Nick Webb: Welcome one and all to the new era of Blazenwing Wrestling Federation. Yes, I said Federation.
Rayne: The “F” is back!
Nick Webb: The dust has settled and we’re a few days removed from the BWF Draft and what a night it was. There were a lot of shocking picks that included Noëlle Charpentier going first overall to the Mayhem brand. The current Mystic Champion will join the likes of BWF World Champion Kurt Hullum, Billy Way, Ragnarok, Spyke Gein, and so many more great talents.
Rayne: What a show!
Nick Webb: And then you have Havok that’ll see superstars like EW Heavyweight Champion Ben Macbeth, their first overall pick, joined alongside Allen Chaney, Emily Corlen, Martin Karloff, Bailey Mayhew and that’s just the start.
Rayne: Sure, Havok looks great, but I can’t believe we get to call a show as stacked as Mayhem.
Nick Webb: Neither can… - Wait. We’re not calling Mayhem, we are calling Havok.
Rayne: No, look, I got my assignment earlier and it says I’m to be a member of the Mayhem brand.
Nick Webb: And mine says Havok.
Rayne: Shenanigans! Somebody call my lawyer! Someone messed something up. I can’t work with anyone else.
Nick Webb: That might be the nicest thing you’ve ever said, Rayne.
Rayne: Working with someone new means I’ll actually have to prepare… and work! And do things!
Nick Webb: *SIGH* Looks like things are about to get underway folks.
We’re kicking things off with Ursula Areano of the Mayhem brand taking on the upstart out of Mystic, now a member of Havok, Izumi Sato.
This highly anticipated dream match started off with a handshake; mutual respect between these two traveled competitors. As the first tie-up took place, chain wrestling ensued, showcasing the clash and contrast of styles - Ursula with her luchadora flair, Izumi with her martial arts inspired style. Close range, though, appeared to belong to Ursula, who quickly broke the chain and drove Izumi to the ground with a swinging neckbreaker, followed up by a short arm clothesline. Ursula tried to keep the momentum going by attempting a standing moonsault, but Izumi rolled out of the way in time, avoiding the impact.
Nick Webb: Both women are showing in the early goings of this match just how much they both want this win.
Rayne: I don't really know who to root for; they're both namby-pamby fan favorites!
Nick Webb: You could just be impartial and do your job.
Rayne: Oh god, could you imagine? How lame and boring would that be?
With Ursula stunned following the missed moonsault, Izumi got down to brass tacks, showing off her dirty boxing skills to the crowd in attendance, in addition to Ursula's face. With Ursula good and rattled, Izumi took her down to the mat with a fireman's carry, followed immediately with a standard leg submission. She wasn't able to get the hold fully cinched in, as Ursula was able to make it to the ropes, but Izumi still held on until 4, forcing the referee's break.
Nick Webb: Smart strategy by Izumi Sato. If you weaken your opponent's knees and legs, it effectively cuts off all of their high flying maneuvers, and makes it more difficult for them to get around in general.
Rayne: Leaving them a sitting duck. Plus, holding on until four was kiiiiiiiinda dirty, so GO IZUMI!
Nick Webb: *sighs*
With the hold broken, Izumi grabbed Ursula, dragged her back out into the middle of the ring and tried to apply another submission, but Ursula countered, getting back to her feet and hitting the Argentina Train. She, herself, began to play the submission game, also going for the legs, no doubt realizing that Izumi's moves rely a lot on power from the legs and hips. Izumi, however, was able to roll out of the potential hold... only to get rocked by a European uppercut for her trouble.
Nick Webb: Sato is stunned... and Ursula looks ready to end this match!
Rayne: Look out, Izumi! BOB AND WEAVE! BOB AND WEAVE!
Ursula tried to set Izumi up for the Tempest Turn... but Izumi's submissions from earlier caused Ursula to struggle to execute the maneuver, which gave Izumi the opportunity to wiggle free and, like lightning, hit Ursula with the BUSHIDO OUTTA NOWHERE! 1... 2... 3!
