Episode 151 - July 8, 2013
Nick Webb: Ladies and gentlemen, we are live on HBO! Welcome to Monday Night Havok, coming to you tonight from the Augusta Civic Center in lovely Augusta, Maine!
Rayne: We're just two short weeks away from the tenth anniversary of the BWF, and we're rolling into Madison Square Garden in style! We have six explosive matches for you tonight, a handful of debuts, some hotly-rumored returns, and so much more!
Legacy X-citement
"Radioactive" by Within Temptation hits the BlazenTron and the Augusta, Maine crowd rises to their feet, cheering loudly as the Owner of the Blazenwing Wrestling Federation, Emily Corlen, walks out onto the stage. She makes her way down the ramp and climbs the nearest steps before crossing into the ring from the apron by stepping through the middle and bottom ropes. The deafening reaction continues for the former multi-time World Champion as she makes her way around the ring, grinning and waving.
Nick Webb: Would you listen to this crowd reaction? It's safe to say these die-hard BWF fans like Emily Corlen.
Rayne: And why wouldn't they? She's responsible for resurrecting this company! Also, have you SEEN her ass? Daaaaaaaaamn.
The music dies down as Emily is handed a mic.
Emily Corlen: Welcome, everyone, to Monday Night Havok!
Another huge pop, this one for the BWF as a whole.
Emily Corlen: Now, we'll get things popping here in just a minute, but first things first. In thirteen days, Legacy X will air from Madison Square Garden in New York City. This landmark event will be broadcast on the exact day that the very first episode of Havok was ten years ago in 2003. It's a celebration like none other, and it's truly one I cannot wait to share with all of you.
Appreciative cheering from the crowd.
Emily Corlen: Now, of course, all of your favorite BWF Superstars will be there, live and in action. In the main event of that show, AJ Adams will defend the BWF World Championship against the #1 Contender, Elena Simonova. But, that's only the tip of the iceberg. See, Legacy X is an anniversary celebration... and what's an anniversary celebration without family?
Nick Webb: Family?
Emily Corlen: Over the past ten years, countless men and women have signed BWF contracts and stepped into this very ring, all in the name of entertaining all of you. Some of them, their names will resonate throughout the halls of the BWF forever. Some of them, they were forgotten the day they took their leave from the company. But all of them helped contribute in some way, shape or form to the very 'legacy' that we are celebrating on July 21. That's why some of them will be returning to the company for one night only... for one more chance to entertain all of you.
The crowd cheers louder at this.
Emily Corlen: Right now, I would like to bring your attention to a few men in particular that every single BWF fan will recognize. They're all former World Champions, they're all BWF Hall of Famers, and they will all be appearing at Legacy X in officially sanctioned BWF matches. Ladies and gentlemen, I give you --
"NEW-NEW-NEW WORLD ORDER..."
The familiar twangs of the New World Order theme song, "Rockhouse", fills the arena, cutting Emily off. The letters "nWo" start flashing on the BlazenTron and the crowd begins booing loudly as three men, all wearing branded black and white nWo t-shirts, step out from behind the curtain; Mark "K-Krush" Kinxx, J-Dizzle and The Big O. They make their way down the ramp and slide into the ring, surrounding Emily as their music fades.
Nick Webb: I'm going to go out on a limb here and suggest that these three men are not who Emily Corlen was about to reveal.
Rayne: No, but they ARE practically BWF royalty! Who can forget the night the nWo debuted, at WrestleFest I on December 31, 2003? The Big O and K-Krush won the Tag Team Championships for the nWo that night, and held them for some time. Plus, let's not forget that The Big O and Mark Kinxx are both former World Champions in BWF!
Nick Webb: Well, Kinxx held the defunct World Heavyweight Title back in 2004, yes.
Rayne: And J-Dizzle is one of the only men in history to compete in multiple Hellbound Matches! Big O won the 2004 Gauntlet Run... show these men some respect, Nick!
Nick Webb: I think I'm more worried about the BWF getting sued is all.
Rayne: Eh, if the company got away with it in 2003, I can't see why it would be a problem today. Remember when we held Bash at the Beach in 2004?
Nick Webb: Oh, I remember. I was worried about BWF getting sued back then, too.
Rayne: Well, honestly. Just relax. Nobody's called anybody "brother" yet, so we're in the clear.
The crowd boos the nWo members as Big O is handed his own mic.
The Big O: How you doin', Em? Remember me?
Emily Corlen: Of course I remember you. I won my second BWF World Championship by beating you, Tom. How's your neck? Any better?
A sly smirk spreads across Emily's face as Big O shakes his head.
The Big O: Whatever. That's all in the past. Now, here's what you're going to do. You're going to announce to all of these people that we, the nWo, are the big deal acts that you've signed for Legacy X, and then you're going to give us what we deserve... a rematch for the BWF Tag Team Championships that we never got as a team nine years ago.
Emily shakes her head.
Emily Corlen: I'm not going to do anything of the sort, Power Ranger. Now get out of my ring.
The crowd 'ooh's' at the Power Ranger remark, which gets Big O visibly upset.
Nick Webb: Anybody else remember Big O debuting as the Green Power Ranger?
Rayne: Do I? His poor partner, the Black Ranger, never saw Tim Murphy coming.
The Big O: Listen, blondie. Last I checked, there were three of us in this ring... and only one of you. Let's not make this any messier than it needs to be, hmm? Because trust me... it WILL get messy. Very, very quic-
Big O is cut off as "Endless Possibilities" by Jaret Reddick hits the BlazenTron and the crowd pops loudly!
Nick Webb: What? No way! It can't be!
Rayne: It IS! That's Katie James... and her younger sister, Alison!
All three members of the nWo turn to face the stage as BWF Hall of Famer "Stutterfly" Katie James and her younger sister, FGA competitor Alison James, make their way onto the stage, posing for the fans. They look at one another, then race down to the ring and slide inside. Alison reaches for Emily's mic as the music fades. The nWo guys, meanwhile, can't seem to stop themselves from laughing.
Alison James: Gentlemen, it would be in your best interest to cease and desist this course of action immediately.
The Big O: (still laughing) Or what? What's a little girl like YOU going to do?
Katie grabs the mic from Alison.
Katie James: We'll control-alt-delete you, bitch!
The crowd cheers, but even Emily and Alison have to facepalm a bit.
The Big O: Oh, will you? Please. Last I checked, there's still THREE of us big, strong men against three tiny little girls. Unless you're on your periods and about to go Incredible Hulk? You don't have a chance in hell of stopping the white and black attack.
Katie grins.
Katie James: Oh, I was so hoping you'd say that. Just to be safe... I hired protection.
All three members of the nWo look at one another, confused, until "We Own It" by 2 Chainz feat. Wiz Khalifa hits and the letters "AMH" appear on the BlazenTron! The crowd cheers as James Reilly and Jason Jones walk out, looking as menacing as ever, each of them sporting black tank tops with the letters "AMH" emblazoned across them.
Nick Webb: No way! That's James Reilly and Jason Jones! America's Most Hated!
Rayne: Listen to that reaction, Nick! They're anything but hated tonight!
