Liam Stewart: Ladies and gentlemen, Limitless Wrestling HAS RETURNED!
Riley Rouse: Welcome to The Return, live from Fort Limitless in Seattle, Washington! We’ve got twelve huge matches tonight, including a one-night tournament to crown the NEW LW World Champion.
Liam Stewart: No more wasting time; let’s head to the ring for our first match of the night!
Riley Rouse: The opening match of the LW World Title tournament features two dynamic competitors with contrasting styles.
Liam Stewart: “Stutterfly” Katie Shelley, known for her high-flying acrobatics and resilient spirit, faces off against “The Poisoned Rose” Kaya Parker, a cunning and aggressive heel who thrives on strikes and submissions.
Riley Rouse: Hey, you’ve done your homework.
Liam Stewart: Oh, I asked A.I. to preview this match.
Riley Rouse: That tracks.
The arena crackles with energy as "Go Beyond!" by Danny Weissner echoes through the venue, signaling the arrival of “Stutterfly” Katie Shelley. The crowd erupts in cheers as Shelley, adorned in vibrant ring gear adorned with butterfly motifs, dances her way to the ring with infectious enthusiasm. Across from her, the ominous chords of "Evil Ways" by Blue Saraceno fill the arena, heralding the entrance of “The Poisoned Rose” Kaya Parker. Dressed in black, Parker exudes confidence as she steps through a fire ring, the flames reflecting in her intense grey eyes.
Riley Rouse: Parker out here looking HOT tonight, and I don’t mean her attire.
Liam Stewart: Although… DAMMMMNNNN.
The match starts with a tense standoff, Parker attempting to assert dominance with aggressive strikes while Shelley uses her agility to evade and counter. Shelley gains momentum early with a flurry of quick kicks and aerial maneuvers, keeping Parker off balance. The Poisoned Rose, however, responds with vicious strikes and submissions, targeting Shelley's limbs in an attempt to ground her high-flying offense.
Riley Rouse: Smart thinking by Parker. Shelley’s most dangerous in the air. Take away her wings, and she’s a sitting duck.
As the match progresses, Parker's aggressive tactics begin to wear down Shelley, who fights back with determination fueled by the crowd's support. Shelley launches into her signature Red Ring of Death (Flying Overcastle Neckbreaker), stunning Parker and gaining a near fall. The Poisoned Rose retaliates with a Protocol K (Discus Headbutt), dazing Shelley and shifting the momentum once again.
Liam Stewart: Parker has an answer for everything Shelley can come up with!
The climax of the match sees both competitors pushing their limits. Shelley unleashes a flurry of kicks and flips, culminating in a Warp Whistle (Tornado DDT) that plants Parker squarely on the mat. Sensing an opportunity, Shelley ascends the turnbuckle and executes her Final Smash (Swanton Bomb), crashing down on Parker with precision. She hooks Parker's leg for the pinfall.
WINNER: Katie Shelley, via Pinfall
Riley Rouse: The second match of the LW World Title tournament pits two former champions against each other in a clash of styles and egos. Beatrix Decker, the woman who sometimes seems to be more demon than wrestler, faces Kayla Taylor, a technically proficient competitor with sporadic bursts of high-flying offense.
Liam Stewart: Both are determined to prove themselves and reclaim championship glory. I can’t imagine either woman losing, but of course, one must. And let’s not forget Heatwave 2023, where Decker beat Taylor for the LW World Title.
Riley Rouse: Will we see a repeat performance tonight?
The arena dims as "Watch Me" by Icon for Hire heralds the arrival of Kayla Taylor, a confident and calculating presence. Taylor enters with purpose, her eyes locked on the ring where Beatrix Decker awaits. The crowd's reaction is mixed as Taylor takes her corner, focused and ready for battle. The atmosphere shifts as "Wolf Like Me" by Local H shatters the silence, signaling the entrance of Beatrix Decker. Trixie slowly paces towards the ring, taking in the loud boos from the crowd. She enters the ring, her gaze never leaving Kayla Taylor as her theme fades.
Liam Stewart: This match might just decide the whole tournament. Let’s get it on!
The match begins with a tense lock-up, Taylor using her technical prowess to gain an early advantage with a series of fluid counters and submissions. Decker, however, proves her resilience by countering Taylor's ground game with unorthodox strikes and biting taunts aimed at getting under Taylor's skin. The pace quickens as Decker shifts into a brawling style, utilizing the ropes and corners to her advantage.
Riley Rouse: It’s always a treat seeing two veteran wrestlers just… go to work, you know?
Taylor regains control with a perfectly executed Plan A (Shining Wizard), staggering Decker and setting up for her signature technical maneuvers. She locks in the Texas Cloverleaf, wrenching Decker's back, but Trixie manages to reach the ropes, forcing a break. Frustrated but determined, Taylor unleashes a flurry of suplexes and DDTs, each one calculated to wear down her opponent.
Liam Stewart: Taylor may be nearing victory here!
As the match reaches its climax, Decker digs deep, countering Taylor's Broadway Lights (Cross Rhodes) attempt with a swift reversal into her Jinx Jrop (Leg Trap Sunset Powerbomb). The impact shakes the ring, leaving both competitors gasping for breath. Decker seizes the opportunity, executing her finisher "Get Jinxed" (Black Widow Submission), locking Taylor into a painful hold.
Riley Rouse: There it is, the move that ended Kayla Taylor’s World Title reign last August! Can she escape, or will history repeat itself?!
Struggling against the pain, Taylor fights to break free, clawing toward the ropes with every ounce of strength she has left. The crowd roars as Decker wrenches back, forcing Taylor to tap out.
WINNER: Beatrix Decker, via Submission
With this victory, Beatrix Decker advances one step closer to championship glory, showcasing her resilience and cunning against a skilled opponent in Kayla Taylor.
Liam Stewart: Whelp, there it is. Just give Decker the title now. I can’t see anybody beating her or that submission!
Riley Rouse: Let’s not forget that just a few months ago at Ides of March, Mattie Knox Jr. bested Trixie in what can only be described as an upset! So, it’s definitely possible!
Liam Stewart: Yeah, and if I’m Beatrix Decker, I’m spending the next few months off making sure that NEVER happens again.
Riley Rouse: Up next, we have an intriguing clash between former Vanguard and Emerald City Champion Hanako Arai, and Azurine Vebbins, the holiday-obsessed housewife known as "The Adorkable Angel".
