Superstar History: Born to a couple prominent in the Japanese independent scene, Saito Risa was bound to wrestle from the moment she took her first steps, which happened inside of a wrestling ring. Training from the moment she could hold her own balance under the tutelage of her mother and father, Saito Risa had her first professional match in Japan at the age of 13. So impressed by her ability at such a young age despite a losing effort, the independent promotion bestowed upon her the Tiger Mask, both as an honor and giving her the ability to hide her face, and age, to the media.
Fast forward to October, 2019. After a falling out with her father over her dream to bring lucharesu to a world wide stage, Super Tiger left home after gaining a contract with Divinity Unlimited from owner Mariah Francesca Cruz. Shortly after, she signed a wrestling contract with upstart promotion Women's Wrestling Revolution. She quickly befriended another talent of a similar stature in Arley Kirk, and the two of them founded one of the most popular tag teams in professional wrestling as Kawaii Trash Pandas GO! KTPG would climb the ranks of WWR quite rapidly before Kirk left the company. Super Tiger stayed, forming a new tag team with her new girlfriend Zoe Jane in Tiger Pride. In their second match together, the two captured the WWR World Tag Team Championships. Meanwhile, outside of WWR, Super Tiger and Arley Kirk continued KTPG's rapid rise to stardom, eventually beating Bloody Fairytale for their first tag team championship together, the NFW World Tag Team Championship. Dissension between the two would be their undoing, as they dropped the belts on their first title defense.
With Tiger Pride still holding the WWR World Tag Titles, the company closed, and it appeared that now Risa was left with no gold in a company where she was outsized no matter who she stepped into the ring with. The little luchadora didn't let this sway her determination, and she made a vow. She would become a World Heavyweight Champion to show that she could stand across the ring from anyone. In May of 2020, she lived up to that vow, becoming the ICW World Heavyweight Champion. She would go on to set the record for most title defenses in the company, as well as having the 3rd longest consecutive reign. It was also at this time the WWR reopened under new management, and both members of Tiger Pride returned, which meant they were still tag champions.
Having trained under a variety of superstars (Lash Donohue, Bobbi Jackson, F.M. Young), Tiger looks to take everything she's learned and continue to grow. Under the heavy training of FM Young, the Super Tiger's smile never falters, taking on each and every new challenge with a fierce determination. Nothing can keep her down, and she's showing no signs of slowing. She still looks to prove she can hold a World Title again, and won't let anyone come between her and her dream.