Without hesitation, Reilly and Jones charge the ring and slide inside, immediately causing the nWo to vacate it. Emily, Katie and Alison watch on, chuckling, as the nWo heads into the crowd, J-Dizzle screaming "this ain't over!" Emily shakes the hands of Reilly and Jones, and then turns her attention back to the New World Order.
Emily Corlen: Well... boys... and I do mean boys... looks like you're at the disadvantage now. So, how about we settle this the old fashioned way? You three bottom feeders go find two more warm bodies for us to use as human pincushions, and in two weeks at Legacy X, we have ourselves a good, old fashioned ten man tag team match?
The crowd pops loudly at this as the nWo just stares at Emily incredulously. "Radioactive" hits the BlazenTron again as the five individuals in the ring chatter amongst themselves.
Nick Webb: Wow! We just got a HUGE match made for Legacy X! And we're only ten minutes into Havok! What else is in store for tonight's show? I can't wait!
As the bell rings, Jared Black takes advantage and quickly takes down Catness with a double leg pick up, but before he has a chance to start reigning right hands down on Catness, Vespertine dashes over and delivers a dropkick to the side of his head, knocking him out of the ring. Vespertine grabs Catness’ head and lifts her up, but Catness breaks out of her grasp and connects with a forearm to the side of her head, knocking her backwards. Catness is quick to the ropes and rebounds back, leaping in the air and connecting with a high crossbody on Vespertine, hooking her leg for a cover, however just after the one count Mr. Black is in the ring to break it up.
Nick Webb: Excellent wherewithal there from Jared Black!
Jared picks up Catness and whips her into the far corner, dashing in after her for a hard clothesline. Vespertine approaches Jared and spins him around, wrapping her arm around his head and taking him down with a snap mare, giving him a stiff kick in the back immediately after. Catness comes out of the corner and leaps over Jared’s body, delivering a neck snap to him. Vespertine follows up on Jared with her Insult to Injury (Moonsault Double Foot Stomp)! Before she can make a cover though, Catness throws her over the top rope and goes for a cover on Jared herself!

2!
Black is able to kick out!
Rayne: Whoa! Catness almost stole one there!
Catness follows up with a few stiff kicks on the back of Jared’s head as he tries to get up, but Black falls straight down back on the mat and is pulled out of the ring by Vespertine who gets up on the apron. Catness charges in, but Vespertine goes low and hits her with a shoulder block, doubling Catness over. Vespertine flips over the top rope and hits a sunset flip!
1!
2!
Catness is able to kick out. Vespertine lifts Catness up quickly and whips her into the near corner. She sits the blonde opponent up on the top rope, noticing Jared getting up on the apron in the corner of her eye. She quickly springboards off the middle rope and catches Jared with a dropkick. Catness is getting to her feet now, but Vespertine is quick to knock her back down in a seated position. Vespertine backs up a bit, dashing towards Catness, she runs up the turnbuckle and latches her legs around Catness’ head, flipping her over with a hurricanrana! The crowd cheers as Vespertine is quick to her feet, climbing to the top and quickly jumping off the top rope, connecting with her Epically Diva (Corkscrew Shooting Star Senton)! The crowd cheers as Vespertine covers Catness!

DING DING DING!!!
WINNER: Vespertine, via Pinfall
"Diamond Eyes" by Shinedown starts playing as Vespertine rolls out of the ring, slapping hands with the fans. The referee checks on Catness, while Jared Black, who has finally reached his feet on the outside of the ring, is slamming his fists into the apron angrily.
Nick Webb: Hell of a win there for the debuting Vespertine!
Rayne: Meanwhile, Jared Black doesn't look happy on the outside. That's a Triple Threat for ya! At least he wasn't the one getting squished by the lovely Vespertine.
Nick Webb: She's not gonna give you her number, Rayne.
Rayne: (sighs) Still, a man can dream...
A Clutch Return
Havok returns from an HBO promo and we find Jared Black, standing in the ring, looking frustrated.
Jared Black: Alright, everybody, I just wanted to make an announcement real quick! Just so we are all on the same page here… I did not lose tonight! Clearly, it was Catness who got pinned… not me!
Before Jared can continue, the lights cut out and bright neon rainbow lights from around the entrance ramp start flashing and shining through the arena, smoke begins to pour from the entrance and amazing, even magical, displays of fireworks starts to shoot up all around just like the fourth of July! All at the same time, "Sexy and I Know It" by LMFAO starts to blaze in everybody’s ear getting the crowd pumped up! Why you ask? Because it’s SEXY AND I KNOW IT!!!
“I’M SEXY AND I KNOW IT!!!”
The last of the fireworks shoot off in a bright display, leaving a black silhouette standing in the smoke. Then, just like Moses parting the red sea, the smoke begins to part as the man makes his way down the ramp. Clad in plenty of baby oil and a pair of neon purple speedo tights a matching neon light blue star outlined in yellow right on the crotch.
Rayne: Who the hell is that?
Nick Webb: ...I think I know who that is...! If I'm right, it's one hell of a surprise!
Rayne: You think this is one of those big returns Emily was hinting at?
Suddenly, the lights go up and the crowd explodes!
Nick Webb: IT IS! That's Casey Campbell! BWF Hall of Famer, RXW World Champion, BWF Tag Team Champion... wow!
Casey keeps making his way down to the ring, slapping hands with the kids and sexy ladies at ringside, all the time moving to the beat of the music, head banging and those magical hips a swaying.
“Wiggle, Wiggle, Wiggle, Wiggle, Wiggle, Yeah!!”
Jared Black: Cut the damn music! Just a minute, cut the damn music... I was talking here!!!
Casey hops up the steps and slides himself into the ring, clearly not looking impressed that the people in the back cut off his music. Casey slowly starts to circle Jared, then motions for him to be handed a mic.
Casey Campbell: Hi!
Jared Black: Hi… now, if you don’t mind, I was talking about something very important.
Casey Campbell: Mmmhmm... to me, it looked like you was bitching, amiright! Yeah, I think I’m right!
Jared Black: Okay, that’s it... you have until the count of three to get the hell out of this ring before I -
Casey Campbell: Before you start counting and finish that sentence, I think you would like to hear me out first, because I have a proposition from the back for you.
Jared Black: That is?
Casey Campbell: Well, you see, with my new contract, BWF has allowed me to do the Campbell Clutch Challenge. Now, what is the Campbell Clutch Challenge you say? Well, I’m glad you asked! It’s a special submission move I do - and invented, thank you - that if you are able to break out of in the Challenge, the BWF will give you a title shot against any belt! That’s right, any belt you want, even if you don’t deserve it for whatever reason. Like being a whiny bitch.
Jared Black: So, I see people in the back decided that I should just pass some little test to move up and get my shot. Fine! Let’s do it!
Casey motions for Jared to get down on all fours so he can apply the hold. Jared agrees and kneel down, yelling at him to hurry up and do it. Casey moves up behind him, bringing a hand down to grip his wrist, then slowly bringing it back to apply the Campbell Clutch (Crouching Cobra Clutch). Then, with a sudden and very surprising turn of events, instead, Casey lifts his boot up and plants it into the back of Jared’s head, slamming it into the mat with his new signature move The Hashtag (Curb Stomp)! Jared’s nose is busted open and bleeding all over the mat and Casey just reaches down, picking his mic back up.