Liam Stewart: Also, former two-time BWF World Champion!
Riley Rouse: Yes, and she’d love to add LW World Champion to that list as well. But let’s not discount Hanako, still looking for her first World Title in this industry. That can be all the motivation one needs to push through to victory!
The arena fills with anticipation as "Stand By Me" by Stereopony sets the stage for Hanako Arai's entrance. Decked out in vibrant holiday-themed attire, she dances down the ramp, spreading cheer and excitement to the crowd. Across the ring, Azurine Vebbins makes her entrance to the upbeat rhythm of "Radio Gaga" by Queen, showcasing her dance skills and receiving a loud, albeit mixed, reaction from the audience.
Riley Rouse: Sounds like some of the Seattle faithful are still a little sore that Vebbins has reunited with Beatrix Decker, who is definitely NOT a fan favorite here in Limitless Wrestling.
Liam Stewart: Oh my god, imagine if THAT is the tournament final! AzzTrix, one on one, for the gold!
The match starts with a respectful handshake between Arai and Vebbins, highlighting their sportsmanship. Arai utilizes her agility and unorthodox offense, catching Vebbins off guard with a rapid series of kicks and acrobatic maneuvers. Vebbins, known for her technical prowess, counters with precise strikes and submission holds, aiming to ground Arai and neutralize her high-energy style.
Riley Rouse: Smart thinking by Vebbins early on. Showing why she’s a former, and likely future, World Champion.
As the match progresses, Vebbins gains momentum with a stiff forearm shiver followed by a snap suplex, displaying her calculated approach to wear down Arai. The Adorkable Angel transitions into a Boston Crab, applying pressure to Arai's lower back, but Arai refuses to submit, inching her way toward the ropes.
Liam Stewart: Hanako refusing to give up here with so much on the line.
Arai rallies with a flurry of aerial attacks, including a slingshot dropkick that sends Vebbins reeling. She follows up with a Suicide Somersault Senton from the top rope, crashing down on Vebbins and earning a close two-count. The momentum shifts back and forth as both competitors showcase their resilience and determination.
Riley Rouse: I’m amazed at how even this match has been! Hanako has definitely come into her own over the last several months here in Limitless Wrestling
In a pivotal moment, Arai counters Vebbins' attempt at the Pearly Gatekeeper with a quick reversal into her finishing move, Majikkuawā (Black Widow). Arai twists and torques Vebbins' arm, locking in the submission hold with precision. The crowd roars as Vebbins, unable to escape, reluctantly taps out.
WINNER: Hanako Arai, via Submission
After the match, Hanako celebrates her hard-earned victory, marking a significant step towards her dream of capturing the LW World Title.
Riley Rouse: Six months ago, I might have considered this match result an upset, but now? We may just be in the final stages of Hanako Arai’s ascension to the peak of Limitless Wrestling!
Liam Stewart: I’d be more impressed if I hadn’t put money down on Vebbins winning the whole thing!
Riley Rouse: Never change, Liam. Never change. Well… maybe change a little.
The arena darkens as “Circus for a Psycho” by Skillet echoes through the speakers, signaling the arrival of the terrifying, enigmatic Schism. Dressed in an eerie and malevolent clown attire, Schism makes her way wordlessly down to the ring, exuding confidence and determination to advance in the tournament. The crowd's anticipation reaches a fever pitch as “Seize the Power” by YONAKA blasts through the arena, heralding FM Young's entrance to thunderous applause.
Riley Rouse: And here comes the two-time LW World Champion! No doubt looking to make it a Hat Trick here tonight at The Return!
Liam Stewart: So far, Katie Shelley, Beatrix Decker and Hanako Arai have all advanced. With this match, we’ll have tonight’s semi-finals all set! Now, let’s hope for her sake, Schism is here to fight and not… heh, clown around.
Riley Rouse: Ignoring the obvious attempt at a bad joke, I will agree and say that if Schism doesn’t come at Effy with everything she has, this one’s gonna be over real quick.
The match kicks off with a tense stare-down, Schism attempting to intimidate Young with her unsettling presence. However, FM Young remains unfazed, using her height advantage to dominate the early exchanges with powerful strikes and grappling maneuvers. Schism resorts to her mat wrestling expertise, attempting to ground Young with technical holds and joint locks.
Liam Stewart: Technical mat wrestling from the crazy clown girl. That is… not something I had on my bingo card for tonight.
Despite Schism's crafty tactics, FM Young showcases her agility with a swift Superchick (Shiranui), stunning Schism and nearly scoring a quick pinfall. The match intensifies with each passing minute, both wrestlers trading momentum with hard-hitting moves and high-impact maneuvers. Schism gains control with a series of well-executed strikes, targeting Young's midsection and attempting to wear down the veteran.
Riley Rouse: Every time Effy gets rolling, Schism finds some way to shut it down. Color me impressed thus far.
FM Young fights back with a display of resilience, countering Schism's offense with a thunderous Stand Alone Complex (Elevated gutbuster), shaking the ring and earning another near fall. The crowd rallies behind Young, sensing her determination to secure victory and advance in the tournament. As the match reaches its climax, Young sets up for her finishing move, the Human Error Processor (Pop-up Powerbomb), aiming to put an end to Schism's challenge once and for all.
Liam Stewart: HUMAN ERROR PROCESSOR! THIS ONE IS OVER!
However, just as Young is about to execute the devastating maneuver, the arena plunges into darkness.
Riley Rouse: What the… what in the name of All Elite Wrestling is going on?!
The audience gasps when the lights flicker back on, and standing at ringside is none other than former LW wrestler Nadia Markos… FM Young's daughter! The shock and confusion on Young's face is palpable as Nadia Markos stares coldly at her mother.
Liam Stewart: What the heck is going on, Riley?
Riley Rouse: I have no idea… HEY! Effy! Watch out!!!
Seizing on the distraction, Schism spins her opponent around and capitalizes with a vicious Mandible Claw submission, locking it in tight on FM Young, who struggles against the excruciating hold. Young tries to fight out of it, nearly counters out twice, but eventually, she falls unconscious and the referee has no choice but to call for the bell!
WINNER: Schism, via Referee Stoppage
The arena erupts in disbelief as Schism celebrates her controversial victory, aided by the shocking betrayal of FM Young's own daughter. Nadia just stares at Young’s fallen form as Schism exits the ring and makes her way back up the ramp without a sound.
