Episode 43: July 7, 2024
Liam Stewart: It’s time for another episode of LW Adrenaline, Riley! It feels like August already, but we’re right at the beginning of July, and we’ve got some big matches on the road to Independence Day of Reckoning!
Riley Rouse: Indeed we do, Liam. Two titles and a Money in the Bank briefcase are on the line tonight, plus The Crimson Ghost V makes his in-ring debut against former LW World Champion Kayla Taylor and our only two-time World Champion, FM Young, battles our current Champion Alison “Schism” James in Non-Title action!
Liam Stewart: That match-up was our 2023 Match of the Year, so I can’t wait to see those two tear down the house again! But right now, we kick things off with our first title match of the evening! Let’s head to the ring and get things started.
The crowd is buzzing with excitement as the lights dim and the opening chords of "I Want It All" by Queen blast through the speakers. Alex Andrews steps onto the stage, looking determined and focused. She pauses at the top of the ramp, taking in the energy of the crowd before making her way to the ring.
Liam Stewart: Alex Andrews looks ready for battle tonight! She’s got a big opportunity here, having defeated Cara Carnage just last week to earn this shot.
Riley Rouse: That’s right, Liam. Alex has been on a roll, and tonight she’s got a chance to walk out as the new LW Vanguard Champion. But Cara Carnage is not an easy hurdle to overcome.
The arena lights shift to red as "Valley of Disease" by Avatar erupts, heralding the arrival of Cara Carnage. She strides to the ring with a focused intensity, her LW Vanguard Title slung over her shoulder. The crowd gives a mixed reaction, cheering her fierce reputation while wary of her vicious in-ring style.
Liam Stewart: And here comes Cara Carnage, the reigning Vanguard Champion. She’s been dominant in her reign so far, but Alex has shown she can beat her.
Riley Rouse: Cara’s got that aura of unpredictability, Liam. She’s like a storm—beautiful yet destructive. She’ll do whatever it takes to keep that title around her waist.
DING!
As the bell rings, both competitors circle each other, Alex moving with deliberate steps and Cara bouncing slightly, ready to strike. They lock up in the center of the ring, Alex using her size advantage to push Cara back into the ropes.
Liam Stewart: Alex showing her strength early on, pushing Cara back into the ropes. She’s got to maintain control if she wants to win this one.
Riley Rouse: Absolutely. Alex needs to use her technical prowess to counter Cara’s wild offense.
Alex transitions into a side headlock, wrenching it tight, but Cara quickly slips out, countering with a sharp back elbow to Alex's midsection. Cara follows up with a swift scorpion kick, sending Alex stumbling back.
Liam Stewart: Quick escape and retaliation by Cara Carnage! That’s the kind of explosiveness that makes her so dangerous.
Riley Rouse: You blink, and Cara’s got you seeing stars. Alex needs to keep her guard up at all times.
Cara charges at Alex, looking for a corner body avalanche, but Alex sidesteps at the last moment. Cara crashes into the turnbuckles, and Alex takes advantage with a snap German suplex, bridging for a pin.
Liam Stewart: German suplex by Alex Andrews! She’s going for the pin!
Riley Rouse: Beautifully executed! But Cara kicks out at two.
Cara quickly gets back to her feet, shaking off the impact. She dodges an attempted leg lariat from Alex and counters with a slingblade bulldog, planting Alex face-first into the mat.
Liam Stewart: Cara with the slingblade bulldog! She’s turning the tide now.
Riley Rouse: That was quick thinking by Cara. She’s got to keep the pressure on Alex.
With Alex grounded, Cara climbs to the top rope, signaling for her Carastrophic moonsault. She launches herself into the air, but Alex rolls out of the way just in time, causing Cara to crash hard onto the mat.
Liam Stewart: Cara went for the Carastrophic, but Alex saw it coming!
Riley Rouse: A little too ambitious there, perhaps. Alex needs to capitalize now.
Alex, seizing the opportunity, delivers a running bicycle kick—Elysium—right to Cara’s jaw. Cara stumbles back, and Alex follows up with the Broken Wings backstabber, driving Cara into the canvas.
Liam Stewart: Elysium into Broken Wings! This could be it for Alex Andrews!
Riley Rouse: She’s got the momentum, but Cara’s not done yet!
