Nick Webb: Welcome to Happenstance 2016! We’re on the path to crown a new Happenstance Monarch and earlier tonight on Breakthrough we had the eight qualifying matches. Tonight, only one can end the night with the crown.
Rayne: Hopefully it ends better for the 2016 Monarch than it did for last year’s winner, Brianna Park!
Nick Webb: What a year it has been for the 2015 Queen though! Brianna was able to go on to become the BWF World Champion and has found herself in the World Title match here tonight.
Rayne: And tonight we’ll crown a unified International and Sovereign Champion!
Rayne: This is basically a rematch of last month’s Hearts on Fire match.
Nick Webb: Minus a ladder or the Chaos Theory Title being on the line.
Gein and Wall were locked up and Wall struck first with a hip toss. Gein popped up to his feet and locked right back up with Wall. Wall hit Gein with a jawbreaker and then followed it with a jumping side kick as he was staggered. Gein fell into the corner and hit a charging Wall with a boot to the face. Gein jumped to the second ropes and came off with a jumping bulldog on Wall. Wall and Gein climbed to their feet and Wall popped him in the mouth with an European uppercut. Wall hit the ropes with a springboard and dropped Gein with a DDT. He rolled to a seated position and was hit with Truth Hurts (Running Enziguri). Wall looked for a cover but only picked up two. Wall had Gein measured up and she looked for Kissy, Kissy (Shining Wizard) but Gein ducked and countered into a school boy pin attempt that got him two. They both stood and Gein hit the 360 No Scope (Jumping Corkscrew Roundhouse Kick). He covered and hooked both legs and picked up a victory to move on.
WINNER: Spyke Gein, via pinfall [9:14]
Gein jumped to his feet and couldn’t believe it.
Nick Webb: Spyke Gein will move onto the semi-finals of the Happenstance Tournament!
Fenryr and Chaney met in the middle of the ring and locked up. They struggled to gain the upperhand early and Chaney pushed Fenryr into the ropes and forced a break. They locked back up and Fenryr started to lift Chaney for a suplex but Chaney blocked it. Chaney tried pulling Fenryr in for the Set-Up (Double Arm DDT) but Fenryr powered him into the corner. Fenryr drove his shoulder into the gut of Chaney multiple times. Chaney started to fight Fenryr off and hit a bionic elbow that staggered Fenryr. Chaney pulled Fenryr into the center of the ring and hit a big belly to back suplex. Chaney got to his feet and hit the ropes before connecting with a running senton. Chaney pulled Fenryr to his feet and hit another bionic elbow before sending Fenryr into the ropes. Fenryr charged back and hit a spear that rocked Chaney to the mat. Fenryr lifted him up to his feet and delivered a big German suplex. Chaney staggered to his feet and walked right into a Samoan drop. Fenryr looked for a cover but barely got two as Chaney kicked out. Both got to their feet and Fenryr looked for the Gravedigger (Full Nelson Legsweep Faceplant) but Chaney battled out. Chaney drove his knee into the gut of Fenryr and powered him to the mat with a gut wrench powerbomb. Chaney crawled into a cover and picked up two.
Nick Webb: These two powerhouses are wanting to move on badly tonight. I’m sure Allen would love to meet Spyke in the next round.
Rayne: And you know Fenryr has winning on his mind after being screwed over at the Gauntlet Run.
Both men climbed to their feet and Chaney clotheslined Fenryr over the top and went along with him. Both men were on the floor on the outside and began to battle with lefts and rights as the referee counted. Chaney was sent hard into the barricade back first with a toss by Fenryr. Fenryr rolled Chaney into the ring and followed, covered, and picked up two. Chaney climbed to his feet and was pulled into position for Hel Road (Double Underhook Powerbomb) but backdropped Fenryr. Fenryr climbed to his feet and was hit with the Set-Up by Chaney. Chaney started to pull Fenryr up for the Punchline (Package Piledriver) but Fenryr countered with a spinebuster. Chaney stumbled to his feet and was hit with Hel Road. Fenryr covered and picked up the victory.
