and then again a little higher, backing him up into the turnbuckle, Kristy looking to bring offense without using her arm. She mounts Chris in the corner and starts sending her left fist, not right, down on Maverick as the crowd counts along with her, getting to a 10 before Seth counts to five for a disqualification, isn't that always the way? Kristy gets down and whips Chris across the ring, following him in for a shoulder tackle, but Maverick slips out of the way and Jackson finds the steel turnbuckle for her trouble!
Rayne: Well if she wasn’t injured before, she might be now!
Nick Webb: Chris Maverick will need to capitalize on this!
Kristy, still in the corner holding her shoulder, is pulled backwards with school boy from Maverick, but she kicks out at two. Both get to their feet, Kristy a little slower still nursing her shoulder. Maverick starts working her over, lifting her up for a flapjack, but tilting her in the air so she falls down on her right side, injuring her shoulder further. Maverick gets another two count for this, but keeps up the pressure, grasping Kristy’s right arm and locking her in an armbar. The crowd start getting behind the blonde as she fights to her feet, elbowing Maverick in the ribs with her left elbow thrice, loosening the grip enough to get away and hit the ropes, and on the rebound she leaps in the air and drives her left fist square into the jaw of Maverick with her Final Assault (Superman Punch, with theatrics)! Wasting no time at all, she scrambles to the top rope and leaps off, much to the pleasure of the crowd, for her Suicide Attack (Swanton Bomb). Despite an awkward landing, she hooks Chris’ leg and Seth finds the 1 2 3!
WINNER: Kristy Jackson, via Pinfall
"Headstrong" By Trapt begins to play over the BlazenTron as Kristy jumps up and celebrates. She heads to the corner and poses as the fans cheer loudly.
Nick Webb: What a debut and what a win for Kristy Jackson! Not taking anything away from Chris Maverick, but tonight was certainly Kristy's night!
Rayne: She impressed me, and I'm not easily impressed.
Nick Webb: Indeed. I see big things in Kristy's future, no doubt about it!
A Word of Warning
The camera shifts backstage, where we see one of the participants of tonight's main event, Elizabeth Davis, walking down a hallway. The crowd pops as she smiles at a handful of backstage officials, but she suddenly stops as she turns the corner... and we see why, when the camera pans over and we're greeted with the BWF C.E.O. Emily Corlen!
Emily Corlen: Liz.
Elizabeth Davis: Emily.
Emily Corlen: Hey, look, I've been meaning to pull you aside for a second before your match tonight.
Liz looks around for a moment, and finally nods.
Elizabeth Davis: I'm just heading to my locker room to get ready. What's up?
Emily Corlen: Look, I don't really know how to say this, but...
Emily pauses, looking for the right words.
Emily Corlen: Don't trust Matt out there tonight.
Liz chuckles a little, clearly becoming uncomfortable.
Emily Corlen: Remember the Dome in PWA? We were dating and he still screwed me out of my World Title without a second thought. I'm warning you, no matter what you think your relationship with him is... he doesn't care about anything or anyone except his next major title win. Just... don't turn your back on him like I did.
Emily leans in closer, her face showing genuine concern toward Liz.
Emily Corlen: Or he'll screw you, too. Good luck tonight. Seriously.
Emily pats Liz on the shoulder and smiles worriedly before turning and walking the other way. Liz stands there, pondering the C.E.O.'s warning, as the camera shifts back to the ring.
Jenni Flynt calls for the bell and one half of the BWF tag team champions, Austin Scott, wastes no time going on the attack, clubbing Roisid over the forehead with a forearm smash, knocking his opponent prone. Austin mounts his adversary and starts hammering punches down on him, obviously enraged after the actions of the Rejects last show. Jenni is able to get a break of the technically illegal move and Scott reluctantly backs off, allowing Roisid time to recuperate and stand. Scott closes the gap quickly, but gets a high kick to the temple for his trouble, followed up by a standing dropsault, knocking Scott back into a corner. Roisid follows this up with a running shoulder tackle, winding Austin temporarily. Roisid attempts to whip the cowboy across the ring, but Scott reverses and follows Roisid in for a clothesline, transitioning into a bulldog planting Roisid face first in the center of the ring.
Nick Webb: Austin Scott is looking determined here tonight.
Rayne: Probably wants to prove he can still win these pivotal singles matches.
Scott lifts Roisid up, doubling him over with a stiff kick to the midsection, hooking his head and driving him straight down to the mat with his Full Throttle (Inverted Overdrive). Austin goes for the cover here, but only gets a two count says referee Jenni Flynt. Austin gets to his feet, asking for the fans to start making some noise, which the Canadian fans are happy to do, stomping their feet as Roisid gets to his feet, and as Austin goes in for Straight Whiskey (Running lariat), Roisid is able to duck underneath in and wrap Scott’s legs with his own and flip him on his back and shoulders for a modified school boy, getting a near fall for his efforts. Sensing he’s in control now, Roisid waists for Scott to get up and goes in for the killing blow, his Cruel Punch (Knockout Punch), but Scott just sidesteps it and doubles Roisid over with a knee to the midsection, grasping Roisid’s extended arm and pulling it underneath him, lifting him up and driving him straight into the mat for his Law and Order (Pumphandle Slam)! The crowd cheers as Scott goes for the cover and gets the 3 count!
WINNER: Austin Scott, via Pinfall
"Kick It in the Sticks" by Brantley Gilbert hits the BlazenTron and Austin Scott stands up before hitting the corners, posing for the fans with his BWF Tag Team Title.
Nick Webb: A big win here tonight for Austin Scott, taking out the debuting Roisid.
Rayne: Let's hope for Zoe Cooper's sake that Austin's losing streak is behind him, or we could easily have new BWF Tag Team Champs once The Rejects get their title shot, be it at Tainted Twilight or beyond!
Happenstance? LIGHTS OUT!
Scott Benjamin: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome... AJ ADAMS!!!