Casey Campbell: DAMN! I can’t believe you fell for that. Seriously, bro!? Man, you just made this one hell of a welcome back party! Well, looks like they might need to clean up before the next match, so... I’ll be seeing you all at Legacy X!
Casey throws down the mic on top of Jared and slides out of the ring as his theme starts playing. He makes his way to the back, blowing kisses out to the crowd, as referees check on Jared and another HBO promo starts playing.
The bell rings and both Toco and Kid Ant hook up in the center of the ring. There are a lot of hook ups and counters. Both men are trying to get the advantage and neither getting it until Toco pushes Kid into the corner and traps him there with a series of punches. Kid tries hard to fight back but with the size difference, Toco has him on the ropes.
Nick Webb: Toco's a Hall of Famer and he's showing it tonight by shutting down Kid Ant's offense. He's using his size to his advantage like a pro.
Toco brings Kid out to the middle of the ring and Irish whips him towards the ropes. This is where it gets interesting because Kid, being a high flyer, goes flying. Toco attempts a clothesline, but Kid executes a perfect Misterio roll, jumps up and standing drop kicks Toco as he turns around. Toco staggers back and Kid Ant charges. Toco tries another clothesline but Kid ducks and attempts a Float over DDT. He doesn’t nail it. Toco shifts him to the front and picks him up for a powerbomb. Kid hooks his legs and decks Toco across the temple, then leans way back and Toco goes over. Kid hooks a leg. Forget it, Toco ain’t going down like that and kicks out. Kid picks Toco up and Irish whips him but it is reversed by Toco who hangs onto Kid’s hand and executes a perfect clothesline from hell. He shakes off the effects of Kid and then goes for a cover.
1!
2!
No!
At two and three quarters, Kid gets his shoulder up. Toco gets up and looks around. He picks up Kid, puts his shoulder under his arm and puts Kid’s arm over his neck. Toco picks Kid up but Kid follows through and lands behind Toco on both his feet. Toco turns around and Kid dropkicks his knee out from under him. Toco goes down on one knee which gives Kid the chance to Enziguri Toco to the back of the head. Kid goes for his own cover.
1!
2!
Kickout!
At two and a half, Toco pushes Kid off. Kid gets up and looks around.
Nick Webb: What do you think Kid Ant has in mind here?
Rayne: I would say he is looking to fly. Problem is, I don’t think Toco is worn out enough yet for this to work. We shall see.
Nick Webb: Indeed.
Kid goes to the nearest corner post and climbs up. He looks around and signals for his finisher which gets a big pop from the crowd. He jumps and attempts a Flying Frog Splash but Toco sees it coming, gets up quickly, grabs Kid and powerslams him to the ground. Toco gets on top of Kid and does his signature headbutts. A few of these later and Toco gets off Kid looking dazed. Kid is on the mat looking stunned himself. Toco goes over to Kid, picks him and before Kid can react, Toco does his finisher The Fat Drop (Bubba Bomb) on him. He hooks a leg and the referee goes for the three count!
1!
2!
3!
WINNER: Toco, via Pinfall
"Chevelle" by Red hits the BlazenTron as Toco stands up and poses for the crowd. He's getting slightly booed here (probably shouldn't have insulted Maine in his promo) but most fans are still cheering him regardless. Toco rolls out of the ring and high fives a few kids before heading up the ramp.
Rayne: Can’t say I'm surprised by that ending. Toco's what, 150 pounds heavier than Kid Ant?
Nick Webb: As hard as Kid Ant tried, he just couldn’t beat Toco. He came darn close though.
Rayne: Close isn’t good enough, not against a former World Champion and Hall of Fame competitor!
Kill the Nerves
In the large training facility of the Augusta Civic Center, BWF Tag Team Champion Rosalyn Darling and BWF Fan Favorite Johnny Maverick are in the ring partaking in a sparring session. Rosalyn appears to be more exhausted than Johnny, but she refuses to give up, dashing towards him and launching a right hook towards his face. Johnny blocks the punch and quickly transitions her into a standing arm wrench.
Johnny Maverick: I know you've had a bar fighter training you but you don't have to put your all into every punch. You'll wear yourself out.
He releases her arm. She backs away for a brief moment and shakes her arm to keep it limber. Looking at him from where she stands, she raises an eyebrow.
Rosalyn Darling: Bar fighter? Are you talking about Isaiah?
Not letting him respond without immediate pressure, she rushes him, but this time she spins to his right side and catches him with a knee to the ribs followed by an elbow to the side of his upper arm. Johnny takes the knee and the elbow but hooks the elbow before it pulls away and yanks her into a front facelock and quickly into a body scissors in a very fluid motion. He again quickly releases her.
Johnny Maverick: Yeah. That bar fighting stuff only works for very few individuals.
He returns to a Krav Maga stance. Rosalyn winces before she rolls away after being released for the second time. She moves back into her defensive stance, her skirt settling down after the rustling movements. A trail of sweat drips down from her jaw before she quickly wipes her forehead.
Rosalyn Darling: You know he's not just a brawler... and he's not the only one whom I receive training from.
Once again, she sprints towards Johnny, but this time she slides underneath him, jumps up onto his back, and tries to tightly secure her Fade To Black Now (Rear Naked Choke) signature hold. Johnny is able to get his hand between the hold to allow him some breathing room. Johnny kept it as a point of pride that he's never tapped out or passed out from a submission hold.
Johnny Maverick: I've had a lot of trainers too and by the way, If we weren't sparring I'd jump up and fall backwards now. Hard.
Rosalyn Darling: Gee, that's good to know...
Despite her best effort to secure the submission hold on him, she becomes fully aware that he's not going to let her do it. She releases him and moves off of him, only to send him falling with a surprising low sweep kick. She kips up on her feet and looks down at him with a smirk.
Rosalyn Darling: I can surprise even the best in the sport, it seems.
He lays there a moment, seemingly defeated, before doing a half kip-up that allows him to locks his legs around her head and pulls her arm through to lock in a triangle choke.
Johnny Maverick: You're good, kid. You can be one of the best if you keep at it... But just because an opponent is down don't mean they're beat.
Once again, he releases the hold. He stands and gives Rosalyn a playful punch on the arm.
Johnny Maverick: That's probably enough. We've both got matches tonight, Red.
She huffs, once again caught in his dangerous snare before he lets her go for the last time. When she's on her feet, Rosalyn looks at Johnny and reciprocates his motion with a playful punch of her own to his chest.
Rosalyn Darling: Red? Where'd that come from?
Voice: Lady Rosalyn.
The camera turns and catches Alexander Michelson, Rosalyn's manager and bodyguard, making his way towards the practice ring. He has two cold water bottles in his grasp, extending them towards the wrestlers.
Alexander Michelson: Are you finished?
Rosalyn nods and graciously accepts her water bottle. She cracks it open and takes a few chugs before letting out a sigh of relief. Johnny playfully honks Michelson on the nose before chugging about half the bottle as well. He regards Rosalyn with a question.