WINNER: Fenryr Wulfsson, via pinfall [11:35]
Rayne: A big win for Fenryr!
Nick Webb: He’ll move on to face Spyke Gein later on tonight.

Justi-Car Crash
Destiny paces outside of the locker room. Her typical energetic pre-match excitement seems to be replaced by something else. Something rife with insecurity. Maybe the high pressure of a singles tournament is getting to her. Maybe it is a myriad of other things. Upon the opening of the door, she turns to see Alison James exiting.
Destiny Figgins: Listen. Ali, I know we talked about this already. But I think our last few matches made it all too clear.
Alison, of course, is quick to shoot down what Destiny was going to say, rolling her eyes as she does so. Clearly, this isn't the first she's heard of this topic from Destiny.
Alison James: And I told YOU, every person or team hits a slump at some point. We'll come back from it. We always do.
Destiny continues on, seemingly ignoring Alison's comment.
Destiny Figgins: You’re the clear standout in the team. And I think it’s about time you get to do something without draggin’ me along. It’s about time we put the Justicars on the shelf. Sorry, Ali. I just hate being a burden.
Before Alison has a chance to counter, Destiny walks off frame.
Nick Webb: Is that... did the Justicars of Illium just call it quits?
Rayne: One half of them did, at any rate. And in a two person tandem, that's all you need! HA!
Dagger opened up with hard kicks to Mathews that caught him off guard. He was backed into one of the corners and was hit with a couple more kicks. He grabbed Dagger and spun her into the corner and unloaded with a series of hard elbows. He sent her into the ropes and took her to the mat with a powerslam. Dagger staggered to her feet and walked right into a double underhook backbreaker. Mathews rolled Dagger over and looked for a pin but just got two. Dagger climbed up to her feet and hit him with a back elbow to the face as he approached her. She sent him into the corner and charged, connecting with a jumping knee to the face in the corner. Dagger pulled Mathews out of the corner with a running bulldog. She quickly pulled him up and looked for the Beyond the Wall of Sleep (Asai DDT) but Mathews fought out. He spun her around and lifted her up to his shoulder and drove her to the mat with Heaven’s Whisper (Wasteland).
Nick Webb: That could be it for Dagger!
Mathews dropped onto Dagger for the cover but she was able to kick out just in time. Dagger staggered up to her feet and had to duck the Tower of Power (Clothesline from Hell). Mathews turned back to Dagger and was hit with a running dropkick. Both were to their feet and Dagger connected with a DDT. She pulled Mathews into a cover but he kicked out at two. Mathews used the ropes to aid him in standing. Dagger charged and was lifted over the top ropes and to the apron. Mathews turned back to Dagger and she kicked him in the head. She grabbed him and flipped back into the ring with the Beyond the Wall of Sleep! She covered and picked up a victory!
WINNER: Dagger, via pinfall [11:53]
Nick Webb: Dagger has moved on!
Rayne: She’ll meet the winner of the next match in the final semi-final match.
Figgins and Blazenwing share a few words as the former Trios Champions give each other a pat on the arm. The two lock up and Blazenwing quickly takes her down with a side headlock takedown. Figgins is able to slip free and jumped to her feet. She caught Blazenwing with a jumping clothesline as he stood. Blazenwing rolled to his feet and grabbed Figgins and delivered a butterfly suplex. Blazenwing pulled Figgins up and set her in position for a belly to back suplex but she flipped over and behind him. He reached back and caught her in the jaw with a back elbow smash. Figgins was staggered and then hit with a running calf kick. Blazenwing pulled Figgins up and was able to connect with a capture suplex. Figgins was disoriented and started to get to her feet slowly. Blazenwing looked for the Full Effect (Superkick) and Figgins ducked under the kick. She charged at Blazenwing and took him to the mat with a body scissors into a victory roll for a shocking win!
WINNER: Destiny Figgins, via pinfall [7:22]
Figgins popped up and fell into the ropes as Blazenwing couldn’t believe the count. He looked around the ring and bent over to take a few breaths. Figgins came over and gave him a pat on the back and went to leave but was grabbed on her arm by Blazenwing. He nodded and offered a handshake and raised her hand in victory as the fans cheered. Blazenwing leveled Figgins with a clothesline and the cheers quickly turned to boos. Figgins got back to her feet and was dropped with the Full Effect. The referee shouted at Blazenwing as he went over to the corner.