“Lights Out” by P.O.D. kicks up in the arena as the crowd rises to their feet with a loud roar of cheers. The lights flash blue as spotlights flash around the arena. AJ Adams comes out onto the stage, in street clothes, to the cheers and looks around the stage and the crowd, taking it all in.
Respect I earned, started with the clique that I hanged
Respect I earned, ever since i got in this game.
Respect I earned, never wanting fortune or fame
Adams stands at the top of the ramp and points up to the sky.
Chiggy-check, microphone check
Chiggy-check, microphone check
It's Lights Out, Game Over
At “lights out”, AJ Adams pumps his arms and screams it with the song as a big pop of pyro goes off. He hops and as he throws his arms out and takes in the fans on the ramp. Adams starts to make his way all the way down the ramp and climbs up the steel steps, onto the apron, and climbs into the ring. Scott Benjamin hands him a microphone as the music dies down, the fans continuing to cheer. An “Adams” chant starts to fill the arena and he just smirks before starting to speak.
AJ Adams: Almost one year ago the BWF came back on the airwaves, almost 11 months exactly if you want to get down to it. A year ago I set out on a quest to come to the BWF and climb to the top of the ladder and become the BWF World Champion. Last March I began to think to myself about all of the goals that I would have if I came to the BWF and since that time I’ve achieved all of those goals. I defeated a bona fide legend in this business, I competed in brutal matches, I even became the BWF World Champion, twice.
The fans cheer as Adams looks around and the back down to the mat.
AJ Adams: Then I got caught up in my own head, I started to overthink things and couldn’t keep my groove and it showed. I don’t care if there was outside help in my matches or whatever it was on any given week to throw off my game. It took me a while to see that and at Survival of the Sickest, when I beat Outlaw, I cast away some of my demons. I put some things behind me and now I stand here without a goal and it feels weird. Let’s change that.
Adams leans into the nearest ropes and looks out into the crowd.
AJ Adams: I know it’s still a couple months away but how about we start with winning the Happenstance Rumble?
There’s a pop from the fans as Adams smirks.
AJ Adams: How about we start climbing back up and we use that as our first major milestone? Then after that we’ll go on to whatever event will be after that and then we will recapture the BWF World Championship in the middle of the summer. This we I speak of is me and all of you.
The crowd enjoys the cheap pop as Adams points out to the crowd.
AJ Adams: We will take this ride together and it won’t matter who is standing in the way. I added to my legacy last year and I’m ready to write some more chapters in the book. Consider myself refocused and repurposed. Be prepared.
Adams drops the microphone as his music kicks back up as he looks around the arena.
Nick Webb: I don't believe it! AJ Adams has officially entered the 2014 Happenstance Tournament!
Rayne: Last year at Happenstance, he defended the BWF World Title in an unforgettable match. This year, could he win the whole tournament itself?
Nick Webb: If 2013 was the Year of AJ, then 2014 could very well be the Year of AJ's Rebirth! Folks, we have a lot more Havok for you tonight... we'll be right back!
Havok fades to commercial.
Wild and Young
“Dreamwave” by Vogel hits the BlazenTron as that familiar roar of a V8 engine echoes through the arena, the shiny black Pontiac fire-bird roles into the arena, its engine revving every so often to get the fans pumped, though most of them booed because they knew who was driving it. The car came to a stop and of course, the driver leapt out of his seat through the window, revealing that it was in fact Scorpio.
Rayne: Here comes my favorite for tonight's International Title #1 Contender's Match! He reminds me of a slightly younger me. Maybe more like a twin brother.
Nick Webb: Oh, lord.
He adjusted his jacket a little bit and smirked to the fans who were booing him before he made his way down to the ring, his music still playing, and somehow his stride was in tune with the music playing, he made his way up the steel steps and then into the ring, grabbing a microphone from the side. He looked to Scott Benjamin though who was still standing in the ring.
Scorpio: Go on, tell them who I am.
Scott Benjamin looked at him awkwardly before he brought the microphone up to his lips.
Scott Benjamin: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome... Scorpio!
Scorpio looked him over a bit before he turned to the crowd.
Scorpio: Why thank you Scott, but I think I truly need no introduction anymore, in fact, I've been the talk of the town since my first appearance, let's be honest, when a relatively unknown star emerges from the blackest depths, and beats his opponent so hard into the ground she quits that night... well, let's just say I'm ready to handle the heat that comes with that...
Scorpio chuckled lightly, though the fans were booing him loudly and proudly.
Scorpio: Oh, please. I'm sure you all were big Kelly Keagan fans but now she's gone back to the land of maple syrup and socialism. She was merely a stepping stone for me on my path to greatness, and like a stepping stone, I'll forget it as soon as I've taken my foot off it to move to the next one... and who are the next two stepping stones you ask... why if you dull witted fans had been watching you'd know that Akemi Hayashi and Toco are going to be the next on the soon to be long list of beaten foes.
He shook his head.
Scorpio: I'll say it before and I'll say it again, I'll be happy when I'm finally out of this stinking low card where all the riffraff are allowed in, I mean, Emily Corlen must've been really happy with my performance in separating the wheat from the chaff last week that she wants to see how fast these two will quit when I'm done with them.
He smirked a little, looking out to the crowd.
Scorpio: Akemi Hayashi is like a five year old who never came down from her first sugar rush, she's about 100 miles away from ever truly being able to be a contender when compared to me, and I'll be truly surprised if that chick decides to come out to the ring tonight, but let's be honest, she's too stupid to not come out, the moment she heard she'd have a chance to fight for a shiny thing, that's probably all she thought about. Well, unfortunately all she's going to see is black after my boot wrecks her face even more than it already is!
The crowd booed with no vigor and Scorpio just extended his arms, accepting all the lovely boos.