Alex hooks the leg for the cover, but Cara kicks out at two and a half, drawing gasps from the crowd. Alex stays on the attack, attempting her Brain Death step-up axe kick, but Cara rolls under and counters with a discus forearm that sends Alex reeling.
Liam Stewart: What resilience from Cara Carnage! She’s still in this fight!
Riley Rouse: That discus forearm just rocked Alex’s world. Cara’s turning it up a notch.
Cara, sensing the shift in momentum, hits a step-up enziguri, dazing Alex further. She follows up with a devastating curb stomp—Cara-Less—before transitioning into her signature Midnight Sun.
Liam Stewart: Cara going for the Midnight Sun! She’s looking to end it!
Riley Rouse: If she hits this, it might just be over for Alex Andrews!
Cara connects with the Midnight Sun, dropping Alex onto her knee with brutal force. She quickly hooks the leg for the pin.
Liam Stewart: Midnight Sun connects! Here’s the cover!
Riley Rouse: One, two, three! Cara Carnage retains her title!
DING DING DING!!!
WINNER AND STILL LW VANGUARD CHAMPION: Cara Carnage, via Pinfall
The bell rings, and "Valley of Disease" plays again as Cara gets to her feet, raising her Vanguard Title triumphantly. She helps Alex up, nodding respectfully at her opponent before exiting the ring, still champion.
Liam Stewart: What a match! Alex Andrews gave it everything she had, but Cara Carnage remains the LW Vanguard Champion.
Riley Rouse: Both these women showed incredible heart tonight. Alex came so close, but Cara just had that extra edge when it mattered most.
As Cara heads up the ramp, Alex stands in the ring, soaking in the applause from the crowd. She nods in appreciation, knowing she pushed the champion to her limits.
Liam Stewart: A hard-fought battle, and I’m sure this won’t be the last we see of Alex Andrews in the title picture.
Riley Rouse: Definitely not, Liam. She’s proven she belongs here. What a night!
The camera fades as Alex waves to the fans, determined to come back stronger.
The arena buzzes with anticipation as the lights dim and "Watch Me" by Icon for Hire blares over the speakers. Kayla Taylor makes her way to the ring, exuding confidence and smirking at the fans who jeer her. She rolls her eyes at a few particularly loud hecklers, reveling in the reaction.
Liam Stewart: Kayla Taylor is making her presence known here in Limitless Wrestling, and she’s got a tall task ahead of her tonight against the enigma that is the fifth Crimson Ghost.
Riley Rouse: Kayla’s a formidable opponent, Liam; a former LW World Champion. She’s technical with a touch of high-flying flair. But she’ll have to stay sharp against someone as unpredictable as The Crimson Ghost.
As Kayla settles in the ring, the lights go out, and a sinister laughter echoes throughout the arena. "Spider Baby" by Fantômas hits, and The Crimson Ghost appears, shrouded in a haze of eerie red light. He moves slowly, deliberately, toward the ring, eyes locked on Kayla.
Liam Stewart: Here comes The Crimson Ghost, and the atmosphere just shifted. He’s an enigmatic figure, and his mission to strike fear into the wicked is well-known.
Riley Rouse: He’s a spooky babyface, that’s for sure. But don’t let the theatrics fool you; he’s a powerhouse in that ring.
DING!
The bell rings, and Kayla cautiously circles The Crimson Ghost, sizing up her opponent. Ghost stands in the center, unmoving, daring her to make the first move.
Liam Stewart: A tense start here as Kayla tries to figure out the best approach.
Riley Rouse: Ghost is playing mind games already. Kayla’s got to keep her cool.
Kayla charges forward, attempting a single leg dropkick, but Ghost sidesteps and counters with a swift exploder suplex, sending Kayla crashing to the mat. He follows up with a series of stiff kicks, each one landing with precision.
Liam Stewart: What a suplex by The Crimson Ghost! He’s not wasting any time getting to work.
Riley Rouse: Those kicks are brutal, Liam. Ghost isn’t here to mess around.
Kayla rolls to her feet, clutching her side. She regains her composure and catches Ghost with a sudden DDT, driving him into the canvas. She quickly follows up with a Michinoku Driver, going for a pin.
Liam Stewart: Kayla with the DDT and the Michinoku Driver! She’s looking for the win!
Riley Rouse: Quick thinking by Kayla, but Ghost kicks out at two.
Ghost powers out of the pin, pushing Kayla off. He rises to his feet and catches her with a swinging neckbreaker, maintaining his offensive momentum. He goes for a rear naked choke, applying pressure.