Riley Rouse: I’m in shock right now! Schism just beat FM Young in the middle of the ring… and Effy’s own daughter helped make it happen!
Liam Stewart: Now, that… I DEFINITELY didn’t have on my bingo card for tonight. Wow.
EARLIER TODAY
Vanessa Page is walking into Fort Limitless. Her usually over confident demeanor has been replaced by extreme focus.
Vanessa Page: I’m sure all of you expect me to be confident beyond belief merely because I believe in myself. As I always do and forever will. But I know what I’m stepping into tonight. Better yet I know who I’m stepping into the ring with. Jessi Ozborne and I have stepped into the ring with each other. Some she has won and some I’ve won. So our past experience proves to be a push because we’ve both learned things about one another. But what I’m counting on is for Jessi to go down in a blaze of glory tonight in order for me to obtain the BWF World Heavyweight Championship and call it my own. A title shot that I’ve patiently waited for the last three months to get and as you might know that I don’t like waiting to get what I want. The BWF World Championship is on the top of the list of what I want.
A smile that Vanessa attempts to prevent comes over her face.
Vanessa Page: Just thinking about becoming BWF World Champion I can’t help but smile because I not only want to be World Champion but I need to be BWF World Champion. To reach the true pinnacle of success is something that I’ve always craved. Just as I know Jessi craves to keep what she has gotten but now is the perfect time to get rid of the old and in with the new.
Vanessa Page: Over the last few weeks I’ve been living the dream. Grayson and I have started our lives together as husband and wife. There is no way I’m letting this utopic feeling I’ve had since we said I do go. Tonight I’m doing what I came for and finally become the World Heavyweight Champion so that the #FlawlessEra can finally begin in Limitless Wrestling.
Vanessa keeps walking down a hallway of Fort Limitless as the camera cuts back to the ring.
The arena crackles with excitement as Akemi Hayashi and Sabrina Scott, poised challengers, stand opposite the reigning Undisputed LW Tag Team Champions, Talia Areano and Amber Yung. Areano, a master of technical wrestling, and Yung, an aggressive MMA-style fighter, exude confidence as they eye their opponents.
Riley Rouse: Akemi Hayashi, as Dagger, is a former BWF Tag Team Champion as a member of The Forgotten. Tonight, she has a chance to win those titles with Sabrina Scott, her significant other…
Liam Stewart: …but they’ve got a tall order ahead of them as they challenge two very accomplished former singles Champions - and the current Undisputed Tag Champs!
The match kicks off with a tense standoff as Hayashi and Areano circle each other, trading quick grappling exchanges. Areano attempts to ground Hayashi with technical submissions, but Hayashi counters with agile escapes and striking combinations, showcasing her Puroresu-inspired offense. Across the ring, Scott eagerly awaits her chance to enter, mirroring the crowd's growing anticipation with each cheer.
Riley Rouse: Akemi not making it easy for Talia to land a blow here.
Hayashi gains momentum with a lightning-fast series of kicks, momentarily staggering Areano. Sensing opportunity, Hayashi tags in Scott, who bursts into the ring with the enthusiasm of a fan favorite. Scott's style blends technical skill with contagious enthusiasm that resonates with the audience.
Liam Stewart: Sabrina Scott takes great pride in being from right here in Seattle, Washington, and the fans here love her for it!
Scott and Areano lock up in the center of the ring, engaging in a back-and-forth struggle of holds and reversals. Areano tries to slow the pace with calculated strikes and submissions, but Scott counters with resilience and innovation. Scott stuns Areano with a Matter Planter (X-Factor), leaving her momentarily dazed. Areano quickly regains composure and tags in Yung, shifting momentum.
Riley Rouse: Scott not going for the pin there, that might have been a mistake. You don’t get many chances for the win over a veteran like Talia Areano.
Liam Stewart: And now she’s got a fresh Amber Yung to deal with as a result! This deal keeps getting worse all the time!
Yung enters with an intensity reflecting her MMA background, taking control with powerful strikes and submission attempts. Scott finds herself on the defensive, but her spirit remains unbroken. She weathers Yung's onslaught, countering with precise strikes and evasive maneuvers, frustrating Yung's attempts to finish quickly.
Riley Rouse: Yung and Scott are no strangers to one another, having fought last year for the Vanguard Title on a few occasions. Yung got the better of Scott during most if not all of those battles, so a win here tonight would be huge for the Seattle native!
As both teams exchange rapid-fire tags, the match reaches its climax, keeping the audience on edge. In a crucial moment, Hayashi neutralizes Areano outside the ring, leaving Scott alone with Yung. Yung presses her advantage, seeking to end the match decisively. However, Scott summons her reserves of resilience and heart, rallying the crowd behind her.
Liam Stewart: Akemi not above playing a little dirty to protect her partner!
With a burst of adrenaline, Scott executes her signature Blue Light Special (Black Arrow), a breathtaking maneuver that sends Yung crashing to the mat. The arena erupts as Scott makes the cover. The referee's hand slaps the mat for the three-count, crowning Akemi Hayashi and Sabrina Scott as the new Undisputed LW Tag Team Champions amidst thunderous cheers from the crowd!
WINNERS AND NEW UNDISPUTED LW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS: Sabrina Scott & Akemi Hayashi, via Pinfall
Riley Rouse: And just like that, with Talia unable to help her opponent, Sabrina Scott pins Amber Yung and we have new Undisputed LW Tag Team Champions!
Post-match, amidst celebrations, a shocking betrayal unfolds. Amber Yung, visibly frustrated by the loss, suddenly attacks her partner, Talia Areano, leaving her sprawled on the mat. The crowd gasps in disbelief as Yung storms out of the ring, casting a shadow over what should have been a triumphant moment for Scott and Hayashi.
Riley Rouse: What was that all about?!
Liam Stewart: Yung blames Areano for their loss, and I can’t say I blame her!
Riley Rouse: Well, I have a feeling those two haven’t seen the last of each other… except maybe as partners. That said, congratulations to the NEW Undisputed Tag Team Champions, Sabrina Scott and Talia Areano! What a win!
The arena pulses with anticipation as Emily Corlen, the imposing challenger with a storied career, makes her way to the ring first. Her presence is met with a mix of boos and grudging respect from the crowd. Corlen, clad in black and silver, exudes confidence bordering on arrogance as she steps through the ropes.