Johnny Maverick: Still nervous?
Michelson blinks, not expecting that to come from Johnny at all. While he wriggles his nose, Rosalyn giggles just a little before she faces her sparring partner.
Rosalyn Darling: Nope. I feel better, thanks.
She gives him a small hug before she turns to her bodyguard. Michelson looks back at her and clears his throat.
Alexander Michelson: Let us be off, m'lady.
Rosalyn Darling: Alright. One step closer to the Main Event!
All three of them seem to be prepared. Whether it's for the better or the worse, only showtime will tell.
The bell rings and both women hook up, break, look at each other, then hook up again. Suddenly in a flurry of motion, there are arm bars, arm wrenches, and counters. They break and look at each other again. Davis puts her arms up to indicate to Kelly that she wants a strength challenge. Kelly looks around bemused.
Rayne: If she goes for this, she is dumber than she looks.
Nick Webb: Why would you say that?
Rayne: Anybody can see that when Liz does it, it’s trap! Pull out! It’s a trap, Capt!
Nick Webb: You’ve been watching way too much Star Wars.
Rayne: Star Wars is my bible. Should be yours, too, except I know that Star Trek is yours.
Nick Webb: What? I -
Rayne: Shhhh! You don’t need to say anymore.
Kelly goes to hook up with Davis. Davis gives a smirk and then kicks her in the midsection. She quickly grabs Kelly’s head and then does a Twist of Fate on her, driving her head to the mat. She rolls her over and covers for the pin.
1!
2!
At the two count, Kelly kicks out.
Rayne: See! What did I tell you? You should listen to me more, young padawan. You would understand this sport more than you do.
Nick Webb: Takes one to know one. And I’m not a Jedi apprentice, thank you.
Rayne: Yes, you are. The fact that you even know what a Jedi is makes you a believer. Come... join me... come to the dark side. And together we will rule as father and son. Plus we have cookies!
Nick Webb: ...did your mother drop you on your head when you were a child?
Rayne: Believe what you want, but you will come over soon. And to answer your question, more times than I care to admit.
Davis picks Kelly up and irish whips her towards the ropes. She attempts a clothesline but Kelly ducks under it. She rebounds off the ropes and on her return, she jumps at the last second and executes a perfect flying headscissors which sends Davis across the ring to land in a heap under the bottom rope. She picks Davis up and drags her to the middle of the ring where she attempts a Dangerous DDT but Davis wriggles out of it and grabs Kelly by the neck and shoulders, and executes a perfect backcracker ala Randy Orton. Kelly writhes in pain on the mat. Davis, gets up, turns around, picks Kelly up by the hair and tosses her across the ring. The referee gets in her face to admonish her.
Rayne: Ow! That’s gonna leave a mark. I know how it hurts to be tossed around by the hair follicles. Her chrome dome will be sore tomorrow and maybe later tonight.
Nick Webb: ...what?
Rayne: Do you want me to do sign language or something? (signs as he speaks ending with the middle finger extended) The... top... of... her... head... is going... to hurt... tomorrow.
Nick Webb: I'd ask if you were on drugs, but that would require you to be popular enough for somebody to offer them to you.
Rayne: Yeah, because you're the guy to preach about popularity.
Davis goes over to Kelly and stomps a few mudholes in her before picking her up and Irish whipping her towards the corner post. Kelly hits the corner post and staggers back from the impact; Davis charges jumps up and again executes a Backstabber.
Nick Webb: And Liz Davis just took Kelly Keagan to Dis-Knee-Land!
Rayne: Score one for the Disney Princess!
Liz rolls into the cover and the referee counts.

WINNER: Elizabeth Davis, via Pinfall
“Mr. Night” blares over the loudspeakers as the crowd boos Liz. She doesn’t really care as she smirks down at Kelly who is just coming to.
Nick Webb: A big win tonight for Elizabeth Davis heading into Legacy X! I gotta imagine that's put her in line for something big!
Almost as if on cue, Emily Corlen's visage pops onto the BlazenTron.
Emily Corlen: Ahem... Liz. Oh, Lizzie? Hey. Up here, Princess.
Emily smirks as Liz looks up at the Tron.
Emily Corlen: Well done tonight. Congratulations. That's not why I'm here, though. I'm here to inform you of your match at Legacy X. Interestingly enough, it involves your little friend there.
Liz looks down at Kelly Keagan, who is starting to stir.
Emily Corlen: Kelly wants Emperor Ian's attention, but Ian won't show up unless we pay him to wrestle. So, I'm going to do just that. At Legacy X, you're going to see Emperor Ian and Kelly Keagan team up for the first time ever to face the team of Elizabeth Davis... and BWF Alumni Matt Stone!
Liz grins at this announcement. She's pleased.
Emily Corlen: Oh, uh, I wasn't done. You're also - um... hang on, my phone's ringing. Just a moment.
Emily stops to answer her cell. After a short call, she hangs up.
Emily Corlen: Alright, that was Matt. Apparently, your team name will be "Beauty and the Best". His idea, not mine.
Emily shrugs as she continues.
Emily Corlen: As I was saying, it will be Kelly Keagan and Emperor Ian versus Elizabeth Davis and Matt Stone... versus Rosalyn Darling and Derrick Daze... for the BWF Tag Team Championships...
The crowd roars. Liz doesn't seem to mind this addition.
Emily Corlen: ...in a Triple Threat TLC Match!
The crowd roars louder. Liz suddenly doesn't look quite as pleased.
Emily Corlen: Have a nice night, you two. And good luck at Legacy X. I have a feeling you're all going to need it.
Emily blows a kiss into the camera before the feed cuts, leaving Liz standing in the ring with Kelly Keagan. Both women heard the announcement and neither one seems sure how to proceed even as they stare one another down.
Nick Webb: Wow! Emperor Ian, Kelly Keagan, Liz Davis, Matt Stone, Rosalyn Darling and Derrick Daze... surrounded by tables, ladders and chairs! That's going to be one hell of a match!
Rayne: And it's gonna be for the Tag Team Titles! Imagine that; Matt Stone, a guy who isn't even on the BWF roster, could be leaving New York City with one of our belts! What if he takes it to Code Red Wrestling with him?
Nick Webb: I trust Emily's judgment... I guess we'll just have to see what happens on July 21!
Shelley Shocked
The crowd quiets as they await the next part of the show while still restless from the excitement of the evening. There’s the sound of a cymbal crashing just as “Downfall” by TRUSTcompany hits over the BlazenTron and the fans jump to their feet as it flows into “Repeat Offender” by Trapt for a few moments before the loud “GO!” of “In Fate’s Hands” by Red Jumpsuit Apparatus starts to play and the green lights start to flash.
Nick Webb: Is that...!?
I remember a year ago
I was standing in the crowd
Waiting for my chance to break through
My chance to live again
I was standing in the crowd
Waiting for my chance to break through
My chance to live again
Out from the crowd walks BWF Hall of Fame inductee, former three-time BWF World Champion, Gabe Shelley. He’s wearing his old BWF gear; trunks and a matching hooded vest, as he slowly makes his way to the top of the stage. He puts his arms out wide to the side and soaks in the thunderous cheers from the fans with his head down. He looks up just slightly to take a peek and can’t help but to smile from ear to ear as BWF’s number one son sees the crowd on their feet.