WINNER: Izumi Sato, via Pinfall
The crowd gave both women a standing ovation as Izumi helped Ursula to her feet and the two embraced, hugging tightly as a "THIS IS WRESTLING!" chant started amongst the Chicago crowd.
Nick Webb: Wow! What an opening to our Havok/Mayhem Supershow! Hell of a match between Havok's Izumi Sato and Mayhem's Ursula Areano!
Rayne: Yeah, alright, I'll give it up to both of these young women. Very nicely done. Hard act to follow for the rest of you slackers in the back! Ha ha.
Nick Webb: Indeed, this night is just getting started! Still to come, we've got three Championship matches, as the Sovereign, International and BWF World Titles will all be up for grabs in cross-brand contests. Will we see new Champions crowned? Don't go anywhere!
The match opens with both competitors in the ring. Akemi holds the international title high above her head and bounced up and a down before handing it off to the ref. Billy Way grins and licks his lips rubbing his chest before pointing to the title and hip thrusting while he ghosts a belt around his waist. Hayashi is neither rattled nor impressed by way's antics as she simply cocks her head to the side with a grin before nailing him square in the face with a lightning quick enziguri, she comes off the ropes following that up with a sliding D to Way, who was just sitting back up. She covers for a pin that was too quick as Way kicked out at one. Akemi backed up bouncing her feet, she bounced back to Billy and immediately hit a swinging neckbreaker. Way goes down again but it quick to roll to his feet and catch Hayashi with a forearm club to the head. The two trade shots back and forth, before Way gets the upper hand again with a big drop kick. The fans get behind Akemi, railing her to her feet with cheers, but Way shuts her down again with a spinebuster.
Billy goes for a cover and gets a two count off a dazed Akemi, who gets her shoulder up as Way hisses and licks his lips delight. He urges her to get up so that he can show her the true way of entertainment. Instead he's rocked with a knee strike as Hayashi is on her feet not quickly, but suddenly. She seems to switch styles pouncing on him with a side neck crank. Billy Way has the size advantage however and is able to power his way up and drive Akemi into the mat with a sidewalk slam. Way picks her up and sends her for the ride off the ropes setting up for the Billion Dollar kick, instead as he picks his leg up Hayashi slides underneath him. She pops up again, bouncing off the ropes for a tilt-a-whirl DDT to the back of Way's head. She instantly locks the downed Billy into an Anaconda Vice, Billy struggles and flails for the ropes. Akemi attempts to drags Way away from the ropes and actually manages to drag him back a few paces. Way eventually wins the power struggle and makes it to the ropes. The ref forces the break up at the five count, Hayashi goes bouncing away again only to get slammed into the mat by a huge sit out suplex slam. Billy tries to go for a pin but Alamo floats over him and sets up the anaconda vice locking Way back in.
It’s another struggle in which Way inches and claws forward, just to be tugged back away from the ropes, Billy groaning and gripping the mat in agony all the while. It's another struggle that Akemi Hayashi eventually loses as Way makes it back to the ropes and she is once again forced to break the hold. Billy Way is slower to get to his feet this time but he catches Hayashi when she lunges at him and sends her for the ride. She comes off the ropes and runs into Billy's big boot. The momentum shifts in his face as he starts picking up steam, hitting Akemi with a suplex. He drags her over to the ropes for an elevated neckbreaker, Billy then does his weird little shimmy before lining up and hitting the Jaw Dropper(Vertical suplex stunner.) Not content to go for the pin, he grins and gestures at the crowd and leans in to kiss Akemi on the head setting up for The Billy Way(Swinging Reverse STO.) Hayashi isn't one to be out weirded however and instead licks his nose and slips out of his hold. Billy stands in the middle of the ring grinning sickly but he doesn't move in time and gets nailed with the Grapey Marshmallow Fizz (Shining Heel Kick.) Hayashi goes for the cover and the crowd starts to cheer as she gets a two point give count. Way just managing to get his shoulder up in time. Hayashi rolls away and a seemingly enraged Billy gets up, catching her by surprise he hits the Billy Way and covers right after pulling off the mother of all surprise victories as Akemi Hayashi is unable to kick out in time.