Liam Stewart: Crimson Ghost with the rear naked choke! He’s trying to wear her down.
Riley Rouse: Kayla’s got to find a way out of this. Ghost is relentless!
Kayla struggles against the hold, using her technical skills to slip out and counter with a butterfly suplex. Ghost hits the mat but rolls through, popping up and hitting Kayla with a superkick that sends her reeling into the corner.
Liam Stewart: Superkick from Ghost! Kayla’s in trouble now.
Riley Rouse: Ghost is picking up speed. Kayla needs to regroup.
Ghost runs at Kayla, looking for a corner splash, but she moves at the last second, causing him to collide with the turnbuckles. Kayla takes advantage, delivering her Plan A—Shining Wizard—right to Ghost’s face.
Liam Stewart: Shining Wizard connects! Kayla’s turning things around!
Riley Rouse: That could be a game-changer if she capitalizes.
Kayla signals for her Redemption finisher, but as she moves in, Ghost counters with his Jumpscare—Springboard Forearm Smash—knocking her off balance. He follows with a spider suplex, bridging into a pin.
Liam Stewart: Jumpscare into Suplexorcism! Ghost is on fire!
Riley Rouse: He’s got the pin, but Kayla kicks out at two! What resilience!
The match continues with both competitors exchanging blows. Ghost attempts his Grindhouse Death Scene, but Kayla escapes and lands a sideslam. Before she can capitalize further, Krista May Williams appears at ringside, climbing into the ring and blindsiding Ghost with a vicious clothesline.
Liam Stewart: Wait a minute! That’s Krista May Williams! What’s she doing here?
Riley Rouse: Looks like Kayla called in some backup. This doesn’t bode well for Ghost.
The referee immediately calls for the bell, disqualifying Kayla as Krista and Kayla begin to lay into Ghost with kicks and punches, overwhelming him.
DING DING DING!!!
WINNER: The Crimson Ghost V, via Disqualification
Liam Stewart: It’s a two-on-one assault! This is chaos!
Riley Rouse: Ghost is being taken apart! Somebody needs to stop this!
As the beatdown continues, Derrick Vayden's music hits, and he charges down the ramp, sliding into the ring. Krista and Kayla see him coming and quickly roll out, retreating through the crowd.
Liam Stewart: Here comes Derrick Vayden! He’s not going to let this go unanswered!
Riley Rouse: Krista and Kayla are hightailing it out of here. Smart move, considering Vayden’s reputation.
Derrick helps Ghost to his feet, and the two stare each other down warily, a silent acknowledgment passing between them. The tension in the ring is palpable as the show cuts to commercial.
Liam Stewart: What a turn of events! The alliance between Kayla and Krista could spell trouble for the LW roster.
Riley Rouse: But with allies like Derrick Vayden, Ghost isn’t alone in this fight. Things are heating up here in Limitless Wrestling!
The camera fades to black as the show goes to commercial.

Liam Stewart: FM Young using her size and strength advantage right from the get-go!
Riley Rouse: Smart move. She’s got to keep Alison grounded and avoid her high-flying antics.
FM hits Alison with a series of shoulder thrusts in the corner before whipping her across the ring. Alison rebounds off the ropes, and FM catches her with a devastating Man-Machine Interface discus clothesline, nearly taking Alison’s head off.
Liam Stewart: What a clothesline by FM Young! She’s not holding back!
Riley Rouse: She wants to make a statement here tonight, Liam. This is about pride.
FM goes for the cover, but Alison kicks out at two. Undeterred, FM pulls Alison up and attempts a suplex, but Alison slips out and lands a quick jumping clothesline, staggering FM.
Liam Stewart: Alison James with a counter! She’s not going down easy.

Liam Stewart: Alison’s going for the Infinite Nightmare! If she hits this, it could be over!
Riley Rouse: FM’s in trouble, Liam. She needs to move!
FM rolls out of the way at the last second, causing Alison to crash onto the mat. FM quickly capitalizes, hitting the Heart of a Phoenix lumbar check, driving Alison into the canvas. As FM goes for the pin, the referee gets accidentally knocked down during a scramble.
Liam Stewart: Heart of a Phoenix! FM’s got the momentum!
Riley Rouse: But wait, the referee’s down! This could change everything!
