Episode 123 - October 8, 2007
It was a long time coming, as the world famous BWF signature played across the BlazenTron and the familiar Havok intro played, accompanied by Trapt's "Headstrong". The camera moved to the stage for the pyro show, then to ringside, as Nick Webb and Rayne welcomed everyone to the return of BWF Havok!
As the crowd continued on at a fevered pitch, BWF Owner David Blazenwing headed down to the ring with a briefcase in tow. He told the fans about how it was good to be back, free from the shackles of oppressive egos stifling his business. He then went on to talk about how, during his recent time in eWo, he was misused and overlooked for "a lot of lesser men than me".
After recounting his 'final night' in eWo (a brutal ass kicking at the hands of Swift Nick and Scott Free), Blazenwing said he had promised to reveal the man who played David Blazenwing at eWo's Guilty as Charged pay-per-view event, and his new official Executive Assistant... former BWF Intercontinental Champion and Milwaukee's own Ryan Maanya! The crowd cheered loudly as Maanya told the fans that as his first official act as Blazenwing's assistant, he would be in charge of deciding how the BWF Championship would be decided, prompting Blazenwing to open his briefcase and reveal said Championship belt.
Before Maanya could continue, however, "Paradise City" by Guns n' Roses started playing and Mark McNasty walked out to the ring, his own BWF Championship over his shoulder! McNasty grabbed a mic and told Blazenwing about how, if you look back at the record books, he was the real last BWF Champion. "You see," Mark said, "I had the belt, then BWF split into LWA and RXW. I didn't want anything to do with LWA so I said screw them, they can have their damn belt. And you and I both know that when Legend won the BWF Title at the beginning of this year, that was really him 'winning the eWo Championship', according to Cody Clark anyways. So what I'm saying is... I was never pinned for the BWF Title, I never submit for the belt, I am the rightful Champion and you both know it!"
Blazenwing and Maanya conversed for a few moments before Maanya handed the mic back to Blazenwing. "Well, Mark," Blazenwing began, "I will give you some credit... you have a valid point. All of them, actually. But see, we're not like some companies who would just hand anybody the belt, deserving or not. No, in BWF, we DECIDE Championships in wrestling matches. And yes, shut up Ryan, I did award myself the BWF Title once, but that was a long time ago, things were different then!"
The crowd and Maanya all laughed, but McNasty did not. Sensing his hostility, Ryan took the mic back and told McNasty that since he had a good point... he would put Mark McNasty up for the BWF Championship at Wreckless in a few weeks. As for his opponent... well, he'd decide on that a little later.
After a short commercial break, we returned to the ring with BWF's first official return contest, Wacko Marko vs. Icetank in an International/United States Championship Double Elimination Tournament Match - two matches this week, two matches next week, the winners of the tournament meet at Wreckless for the International Title, all the losers of their matches meet at Wreckless for the United States Championship. We see Wacko Marko wading through the audience, Gary the Hamster under his arm inside his ball, followed by Icetank heading down the ramp with a pool cue in one hand and a bottle of Jack in the other.
The two start fighting and Icetank gained the early advantage with the power game, but Wacko Marko soon fought his way back after hitting a jawbreaker. After a few more intense minutes of fighting, Icetank hit Marko with The Destructo Dance (French Tickler taunt to opponent facing opposite way, followed by a spear when they turn to face Icetank), then motioned for a Butterfinger Pop (BFP - Old school into sit down west coast pop pin) as Marko came to his feet clutching his abdomen. Icetank grabbed Marko's arm and started pulling him as he headed towards the corner, but Marko pulled back, whipping Icetank across the ring, and when he came back, Marko instinctually caught Icetank with his Wacka Slama (Toss & Chokeslam) to get the three count and the win!
WINNER: Wacko Marko, via Pinfall
After the match, Marko celebrated in the ring with Gary the Hamster. Icetank, furious, grabbed his pool cue and looked like he was ready to hit Marko when he turned around. Icetank thought about it for a moment, then shook his head and rolled out of the ring, as Wacko Marko shrugged and continued to celebrate.