WINNER AND NEW BWF INTERNATIONAL CHAMPION: Billy Way, via pinfall
Nick Webb: Havok and Mayhem may have split the first two matches but Mayhem is definitely feeling good with some bragging rights as Billy Way just captured the International Championship from Havok.
Separation Anxiety
The scene backstage opens on Kim Cranston surrounded by Ragnarok.
Kim Cranston: Ladies and Gentlemen, I have just been joined backstage by number one Havok pick Fenryr Wulfsson, and number five Mayhem pick, Eric Ingvar and Karli Frost. The first question that I’m sure all of the fans would like to know the answer to is…
Rune snatches the microphone from Kim’s hand.
Rune Sigidottir: Okay, Kim. Just stand there like the eye candy everyone knows you were hired to be and shut your face while I’m talking.
Kim Cranston: Hey! I would have you know…
Rune Sigidottir: Shut. Up. If you don’t I’m going to have these three satisfy your dental plan deductible. I suppose these two clowns think they’re terribly clever. These two commissioners, I mean. It’s taken me some time to arrange this group, the most dominating force in BWF, and now I have them split up. Do you think that's going to help any of these other wrestlers? It won't! Everyone, in both brands, better keep watching their backs, because this is our federation and we’re going to do whatever we want, and we don’t give a damn about the rules. Now, I believe Fenryr has some encouraging words for Mayhem's commissioner.
Rune hands the microphone over her shoulder to Fenryr.
Fenryr Wulfsson: First of all, second pick? Second pick?! There’s only one explanation, everyone in this company has lost their marbles! Now I realize that Gabe Shelley at least knew to pick me first. It appears that after being powerbombed through a table and having his brain cage shaken a bit his intelligence has advanced to the next level. So kudos there, I guess. But this Momo? Who knows what she’s thinking. I guess I have to do her a favor too, and she’s in luck as I’m feeling generous. After I get through with these other three tonight, I’m making it my personal mission to find her in a place with no witnesses. Maybe if I put Momo through a table too, she won’t snub me next time.
Ragnarok walks out of the frame, stealing Kim Cranston’s microphone. She looks to the camera, shrugs, and ducks just in time to avoid it as it sails back into the picture, slamming into the backdrop with a thud. She picks it up.
Kim Cranston: This…is…crazy. I…don’t even know what to make of what they said Or what it. means.
The scene fades to black.
Square One
A Taxi pulls up, stops, and the back door opens. The fans cheer when Casey Grey steps out, closes the door, and walks into the back of the arena. Even though she doesn't have a match, she's still dressed for the ring and looks ready to fight. She walks past equipment boxes and workers and takes a drink from her bottled water.
Will Irwin: Casey! Casey Grey!
She looks over her shoulder and stops walking as Will runs up to her.
Casey Grey: What's up?
Will Irwin: Just a moment of your time, please? For some questions? I'm Will Irwin, by the way. BWF reporter.
Will extends his arm and the two shake hands.
Casey Grey: Yeah, I know who you are. What's on your mind, Will.
Casey hops up to sit on a production box.
Will Irwin: Pretty basic stuff. Draft questions, things like that.
Casey Grey: Oh boy.
Will Irwin: First off, wasn't it exciting? How does it feel to be seventh overall for Havok?
Casey Grey: I don't know. You have to understand that when I joined EW I thought I would have to earn my stripes before I got here. I didn't want to get to BWF like this, I wanted to do it the right way. But what am I going to do now? I can't change anything about what happened, but I don't have to like it either. The whole thing just feels wrong, like ketchup on cabbage. I feel like, maybe, I don't belong. And because of that, I feel like I have to work twice as hard to prove that I'm half as good as I need to be just to be here in the first place.
Will Irwin: Yeah, but you didn't do too bad for yourself in EW, right? Two time Primetime Champion and...
Casey hops off of the production box
Casey Grey: Yeah? So what, Will. But you want to know something else? I bet there are a lot of people here that feel that I'm not good enough. That's fine and I'm used to it, but anyone making that mistake is going to end up in a world of hurt. Now, do you have any more questions? I hope not, because you talk too much.