Riley Rouse: Corlen is no doubt focused on her goal tonight; dethroning Jessie Lee and claiming the BWF National Championship.
Lee's entrance is electrifying, a stark contrast to Corlen's demeanor. The chaotic babyface from Perth, Australia, enters to a thunderous ovation, her theme "SUPERNOVA" setting the tone for the clash ahead. Lee wears the title proudly around her waist, acknowledging the roaring fans with a grin before handing off the belt to the referee.
Liam Stewart: Most competitors might be sweating at least a little bit heading into a title defense against one of the most accomplished members of the Limitless Wrestling roster. Jessie Lee, however, is not most competitors, and I have to wonder if her opponent might be the one doubting herself this evening.
The match begins with a tense staredown, both competitors circling cautiously before locking up in a test of strength. Corlen's power advantage becomes immediately apparent as she shoves Lee back into the corner, delivering a stiff forearm to the jaw. Lee responds with a quick succession of strikes, rocking Corlen and forcing her to retreat.
Riley Rouse: I guarantee that Emily Corlen is not used to being put on the defensive so quickly. Lee might shatter her confidence before this match even truly gets underway.
The action spills outside the ring early on, with Corlen using the environment to her advantage, slamming Lee into the barricade and punishing her with calculated precision. Back inside, Corlen maintains control with a series of power moves, showcasing her repertoire with a devastating running powerslam that nearly secures a pinfall.
Liam Stewart: A close two count, but the “Bad Bitch” Jessie Lee staying in this match.
Lee, resilient as ever, fights back with a burst of adrenaline, countering Corlen's power-based offense with her own hard-hitting strikes and suplexes. A thunderous BOOM! (Super(Wo)man Punch) catches Corlen off guard, staggering the challenger and bringing the crowd to its feet. Lee capitalizes with a spine-jarring LEEthality (spinning double underhook facebuster), but Corlen kicks out just before the three-count.
Riley Rouse: One… two… NO! Wow, Corlen kicked out! I absolutely thought that one was over!
As the match reaches its climax, both women trade near falls, each coming agonizingly close to victory. Corlen unleashes her signature moves, including a vicious Down in Flames (Pedigree), but Lee refuses to stay down. With sheer determination, Lee summons her last reserves of energy, countering a Foregone Conclusion attempt into a stunning reversal.
Liam Stewart: Foregone Conclu… NO! Lee reverses it!
In a moment of pure adrenaline and instinct, Lee throws Corlen across the ring, hits the ropes, and delivers a thunderous FATALITY! (Brogue Kick), the impact echoing throughout the arena. Corlen crashes to the mat, stunned, as Lee covers her for the three-count and the win!
WINNER AND STILL BWF NATIONAL CHAMPION: Jessie Lee, via Pinfall
The crowd erupts in jubilation as Jessie Lee, battered but triumphant, holds her title high amidst the adoration of her fans. Corlen, begrudgingly acknowledging Lee's victory, exits the ring with a mix of frustration and respect, leaving the champion to celebrate her hard-fought defense.
Riley Rouse: And in dominant fashion, Jessie Lee retains the BWF National Championship against a very game Emily Corlen.
Liam Stewart: What a match that was!
The arena crackles with anticipation as the lights dim, and the crowd erupts into cheers. The stage is set for a monumental clash as two champions prepare to collide in a title unification match. First, making her way to the ring, accompanied by the pulsating beats of "Freak" by KISS, is Alexis Lemon, the high-flying and determined BWF Intercontinental Champion - the longest reigning in history! She strides down the ramp with unwavering determination, soaking in the energy of the crowd.
Riley Rouse: There is no doubt in my mind that Alexis Lemon embodies the spirit of a lifelong wrestling fan turned champion. We all know how important that title is to her, and tonight, as she faces maybe the greatest BWF legend ever, her greatest test is before her.
Across the ring, his entrance heralded by the anthemic "The Right Direction" by The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, enters Gabe Shelley, the resilient and innovative BWF Sovereign Champion. Shelley exudes confidence and focus as he marches towards the squared circle. The crowd roars in approval, recognizing the magnitude of the match about to unfold.
Liam Stewart: You alluded to it before, Riley, but Gabe Shelley is not just *A* BWF legend… he is *THE* BWF legend. With apologies to Anthony Johns, of course. Shelley is the literal personification of the Blazenwing Wrestling Federation, and tonight, he has the chance to make history - and end history - in one fell swoop.
The bell rings, signaling the start of this highly anticipated contest. Shelley and Lemon cautiously circle each other, each studying their opponent with respect etched on their faces. They lock up in a test of strength, with Shelley using his size advantage to push Lemon towards the ropes. Lemon counters with her agility, slipping out and delivering a quick succession of arm drags and dropkicks that send Shelley reeling.
Riley Rouse: Gabe may be the biggest legend in BWF history, but he also earned that title over two decades. No matter how good he is, I’m not sure he can keep up with Lemon’s youthful energy!
Shelley regains control with a powerful clothesline followed by a textbook suplex, showcasing his technical prowess and strength. He targets Lemon's midsection with calculated knee strikes and backbreakers, trying to wear down the high-energy champion. Lemon fights back with lightning-fast strikes and aerial attacks, catching Shelley off guard with a springboard crossbody that nearly secures a pinfall.
Liam Stewart: Close but no cigar! You gotta do better than that to keep down THE Mad Dogg!
Riley Rouse: I doubt Lexi thought that was gonna win the match, but it DID wear Shelley out just a little bit more, which is the key to winning any match.
With sheer determination, Lemon battles out of Shelley's headlock, launching herself off the ropes with a spectacular springboard tornado DDT that leaves Shelley stunned on the mat. She follows up with a flurry of kicks and strikes, culminating in a question mark kick that sends Shelley staggering into the corner. Lemon ascends the turnbuckle, looking to capitalize on her momentum with a high-risk maneuver.
Liam Stewart: Lexi Lemon going for broke here!
Lemon leaps from the top rope with a diving missile dropkick that connects flush, but Shelley miraculously kicks out just before the referee's hand slaps the mat for the three-count. The audience is on their feet, caught in the throes of this gripping back-and-forth battle for supremacy. Shelley fights back with a thunderous Giga Impact (Sliced Bread #2), but Lemon manages to kick out at the last possible moment, showing her resilience and refusal to quit.