Rayne: I can’t even hear myself think, Nick! You thought they were loud for Emily Corlen earlier, this is insane.
Nick Webb: No offense to Ms. Corlen but this is almost deafening. Granted the fans have not seen Gabe Shelley on BWF-ish television since September of last year when it was TGW.
Now it seems I've found some friends who
Finally understand what it takes
To make this dream come true
We'll be here 'til the end
Shake it! Break it! Get off your feet!
Come dance with me and don't you fake it
Shake it! Break it! Get off your feet!
Come dance with me and don't you fake it

Shake it! Break it! Get off your feet!
Come dance with me and don't you fake it
Shelley starts to make his way down the ramp and he tries to high five and touch hands with as many people on ringside as he can before climbing up the stairs and to the apron. He climbs inside the ring and quickly is standing on the middle turnbuckle. Shelley tosses his hood back and arms out before pointing out to the crowd and gets them going. He jumps and spins midair, landing on his feet and looks around as the lights come up, soaking it all in. He puts his hands together and bows his head in thanks to the fans as Scott Benjamin hands him a microphone.
Gabe Shelley: Well...
The crowd erupts again as he tries to speak and Shelley can’t help but smile.
Nick Webb: An overwhelming response to one of BWF’s favorite competitors in its rich history.
Shelley lets the fans die down a bit before going again.
Gabe Shelley: Well there’s this event coming up called Legacy X, maybe you’ve heard, and it’s a celebration of things that have happened over the past ten years of BWF. There was a rumor that Cody Clark might compete, we’ve seen that Casey Campbell is back, and I figured that it just wouldn’t be the same without an appearance from me.
The crowd seems to agree as they cheer him.
Gabe Shelley: Maybe of you know where I am now and that I’m not competing full time in the BWF but that doesn’t mean that I can’t show up to an event like this and give something back to each and every single one of you that have rooted for me over the past ten years. A lot of you might even remember my first matches as ‘Mad Dogg’ and evolving into the wrestler I am today.
Shelley pauses and looks around the arena and smiles.
Gabe Shelley: It’s been over two years since I competed in a BWF ring and at Legacy X that changes.
The fans give a roar of cheers as Shelley smiles once again.
Gabe Shelley: While it may not be a World Title match or a high bill I want to be a part of this show because BWF was a home to me for so many years. I learned so many great things here and I got to compete for the fans when it didn’t look like I would get a real chance at becoming a professional wrestler. WrestleFest III I was pretty much opening the show as ‘Mad Dogg’ against my friend Outlaw. We were both trying to break into the business and long story short we came to blows and it came to a head that night.
He starts to walk around the ring with a look on his face like he’s thinking something over.
Gabe Shelley: So I started to think that since I’m, one, not a contracted wrestler for the BWF it would be somewhat of an unsanctioned match so it have to be against someone that could compete in a match of that caliber. Two, since I haven’t been a BWF contracted wrestler in two years I can’t just walk in and ask for a top billed match against some of these new stars. Then it hit me. This is a celebration of the BWF and where it was and what it’s become.
Shelley runs his fingers through his hair and looks out.
Gabe Shelley: Where this company is at now is AJ Adams as its World Champion...
There are some boos as he mentions Adams that causes a short pause.
Gabe Shelley: I don’t blame ya. But the company now is AJ Adams taking on Elena Simonova and where it’s been are matches like WrestleFest III where ‘Mad Dogg’ took on Outlaw. So what the Hell, let’s do it. Gabe Shelley, Outlaw, for old times' sake in an unsanctioned street fight.
Shelley holds the microphone out and shrugs his shoulders and nods as if he’s asking “Yes?” as the fans cheer it on.
Nick Webb: That could be one very entertaining match. Both Outlaw and Gabe Shelley have come miles from where they were as wrestlers in 2005.
Rayne: I’d pay to see that match if I wasn’t already going to be sitting ringside.
Gabe Shelley: I think that’s a yes. I guess I’ll see you in thirteen days, BWF.
He starts to smile again as he drops the microphone and “In Fate’s Hands” starts to play once again as Shelley poses on one of the turnbuckles for the fans.
Jewel of Denial
Backstage Catherine Jewel is in a wheelchair with a neck brace on, but a smile resides on her face as exchanges pleasantries with some of the BWF backstage staff. As they depart, Jewel rolls herself down the hall and is greeted by BWF interviewer Toshi Yang.
Toshi Yang: Catherine, can we have a minute of your time?
Catherine smiles as she continues wheeling herself down the hallway.
Catherine Jewel: Of course.
Toshi walks to keep up as Catherine politely slows her wheelchair speed.
Toshi Yang: Why are you here tonight after last week’s vicious attack?
Catherine’s face goes serious and her eyes water a little.
Catherine Jewel: Well because of my injuries – I am going to have to take a leave from the BWF and I’m here to file the paperwork with Emily.
Toshi Yang: How long… What? NO!
Suddenly, from behind Catherine, the Minstrel comes out of nowhere to violently push her down the remainder of the hall and suddenly stop launching her out of the wheelchair and into the wall at the end of the hallway.
Catherine hits the wall and quickly crumples to the ground while grabbing her neck. The Minstrel throws the wheelchair out of the way and picks Catherine up by her hair – she screams in pain – her injuries making it impossible to fight back.
Toshi Yang: No! Don’t!
The Minstrel picks up the injured woman, hoists her onto his shoulder and throws her full force like a dart into the wall face first creating a second sickening thud. As Catherine crumbles to the ground, she at first is still and then begins convulsing. The Minstrel crouches down and fiddling with the fallen woman’s body – searching for something.
Medical help rushes to her aid as the Minstrel stands staring at her body – he tilts his head slightly to the left admiring his handiwork. After a moment, he turns and skips away back down the hall – as he approaches Toshi Yang, she quickly asks.
Toshi Yang: Minstrel, why would you do this?
The Minstrel stops mid-skip.
The Minstrel: Those boys have been having a ton of fun backstage – I thought I would give it a try. Plus, I missed dart night last week, figured I could get a quick game in tonight.
The Minstrel reaches his hand out and hands Toshi a folded piece of paper.
The Minstrel: Can you be a doll and make sure Boss Corlen gets these papers? I think Catherine’s gonna really need her time off.
As Toshi takes the paper from him, he reaches up with his other hand and touches her cheek. Toshi is obviously unnerved by this mean and flinches at the touch. After a light brush with his hand, the Minstrel continues skipping on down the hall.
After the bell rings, the former Tag Team Champions lock up in the center of the ring, which results in Rudo effortlessly shoving the smaller Avery down to the mat. Logan stands back up and charges at Rudy, but is met with a spinning back fist for his troubles. 2Rude goes for the pin.
1!
2!
Kickout!