Rayne: I think Jay has snapped!
Nick Webb: He’s going to the top rope! That’s enough, Jay!
Blazenwing came flying off the top ropes and hit Figgins with the Flight of the Phoenix (Top Rope Double Stomp) right on the knee of Figgins. She yelped in pain as the referee checked on her and Blazenwing left the ring.
Nick Webb: There’s been no love loss between these two leading up to tonight’s match.
The camera opens on F.M. Young stepping into the ring after escorting EW's Azurine Vebbins to the commentary table. Da Bomb steps toe to toe with 'The One Woman Army,' the size difference between the two, in F.M.'s favor clearly visible. Both women hold their respective title belts up and hand them off. Immediately after the bell FM goes for a clothesline that Da Bomb ducks, grabbing the back of FM's neck and hitting a jumping bulldog. Young hopped to her feet, only to be brought back down with a drop toe hold from the Da Bomb. Young rolled back to her feet charging Da Bomb, running right into another drop toe hold. Back on her again FM can be seen shouting 'Stop playing around!' at a grinning Da Bomb. Da Bomb goes for a clothesline this time, but is instead hit with a rattling spine buster as Young catches her under the arms. Da Bomb seems surprised and pained, pulling herself to herself while rubbing the back of her neck. She makes a gesture, putting her arms up and Young seems to oblige the invitation for a lock up. Da Bomb quickly turns the lock up into a side headlock, which she transitions into a hammerlock when Young straightened to power out. Da Bomb works Young's previously injured arm, leading her around the ring with the hold.
Young yells in pain, sinking to her knees but refuses to give up when asked by the ref. Instead she reaches up and pulls Da Bomb into a surprise snap mare, lunging forward to apply a headlock of her own. Da Bomb seems to fade right away, laying flat and still. FM lets up the pressure enough for the ref to check Da Bomb. Da Bomb takes the momentary lapse as an opportunity to pull of a float over, getting up and over Young's back, setting FM up in another hammerlock, back to working the injured wrist. Young managed to shrug Da Bomb off just enough to struggle to her feet, but Da Bomb quickly re-establishes the hold. Young stretches up, looking to standing flip over Da Bomb, who instead managed to get her feet under her and snap off a quick pump handle slam. Young rolled to her feet, getting some distance she grinned at Da Bomb being heard saying 'That's more like it!' Da Bomb charged, looking for a bulldog, but was caught with a wheelbarrow driver. Young wastes no time capitalizing on a stunned Bomb, lifting her again. Young takes a page out of her sister books, carting Da Bomb easily around the ring, before driving her to the mat with a sidewalk slam and getting a two count. Young lifts Da Bomb onto her shoulders looking for the Boom Pow (GTS) Da Bomb begins flailing, nailing Young in the head with several sharp elbows until she’s dropped.
Rayne: Real smart move by Da Bomb there. That could’ve been the end right there.
Da Bomb scuttles away, she gets to her feet and gets caught by a second rope bulldog from Young. Da Bomb shakes her head, catching FM with yet another drop toe hold as Young charges. Da Bomb scrambles over, grabbing Young’s injured arm, she’s going for another submission, but Young gets her legs up, pulling Da Bomb down and going for the Dead End (Gogoplata). Da Bomb leans into the hold, reaching out and landing hard shots to FM’s head. Young struggles, but gives up the hold, lowering her legs, only to have Da Bomb yank her injured arm, leaning back. Da Bomb gets FM’s legs tangles in her own, stretching for a modified mexican surfboard. Young screams and thrashes, flailing her free arm against the mat. Once again she refuses to give in, instead getting her free arm under her and getting enough leverage to force her body over on it’s side. Da Bomb starts to tip, tries visibly to compensate, fails and lands flopped out on her side. Da Bomb again moves away as FM gets up, shaking her arm, violently slapping her wrist against the ring rope to get some feeling back. Da Bomb wastes little time in grabbing that arm again, managing to hook into a standing kimura lock. FM takes a few steps, but fades quickly yelping in agony. Just as the ref lifts her other arm, she stands straight up, using her height and strength to ram Da Bomb into the ring post until Da Bomb let’s go. FM retaliates, snapping off an Enzuigiri, then lifting Da Bomb up for a powerslam. She shakes her wrist out again as Da Bomb rolls around in pain. Da Bomb is hefted onto FM’s shoulders, after a short struggle and finally nailed with a Boom Pow (GTS).