Casey walks away, leaving a stunned Will behind.
The team of Ragnarok clearly were not in a good mood as they made their way to the ring. Rune stood next to the ring and gave some instruction as she held their BWF Tag Team Championships. The crowd came alive as Havok’s Freaks with Benefits came out to cheers. Williams and Frost were set to start off the match and they quickly locked up. Frost rolled Williams down with a headlock takedown and began to lay into her with hard right hands. They both climbed up to their feet and Frost looked to end things early with a small package but Williams kicked out at one. Williams rolled to her feet and walked right into a forearm to the face. Williams ducked a running clothesline from Frost and ran off the ropes. Williams hit a headscissors takedown and Frost and she rolled into her corner and tagged out to Ingvar. Ingvar climbed into the ring and caught Williams as she dove at him with a crossbody. Ingvar slammed her to the mat and then dropped an elbow across her chest. He looked for a second but Williams rolled away and reached out to tag in Taylor. Taylor climbed to the top quickly and hit a missile dropkick. Both competitors rolled to their feet and Taylor hit a running knee to the face. She rolled to her feet quickly and connected with the Stamp It Out (Superkick to opponent on knees[Avada Kedavra-WWE 2k15) and covered. She got a two and Frost was there to pull her off. Frost pulled Williams to her feet and connected with a DDT. Williams jumped into the ring and was taken down by Ingvar with a stiff clothesline. He pulled Williams up to her feet and Frost climbed to the top ropes and looked for the Hookup (Flying Neck Breaker) and connected. Taylor was back to her feet and she pushed Ingvar out of the ring and the referee tried to regain order. Ingvar grabbed a steel chair and the referee tossed out the match before he could enter the ring again.
MATCH RESULT: NO CONTEST
Ingvar climbed into the ring and leveled Taylor with a chair shot as the bell continued to ring. There was a pop as the EW Tag Champions Fantastico and Jew Blazer rushed to the ring in order to aid the Freaks. Jew Blazer jumped on the back of Ingvar and locked in a sleeper hold while Fantastico clotheslined Frost over the top ropes. Ingvar rushed backwards and slammed Jew Blazer into the corner. The Haters came through the crowd and attacked Fantastico before he could help his partner and security started to pull everyone apart.
Nick Webb: Things have fallen apart!
Three more rushed to the ring as everyone battled and it was pointed out it was the new team of Maya Blake, Addison Cross, and Ruby Wilson, otherwise known as the Hollywood Babes. Frost pushed Taylor towards Wilson and she hit her with the Rodeo Drive (Impaler DDT). Taylor staggered up and walked right into Cross who was there with The Sunset (Pedigree). Fantastico turned around after blasting Frost with a stiff kick and was hit with Blake’s Bye, Felicia (Cradle DDT). The Hollywood Babes pointed at Ragnarok who had made their way to the ramp, the rest of the superstars ringside all being escorted to the back by referees.
Spyke stands in the middle of the ring as Destiny enters and he's all fired up immediately going for a kick to the head, which Destiny catches and uses to lever him into an exploder suplex. Spyke rolls up to his feet and Destiny goes for a stiff right hand, that Spyke catches and uses to pull her into an implant DDT. Both Superstars are their feet again in short order, Spyke tries another kick that gets ducked and Maverick takes him down with a drop toe hold. Gein goes flopping across the ring, but gamely gets back to his feet in time to be taken down again by a flying shoulder block. Destiny pops up and comes off the top rope elbow drop that nails a still dazed Spyke in the chest. Maverick pulls Gein up, whips him into the ropes, but Spyke comes off the ropes and nails her with a double axe handle. Gein goes bouncing off the ropes again, with a spiny flare for a Dance Dance Execution (Breakdancing leg drop). Destiny lept up and went to the ropes again, spring off, Spyke goes for a big boot, instead Maverick grabs his legs and flips him into the ropes instead. Spyke goes flailing over the ropes this time, he catches himself and flips back up and over. Maverick is ready for him however and flips into his charge with a hurricanrana that flips Gein back over the opposite set of ropes.