Rudo picks Avery up off the mat but is met with a cutter for his troubles. With Rudy down Logan climbs to the top rope, where he shouts for his ex-partner to stand up. Rudo does so, very dazed from being dropped on his head. Once he is to his feet Avery leaps from the top turnbuckle with an attempted flying hurricanrana, but he is caught in mid-air and powerbombed by Rudy. Rudo refuses to let go and instead, lifts him back up into the air and ally-oop's him into the top turnbuckle that he had just jumped from. Staggering back from the corner, Avery is taken down to the mat with an armdrag takedown which transitions into 2Rude's Uncivil Slicer (Short Arm Scissors). After some time of struggling and attempting to reach the ropes to free himself, Avery is forced to submit to the hold.
WINNER: Rudy Rudo, via Submission
After the match is over, Rudo refuses to let go of the hold, as if he is attempting to do some serious damage to the bicep or elbow of Logan. He eventually releases him but only doing so after the referee threatens to reverse the decision.
Nick Webb: A definitive statement from 2Rude here tonight - if anybody was the weak link of his team with Avery, it most certainly was not him.
Rayne: With a victory that impressive, the future looks bright for Rudy Rudo!
Maine Eventer
“Lights Out” by P.O.D. hits the BlazenTron as the BWF World Champion comes out to a series of boos. He stands on the stage holding the title in his hand and a microphone in the other. He starts to talk over the crowd, clearly not wanting to be in Maine.
AJ Adams: I wasn’t going to come out here tonight outside of my match because I don’t think the fans here deserve it. In fact I’m not even sure why BWF is here tonight. We’re two weeks away from what’s supposed to be one of the biggest events in its history and we’re in Maine?
The crowd is all over Adams with jeers.
AJ Adams: It couldn’t have picked something with more than 20,000 people in it? That was a bad call.
More jeers rain down on Adams as he shrugs it off.
AJ Adams: I know I said that tonight was the beginning of something big and I really meant that. I had plans and was set to carry them out here tonight, just two weeks before Legacy X, but then I got to thinking. Derrick Daze was wrong in his promo about me, I’m not here looking for a spot in the Hall of Fame. The one thing I keep saying is I’m here to leave my mark, to create my own legacy. So instead of wasting a big reveal here in Maine, why not wait until Legacy X when the BWF is in NYC?
The fans aren’t happy with that.
AJ Adams: At Legacy X everything changes. Be prepared.
Coming Soon on Pay-Per-View
After the bell goes off, Johnny and the Minstrel lock up, Maverick being a step quicker in this exchange and gets behind Minstrel, grasping his arm with a hammerlock. A quick back elbow from Minstrel breaks the hammerlock with Maverick backing up against the ropes, Minstrel turns around and dashes over, only to catch a boot to the face from Johnny. Minstrel backs up, shaking his head as Johnny comes off the ropes with a high crossbody block! Rather than go for a quick cover, Maverick starts raining right hands down on Minstrel, showing a more aggressive side to start out.
Nick Webb: This Minstrel character is disgusting. He's been attacking people left and right backstage, and worst of all, he's a great wrestler, which means we have no choice but to put up with him!
Rayne: Johnny's the disgusting one if you ask me. All that common decency and respect that he shows? Ugh! This is pro wrestling, not Barney and Friends!
Nick Webb: Careful, he might kick your head off.
Rayne: He wouldn't be the first to try.
Maverick pulls back on Minstrel’s head for a few seconds before he starts to get on his feet and falls backwards, landing on Maverick. Johnny releases Minstrel and the bigger man rolls to the right and gets to his feet. Maverick struggles to his feet, and he’s grabbed from behind and tossed backwards with a half nelson suplex. Minstrel goes for a cover, but Johnny kicks out at two. Minstrel gets to his feet and pulls up Johnny and looks to get him in a German suplex, but Johnny counters and catches him in the head with an elbow. Maverick gets a quick kick on the inside of Minstrel’s right leg, then grabs his head and hits Minstrel with a DDT. Maverick gets a cover.
1!
2!
Kickout!
Nick Webb: Close two count there, but Minstrel stays alive. Say, do you think that mask of his protects his head? Minstrel, I mean.
Rayne: No, really? I thought you meant Johnny's mask. Clearly.
Nick Webb: Just answer the question.
Rayne: All peripherals and ring gear need to be approved backstage before a competitor is allowed to wear them. So, no. It doesn't protect his head, or if it does, the effect is minimal at best. Minstrel's gonna win his matches by being better than his opponents, not because he has a magic mask that soaks up damage like he's a Final Fantasy character.
Johnny gets to his feet and sends a kick at his opponent’s head, then lifts him up a bit and hits another DDT on him. Maverick goes for another cover and gets the same two count as before. Johnny gets to his feet and calls for Minstrel to as well. When he gets up, Maverick springboards off the middle rope and goes to drive his knee into Minstrel’s face, but Minstrel catches him, quickly falling forward with a powerslam! Minstrel waits for a second as Johnny starts getting up before dashing at the ropes, springboarding off them and connecting with his Knock 'Em Dead (Second Rope Springboard Enzuigiri)! Minstrel hooks the outside leg.
1!
2!
Kickout!
Nick Webb: And Johnny there, barely getting his shoulder up before the three. Both men are impressive tonight. Neither one wants to give in.
Rayne: It's no secret what Maverick is capable of. How many World Title reigns does the guy have? I may not like him, but I can respect what he's accomplished. No, it's Minstrel that I'm more impressed with right now, hanging with a tested Champion like Maverick and putting up a fairly even fight. Barring any sudden turnover or injury, I think Minstrel's going to be a force to be reckoned with in BWF for years to come.
Johnny pulls Minstrel to his feet, and then whips the masked man into the ropes, but as he comes back, Minstrel dodges a kick from Johnny and rolls behind, popping up before grabbing Johnny and putting him in a tight sleeper hold! Minstrel pulls tighter on the hold as Johnny struggles to fight out of it.
Nick Webb: Johnny's never tapped out or passed out to a submission hold, Rayne, but the Sadistic Sex Symbol is fading fast!
Rayne: Looks to me like his submission streak might be over, courtesy of The Minstrel!
Johnny starts to go limp, dropping to one knee as Minstrel applies the sleeper hold harder, almost turning it into a choke, seemingly savoring the suffering he is inducing (at least, we think... we can't see anything under that mask of his.) Suddenly, with a burst of energy from out of nowhere, Johnny drops down and shifts his body weight, pulling Minstrel into a small package!
1!
2!
3!
WINNER: Johnny Maverick, via Pinfall
"D.C. Sound Attack!" by Clutch plays throughout the arena as the small package breaks and Johnny quickly rolls out of the ring. Objects 1 and 2 swarm him, helping him up, as Minstrel just looks on, glaring at Johnny and the girls. He tilts his head slightly, his emotions a mystery, even as he watches the trio make their way up the ramp, Johnny holding his right arm up in victory.
Nick Webb: WOW! What a counter by Johnny! That small package came out of nowhere! He caught Minstrel completely unaware!
Rayne: I gotta think Minstrel only let his guard down because he thought he had this match won! Frankly, so did I!
Nick Webb: Hats off to both men, easily the future of the BWF right there in that ring! Hell of an effort from Maverick and Minstrel tonight!