Nick Webb: She hit it! FM could have this thing!
Young moves to ascend to the top rope, favoring the injured hand and finally pulling herself up after the injured hand’s grip slips. As Young prepares for the Midnight Overdrive (Shooting Star Senton) but Da Bomb runs up, shoving FM hard. Young grip on the turnbuckle slips, reaching out in a flailing panic she grabs Da Bombs arm. Da Bomb is completely caught off guard and goes caterwauling over the top rope head first slamming into the ring apron on the way down as she flops to the floor. FM goes pitching backwards, hitting the steel steps on her way down. She bounces off to the side of the ring and lays still. The Ref starts the ten count, it takes a couple of numbers but Young stirring. FM pulls herself up, struggling to get around the ring steps. Da Bomb stirs a tiny bit, she doesn’t seem to know where she is. Young pulls herself up to the ropes by the six count, practically climbing over Da Bomb. In a fit of instinct Da Bomb suddenly comes to life enough to grab onto FM’s torso with everything she’s got left and hang on, making it impossible for Young to enter ring on the ten count.
WINNER: Draw, via double countout [18:32]
Nick Webb: Neither could make it back to the ring.
Rayne: Wait, so the titles are still split?
FM wrenches herself out of Da Bomb’s grip, as realization sets in she seethes momentarily, raising her foot. Young seems to consider kicking the fallen Bomb momentarily, before putting her foot down, collecting her belt and storming over to Azurine. Da Bomb stands after a moment, looking dazed as she half clings to the apron to stay upright. The crowd meanwhile begins a rousing bullshit chant, booing. Da Bomb then yells incoherently at the timekeeper who brings her barely retained title over to her and then stumbles to the back with her head down and muttering curses to herself.
Paint the Throne
Dagger was focused. How focused? For the first time in the longest, she hasn’t appeared hanging from some random object, at some random angle. If it wasn’t for the Final Fantasy villain look, one could almost say she’s completely toned down the weirdness. Almost. There was still the case of the multitude of marshmallow fluff jars. Her infamous sweet tooth also seemed to be held at bay.
Dagger: Just you wait, we will be triumphant. Then, and only then, shall your succulent innards paint my throne.
Nevermind. The statement about toned down weirdness has been redacted. Ten seconds, Dagger. You almost made it. Of course, in a case of astounding timing, Sabrina Scott happened to appear. She paused while listening to Dagger throw menace toward the jars of sweets.
Sabrina Scott: Um... should I leave you and the... uh... innards... alone?
Dagger shot a glance like deer caught in the headlights. The oddling made an effort to snap her face into something a little more stoic and brooding.
Dagger: We... were trying to hype ourselves. We did not know you were here... we’ve been in this tournament too many times to not take home the throne.
Of course, the rapid fire excuses did not help her retain the image she tried to project. Sabrina nodded, looking to the title over her shoulder. Of course, the implications of Dagger going all the way, and Sabrina holding the biggest prize were all too plain; were both victorious tonight, it may prove the ultimate test to their currently mended friendship.
Sabrina Scott: Hey, so... I just wanted to say that I hope you win the tournament tonight. I'd be honored to defend this title against you at Danger Zone. I mean, if I beat Brianna tonight. Which I totes will. I hope. I mean, I'm gonna try anyway.
Sabrina clears her throat and blushes.
Sabrina Scott: Sorry, first title defense. I'm rambling. Where was I? Right. Me and you. I mean, we never really did face each other again after... well, you know. That whole thing last year.