Spyke flips himself back over the ropes and hits a leaping Destiny with a big kick. He then hefted her up for a tiger suplex into a pin. Maverick managed to kick out at two and rolls Spyke into a small package that gets a one count. Both of them are back on their feet, grinning widely at each other. They circle each other slowly and Gein gets a couple of stiff kicks in and takes Maverick back to the mat with a lariat after whipping Destiny into the ropes. Gein is still all fired up and treats Maverick to a flurry of kicks that back her into the ropes, only to taken down with a big spinebuster when she rebounds. Destiny however rolls him over with the momentum and delivers some mounted punches. She pulls Gein to his feet and whips him into the ropes once more, taking him down with a Loco-Go-Round (Torpedo DDT). She covers and gets a two as Spyke gets back to his feet, hoping from to foot and looking tired. Destiny goes climbing up the turnbuckle looking for a coast to coast drop kick, but gets blasted with Fitzsimmons Pride (Muay Thai jumping knee strike to the face) off the ropes instead. Gein immediately covers, for a two count. Spyke hops to his feet and gets caught in another Loco-Go-Round. Destiny, incredibly fired up now, jumps up and down getting cheers from the audience as she climbs up to the top rope and lands a big Fiery Illusion (Swandive Elbowdrop) on a still recovering Spyke Gein, hooking the leg this time and picking up the win on the three count!
WINNER AND NEW BWF SOVEREIGN CHAMPION: Destiny Maverick, via pinfall
Nick Webb: Destiny Maverick just became Gabe Shelley’s favorite person. She’s captured the Sovereign Championship for the Havok brand.
Rayne: One of the most prestigious championships in the BWF is being held by a Maverick? What is this?
Brianna Park was not a big fan of Noelle; that much became clear from the moment the bell rang, as she offered no breathing room for the starlet. Brianna seemed intent on wrapping any joint exposed in a submission hold, and throwing a heavy strike if Noelle didn’t comply. It seemed the Korean Queen was bound and determined to punish the Mystic Champion for perceivably stealing her spotlight at the draft, and so far, her methods were working, as her assault backed Noelle into the corner. Park went to clothesline Noelle hard... but the Mystic Champion rolled, avoiding the attack!
Nick Webb: Noelle Charpentier showcasing here why she became the only Champion in Mystic Wrestling's history. Brianna Park would be wise not to underestimate her.
Rayne: I'm sorry, the former BWF World Champion and Happenstance Queen shouldn't underestimate the backyard wrestler? Do you even HEAR yourself sometimes, Nick?
Noelle, sensing a shift in momentum, went after Brianna with a flurry of kicks to the midsection. Once it seemed Park was a little woozy from the barrage, Noelle sealed the combo with a Yakuza kick. Noelle covered, but Park powered out of the following pin after just one. A superkick halted Brianna before she could try to turn the tables; Noelle went for the pin once more, this time with a bridging german suplex, but again, Park broke out, this time after two.
Rayne: See? Brianna has this match WELL in hand. She's simply lulling Noelle into a false sense of security, and then WHAM! Seoul Food.
Nick Webb: I can't argue against the effectiveness of that move; it's the one that won Park the World Championship, after all.
Noelle started to pick Park up, but Brianna took Charpentier down with a leg clip, bringing Noelle's momentum crashing to a complete halt. Sensing blood in the water, Brianna viciously focused on the leg, working it over with a sadistic grin on her face before forcing the Mystic Champion into the Cry for Kim Il.
Rayne: CRY FOR KIM IL! THIS ONE IS OVER!
The Chicago crowd came alive, cheering for the perceived underdog as Noelle struggled to reach for the ropes. Brianna tried to keep her towards the center of the ring, but the Mystic Champion pulled forward, getting herself just close enough to the ropes to grab the bottom one, forcing the break. Brianna stood up, taunted Noelle, and called for the end of the match.
Nick Webb: Noelle needs to be careful, or she's about to get takeout, courtesy of Brianna Park!