Heading For A Storm
Backstage right before the main event, one half of the BWF Tag Team Champions, Rosalyn Darling, is heading towards her starting position for her entrance. She is loyally accompanied by Alexander Michelson, although he does not join her for the entrance in order to let the spotlight shine on her alone. Before they get under the stage, however, BWF Senior Interviewer Don McMichael approaches them with a microphone in hand.
Don McMichael: Ms. Rosalyn, a quick word before your match?
Rosalyn Darling: Sure Don, what's up?
Don McMichael: There have been a lot of questions and comments concerning you in the past two weeks since your BWF debut. One of the major ones relates to your father, eWo Hall of Famer Jack Darling. Does he have any involvement with the company?
She contemplates the question presented to her and speaks up.
Rosalyn Darling: To silence the rumors, I can honestly say that my dad has absolutely nothing to do with the BWF. He only pays for two things: what he wants and what he needs. This company has nothing to do with either his wants or needs. There will not be any "kind donations" because that's not his style. In fact, he's not entirely supportive of my decision to becoming a professional wrestler. But because he's not my primary caretaker-- that would be my mom-- he had no say in the decision.
Don nods, understanding the answer she offers him, and presses on.
Don McMichael: Speaking of your mother, that brings up another concern. From what the BWF World Champion AJ Adams stated just recently, it is confirmed that you edited your Twitter information to exclusively being a Darling. Is something going on?
Rosalyn Darling: Ah... that kind of question deserves more than a few seconds to answer. I'll be sure to elaborate on it as soon as possible.
She looks away for a moment, slightly uncomfortable from the present situation. Michelson places a hand on her shoulder and gives it a gentle squeeze to ease her tension. Glancing over at him, she smiles a little and regards Don again.
Rosalyn Darling: Anything else?
Don McMichael: Nothing, really. I wish you the best of luck, Ms. Rosalyn. You have a very bright future ahead of you.
A knowing little smile crosses her face upon hearing this.
Rosalyn Darling: I'm a Darling; my future's always been bright since the day I was born.
She heads for the electronic platform under the entrance stage, dons her black hooded robe over her ring attire, and throws a peace sign towards her bodyguard and McMichael.
Nick Webb: And it is now time for the main event. I can’t wait. This is gonna be a hella cool match.
Rayne: Did you just say “hella”? (Nick nods) That is the first time I ever heard you use that word. (pause) Don’t ever use it again.
DING DING DING!!!
Scott Benjamin: Ladies and gentlemen, the following tag team contest is scheduled for ONE fall! Introducing first, she hails from the Upper Echelon in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania... weighing in tonight at 135 pounds... she is one half of the BWF Tag Team Champions... she is The Killer Princess... she is ROSALYN DARLING!!!
The lights go out in the arena and the fans are up on their feet in high eagerness. "Spectrum" by Florence + The Machine plays from the PA system and silver-white "dust" acting as snow slowly descends all around.
Rayne: Oh yeah! Here we go!
A spotlight shines on the entrance stage; in sync with the tense violin, at the center of the stage an electronic platform begins to lift, revealing Rosalyn Pryce-Darling wearing a black-hooded robe.
...When we first came here,
We were cold and we were clear...
With no colors on our skin,
We were light and paper thin...
The electronic platform reaches the top of the stage and Rosalyn slightly tilts their head up, showing just a small part of her face. Her soft rose-colored lips part to take in a little air and then exhale slowly. A few dark brown strands are framed around her partially hidden face. The fans grow with anticipation and excitement while the momentum of the song slowly begins to shift.
And when we first came here,
We were cold and we were clear.
With no colors on our skin...
'Til you let the spectrum in.
Say my name...
The fans yell "Rosalyn!" out loud!
And every color illuminates!
On cue, different-colored lights come to life throughout, shining brilliantly with the lyrics.
We are shining...
And we'll never be afraid again!
SAY MY NAME!
Louder do the fans yell "Rosalyn!" and then different blue-colored pyro shoots up from the stage around Rosalyn. She pulls back on the hood, revealing her face, and then throws the robe off of her. Now she stands in her stylish ring attire; the fans are going wild for Chelsea and Jack's daughter! She grins and makes her way down the ramp, tagging fans along the way, and then she reaches the ring. Swiftly, she jumps on the apron, grabs the top rope and flips into the ring. She embraces the positive reaction the fans are giving her before she steps onto the middle rope where the majority of the cameras are viewing her, stretching her right arm up as high as she can reach, and then showing off a peace sign. After a moment of flash photography, she steps down and pulls down on her fingerless gloves, ready for her match.
Rayne: Man, she looks hot tonight. I wish she would come over and lay one on old Rayne.
Nick Webb: She's 17, Rayne.
Rayne: What? No. Really? Uh... nevermind all that. Nothing to see here!
Nick Webb: Sad.
Scott Benjamin: Introducing her partner... he hails from Solitude... weighing in tonight at 187 pounds... he is the other half of the BWF Tag Team Champions... he is DERRICK DAZE!!!
From over the loudspeakers; "Hybris" by Lamented Souls hits the BlazenTron as Derrick Daze appears on the stage accompanied by a shower of boos and a continual chant of "You sick fuck". He spits on the stage in response, then makes his way down to the ring with a calculating but determined gait. He does nothing flashy, he panders to no one, he just enters the ring. He then over to Rosalyn and they talk in the corner while they await their opponents, possibly talking about ring strategy.
The crowd gives him an even bigger negative reaction and all he does is flip them off as he continues talking with Rosalyn.
Nick Webb: Why am I not surprised by that?
Rayne: Yeah, neither am I. I don’t know how she can stand him as a tag team partner. She needs to get with a better man.
Nick Webb: Like you?
Rayne: I’m just saying. And let the record show that you said it, I didn’t.
Scott Benjamin: And introducing her opponents, first... she hails from Chicago, Illinois by way of New York City... weighing in tonight at 115 pounds... she is the BWF Sovereign Champion and the 2013 Happenstance Queen... she is ELENA SIMONOVA!!!
All the lights go black, low red strip lights come on to line the ramp down to the ring and "My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark (Light 'Em Up)" by Fall Out Boy begins blaring over the BlazenTron as the house lights come up. Elena Simonova can be seen, crouched low, with her back to the audience; a red and white spotlight on each side of the stage begin rotating side to side. Elena spins to face the audience while she rises, as a cascading curtain of red pyro falls behind her. Elena walks down to the ring and pulls herself up onto the ring apron, leans back on the top rope and back flips into the ring. The crowd boos loudly for her and she just looks at them with a bemused smirk and then glares at her opponents across the ring who are still conferring in the corner.
Rayne: I hate to say it but she looks ready. If looks could kill, this one would already be over.
Nick Webb: I hate to say it but I agree with you.
Rayne: There’s a first for everything you know.
Nick Webb: I know…unfortunately.
Scott Benjamin: And introducing her partner... he hails from Los Angeles, California... weighing in tonight at 176 pounds... he is the current and reigning BWF World Champion... he is AJ ADAMS!!!