Dagger: Well, if you have any of the sour grapes remaining, it would be a time for you to crush them. But, we will leave the chairs alone this time. We took things out on you that you had nothing to do with. We... like to think we matured.
Dagger attempted to cast a reassuring smile. Of course, when you look like Queen Amidala’s evil twin, reassuring isn’t a look that was easy to pull off.
Sabrina Scott: No, yeah, of course. If... or when... we fight, it's going to be as friendly rivals. Friends. Sabrina versus Akemi, one more time!
The smile fell from Dagger’s face, replaced with a hesitant and insecure look.
Dagger: We... don’t know if she has recovered, if she is ready yet... we shall see.
Sabrina Scott: Yes, right. Well, whenever "Akemi" is ready to come back, I'll be right here waiting for her.
While the girls talk about future plans, a thunderous yawn billows throughout the room. It’s followed by the sound of high heels clacking against tiled floor. Jacob Figgins stumbled into view, clad in a ravishing blue evening gown. He rubbed his eyes, as if he just awoke from a long nap.
Jacob Figgins: Where the fuck am I?
It didn’t take too long to notice the two women staring at him, probably wondering where the hell he came from and how long he’d been there. He paid no mind and simply raised his hand up to his forehead and tipped an imaginary hat.
Jacob Figgins: Dags. Bubble chick.
He says in greeting and departure while stumbling out of the area; probably off to some unknown quest, and he wasn’t even drunk yet. The crowd laughs as the scene fades back to ringside.
Fenryr quickly overpowered Gein into the corner and started to connect with hard knees to the midsection. Fenryr tossed Gein across the ring with a big hip toss and Gein got a lot of air before hitting the mat hard. Gein got to his feet and readied himself and connected with a couple of fast kicks to Fenryr. Gein hit him with a discus elbow to the face. Gein took Fenryr down to the mat with a swinging neckbreaker and popped back to his feet. He climbed to the top ropes and stood with his back towards the ring and waited for Fenryr to get up. Gein looked for the Murder Time, Fun Time (Phoenix Dragonrana) but Fenryr countered it into a powerbomb!
Nick Webb: What a reversal by Fenryr. He just used his strength to catch Spyke and drove him to the mat.
Gein was dazed as he started to stand and was leveled with a hard clothesline. Fenryr pulled Gein back to his feet and was flipped over with an overhead belly to belly suplex. Gein staggered up and was taken back down with a German suplex. Fenryr rolled Gein up into a cover and picked up a two count as Gein kicked out. Gein rolled under the ropes and to the floor to try and recover. Fenryr rolled after him and was hit with a forearm to the face. Gein jumped up to the barricade and hit Fenryr with the Fitzsimmons Pride (Jumping Muay Thai Knee Strike). Gein had to roll in and back out of the ring to restart the referee count. Gein pulled Fenryr up and was able to get him into the ring. Gein climbed up the stairs and up the turnbuckle. He looked for the X Buster (Shooting Star Press) but Fenryr got his knees up. Gein grabbed at his ribs as he was face down on the mat. Fenryr pulled him up to his feet and delivered Hel Road and covered for the win.
WINNER: Fenryr Wulfsson, via pinfall [11:54]
Nick Webb: Fenryr wins again! He’s going to the finals!
Rayne: I think Spyke went above and beyond what most thought he’d be able to do tonight. It may be time to take him a little more seriously.
Figgins was clearly not 100% going into the match as she limped to the ring. She insisted that she could compete as the bell sounded. Dagger went right after the knee of Figgins and tripped her up but Figgins was able to get to the ropes and break any hold. Figgins used the ropes to stand and leaned on them and hit a boot to the face to Dagger as she charged. Figgins looked for a small package on Dagger and Dagger kicked out at two. Both ladies climbed to their feet and Dagger hit a dropkick to the knee of Figgins. Figgins was in pain and the referee was ready to call for the bell but Figgins fought on. She hit an uppercut on Dagger and sent her into the ropes and hit a backdrop on the return. Figgins tried to lock in a triangle choke hold but Dagger was able to slip away and to her feet. Figgins was tripped back up and Dagger placed her into a leg lock and Figgins had to quickly scurry to the ropes.