Noelle pulled herself up using the ropes and turned into the arms of a waiting Park, who tried to hit Seoul Food... but Noelle was able to dodge the attack and, as Brianna turned back around, caught her with the Welcome to Kick City instead! The crowd popped as Noelle covered Park... 1... 2... 3! This one is over!
WINNER: Noelle Charpentier, via Pinfall
Nick Webb: What a showing from the #1 draft pick to Mayhem! There may just be a method to Commissioner Momo's madness!
Rayne: WHAT!? Are you kidding me!? Where's Jill Stein? I DEMAND A RECOUNT!
Indeed, Noelle claimed the victory, but her celebration was cut short when Park, who had recovered during Noelle's celebration, nailed her with the Seoul Food. The crowd booed loudly as Park glanced down at her fallen opponent. She seemingly contemplated taking Noelle's Mystic Championship, but decided against it as she rolled out of the ring and walked up the ramp, smirking all the way.
Nick Webb: Noelle Charpentier got the win here tonight, but Brianna Park is the one standing tall.
Rayne: As I always knew she would be! HA!
The New Parable
Cut to the arena and the audience is waiting with intense anticipation. "20th Century Boy" by T.Rex cues up and the crowd is slightly confused by the unfamiliar music until "TOMORROW MAN" appears on the BlazenTron in giant letters.
The final Empire Wrestling Heavyweight Champion Ben Macbeth walks out onto the stage. The audience pops big as he walks down the ramp, holding the title over his shoulder. Macbeth reaches the bottom of the ramp and enters the ring.
Macbeth takes hold of a microphone and the crowd hushes.
Ben Macbeth: I suppose that answers the question on whether you people would know who I am or not. It seems that the majority of you do.
He pauses.
Ben Macbeth: But for those of you who do not know who I am, well, allow me to educate you. I am Ben Macbeth. I am The Tomorrow Man. And until they pry the championship from my cold dead hands, I am your Empire Wrestling Heavyweight Champion.
A big pop as Macbeth holds the championship in the air.
Ben Macbeth: I am the champion and I have been for 263 days. I have not been defeated the entire time I have been under contract. For nearly a year, no one has been able to claim victory over me. That is why I went from the developmental camp to the number three draft pick. I was drafted before former World Champions, I am the BWFs new cornerstone.
A beat.
Ben Macbeth: I am the new parable for all of BWF to follow, regardless of which brand they are designated to.
Macbeth slings the title back over his shoulder.
Ben Macbeth: Until someone in this company can prove me wrong, I am the Heavyweight Champion. I am the top of the heap. Whether the title says BWF or EW in front of it does not matter. I am the top competitor in BWF until someone can put me down. Any champion that wants to step forward, is very welcome to try.
The Tomorrow Man smirks and removes his sunglasses.
Ben Macbeth: And to those that do answer the call. To those that choose to test their mettle against the new parable of BWF. Well...deepest condolences.
With that, Macbeth leaves the ring and stands on the stage. His words hang in the air as he turns to duck behind the curtain but the lights go off. A red hue fills the arena as the fans cheer and the “Monster Messiah” Martin Karloff has appeared in the ring, looking up at Macbeth. He’s there for what felt like just moments before the lights went out once again and off, with Karloff disappearing from the ring as we cut away.
The arena was roaring as the four competitors stood in the ring, ready for the match. As soon as the bell sounded Fenryr struck Young quick and hard. He backed her into the corner and began to unload with a series of lefts and rights. Scott came to the help of Young but took a back elbow to the face from Fenryr and then pulled away by Hullum. Hullum hit Scott with a back drop into the middle of the ring. Fenryr continued his assault on Young as he shouted at her about taking what was his. Fenryr tossed Young over the top ropes and then turned to Hullum. The fans buzzed as the two circled each other but Scott came flying off the ropes and hit Hullum with a dropkick. She rolled to her feet and started to connect with forearms to the face. She jumped up looking for a DDT but was tossed across the ring. She charged and was taken down with a Samoan drop. Young had made herself back into the ring and she caught Fenryr with an enziguri. She went for a cover but just barely got one before Fenryr kicked out. Hullum and Young started to stomp on Fenryr, the two Mayhem competitors working together briefly, and then pulled him to his feet.