Riley Rouse: The streak is ov- NO! LEMON KICKED OUT! WOW!
As the match enters its final stages, both champions dig deep into their arsenals, pulling out all the stops to secure victory. Shelley attempts his devastating reVolt (Cradle Shock), but Lemon counters into a jaw-dropping Sourball (Corner cannonball), driving Shelley into the turnbuckle with incredible force. The arena shakes with excitement as Lemon ascends the ropes once more, signaling for the end.
Liam Stewart: Lemon had the reVolt scouted, and now she’s on the verge of victory! Can she hit this and bring this match home?!
With the crowd roaring in anticipation, Lemon executes her iconic Gloomy Sunday (Panama Sunrise), flipping Shelley over in mid-air and driving him into the canvas. She hooks the leg for the cover, the referee slides into position: one... two... three!
WINNER AND STILL BWF INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPION/FINAL BWF SOVEREIGN CHAMPION: Alexis Lemon, via Pinfall
The arena explodes into a frenzy of cheers as Alexis Lemon emerges victorious, crowned as the unified BWF Intercontinental Champion. She collapses to her knees in sheer disbelief and joy, clutching both of her championship belts tightly against her chest. Shelley, battered but not broken, extends a hand to Lemon in a display of sportsmanship and respect.
Riley Rouse: A disappointing loss for Gabe Shelley, but a tremendous show of respect from the veteran Hall of Famer to, no doubt, a future comrade in the BWF Hall of Fame.
As Alexis Lemon leaps the barricade and celebrates amidst a sea of adoring fans, Shelley exits the ring, visibly disappointed but gracious in defeat, acknowledging Lemon's hard-fought victory. Despite his disappointment, he still pauses to pull out a sharpie from his boot and autograph the camera lens before heading through the curtain, Lemon still celebrating in the crowd.
Liam Stewart: Here we go with the first of two semifinal matches. Two former World Champions, both eager to get back to the top of the mountain!
Riley Rouse: Both competitors have overcome tough challenges to reach this point, but only one can move closer to championship glory.
The arena is electrified with anticipation as "Go Beyond!" by Danny Weissner blasts through the speakers, signaling the entrance of “Stutterfly” Katie Shelley. Dressed in her signature vibrant attire, Shelley leaps onto the stage with boundless energy, soaking in the cheers from the crowd. Afterwards, Beatrix Decker enters to the eerie sounds of "Wolf Like Me" by Local H, exuding confidence with a smirk on her face, ready to prove why she belongs in the finals.
Liam Stewart: Oh, I know that look. Katie’s gonna die.
Riley Rouse: I’d love to disagree with you, but… yeesh. You might be right.
The match begins with a cautious approach, both Shelley and Decker circling each other in the ring, measuring their opponent's strengths and weaknesses. Decker, known for her aggressive style, takes the early advantage with a series of stiff kicks and forearm strikes, targeting Shelley's midsection and keeping her on the defensive. Shelley, however, quickly turns the tide with her speed and agility, evading Decker's strikes and retaliating with a rapid-fire combination of kicks and acrobatic maneuvers. She sends Decker reeling with a Red Ring of Death (Flying Overcastle Neckbreaker), stunning the goth wrestler and earning a close two-count.
Liam Stewart: Gonna need a lot more to keep a demon like Beatrix Decker down!
As the match progresses, both competitors unleash their full arsenal of signature moves and high-impact maneuvers. Decker attempts to ground Shelley with a relentless assault, incorporating elements of hardcore wrestling with innovative use of the ring environment. At one point, after an inadvertent ref bump, Decker introduces a steel chair into the mix, aiming to inflict maximum damage on Shelley and gain a decisive advantage.
Riley Rouse: Decker going dirty and there’s no ref to stop her! This doesn’t bode well for Shelley’s chances.
Despite Decker's ruthless tactics, Shelley refuses to stay down, rallying the crowd with her resilience and determination. She mounts a comeback with a Warp Whistle (Tornado DDT) followed by a Seismic Toss (Release Snap Dragon Suplex).
Liam Stewart: Shelley is rallying here and the crowd is electric!
The momentum swings back and forth as both competitors come close to securing victory. Decker counters Shelley's Final Smash (Swanton Bomb) with a well-timed evasion, narrowly escaping defeat. The intensity reaches its peak as Shelley sets up for her finishing move, the Limit Break (RKO), signaling the beginning of the end for Decker.
Riley Rouse: Shelley looking for her biggest move - but will it be enough?
With the crowd on their feet, Shelley executes the Limit Break with flawless precision, driving Decker into the canvas with authority. She hooks the leg for the pinfall as the referee counts: One! Two! Three!
WINNER: Katie Shelley, via Pinfall
The arena erupts in cheers as “Stutterfly” Katie Shelley celebrates her hard-fought victory, moving one step closer to championship glory. Beatrix Decker, though defeated, earns the respect of the audience for her tenacity and ferocity in the ring.
Riley Rouse: Unreal! With a come from behind win, Katie Shelley has just punched her ticket to the finals of this title tournament!
Liam Stewart: Now, the question is, will she be facing Hanako Arai or Schism?
Liam Stewart: Up next, we have a Japanese prodigy on her best run ever against a psycho clown wrapped in mystery. Both are looking for their first World Title, but only one can advance to tonight’s main event title match!
Riley Rouse: Indeed, both competitors are determined to secure their spot in the finals and inch closer to championship glory.
After both competitors make their way to the ring, the match begins with a tense standoff, both Hanako and Schism circling each other cautiously, studying their opponent's movements. Hanako initiates the action with her agile strikes and evasive maneuvers, attempting to keep Schism off-balance. However, Schism counters with her own brand of aggression, utilizing her mat wrestling expertise to ground Hanako and assert dominance early on.
Liam Stewart: More mat wrestling from the evil clown. Man… wrestling is WILD.
Schism employs underhanded tactics to gain an advantage, targeting Hanako's legs and lower body with calculated precision. She locks in a series of punishing submissions, testing Hanako's resilience and pain threshold. Despite the pain, Hanako refuses to submit, displaying her fighting spirit and determination to overcome the odds.
Riley Rouse: If there’s one thing she’s proven over the last few months, it’s that Hanako Arai is incredibly resilient!