Rayne: Dagger clearly going after the hurt knee of Destiny.
Figgins used the ropes to pull herself up and hit Dagger with a back elbow. Figgins pulled Dagger in and spiked her to the mat with a DDT. Figgins slowly got to her feet and hit a jumping senton. She looked for an Oklahoma roll for a pin and Dagger kicked out just after one. Dagger and Figgins got to their feet and Dagger landed a stiff kick to the knee and hit a sit out facebuster. Dagger grabbed Figgins and applied a cloverleaf and forced the submission.
WINNER: Dagger, via submission [9:04]
Nick Webb: Destiny was clearly at a disadvantage going into this match after the attack by Jay Blazenwing.
Rayne: I’m surprised she came to the ring at all.
Scott was ready for her first title defense as the fans welcomed her in a loud cheer. Park was ready for a fight as the match was being announced. Scott handed off her championship and was attacked by Park before the bell. Park stomped on the fallen Scott as the match started. Park was fired up and walked around the ring as the referee forced a break to allow Scott to stand. Scott was ready and the two women charged each other and tackled each other to the mat. They rolled and exchanged blows back and forth. Scott ended up on top and landed a few forearms to the face before pulling Park up to her feet. Park was sent into the ropes and ducked a clothesline and kept running the ropes. Park dropped Scott with a shoulder block and looked for a jumping elbow but Scott rolled out of the way. Scott stood and hit a forearm to Park and then a step up enziguri. Scott pulled Park back to her feet and looked for a suplex but Park blocked it. Park lifted Scott and hit a northern lights suplex. Both climbed back to their feet and Park hit a lariat on Scott that sent her staggering into the corner. Park charged and hit a corner splash on Scott. She then grabbed Scott and flipped her around on the turnbuckle into a tree of woe position. Park got some distance and charged before hitting the God Bless Korea (Dropkick to Tree of Woe Opponent). Park shouted at the crowd as they booed her. She pulled Scott into the center of the ring and covered that barely got two. Scott powered up to her feet with punches to the gut of Park and locked in a sleeper hold that turned into a sleeper suplex.
Nick Webb: Brianna started the match in control but Sabrina showing a lot of fight. She doesn’t want to let that championship go away just yet.
Park climbed back to her feet and was hit with a running forearm from Scott. Park climbed right back to her feet and was taken down by a shoulder block. Scott pulled Park up and Park battled with hard right hands. She was sent into the ropes and Park rebounded with a running front dropkick. She kipped back up to her feet as Scott started to stand. Park grabbed Scott and pushed her into the ropes. Park approached Scott and was lifted over the top ropes but landed on the apron. Scott turned and caught Park with a step up enziguri and Park fell to the floor. Park slowly got to her feet and looked up just as Scott came flying over the top ropes with a big splash and landed right on Park. The fans cheered as Scott slowly climbed to her feet and rolled into the ring. Park started to stir as the referee continued the count and was up to six. Park dove under the ropes at the count of nine to avoid being counted out.
Nick Webb: And Brianna not wanting to let this opportunity slip away.
Rayne: Brianna knows what it takes to be champion and you know she’s going to do everything she can to take it away from Sabrina here tonight.
Park climbed to her feet and exchanged more blows with Scott. Park grabbed one of the shots from Scott and hit the Seoul Food (Eat Defeat) out of nowhere. Both were down and the referee once again begun a count to ten. Park was the first to crawl over to Scott and covered but Scott kicked out at two.
Rayne: That may have been it had Brianna covered just a bit sooner.
Park slowly started to pull Scott to her feet but was pulled down with a drop toe hold that hung her on the middle ropes. Scott dug deep and hit the ropes and connected with the Blue Light Special (619). Scott waited for Park to stand and looked for the Seeing Stars (Springboarding Colliding Headbutt) but Park moved out of the way in time. Park hit the ropes and looked for the Mental Breakdown (Flying Dragon) but Scott used Park’s momentum to place her back on her feet. Park looked for a clothesline but Scott ducked and connected with the Pocketful of Sunshine (Codebreaker to back of opponent’s head). Scott pulled Park into a cover and thought she had the match won but Park got her foot on the ropes just before three. Scott looked around and was told it was just two. Park looked for a school boy roll up to shock Scott and Scott kicked out just before three.