Hullum held Fenryr and Young connected with a dropkick. Young rolled back to her feet and Hullum quickly turned on her and hit a spinning back kick to the gut. Hullum grabbed Young and connected with the Crash Landing (Snapmare Driver). He rolled her into a cover and got two before Scott broke up the pinfall. Scott pulled Hullum up to his feet and send him into the corner. Fenryr was back up and was sent towards Hullum. He landed a vicious clothesline and then turned towards Scott. Scott charged and clocked Fenryr with a running forearm. Fenryr stumbled and fell onto the second ropes facing out. Scott placed Hullum beside Fenryr on the ropes. Young was back up and she and Scott quickly made a plan. They charged the two and hit a double Blue Light Special (619)! Young climbed to the top ropes and hit Hullum with the Midnight Overdrive (Shooting Star Senton) as Scott hit Fenryr with the Sonic Rainboom (Red Arrow [Corkscrew Shooting Star Press]) from the top. Scott and Young covered and looked up at each other and stood. They smiled and circled as the fans roared.
The two locked up and exchanged hard lefts and rights as each tried to get the advantage. Scott hit a hard headbutt and Young responded with a hard double axe handle that chopped Scott to the mat. Scott rolled back to her feet and speared Young into the corner. Scott went to spear Young again but ran into a big boot. Young lifted Scott for the Boom Pow (GTS) but Fenryr came running off the ropes and hit Young with a massive spear. Scott was dropped and rolled out of the ring. Fenryr lifted Young and hit the Hel Road (Double Underhook Powerbomb). Scott grabbed the foot of Fenryr and pulled him out of the ring and began to unload with a mounted assault. Hullum dove onto Young and hooked the legs and picked up a big out of nowhere win to retain.
WINNER AND STILL BWF WORLD CHAMPION: Kurt Hullum, via pinfall
Scott looked into the ring and was clearly confused as to where Hullum came from. She slid into the ring and Hullum rolled out and grabbed his championship with a smile. Scott took a knee to check on Young and was pulled to her feet by Fenryr and hit with a German suplex. Fenryr was livid as he pulled Scott back to her feet and delivered a second German suplex. Young pulled herself to her feet and tried to come to Scott’s aid but Fenryr clubbed her with a blow to the back as he pushed her down. He set her up and delivered the Gravedigger (Full Nelson Legsweep Faceplant). Fenryr walked around the ring as the fans booed him.
Nick Webb: This is enough. Someone get out here and stod this.
Rayne: Fenryr has had some pent up aggression and aggravation and it’s being aimed at Young and Scott.
Scott started to get to her feet and took a kick to the gut from Fenryr before he delivered a Hel Road. Fenryr looked around and rolled out of the ring and went right under the ring. He pulled out a table and slid it into the ring. He rolled in after it and quickly worked at setting it up. He stomped on Young a few times before picking her up and laid her on the table. He then went over to Scott and dropped a knee on her.
Nick Webb: Is he about to try and put Sabrina through the table through F.M.?
Fenryr pulled Scott up and put her into position for the Hel Road. The lights went out briefly and the fans went insane as former the AJ Adams logo appeared on the screen and “Lights Out” by P.O.D. kicked up and AJ Adams rushed to the ring.
Rayne: What’s he doing here!?
Adams slid into the ring with a chair in hand and tossed it at Fenryr. Fenryr caught it and released Scott which allowed Adams to step up and hit him with Lights Out (Codebreaker). Fenryr rolled out of the ring and kicked the steel steps. Adams checked on Young and helped her off the table before turning to Scott. The fans were cheering loudly as he stood over her.
Nick Webb: It’s no secret that things ended poorly between AJ and Sabrina but he just potentially saved her career.
Rayne: Knowing AJ, this is probably more of a statement in attacking Fenryr than it is helping Sabrina.
Adams reached down and helped Sabrina to her feet as trainers came down to check on Young and Scott. She looked surprised and Adams turned his attention back to Fenryr as he stood on the ramp. We ended the show with a staredown between the two.