Scorpio: And let's not forget Toco, the self-proclaimed top of the food chain guy, who hasn't held a title or been relevant since 2004, the guy has had shot after shot after shot at getting a title, and what does he do? Blow it when it really matters, sure he might pick up one or two wins, but hey, a broken clock is right twice a day. Toco, you aren't ready to hold gold, in fact, you never were ready to hold any of the big brass rings, your talent, your record, and your life all tell me that you are just a big waste of air, and I look forward to making you cry tonight... like a little bitch.
Scorpio drops the mic on the ring and puts his hands up making a “Come at me” Gesture.
Nick Webb: Strong words from one of the three competitors about to vie for a shot at the International Championship. Don't change the channel; it starts right after these words from our sponsors!
Scorpio, Toco and Akemi both stand in three corners of the ring, the ref checks to make sure all three of them are ready for the match, he then calls for the bell and all three of them come out swinging, Akemi though, like a drunken humming bird, comes flying out of her corner screaming a warrior princess war cry and quickly rocks Toco's skull with a wild shining wizard! Scorpio backs right the fuck off as Akemi goes for an early pin, but Toco tosses her off violently and gets up to his feet, Scorpio slips out of the ring chuckling to himself, making remarks about Akemi and Toco to the fans.
Nick Webb: Scorpio already looks like he's realizing these two aren't going to be pushovers.
Rayne: Or he's simply amused at how right he was about them being pushovers.
Toco regains his composure in his corner as Akemi comes flying back at him with a flurry of rights and lefts to the gut of the former world champion, Though Toco fires back with a series of hard right elbows then chucks Akemi into the corner, then takes a few steps back, runs towards her and leaps through the hair crushing The Fizz with a sickly stinger splash! Akemi nearly collapses in the corner as Toco looks to the other side of the ring where he sees Scorpio chatting it up with a lovely lady ring-side, Toco shakes his head and bolts for the ropes, rebounding off of them he runs back to the other side of the ring and flies over the top rope, coming down over the unsuspecting Scorpio, who only had milliseconds to record before Toco came crashing down upon him!
Nick Webb: OH MY GOD!
Rayne: PIGS CAN FLY, NICK! HA!
Toco is on fire as he leaps up to his feet let out a huge roar, he grabs Scorpio by the back of the neck and pulls him up before he lifts him up onto his feet, then Toco heaves him up onto his shoulders, looking red in the face he lifts Scorpio up over his head a final time then drops him right onto the barricade! Scorpio slumps over and falls off the barricade holding his gut.
Nick Webb: Scorpio's in a bad way here. He's quickly realizing why Toco is held in such high regard here in the BWF.
Toco is able to live in the moment for just a few seconds before a flying Akemi Hayashi leapt from the top rope nearest them and took down Toco with a flying head scissors! All three contenders had made it to the outside of the ring, Akemi was picking herself up, dusting off her knees, she notices Scorpio still laid out and tries to pick him up to throw him into the ring, but when Scorpio is helped to his feet and wrenches out of Akemi's grasp and backs up, bringing Akemi down with a stunning spinning heel kick! Akemi hits the floor outside and Scorpio gets up quickly and throws her under the bottom rope, but as he's about to jump in Toco rushes into Scorpio and begins to throw left and rights, Scorpio takes them like Glass Joe from Punch-Out! and turtles to the floor when Toco hits him with a hard European upper-cut!
Rayne: No, Scorpio! Block punches with your hands, not your jaw! Bob, THEN weave!
Toco gets into the ring under the bottom rope and rolls Akemi up for a pin, Toco manages to get a two count but Scorpio had pulled Akemi's foot to the ropes, the ref caught it half a second before he counted three, Toco looked at Scorpio who just shrugged his shoulders and gave him a “Whatcha gonna do about it” look. Toco went to grab at Scorpio over Akemi, who with lightning quick reflexes, grabbed Toco in a roll up pin! Scorpio then pulled Akemi out of the pin and out of the ring and dropped her with a hard clothesline!
Nick Webb: Toco nearly gets it there, but Scorpio saves the match, and gives Akemi a nasty clothesline for her trouble.
Scorpio then jumped into the ring and picked Toco up only to pull him into a DDT and drop him hard on his head! Scorpio rolls him over for a pin! But only picks up a two count when Toco throws his shoulder up, Scorpio thought had the win but regretful goes to pick Toco up again, who this time as he gets up to his feet, charges Scorpio and shoves him back into the corner, driving his shoulder into Scorpio's gut, already injured from the barricade.
Rayne: Like it or not, Toco's still got some fight left in him, Nick!
Nick Webb: Like it? I love it! Toco's showing why he's a Hall of Famer tonight!
Toco then pulls back and begins to drive his thick skull into Scorpio's thick skull, bashing them hard enough that he begins to draw blood from both contenders! Toco is fired up once again! Scorpio is bloodied, Toco is bloodied! Whose blood is it? Toco Irish whips Scorpio out of the corner and into another where he bounces off the turnbuckle! Scorpio comes back and Toco catches him into a To-Cutter from out of nowhere!
Rayne: No!
Nick Webb: To-Cutter! This one's OVER!
Scorpio goes down! Toco hooks the leg for a pin! 1... 2! No! Akemi is in the ring! She breaks up the pin with a hard boot to the back of Toco's skull and begins to kick him relentlessly Toco gets up to his knees though he's still taking hard kicks to the chest, Toco is dazed from the kicks, Akemi takes her chance and rushes for the ropes she then bounces off them and using Toco's shoulder as leverage, she brings her foot down hard onto his skill with her special Grapey Marshmallow Fizz! (Shining Axe kick!) Laughing at the fallen Toco, she turns to face Scorpio now who had just gotten up and pulls Akemi in for a modified yet still ruthless Dreamwave! (basically, instead of lifting her up for the Dreamwave he just hit her with the cutter portion!) Akemi is down! Scorpio is the only one left standing for the most part, looking a bit dazed still from the To-Cutter, and a sly grin grows across his face as he drops down into the cover! 1! 2! 3! Scorpio pins Akemi and wins the match!