Rayne: Two really close pinfalls!
Park sent Scott into the corner and Scott immediately started to climb the turnbuckles. Park climbed up after her and tried to hip toss her off but Scott blocked it. Scott hit a series of headbutts on Park and Park fell to the mat. Scott shook her head to clear it and dove, connecting with Sonic Rainboom (Red Arrow) and covered for three!
WINNER AND STILL BWF WORLD CHAMPION: Sabrina Scott, via pinfall [19:42]
Scott sat back as she was handed the BWF World Championship and she smiled. She held it up and started to stand to the cheers of the fans.
Nick Webb: Sabrina came in and just showed she isn’t a one trick pony and was able to retain the championship tonight.
Scott climbed out of the ring and to the apron and held the title out to her side before jumping down and embracing some fans at ringside.
Rayne: Now we find out who is going to Danger Zone to face Sabrina as the Happenstance Monarch.
Coming Soon to BWF Network
Monday, April 25 , 2016
Nick Webb: Folks, for only the third time in history, the Happenstance Tournament is closing out tonight's pay-per-view. Get ready - it's time to crown the 2016 Happenstance Monarch!
Dagger kept her distance from Fenryr as the bell sounded to start the match. He lunged at her but she ducked under him and landed a few quick blows before backing away. Fenryr started to approach and was hit with Dagger’s Thither Swirling (Dagger spins upon one foot feigning a low sweeping kick to the legs, the true attack is her secondary spin which is a high kick to the head). Fenryr was dazed and Dagger quickly rolled him up with a school boy pin but only got one. Fenryr popped to his feet and dropped Dagger with a hard clothesline. Fenryr slowly pulled Dagger to her feet and hit a big German suplex. Both were moving slowly in the ring and Fenryr got back to his feet.
Rayne: I think both Fenryr and Dagger are exhausted. This is their forth match each here tonight.
Nick Webb: And Fenryr has done battle with Kurt Hullum, Allen Chaney, and Spyke Gein. Not an easy path to tonight’s final. Dagger’s road may have been slightly easier but that isn’t saying much.
Fenryr sent Dagger into the ropes and looked for a tilt-a-whirl slam but Dagger countered and was able to flip to her feet. Dagger hit a series of headbutts on Fenryr and then dropped him with a DDT. Both climbed back to their feet and Dagger hit the Beyond the Wall of Sleep. Dagger covered and Fenryr kicked out at two. Dagger climbed to her feet and fell into the ropes. She approached Fenryr as he stood he hit her with a kick to the gut and tossed her into the corner. He went to charge for a corner clothesline but Dagger moved out of the way. Dagger hit a running bulldog on Fenryr. She started to pull him back to his feet but took a knee to the gut. She set her up for Hel Road but she countered into a headscissors takedown. He staggered back to his feet and Dagger looked for a second Beyond the Wall of Sleep but Fenryr showed off his power as he held her in the air. He tossed her up and twisted, catching her in a suplex position and delivered the Oathbreaker (Vertical Suplex Piledriver)! Fenryr covered and picked up the three count!
WINNER AND 2016 HAPPENSTANCE KING: Fenryr Wulfsson, via pinfall [13:52]
Nick Webb: Fenryr wins! Fenryr is the Happenstance King!
Fenryr crawled to his feet and looked around the ring. He stumbled out of the ring and started to make his way up the ramp as Dagger was being checked on. She met the rest of Ragnarok at the top of the ramp where he then walked over to the side of the stage and took the crown and sat on the throne.
Nick Webb: After losing the Gauntlet Run, Fenryr has now become the new Happenstance Monarch - and the first King since Matt Stone in 2012.
Rayne: Now, he’ll meet Sabrina Scott at Danger Zone... and I can't say I like her chances.
We get a final shot of Fenryr as we fade away to the BWF logo, then finally to black.
© Blazenwing Wrestling Federation 2016