As the match progresses, Hanako mounts a spirited comeback, utilizing her acrobatic prowess to evade Schism's attacks and deliver rapid-fire strikes of her own. She executes a flurry of high-flying maneuvers, including a Suicide Somersault Senton and a Split Evasion, gaining momentum and eliciting cheers from the crowd.
Liam Stewart: Arai must might be rolling her way into the main event at this rate!
However, Schism's relentless assault proves too much to handle as she regains control with a vicious combination of strikes and submission holds. She traps Hanako in the corner and unleashes a relentless barrage of stomps and strikes, wearing down her opponent with each devastating blow.
Riley Rouse: Schism might be ready to put this one away!
With the match reaching its climax, Schism ascends to the top rope, positioning herself for one of her devastating finishers, the Top-Rope Double Stomp. The crowd watches in anticipation as Schism launches herself into the air, crashing down onto Hanako with bone-crushing force. The impact reverberates throughout the arena as Schism hooks the leg for the pinfall. Despite the crowd’s pleas, Arai is unable to kick out and the bell rings to thunderous boos.
WINNER: Schism, via Pinfall
The arena falls silent as Schism celebrates her hard-fought victory, cementing her place in the finals of the LW World Title tournament. Hanako, though defeated, receives a standing ovation for her valiant effort and resilience throughout the match.
Riley Rouse: Liam, the stage is set for an epic showdown in the finals as Schism prepares to face “Stutterfly” Katie Shelley for the opportunity to become the new LW World Champion!
Liam Stewart: Hoo boy, feels like double bracket breakers on this one, but at the same time, it’s gonna be one hell of a main event! I can’t wait!
IN-RING SEGMENT
Samara Starling is in the ring, thanking the Limitless Wrestling fans for their patience over the last several months. Before she can say too much, however, “Paranoid” by Pop Evil hits the sound system and Julianna DiMaria comes out with a microphone as she makes her entrance with the Emerald City Championship around her waist. She’s happy to be the champion but as the crowd boos her, she looks like something is bothering her.
Julianna DiMaria: Don’t get me wrong! I’m happy to finally be defending this championship but honestly, waiting however many months to do so is a little bit bull if you know what I mean. I think Samara Starling and whoever else has power needs to be a little more… competent…
Julianna maintains her angry glare as she makes her way down the ramp.
Julianna DiMaria: The fact is, I had to jump through hoops to even win this title to begin with. Between the two titles that I have won in this company, I went through a tough time and… it irks the hell out of me that there even was that to begin with. It’s almost as if Samara and co. just liked to throw me in whatever situation that they saw fit because they wanted me to fail and were taking great delight in seeing me fail.
Samara doesn’t look too thrilled to hear this as Julianna continues down the ramp.
Julianna DiMaria: Hell, I bet she wanted me to face Melody so that she could just beat me again. I wouldn’t be surprised if the two of them were working together to keep me down on the ground. But hey, that backfired when I finally beat your ass, right, Melody? Huh? Who’s the fucking stepping stone now? Don’t think I’ve forgiven or forgotten how the social media interns were promoting the start of your little bounce back tour or whatever the hell it was when we had our first match together.
Julianna DiMaria: That first encounter is exactly what I meant when I said that I was going to take a backseat to nobody and whether you two in the ring, and that gross, incompetent idiot at ringside like it or not… that’s STILL going to be me. I’ve been fucked around with for too long and this Emerald City Championship represents all of the crap that I’ve had to deal with ever since I got here. For too long, I have felt like I have been held to a “second rate status” compared to the likes of the same old names that have been at the forefront since going back to even the BWF days: the Slaytons, the Shelleys, the Lemons… or whatever name Retired For The 60th Time Tiger is using these days…and so on and so forth…
Samara then decides to interrupt her at ringside when she’s trying to tell her to get in the ring.
Julianna DiMaria: Get out of my way.
Julianna gives her a soft shoulder that nudges Samara out of the way, though doesn’t knock her down to the mat. She’s jawing at Julianna who looks back at her.
Julianna DiMaria: I don’t give a shit about what you have to say. Just watch me make an example out of the two idiots in the ring while I retain my championship. You go back and… I don’t know… serve hot dogs in catering or something…
Julianna chucks the microphone in her direction and then enters the ring.
After making their entrances, the match kicks off with all three competitors eyeing each other cautiously. DiMaria, with her technical prowess, takes control early with precise strikes and submissions, targeting both Hamly and Slayton strategically. Hamly, however, proves her mettle with an explosive flurry of power moves, showcasing her strength advantage. Slayton, ever the opportunist, bides her time on the outside, waiting for the right moment to strike.
Riley Rouse: Melody showcasing some of her father’s mettle here by waiting for the perfect moment to get involved. Smart.
As the match progresses, alliances shift and strategies evolve. DiMaria attempts to isolate Hamly with her calculated offense, locking her in a Mercedes Bends (Bridging Fujiwara Armbar) that rattles the challenger. Before DiMaria can capitalize, Slayton re-enters the fray with a sudden burst of energy, breaking up the pin attempt and keeping herself in contention for the championship.
Liam Stewart: Julianna nearly stole that one with her armbar! If this was a singles match, we might’ve had an early end.
The pace quickens with each near fall and impactful move. Hamly unleashes a devastating sit-out powerbomb on DiMaria, nearly securing the victory as the champion kicks out at the last moment. Meanwhile, Slayton showcases her agility with a stunning springboard cutter, catching both DiMaria and Hamly off guard.
Riley Rouse: What a move! She turned that cutter into an almost crossbody-style move to collide into both women!
As the match nears its climax, DiMaria gains momentum with a series of rapid-fire strikes on Slayton, culminating in the DiMaria Code (Skull Crushing Finale). The arena erupts as DiMaria covers Slayton for the pin. The referee's hand slaps the mat: one... two…
Liam Stewart: The DiMaria Code! One… two…
Riley Rouse: Wait a second, what the hell is Sam Starling doing out here?!
Suddenly, LW Owner Samara Starling is at ringside, reaching under the bottom rope. She grabs Julianna DiMaria's leg and yanks her out of the ring, breaking the pin attempt in a shocking turn of events! Julianna DiMaria, incensed by the interference, confronts Samara at ringside, their heated exchange escalating into a heated argument.
Liam Stewart: Julianna is beside herself!
Riley Rouse: But wait, look at the ring!