WINNER: Scorpio, via Pinfall
"Dreamwave" by Vogel hits the BlazenTron as Scorpio rolls out of the ring and smiles cockily. He makes his way up the ramp as Toco comes to, realizes what happened and pounds the mat in frustration.
Nick Webb: Damn shame for Toco... he came so close to winning this match and getting the shot at the International Title, but the newcomer Scorpio was just one step ahead of him.
Rayne: That's the rules of a three-way, though! No matter how hard you try, if one of your opponents pins the other, you lose without even being involved!
Nick Webb: Indeed. Congratulations to Scorpio, who I assume will battle with Vespertine for the International Championship in two weeks at Tainted Twilight. That should be a match for the ages!
Rayne: And speaking of Vespertine, she's in non-title action, as she takes on the Sovereign Champion Zoe Cooper in a Champion vs. Champion Match! That match is next! Don't go anywhere!
The Plot Thickens
Elizabeth Davis is seen walking down the hall, obviously thinking over the words spoken to her earlier by BWF C.E.O. Emily Corlen. She stops outside a locker room and pushes the door open, walking in where Matt Stone is getting ready for the main event this evening. Stone is just acting up his boots when he turns to see the arrival of one of his partners and he gives her an acknowledging head nod before returning to his boots. His boots, of course, being far more interesting at this time. Nevertheless, Liz decides she needs to talk to him now, of all times, during his precious boot lacing ritual.
Elizabeth Davis: So I just spoke with Emily…
Matt Stone: Oh yeah? Fun times, no doubt.
He’s not really paying attention, it takes a certain amount of concentration to bring the laces through all those holes in opposite descending order.
Elizabeth Davis: She brought up the Dome of Destruction, you remember the one, where you won the PWA World Title?
Matt Stone: Oh yeah, I love talking about that match, one of my finest moments.
Elizabeth Davis: Well she doesn’t remember it as fondly as you do, and she actually made some good comparisons to that match and our match later tonight.
Uh-oh, red flag. Suddenly Stone’s boots can wait as he turns to face Liz, eyeing her suspiciously.
Matt Stone: Oh did she?
Elizabeth Davis: She did, and it got me thinking, how do I know that the same won’t befall me?
Stone takes a deep breath and walks up to Liz, taking her hands and looking her straight in the eyes.
Matt Stone: Listen, you can trust me. I’m not the same person I was in 2012, you know that. We got this.
Elizabeth Davis: Matt, I need you tonight.
Matt Stone: Forever’s gonna start tonight Liz.
She smiles, nodding to him, seeming slightly more upbeat than when she arrived.
Matt Stone: Now turn around, bright eyes, and go get ready.
Liz does just that, receiving a slap on the behind as she leaves the locker room, having Stone standing there, pondering exactly what the ramifications of that conversation could be.
Matt Stone: Forever indeed.
He gives himself a slight smirk and goes back to lacing his boots as we fade back out to ringside.

"Trained in the CM Punk School Style Of Shooting"
(Without fanfare or music, Vespertine comes out to the top of the entrance ramp and starts to address the audience. The audience gives her a weak reaction because this is not the usual Vespertine they know. What they know is all pomp and glitter and glory.)
V: So.... Zoe is being Zoe and telling it like it is. I'm an underwear model? For Calvin Klein? Really? I whine and complain about losing and not getting chances. When was this, Zoe? Huh? When have I, Vespertine, EVER complained about losing and not getting chances. I've lost more times than you have actually been in the ring. See, Zoe, what you are is a hypocritical, two faced, poster child for David Blazenwing and Emily Corlen. I don't whine or complain about anything. I don't ever complain about getting chances. I don't get chances. I have to make my own luck. But you, Zoe, you are the silver spooned kid of this federation. You were handed everything. You never had to work, you never even had to lift a finger. I bet you weren't even that good at giving David or even Emily a blow job.
(The audience boos her but she laughs and shrugs it off)
Oh no, let me tell you about your hero, Zoe Cooper. She was handed a title right from day one. She was handed a mentor in Elena and she used Elena for her own purposes before she figured out that she outgrew Elena and then put Elena on the shelf. During that, she was handed another title, a tag team title which not only has she never defended, but she hasn't even put in the amount of work in the ring that comes with it. She rode along on Elena's coattails and now is riding along on Austin's. Only to take the spot light away from both of them so she can have it on her. Her win/loss record? Pfff, that's jacked up. She is given easy opponents because she screws David and now is screwing Austin, who is really David's behind the scenes hand picked ally. Win? Yeah, did you think you win because of your ring abilities or David paid off your opponent to "let" you win. I think it's more of the latter than the former.
(The crowd is getting more silent but there are boos interspersed with it.)
Your the fake one, Zoe Cooper. You never had to work a single day in your life. You don't even know what it means to work hard and reap the benefits. And according to you, you work your ass off to get where you are at. Odd since you never even knew about wrestling a few months before you joined. You had no idea what a submission hold was, you had no idea how to do high flying manuever. You didn't know about any of the ways you could pin a person.
(She pauses and smiles)
And here is the kicker, you don't care either. You aren't here full time like I am. You merely put in your time, you show up, you blow David, and you are set for a win. Come on, you had it easy up to now. I'm here full time, working my ass off, helping behind the scenes as well as up front. I have been doing this for some time and you just started...what... yesterday. You're a paper champion. You're also Dave's poster child who he continually goes for to get a good blow job. I'm the real ring warrior that you claim you are. I talk the game, I walk the game, I live this industry, I breathe this industry, I sleep wrestling, and you, Zoe, are just a mere dabbler in the arts of sports entertainment. You make this look like a joke. You make everyone in the locker room like like fools and idiots. Because you put in your part time, show, wrestle, leave. That's it. You don't know what a turnbuckle is. You don't know what a storyline is. You have no idea how to take a fall or an impact. You have no idea how to do proper holds. You, are the John Cena of the BWF set.