"Lights Out" by P.O.D. hits the BlazenTron and the lights go dim as blue and red lights begin to search the arena. As a burst of pyro goes off, AJ Adams is seen standing on the stage looking into the ring. He walks down and sometimes points to the sky. He slides into the ring and climbs one of the turnbuckles. Adams then points out to the crowd and then makes a fist with each hand. He jumps down to the mat and goes to the corner where Elena is standing and confers with her a little bit too. The crowd boos even louder than they did for Elena, but unlike Derrick, he completely ignores them.
Nick Webb: Two weeks ago, AJ Adams did the unthinkable and defeated Kyle Cross in Cross' own hometown of Toronto to regain the BWF World Championship that he lost at Happenstance, but that reign may be short lived because in two weeks, he defends it against the 2013 Happenstance Queen, the undefeated Elena Simonova.
Rayne: Undefeated in BWF, Nick. She's lost matches before, and at Legacy X, she's gonna lose another one, when my boy AJ lays her out with the Last Call and kicks off the next decade in BWF in style!
DING!
The bell rings and while Rosalyn starts for her team, AJ starts for his team. Both of them hook up and in a whirl of motion there are arm bars, arm drags, arm wrenches and counters. They break and look at each other, circle one another, then hook up again. This time there are punches and counters and roll throughs, more arm wrenches and arm locks and then they break again.
Nick Webb: Well I never thought I would say this but I think Rosalyn is doing a heck of a good job keeping up with the World Champion.
Rayne: Considering this is her second pro match? Kid's a future World Champion. No doubt about it. That doesn't mean she's good enough to beat AJ tonight, though. Key difference.
Suddenly, AJ grabs her and puts her in his version of the Tazzmission called the “Lights Out”. He heaves and throws her over his head and steps forward not seeing that she has landed on her feet. He turns around and doesn't see her as she charges until it's too late and she has already started and performed a step up enziguri on him. He goes down hard and is slow to get back up. She goes over to him and picks him up and Irish whips him towards the ropes but he reverses it. As Elena watches on, almost bored, Derrick is watching the action and pumping Rosalyn up by getting the crowd psyched up. He does a triple clap and after he does it, the crowd claps and chants "Let’s Go Rosalyn!" Rosalyn goes for a springboard backflip and on the rebound attempts a flying clothesline but AJ ducks under it and runs the ropes himself. They cross and he quickly catches and attempts a Float Over DDT which connects.
Rayne: Nice move there from my boy!
Nick Webb: Why is Adams 'your boy' all of a sudden? Also, who says that?
Rayne: AJ's my broseph, man. He's Bro-siden, God of the Bro-cean.
Nick Webb: Oh, dear God. Please stop.
AJ stops to gloat in front of the fans, not realizing that Rosalyn is still coherent enough to crawl over to Derrick and hot tag him in. AJ doesn’t see the tag and Derrick quietly sneaks up behind him, pulls his tights and rolls him up in a schoolboy pin! The referee shrugs and then goes down to start counting.
1!
2!
Kickout!
Rayne: AJ is too fresh. I knew he would kick out at 2. She hasn’t done much to him.
Nick Webb: Wow! Would you look at him and Derrick go. These two are just brawling and taking it to each other.
Indeed, after AJ broke out of the school boy, things deteriorated quickly. After a short brawl, Derrick grabs AJ’s hand and Irish whips him towards the ropes. AJ goes running, then jumps onto the ropes at the last second and flies over, executing a perfect Whisper In the Wind. Derrick ducks a little too late and instead of AJ connecting with his head, he connects with the shoulder. Derrick writhes in pain on the ground and AJ takes this opportunity to target the shoulder, putting Derrick in a modified triangle choke, putting most of the pressure on that shoulder.
Rayne: Great veteran instinct there from AJ Adams. That's why he's your BWF World Champion, folks!
Nick Webb: Please, suck up to AJ some more. I don't think he's quite reached climax yet.
Finally having recovered and seen enough, Rosalyn ducks between the two ropes and goes in and before Elena can intercept her, she hits an elbow drop right on AJ’s head. AJ lets go of Derrick, gets up quickly and stalks after Rosalyn with rage in his eyes.
Rayne: Rosalyn just poked the bear, Nick!
Meanwhile, while the referee is busy with AJ and Rosalyn, Elena takes the opportunity to put the hurt on Derrick by focusing on his shoulder. She keeps stomping on it and he goes closer to the bottom rope. He finally rolls out of the ring and she goes right after him. By this time, Rosalyn has turned the tables and is pounding away on AJ who has his arms up to protect himself. The referee is counting them out as they have gone through the ropes and are wailing away on each other outside the ring.
1…
2…
3…
4…
5…
By this time, both Derrick and AJ have realized they are being counted out.
6…
7…
Before he can react, Rosalyn pulls AJ backwards, sending him colliding hard into the barricade!
8...
9...
Derrick breaks away from Elena and makes a mad dash for the ring, but just before he can slide inside, Elena catches him and cracks him in the back of the head with a stiff elbow!
10!
DING DING DING!!!
Scott Benjamin: Ladies and gentlemen, both active competitors in this match have been counted out. Therefore, this match is a DRAW.
The crowd boos loudly, but the competitors in this match don't seem to notice as they continue to beat on each other mercilessly, Elena stomping on Derrick and Rosalyn kicking AJ.
Nick Webb: That's a disappointing end to what was becoming a rather exciting tag team match!
Rayne: You're telling me!
Derrick slowly reaches his feet and Elena rears back, catching him with a superkick that drops him back to the mat. Meanwhile, the tables have turned on Rosalyn, with AJ finally back in control. He catches her with the Last Call (Codebreaker), dropping her hard to the mat. AJ stands back up, grinning, and turns around just in time to be kicked square in the testicles, courtesy of his own tag team partner!
Nick Webb: OH! Right in the mommy/daddy button!
AJ drops to his knees in pain as the crowd exclaims "OOH". She leans down in his face and the camera picks up Elena saying "That was for Toronto..." before rearing back and hitting Adams with a stiff kick to the head that drops him to his back. She kneels down next to him and says "...and that's what's waiting for you in New York City." Elena grins as she stands up, the crowd booing loudly. She walks over to the timekeeper and picks up the BWF World Championship, looking at it for a few moments before laying it across AJ's chest. "My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark (Light 'Em Up)" by Fall Out Boy begins blaring over the BlazenTron as Elena grabs her Sovereign Title and makes her way up the ramp, pleased with what she accomplished tonight.
Nick Webb: Well, she isn't leaving Augusta with a win, but she certainly made a statement here tonight! Elena Simonova is the last one standing on Havok... will the story be the same at Legacy X?
Rayne: Not if my boy has anything to say about it!
Nick Webb: Okay, seriously, you need to stop with that.
Rayne:(imitating Cartman in drag) Whatever, whatever, I do what I want.
Nick Webb: Right, then. Folks, that's all for us here tonight. Legacy X in thirteen days on pay-per-view! The BWF only has one tenth anniversary - do NOT miss this event! For Rayne, I'm Nick Webb... good night from Augusta! Good night from Monday Night Havok!
We see one last shot of Elena Simonova, standing on the ramp, motioning for more gold around her waist, as the cameras fade to the BWF logo, then finally to black... but not before we get an exclusive video showcasing all of the returning BWF alumni for Legacy X!

2!