Meanwhile, inside the ring, Jolee Hamly seizes the opportunity, sneaking up on the stunned Melody Slayton and covering her for the pin. One… two… three! Jolee Hamly scores the victory and becomes the new LW Emerald City Champion!
WINNER AND NEW LW EMERALD CITY CHAMPION: Jolee Hamly, via Pinfall
The arena explodes into a mixture of cheers and boos as Hamly's music plays, celebrating her unexpected triumph. Julianna DiMaria, furious and betrayed, chases Samara Starling up the ramp in a fit of rage, leaving Hamly to celebrate her championship win alone, standing tall in the center of the ring, clutching the LW Emerald City Championship belt, a symbol of her hard-earned victory.
Riley Rouse: I wouldn’t want to be Sam Starling right now.
Liam Stewart: I wouldn’t want to be Julianna DiMaria right now either! What an injustice!
Riley Rouse: Hopefully Julianna will be more careful about what she says - or who she bumps into - going forward.
Liam Stewart: I wouldn’t hold my breath.
Riley Rouse: Three months ago at Ides of March, Vanessa Page won a Four Way Match to become #1 Contender to the BWF World Championship. Tonight, after years spent as a member of both the BWF and Limitless rosters, Page looks to finally stake her spot in history and claim the BWF World Title that has eluded her thus far.
Liam Stewart: She only needs to defeat Jessi Ozborne to get there, and Riley, that is much easier said than done. I have it on good authority that Ozborne is the World’s Finest, Riley. Now we find out if Vanessa Page is on her level.
First, making her way to the ring, the arena darkens as "7/11" by Beyoncé reverberates through the speakers. Vanessa Page enters with an air of arrogance and confidence, her every step calculated and deliberate. Page carries herself like a spoiled heiress, exuding a blend of technical prowess and aerial finesse that has brought her to the brink of championship glory.
Riley Rouse: Vanessa Page is a former BWF Sovereign Champion. How fitting would it be for her to reach the top of the mountain on the same night that that title is retired?
Next, accompanied by the pulsating beats of "Kool-Aid" by Bring Me The Horizon, is Jessi Ozborne. Ozborne moves with a blend of grace and ferocity, embodying the essence of Joshi-style Puroresu that has made her a dominant force in the ring. She acknowledges the crowd with a focused expression, fully aware of the challenge ahead.
Liam Stewart: For all of her bravado and pride on social media, there’s no denying that Jessi Ozborne never underestimates an opponent. She’s going into this match the same way she goes into every match - ready to do whatever it takes to win.
The bell rings, and the match is underway. Ozborne and Page circle each other cautiously, studying their opponent's movements. Ozborne strikes first with a lightning-fast Bae-Blade (Ripcord Spinning Heel Kick), catching Page off guard. Page retaliates with a series of precise kicks and innovative aerial maneuvers, showcasing her technical skill.
Riley Rouse: And we’re off to the races as all decorum has immediately been defenestrated!
Liam Stewart: …what?
Riley Rouse: Shit’s going down HARD, Liam.
As the match progresses, Ozborne gains control with her signature moves, including the Parallax (Spinning GTS/Zoey Stark’s Z-360) and the Rude Awakening (Curb Stomp). Page, however, proves resilient, countering with her Simply Flawless (Cutter) and All the Money in the World (Backstabber) to keep Ozborne on the defensive. The audience is enraptured by the back-and-forth action, each near fall adding to the suspense.
Liam Stewart: Several near falls thus far as this match rolls on, and neither woman giving even a single inch!
The momentum shifts once more as Ozborne sets up for her finisher, the God’s Revolver (Miyu Yamashita’s Skull Kick). She connects with precision, sending Page crashing to the mat. Ozborne hooks the leg, confident of victory as the referee counts: one... two…
Riley Rouse: Is that it? Wait, what’s going on?
Suddenly, the arena is engulfed in darkness. The haunting melody of "King of the Fairies" by Waylander fills the air, accompanied by a Tron video depicting a red-haired woman performing a mystical ritual around a fairy circle.
Liam Stewart: Riley, is that…?
The camera zooms out to reveal Aislin Finn, Ozborne's longtime rival whom she cashed in her MITB briefcase on to win the title back at Love Bites in February. Finn speaks in Gaelic, her words echoing ominously through the arena before the Tron abruptly cuts out.
Riley Rouse: That was foreboding.
The lights return, and a disoriented Ozborne turns around into a devastating blow. WHAM! Vanessa Page delivers her Fabulously Flawless (Claymore Kick) with pinpoint accuracy. The impact reverberates through the arena as Ozborne crumples to the mat. Page wastes no time, capitalizing on the moment as she hooks the leg for the cover. The referee counts urgently: one... two... three!
WINNER AND NEW BWF WORLD CHAMPION: Vanessa Page, via Pinfall
The arena erupts into a mix of shock and scattered boos as Vanessa Page emerges victorious, crowned as the new BWF World Champion. She smirks triumphantly, soaking in the moment with a self-satisfied expression, relishing in her newfound glory. Page collapses to her knees, clutching the championship belt tightly against her chest, overwhelmed with emotion and satisfaction at her monumental achievement. Confetti rains down from above, but the atmosphere remains divided, with a notable absence of widespread celebration.
Liam Stewart: Oh my god! That came out of nowhere! And now we have a new BWF World Champion… all thanks to Aislin Finn?
Jessi Ozborne, visibly crestfallen and stunned by the loss, watches from the ring apron as Page's celebration continues amidst a backdrop of scattered boos and disapproving murmurs from the audience. The disappointment is palpable among Ozborne's loyal fans, who had hoped for her continued reign as the dominant champion. Aislin's mysterious presence lingers in the back of Ozborne's mind, leaving unanswered questions and a sense of unfinished business that hangs heavy in the air.
Riley Rouse: I highly doubt this one is over, but unfortunately for Ozborne, this one ends with a new Champ. She may be the Queen of Limitless Wrestling, but tonight, Aislin Finn played Kingmaker.

The anticipation in the arena reaches a fever pitch as the stage is set for the LW World Championship Tournament Final. The crowd roars with excitement, knowing they are about to witness history in the making.
Riley Rouse: It’s main event time, Liam! Katie Shelley, the resilient high flyer, squares off against Schism, the enigmatic horror who has carved a path of destruction to reach this pivotal moment.
Liam Stewart: Three former LW World Champions entered this tournament, but none of them reached the finals. After the dust settles on this one, we’re going to have a brand-new, never before seen LW World Champion!