(Her smile gets wider and the boos just keep on coming)
Yeah, I complain and whine but I don't have too when telling the truth is so much easier. You aren't the good little Zoe Cooper everyone thinks you are. How you manage to wrap Dave around your finger is beyond me but you have him, hook line and sinker. You've had him before you even walked through the door. You must be really good in bed. Not like I ever want to find out. Emily must be better for you though. At least I keep my sexuality out there for everyone to see, you are a closet raging nymph who'd rather have girls than guys. Come on, Zoe, when are we going to see that you actually screw Austin. On camera sex action. When are we going to see the fact that you two are the new "IT" team around here like Stephanie and Hunter. Oh, are you embarassed by Austin? I would agree. He's just a south Texas redneck with an IQ of 2. He embarasses you because of how dumb he is but you screw him anyway because he's your next "project" like Elena was. But then that project failed and you shelved it. I wonder how long it will be before you shelf Austin.
(She thinks mockingly for a second)
Or maybe there is no you and Austin. The writers just want you to say that to make us believe it. And you're still screwing Elena. Whatever. I don't care. But before you talk about me, my chances, my win loss record, think long and hard and then put in the time like I have. Put in the amount of work it takes to become better than the rest of us without having to ask Dave for a favor. You're nothing Zoe. You never were, and you still aren't. You don't even win by luck. Everything you have won you have been handed. Zoe Cooper: The Silver Spooned Kid of BWF. She only has to raise an eyebrow and she gets what she wants. Ooops, I broke wall number 4.
(She looks at the camera and waves)
Hi MOM!
(She smiles again)
Am I jealous because of this? Yes and no. I'm jealous because I don't get the same treatment. But then I work harder than she ever will. You don't know a thing about this industry and you don't care, you don't belong in wrestling, you belong in some cosplay convention playing with the tween set. She doesn't even know how to wrestle, she doesn't know how to make an opponent "look good" at taking a fall.
(She pauses)
And like I said. Zoe has had an easy time here. She has the writers wrapped around her finger as well. Her best plot was when she knew that somewhere she would have to face Elena. She knew Elena was better than her in every way possible even wrestling ability which neither her or Zoe have much of I might add. So she went to Dave, who went to the writers and told them "Zoe won't ever face Elena. Put them together, make them win." And deep down, Zoe was pleased. Because she knew if she faced Elena, she wouldn't win. She isn't good enough to wrestle. So take the obstacle out of the picture, make her a mentor, and then can her. Her other opponents? Kelly, Akemi, Ian. They are so much better than Zoe will ever be but Zoe has Dave and Emily in her pocket so she really never has to lose a match again. Why? Because Zoe is the silver spooned princess of BWF and hates losing. Almost as much as she hates me. Zoe has teamed up with Gabe now to make my life a living hell. They see me as a threat. They know I'm working my way up the ranks. So they are going to do everything they can to "write me off". So far, Zoe and Gabe have done a bang up job. I jobbed to Minstrel. I jobbed to Austin.
(She pauses again)
No. I didn't just lose to Austin. Zoe wanted to squash me but Austin thought better of it and didn't want the belt anymore or something. He knew I was better than him in ring ability but he wanted to make it as shallow win as possible. What to throw in here. HEY! Let's throw Akemi into the mix, steal Austin's hat. This way, because I out RPed ah um er, out promoed Austin and made him look bad, he is going to "let me win" and have Akemi help me win. That's great, whatever works for you.
(She stops and looks at the camera again)
OOPS! I broke wall number 5. Hi GEOFF!
(She shrugs and goes on. The audience weakly laughs)
So Zoe sees me as a threat. So somewhere in there, I'll be written up as a loss and I'll lose in the worst way possible. Someone will come out and help Zoe tonight, like Austin, who, for the record, doesn't even belong in this match let alone this universe, because I am better at wrestling than she is but I make her look bad because of it, so I'm written to lose. Can we say BS here? I call shenanigans. You can declare them if you want, I call them. Ooops, I broke wall number 6. Hi BWF.com Shoutbox groupies!
(She smiles and waves to the camera, then continues)
So, people, I'm sorry to say, that yet again, your hometown hero Zoe is the reject power behind all of this. I worked my ass off since day one. I outpromoed Minstrel, Rejects, Austin and Zoe and I still lose. I can outwrestle everyone here and yet I'm seen as a jobber. That is major BS. Emily knows what I can do and yet she keeps me down. She keeps writing me to lose. I'm not a threat. I'm good at what I do, I work hard at what I do. And I still get jobbed. I jobbed to Mistrel and he left. I jobbed to Kelly and she left. I jobbed to the Rejects, I jobbed to both Austin and Zoe. And you know what, my skills are better in some other federation where they are appreciated.
(She sighs and goes on)
You have no idea how frustrated I am because I lose like that. How frustrated half the roster is because Gabe and Zoe have Emily and Dave's ear. And not only do I lose I'm supposed to be written as a loss. I'm supposed to job. I'm done here. This place is way too power heavy. I want to win but I won't ever win because Zoe, Gabe, and even Dave probably won't let me win. I'm better than everyone and anybody here. I outpromo everyone, I do my CDs, I help with the matches and what do I get? Not a damn thing. No respect. Nobody that even legitimately wants to be a friend, tag partner or anything else. Nobody likes me here, nobody trusts me here. Nobody wants me here, I can see that so why am I here. To job to Zoe. To be Gabe's scapegoat. You ever see how hard he trolls me in the BWF shoutbox and the BWF twitter page. He likes to belittle me and berate me and yet it's only me and NOBODY else. Matt Stone used to berate me but saw my skills and abilities and liked what he saw. Gabe didn't, still doesn't, has the writer's team ear and Corlen's ear and so I'm scheduled to lose yet again. Why did I lose to Austin because, behind the scenes, Austin had a college paper to write.