A video with the caption "Earlier Today" then played, showing new signee Xameneoh arriving at the arena. After talking with a few fans, he meets up with Don McMichael, who asked him about his impending debut. Xame had a lot of good points, and ultimately promised that no matter what happened, he would remain "focused, fearless, and for Jester... ultimately fatal!"
The camera then moved backstage, where we caught Will Irwin talking to "Grade A" Alex Wilkie. They touched on many subjects, from Wilkie's thoughts about being back in BWF, to his confirmed future showdown with BWF Hall of Famer Chamelion, to his main event match tonight with former (and according to him, current?) BWF Champion Mark McNasty.
The camera moved back to the ring, signaling the start of the night's second Tournament match, as Xameneoh debuted against former BWF Primetime Champion Jester the Clown, his sinister manager Mr. J in tow. The two battled, Jester surprisingly keeping in step with Xameneoh's technical wizardry, if not delivering as hard as Xame. After several minutes of near falls, Jester tries to catch Xame with a Laughing Dose (Rock Bottom), but Xameneoh counters by rolling behind Jester, hitting his own Breaking Point (Backcracker)! Xameneoh goes for the cover - one... two... - and before the ref can drop his hand for three, Mr. J slides into the ring and jumps onto Xameneoh, prompting the ref to call for the DQ!
WINNER: Xameneoh, via DQ
As Xameneoh gets to his feet, he looks over at Mr. J, who starts backing up slowly, trying to talk his way out of pain. Xameneoh starts walking towards Mr. J, but before he can take more than a few steps, Jester's leg comes up between Xame's legs, catching him between the uprights. Xameneoh staggers as Mr. J helps his charge to his feet and Jester lines Xameneoh up before giving him the Laughing Dose (Rock Bottom). The client/manager duo heads to the back, pleased at the carnage, as ringside officials tend to Xameneoh inside the ring.
After the commercial break, we see Jester and Mr. J walking backstage, preparing to leave, as David Blazenwing and Ryan Maanya stop them. Blazenwing chastises the duo for "ruining what was a great match" between Jester and Xame. David then tells them that they will not go unpunished... and he's going to leave the decision of what'll happen up to Ryan. After a few moments of thinking, Maanya has a brilliant idea - we want to see Jester vs. Xameneoh, but we want to avoid the interference of Mr. J - so with that mindset... next week, it'll be Jester the Clown vs. Xameneoh... in a Steel Cage Match!
Finally, the bell rings, and Scott Benjamin announces that it is time for the night's main event. Mark McNasty and Alex Wilkie make their way to the ring, respectively, with Nick Webb musing aloud about this match having possible title implications, with McNasty already inserted into the Wreckless main event for the belt, but no opponent named thus far. Early on, Wilkie caught McNasty with a Moon (Shining Wizard) followed immediately with an A+Ssault (Lionsault) for a very close two count. After a few more minutes of back and forth action, McNasty nearly picked up the win when he nailed Wilkie with the Ouch (Spinebuster. McNasty then stands, and runs to the ropes, before hitting a Rolling Thunder). While Rayne sat and joked around about the names of a lot of these moves, Webb noted that Casey Campbell was originally scheduled to be in this match, but was injured last week while training and would be out for a few months. The end of the contest came when Wilkie DDT'ed McNasty and went for a second A+Ssault, but Mark rolled out of the way, Wilkie hit the mat, and as he rose, Mark nailed him with his Lights Out (Forearm Shot to the back of a dazed/rising opponent's head) coming off the ropes to pick up the three count and the win.
WINNER: Mark McNasty, via Pinfall
After the match, McNasty celebrated with the BWF Championship he entered the show with, shouting "at Wreckless, this becomes a reality!" Suddenly, the music cut as an unknown, shady looking man walked onto the stage, mic in hand. He pointed at the ring as several police officers flanked him and said "There... that's the man who kidnapped Gabe Shelley! I want him under arrest!" The police charged the ring and grabbed McNasty, then dropped him to the mat and cuffed him as his shouts of "What the fuck is going on!? I didn't kidnap anybody!" filled the silent arena. The police rolled McNasty out of the ring and carried him up the ramp and past the mysterious shady man as the cameras faded to the BWF logo, then to black.