The opening chords of "Go Beyond!" by Danny Weissner blast through the arena, signaling the arrival of “Stutterfly” Katie Shelley. Dressed in her iconic gear and with a determined look in her eyes, Katie emerges onto the stage to a thunderous ovation from the crowd. She raises her arms, soaking in the adulation of her fans who have supported her journey throughout the tournament.
Riley Rouse: The fans have absolutely chosen their side in this one, Liam.
Liam Stewart: Well, yeah, their choices are basically popular fan favorite or IT. Now, if the crowd were full of Alexis Lemon clones… they might be going a different way.
As the cheers for Katie begin to die down, the atmosphere shifts to one of eerie anticipation as the haunting melody of Schism's entrance theme, “Circus for a Psycho” by Skillet, fills the arena. The lights flicker ominously, casting shadows across the ramp as Schism makes her chilling entrance. Dressed in her sinister clown attire, Schism moves with calculated precision, her presence sending a shiver down the spines of everyone in attendance.
Riley Rouse: The last time we were on the air, Schism was pinned for the first time in Limitless by Vanguard Champion Cara Carnage. Tonight, she’s one win away from becoming the new LW World Champion.
The referee signals for the bell, and the final match of the LW World Championship Tournament is officially underway. Katie and Schism circle each other in the center of the ring, both wrestlers fully aware of the stakes at hand. The tension is palpable as they lock up in a test of strength, each trying to gain the early advantage. Katie, a little bigger than Schism, takes control early on. She overpowers Schism with a series of devastating slams and throws, showcasing her technical prowess and raw power. Schism, however, counters with her deceptive agility and mat wrestling skills, keeping Katie on her toes with well-timed strikes and submissions.
Liam Stewart: This one is fairly even so far. If either of these women are worn out from competing in two other matches tonight, they’re doing a phenomenal job of hiding it!
The match quickly evolves into a back-and-forth battle of wills, with neither competitor willing to give an inch. Katie attempts to wear down Schism with her signature moves, including the Seismic Toss (Release Snap Dragon Suplex) and the Bleeding Rose (Sliced Bread #2; Gardevoir Family Move). Each time Katie seems to gain the upper hand, Schism retaliates with cunning counters and vicious strikes, refusing to be dominated.
Riley Rouse: I think Katie’s getting a little flustered. She can’t seem to make a dent against Schism! It’s like she can guess what Katie’s going to do next.
As the match progresses, the intensity reaches new heights. Katie unleashes a relentless assault, targeting Schism's midsection with powerful kicks and knee strikes. Schism responds with a series of quick, precise attacks, aiming to wear down Katie's defenses and exploit any openings.
Liam Stewart: It’s like Schism is a robot! Hey, someone make sure that T1ck3t isn’t under that mask! HA!
The crowd is on the edge of their seats, caught up in the electrifying action unfolding before them. Momentum swings back and forth, with near falls and close calls keeping everyone guessing. Katie goes for her finishing move, the Limit Break (RKO), looking to put an end to the match and secure the championship.
Riley Rouse: LIMIT BREAK! THE MOVE THAT FELLED BEATRIX DECKER! IS THIS IT?!
In a critical moment, Katie sets up for the Limit Break, preparing to deliver the decisive strike. With lightning speed, she executes the move, aiming to catch Schism off guard. However, Schism reacts with surprising agility, evading the full impact of the RKO. In the process, Katie's hands inadvertently catch hold of Schism's mask.
Liam Stewart: ………!!! RILEY!
Riley Rouse: …oh, I see it, Liam… I see it…
The arena falls silent as Katie, in the midst of her momentum, inadvertently pulls Schism's mask off. The mask slips away, revealing the face of Schism to the world - none other than Alison James, Katie's younger sister! Shock and disbelief wash over Katie's face as she stares at Alison, unable to comprehend the revelation unfolding before her.
Liam Stewart: Oh my god. The whole time?
Riley Rouse: I’M in shock… I can only imagine what Katie’s thinking right now!
Alison, now exposed and free from her Schism persona, seizes the moment without hesitation. With a cold, calculated expression, she locks eyes with Katie, a mix of determination and a lack of empathy in her gaze. Without a word, Alison steps forward and applies the Mandible Claw, locking Katie in a vice-like grip.
Liam Stewart: The Mandible Claw! Oh no!
Katie, still reeling from the emotional turmoil of the revelation, finds herself trapped in Alison's devastating submission hold. The pain shoots through her body as Alison applies pressure with ruthless efficiency. The crowd watches in stunned silence as Katie, their beloved hero, struggles against the excruciating pain.
Riley Rouse: Fight it, Shelley! FIGHT IT!
With every ounce of strength remaining, Katie fights to break free, clawing desperately against Alison's iron grip. But the damage has been done, both physically and emotionally. As Katie's resistance weakens, the referee checks on her condition, realizing that she is unable to continue.
Liam Stewart: Oh no…
In a heartbreaking moment, Katie's hand drops to the mat three times, signaling her submission. The bell rings, and the arena erupts into a mixture of shock and disbelief. Alison releases the Mandible Claw and stands tall, her emotions hidden beneath a facade of stoicism. She has achieved what she set out to do - to win the LW World Championship. Her very first World Title.
WINNER AND NEW LW WORLD CHAMPION: Alison “Schism” James, via Submission
“Circus for a Psycho” begins playing as Alison James, the woman beneath the mask of Schism, stands in the center of the ring with the LW World Championship held high above her head.
Riley Rouse: I… my god. Wow.
Liam Stewart: After over a decade anointed as the future of this business, Alison James has finally achieved her dream of becoming World Champion. But… at what cost, Riley?
Riley Rouse: I have no idea. I mean… how far down does this go? Did Katie and Alison’s older sister Sarah have any idea? You know, BWF’s new Director of Operations? What about Alison’s partner Destiny? Did ANYBODY know? We sure as hell had no idea.
As Alison exits the ring, carrying the title with one hand and her Schism mask with the other, her Justicar of Illium partner Destiny Figgins walks out onto the stage. Des says something inaudble to Alison, seemingly questioning what just happened, but James simply keeps walking, completely ignoring Figgins. The last shot we see before the show fades to black is the new LW World Champion, Alison James, walking back through the curtain without a second look to either her fallen sister or her partner.