(She stops)
So there you have it. This place is a joke. I'm one of the best wrestlers here, I have been here longer than some of the new people and I'm still a jobber. I can see I'm not wanted here, I can see it's only going to get worse. So I'm out of here.
(She gets up, the crowd is silent until she says)
Right after I wrestle Zoe, and job to her because lord knows she needs her win/loss record padded some more. You people can take your silver spooned princess. I'm not getting anywhere while she is here and I can't go up because her, only go down and Gabe and Dave and Emily want to see me at the bottom. I'm done with being at the bottom. Zoe your a fake wannabe wrestler who will see this promo, this shoot and cry behind the scenes to make me lose some more. Go cry to mommy Corlen and have her pad your win/loss record some more. Then when she satisfies you, go blow David. Buddha only knows he really deserves it. Yeah.
(She throws the mic down and starts walking down the ramp, the crowd boos louder)
The silence continues as Vespertine walks down to the ring and climbs inside with the same scornful look on her face.
Scott Benjamin: The following contest is scheduled for ONE fall! Already in the ring, she is the current and reigning BWF International Champion... she hails from San Francisco, California... weighing in at 115 pounds... she is VESPERTINE!!!
Nick Webb: I'm... really not sure how to explain what we just witnessed there, Rayne. I mean, I think Vespertine was going for some kind of... what, pipebomb promo?
Rayne: More like a ten cent bag of pop rocks. That entire inane promo didn't even make sense! What is she talking about writing for? Outpromoing people? Who the hell is Geoff? And why did she keep name dropping Dave? He hasn't worked here since WrestleFest!
Nick Webb: Also, I don't think Emily Corlen has a penis!
Rayne: (hesitates) Weeeeeellllllll...
Nick Webb: Oh, stop it.
Scott Benjamin: And introducing her opponent, she is the current and reigning BWF Sovereign Champion and one half of the BWF Tag Team Champions... she hails from Billings, Montana... weighing in tonight at 140 pounds... she is ZOE COOPER!!!
"Happy" by Pharrell Williams hits the BlazenTron but almost as soon as it does, Zoe Cooper bursts through the curtain, running full speed toward the ring. She slides inside and immediately tackles Vespertine, throwing wild punches as the bell rings.
DING!
Rayne: CATFIGHT!
Nick Webb: After Vespertine's little promo, Zoe Cooper is pissed off and rightfully so!
Zoe lays into Vespertine with punches for what seems like minutes. Finally, she peels herself off of the International Champion and moves over to the nearest corner, kneeling down and screaming at Vespertine to get up. Vespertine groggily stumbles to her feet and Zoe leaps out from the corner, catching Vespertine right between the eyes with the Face Replacer (Running Bryan-Style Knee)!
Nick Webb: FACE REPLACER FROM THE SOVEREIGN CHAMPION!
Zoe immediately shifts her weight into the Z-Clamp (Dragon Sleeper with Scissors) and pulls back as hard as she can, screaming like a banshee. Seconds later, Vespertine has no choice and must tap out.
DING DING DING!!!
WINNER: Zoe Cooper, via Submission
"Happy" by Pharrell Williams hits the BlazenTron, but Zoe refuses to let go of the hold. Vespertine goes limp and several BWF officials, along with referee Bryan Swanson, finally pull her off. She kicks Vespertine a few times, almost frothing at the mouth. The officials separate her and she goes to exit the ring, still shaking with anger. She stops just before she goes through the ropes, walks over to the corner and points right at the top turnbuckle, yelling "BY THE WAY, THIS IS A TURNBUCKLE!" before finally leaving the ring.
Nick Webb: Well, then. Despite the music playing, Miss Cooper is anything but happy here tonight, and I can't say I blame her.
Rayne: For once, I'm with you. Extremely unprofessional on Vespertine's part. But, if she's really leaving, what happens to the International Championship?
As if on cue, "The Look" by Roxette hits and BWF C.E.O. Emily Corlen walks onto the stage, looking just as irate as Zoe standing at ringside.
Emily Corlen: You wanna throw a little temper tantrum and "shoot"? You want to walk out on BWF after all the opportunities you were handed that you wasted? Not with my gold, you're not! Scorpio, get out here! Your title match happens RIGHT NOW!
The Kingston crowd pops loudly as they can sense history in the air - Vespertine is still out cold in the center of the ring. "Dreamwave" by Vogel hits and the officials in the ring scatter as Scorpio makes his way down the ramp quickly, grinning like a wild man. He slides into the ring and the music cuts as the bell rings.
DING!
Nick Webb: I don't believe it! This match is going to happen right now! Vespertine is defenseless!
Scorpio grabs Vespertine by the hair and lifts her limp body up. He hoists her onto his shoulder and without missing a beat, drops her hard in the center of the ring with The Dreamwave (Tommy Dreamer's TommyHawk). The crowd, solidly against Vespertine despite booing Scorpio earlier tonight, pops loudly as Scorpio covers with one elbow casually draped over Vespertine's chest.
1!
2!

WINNER AND NEW BWF INTERNATIONAL CHAMPION: Scorpio, via Pinfall
"Dreamwave" by Vogel hits the BlazenTron for the fourth time this evening, but this time, Scorpio comes up with ten pounds of gold in his left hand. He hoists the title in the air proudly, the Kingston, Ontario crowd now solidly behind him. Emily Corlen stands on the ramp and claps, smiling, as Scorpio hits the turnbuckles, posing cockily with the gold.
Nick Webb: Shades of Zoe Cooper winning the Sovereign Title on her first night here. Congratulations to Scorpio, the new BWF International Champion!
Rayne: What about Vespertine?
Nick Webb: You heard her earlier, she's outta here! She's just not leaving with the gold like she probably thought she would!