With the referee out, the crowd suddenly erupts as FM Young’s daughter, Nadia Markos, emerges from the crowd. She slides into the ring and delivers a wicked clothesline to FM, leaving her sprawled on the mat.
Liam Stewart: What the—Nadia Markos! What is she doing here?
Riley Rouse: I can’t believe it! She just took out her own mother!
As Nadia exits the ring, Alison slowly regains her bearings, realizing the opportunity. The referee comes to just as Alison drapes an arm over FM for the cover.
Liam Stewart: Alison’s got the cover! This is chaos!
Riley Rouse: One, two, three! Alison James wins the match!
DING DING DING!!!
WINNER: Alison “Schism” James, via Pinfall
The bell rings, and Alison’s music plays as she slowly gets to her feet, clutching her head but smirking at the victory. FM Young stirs on the mat, looking both pained and bewildered by her daughter’s betrayal.
Liam Stewart: What a shocking turn of events! FM Young was poised for victory until Nadia Markos got involved.
Riley Rouse: Family drama spilling into the ring, and Alison James takes advantage like the opportunist she is.
Alison exits the ring, raising her arms in triumph while FM sits up, staring at the spot where her daughter disappeared. The tension is palpable as the show fades to commercial, leaving more questions than answers.
Liam Stewart: This rivalry just got a whole lot more personal, Riley. What does this mean for FM Young and her daughter?
The arena lights dim as the opening notes of "The Final Countdown" by Europe blare through the speakers. Melody Slayton makes her entrance, holding her Money in the Bank briefcase high. The crowd erupts in cheers, acknowledging the stakes of this high-profile main event.
Liam Stewart: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to our main event of the evening! Melody Slayton is set to put her Money in the Bank briefcase on the line against the LW Emerald City Champion, Jolee Hamly.
Riley Rouse: This is a huge opportunity for Melody. Winning tonight means walking away with the briefcase and the championship! But Jolee’s not going to give up her title easily, and you have to believe she’d kill to have that briefcase, in addition to her title.
As Melody enters the ring, "Open Your Eyes" by Guano Apes hits, and Jolee Hamly appears, the Emerald City Championship proudly displayed around her waist. The crowd's support is split between the two fan-favorites.
Liam Stewart: Jolee Hamly has been a fighting champion, and she’s proven herself time and time again. This is going to be one incredible match!

Riley Rouse: It's a chess match, Liam. They’ve got to think three steps ahead.
Melody kips up quickly, showing off her athleticism, and catches Jolee with a lightning-fast arm drag. She follows it up with a dropkick that sends Jolee sprawling into the ropes.
Liam Stewart: Beautiful dropkick from Melody Slayton! She’s using her speed to her advantage here.
Riley Rouse: She’s got the momentum right now, but Jolee is tough as nails.

Liam Stewart: Jolee with a shotgun dropkick! She’s turning the tide now.
Riley Rouse: This is what makes Jolee so dangerous. She can change the pace of the match in an instant.
Jolee presses her advantage, lifting Melody for a quick snap suplex and transitioning into a pin. Melody kicks out at two, and Jolee immediately transitions into a seated chin lock, trying to wear Melody down.
Liam Stewart: Smart strategy by Jolee, keeping Melody grounded and conserving her own energy.
Riley Rouse: It’s a marathon, not a sprint. Jolee’s looking to wear Melody down before going for the kill.
Melody fights back to her feet, driving elbows into Jolee's midsection to break the hold. She hits the ropes and nails Jolee with a running Coldfire Strike V-Trigger, staggering the champion.
Liam Stewart: Coldfire Strike! Melody’s back in this fight!
Riley Rouse: She’s got Jolee reeling! Melody needs to capitalize now.
Seizing the opportunity, Melody hooks Jolee for a vertical suplex but shifts it mid-air into a twisting neckbreaker, showcasing her innovative offense. She covers Jolee, but the champion kicks out just before three.

Liam Stewart: Jolee misses the Cyber Strike! That’s got to hurt!
Riley Rouse: Melody’s got to capitalize! This is her chance!
Sensing the moment, Melody signals for the end and sets up for The Full Effect V2. She tunes up the band as the crowd roars in anticipation. Jolee slowly rises, and Melody delivers a perfectly timed Sweet Chin Music, flooring Jolee.
Liam Stewart: The Full Effect V2! Melody hits it!
Riley Rouse: Cover her, Melody! This is your moment!