Scorpio rolls out of the ring and heads into the crowd, celebrating with the Canada natives as his music fades out. Emily stands on the stage, still brandishing her mic.
Emily Corlen: Uh, Ves? Ves, hon... can you hear me? Earth to lesbo! YO, VES!
In the ring, Vespertine still hasn't moved.
Emily Corlen: Alright, whatever. I don't have time for Kung Pow Bitch to wake up. Someone do me a favor, when C.M. Ves does come to, let her know she's fired. Oh, and let her know she can take her big, stupid giant of a friend Snake with her. Consider his BWF career collateral damage. Kay? Kay. Stay frosty, Ontario.
Emily heads back through the curtain. The camera settles again on Vespertine, who is still out cold in the ring.
Nick Webb: This is not how Vespertine envisioned tonight going, Rayne. Not at all. And now, John Roberts has been fired as well, simply for being associated with Vespertine!
Rayne: Hey, you run your mouth, you pay the piper. I'd say as International Champion, she was doing pretty well. Maybe if she was a better wrestler, things would have worked out differently. Well, cest la vie! See ya later, Ves! Don't let the door hit ya where the good lord and half of California split ya! HA!
We see one last shot of Vespertine out on the mat before Havok fades to commercial.
Coming Soon on Pay-Per-View
~ Live from the Centre Bell in Montreal, Quebec, Canada ~
March 24, 2014 - Only on Pay-Per-View
After the BWF World Champion made his entrance, the six combatants were all in the ring, looking across the ring at each other. Senior referee Mike Kosiboski calls for the bell and we’re underway. The Baha Men finally find out who let the dogs out as Stone dashes across the ring and leaps at Allen, who instinctively catches im and takes several right hands to the temple for his trouble. However, Matt has put himself into a three on one situation and is soon punished, being slammed down to the mat at the feet of three people eager to kick him to oblivion. To the rescue is Casey and Liz, each clobbering their respective targets, Jacob and Spyke. Casey and Jacob brawl through the ropes and to the floor, Liz tackles Spyke and they roll around jockeying for position and that leaves Allen still stomping on Stone, though he soon tires of that. Chaney lifts the Shooter up to his feet and shoots him off at the ropes, catching the rebounding Canadian with a quick powerslam, hooking his leg quick trying to get the win, but only netting a one count.
Nick Webb: Interesting, if Allen would have pinned Stone there, he would have been the new #1 Contender!
Rayne: Oh, is that how this match works? Idiot.
Spyke has cornered Davis in the turnbuckle, dazing her with a flurry of kicks, allowing for a double team of Stone from the Rejects, who drive Stone head first into the canvas with a Spyke piledriver. They have little time to celebrate though as the two of them are knocked prone from a double clothesline from the Champ. Casey grabs Gein and tosses him clear over the top rope and to the ground before Allen is up to his feet, who measures Campbell and flips him down on his back with a hard Belly to Belly suplex. Liz charges out of the corner and drops low, connecting with a low dropkick right on the right kneecap of Allen, which drops him almost instantly. Casey starts to get up, but he’s dropped down by Jacob who has resurfaced in the match, connecting with a running DDT. The two Canadians exchange a glance and both kick Jacob under the jaw with a double superkick. They turn are the same time towards the far corner and are both dropped by Spyke’s crossbody block. Stone is first up of the two victims and catches a spinning kick for his trouble. Allen is to his feet again and drops an elbow on Stone’s lower back before pushing him out of the ring under the bottom rope. Casey is starting to stir and the Rejects join hands and clothesline him over the top rope to the floor as well!
Nick Webb: Looks like they’re going to be isolating Elizabeth here in the ring.
Rayne: Makes sense, she is the girl.
Liz is backed up against the ropes with her three opponents all eyeing her, looking for an opening. Davis dashes towards the center of the ring at Jacob, who is still rubbing his jaw, but before she can make it, Allen lunges forward and knocks her straight down to the mat with a spear! Chaney lifts Elizabeth up and tosses her in the corner, pointing at Spyke to signal he should probably do something. Fortunately, something is Spyke’s speciality as he hits the opposite corner before he runs at Liz, executing his Rising Sun-of-a-bitch (Back Handspring elbow). Liz is hit with the elbow and stumbles out of the corner into Jacob, who grabs her right arm and pulls her in for his The Awakening (Bull Hammer Elbow)! Davis hits the mat after contact and Jacob goes for a pin, getting a two count before he’s pulled off by Allen. Chaney starts shouting at Jacob, who gets up and pushes Allen back. Jacob pushes back, but before an all out brawl can occur, Jacob is pulled down by his feet and pulled out of the ring by Casey. Campbell slams Jacob into the steel ring steps as Stone comes off the top rope and dropkicks Allen’s chest, knocking the bigger man down on the mat. As Stone is getting to his feet, he’s kicked in the head with a shining wizard by Spyke. Campbell is in the ring again and catches Spyke point blank PWNED!!! (Point-Blank Spear). Casey goes for a cover, looking to win the match, but at the two count Allen makes the save.
Nick Webb: Casey almost won this match right there!
Rayne: Smart move there by Allen to make the save at the two count, allowing maximum time to pass before breaking up the fall.
Casey and Allen start exchanging rights and lefts to one another, neither man backing down. It’s Casey who diverts first, hitting Allen with a questionable low kick to the gut, followed by a deep bear hug. Before long though, Casey shows off his strength with his Bear to Belly Suplex(Locking in a bear hug then when he weakens them he hits a Belly to Belly Suplex). As he gets up, Spyke is on the move, but he’s caught and driven to the mat with The Cool Down (Black Hole Slam). Casey gets up to cheers, but he’s quickly spun around and dropped to the mat face first by Jacob’s The Sacrifice (Inverted DDT). With Casey prone on the mat, the Rejects regroup and decide to bring the pain, starting with Spyke delivering a standing double stomp to Campbell’s midsection, leaving Allen to hit the ropes and come back, jumping in the air and falling down hard with a Senton Splash, Makin’ Pancakes! Up from his beating, Stone grabs Spyke from behind and drives him straight backwards, delivering his Stone Cutter (Inverted Backbreaker). Getting up, the Showman ducks as Jacob goes for a clothesline and Liz pulls down the top rope, sending Jacob up and over the ropes to the floor. Chaney dashes at Stone, but get’s caught right under the chin with a Go Go Gadget Foot! (Superkick). With Spyke on the mat, Liz turns her back to him and sets up her Standing Moonsault w/ Booty Pop, distracting Stone in the process who, after the moonsault connects, doesn’t realize that Jacob has re entered the ring and Matt eats a big boot from the larger man, knocking him backwards into the corner in a seated position.
Nick Webb: Stone got caught staring at Liz and didn’t see that coming!
Rayne: Can you really blame him though? Damn!
Assuming that Stone has her back, Davis starts to apply her Maple Leaf Lock on Spyke, who gets his free leg on her rear and pushes her forward into the arms of Jacob who doubles her over with a kick, pulling her in to set up for his Jacob's Ladder (The Neutralizer). He lifts Elizabeth in the air, but before he can execute the move, Casey clubs him from behind with A Brush of Greatness (Clothesline from Hell but to the back of the head; sets up for finisher). Jacob releases his hold of Liz as he falls through the ropes out of the ring. As Spyke is back up, he tries for a drop sault, but Casey blocks it, catching Spyke enough for a spinebuster. Allen tries to even the odds, but he’s drilled from the side by Davis’ Clock Strikes Midnight (Trouble in Paradise). Running out of the corner, Stone leaps in the air and grabs Casey’s head, driving him straight down with the C-c-c-c-combo Breaker! The crowd doesn’t know how to react as Liz goes for the cover on Chaney, Stone grabbing Spyke to prevent the break-up as Mike Kosiboski finds an uninterrupted three count!
WINNERS: Elizabeth Davis, Matt Stone and Casey Campbell, via Pinfall
Aftershock
Nick Webb: Oh my god, what did we just see?
Rayne: We just saw Elizabeth Davis become the new number one contender for Casey’s World title!
Nick Webb: Did Stone just sacrifice himself? Who saw THAT coming?
Rayne: I’ve been trying to tell you all along that Matt Stone is a stand up guy, not sure why no one believes me.
Liz gets up, seemingly shocked herself at what has transpired her, but she has the wherewithal to at least raise her arm up in victory, Stone rolling out of the ring, bowing to her as he backs up the ramp. Down the side of the ramp comes Katrina Evans holding a microphone, but rather than interviewing the winner of the match, she stops at Stone with a microphone.
Katrina Evans: Oh my god, Matt Stone, what just happened out there?
Before answering, Stone looks square into the camera in front of him and adjusts his hair slightly.
Matt Stone: Well Katrina, it’s quite simple. Liz just earned the right to challenge for the BWF World title.
Katrina Evans: Didn’t you want to win that match?
Matt Stone: Well, technically, we all won the match, and while I will be BWF World Champion at some point, I have other matters to take care of first. Plus, I just couldn’t resist one more time driving the blade into poor wittle Emily’s heart. It must crush her that I would do something so selfless for Liz when she thought she had me pegged. You want to know why I wouldn’t turn on Liz when I did you? It’s quite simple Emily, Elizabeth never claimed to be able to beat me, she never tried to emasculate me in front of the world, while you did. We both know in a straight up match, I could and would beat anyone here, but you always had to be better than me, didn’t you? Well news flash lady, no one is better than me! Whether I have a title or not, I’m the star of the show and yes, you did have it all once upon a time, at least, until you took a shot at the shooter. Now you’re nothing but a sideline attraction while I remain in the center ring. Bottom line Katrina? As long as I’m around, Emily will never get her way and no one can SHUT ME UP!
Nick Webb: After the situation with Vespertine earlier, I don't think it's smart on Matt Stone's part to poke the bear, so to speak.
Before Stone can continue, "The Look" hits the BlazenTron and Emily walks out onto the stage, irate.
Emily Corlen: You really picked the wrong night to do this, Tiger. I'll never get my way? I'm nothing but a sideline attraction?
Emily motions down to her body.
Emily Corlen: There was always a divide between Emily Corlen the wrestler and Emily Corlen the person. It's not my fault that 'Matt Stone' doesn't have an off switch and you're too damn deluded to figure out the difference on your own. The point is...
Emily slowly begins to unbutton her suit jacket and removes it, revealing her classic "Emerald Phoenix" ring singlet underneath to a big pop.
Emily Corlen: ...maybe you haven't noticed, but I'm not pregnant anymore. You're now talking to Emily Corlen the wrestler. And as of this moment, I'm making a match for Tainted Twilight. Matt Stone... versus EMILY CORLEN! I'll see you at Tainted Twilight, you self-absorbed piece of garbage!
Bigger pop.
Rayne: Is Emily Corlen insane? She hasn't wrestled a serious match since the Dome in 2012!
Nick Webb: Insane? No. She's a woman scorned, and after what Matt just had to say, I don't blame her one bit! Go get him, Emily!
Stone isn't sure how to react, somewhere between laughter and disbelief as Emily turns back and walks through the curtain, leaving Liz's entrance theme to begin playing again.
Nick Webb: Well folks, we're out of time here tonight, but we'll be back in two weeks' time with Tainted Twilight, only on pay-per-view! Elizabeth Davis challenges Casey Campbell for the BWF World Championship! And as we just learned, our own C.E.O., Emily Corlen, will be in action against the pay-per-view poster boy, Matt Stone! It's an event you won't want to miss! Good night from Kingston! We'll see you at Tainted Twilight!
We see one final shot of Liz in the ring, with Casey now standing in front of her, holding his title up and motioning for her to bring it, before Havok fades to the BWF logo, and then finally to black.
