Episode 218 - February 8, 2016
Nick Webb: Hello one and all! We’re 3 weeks away from Hearts on Fire where Sabrina Scott will take on AJ Adams for the BWF World Championship! Tonight we’ll see a rematch of sorts from Broken Resolutions as Team Sabrina’s final two, Sabrina Scott and Dagger, will take on Team AJ’s final two, AJ Adams and Austin Scott.
Rayne: AJ is hoping for a different outcome this time.
Nick Webb: We also have an International Championship match scheduled as Da Bomb will defend her championship against Kaito Hirano. Kaito’s been on a bit of a skid lately and will look to overcome Da Bomb.
Rayne: Plus four competitors will compete to become number one contender to the Sovereign Championship.
Nick Webb: Emily Corlen, Martin Karloff, Luke Mathews, or Fenryr Wulfsson will walk out of that match with a Sovereign Title shot. That and more tonight!
F.M. Young & Elena Simonova Vs. Brianna Park & Jonathan Fhenix
The crowd was abuzz as Young and Park went at each other to get things underway. They exchanged hard blows and Young took Park down with a short-arm clothesline but pulled her right back up. Park hit a hard forearm to Young and Young returned the favor with a hard uppercut. Young was sent into the ropes by Park and Young returned with a flying forearm smash. Young pulled Park up and pulled her into the corner as she made a tag to Elena. Elena jumped into the ring and they hit a double suplex to Park. Park rolled to get knees and looked for a tag to Fhenix but she was grabbed by her foot by Elena. Park rolled over and kicked Elena in the face and used the opening to make a tag. Fhenix jumped into the ring and hit Elena with a hard kick to the gut. He jumped up for the Tragic Hero (RKO) but was pushed away by Elena. He got back up and turned into Elena’s double axe handle. He rolled to a knee and Elena finished off the Hammer and Sickle (Axe handle and buzzsaw kick). She covered but only got two. Elena made a tag to Young and they pulled Fhenix up. Elena sent Fhenix at Young and he hit her with a running dropkick. Fhenix jumped at Park and made a tag. Park climbed into the ring and attacked Young. Park connected with a crossbody and rolled into a pin but only got two. Young popped up to her feet and hit Park with a knee to the gut. She lifted Park up for the Boom Pow (GTS) but Park slipped behind Young. Young turned and was hit with a front dropkick by Park and Park kipped back up. Park made a tag to Fhenix and he started to stalk Young. Young got up and dove away from his running knee and tagged to Elena. Elena looked for a running dropkick and connected, sending Fhenix hard into the referee. The referee rolled to the outside of the ring as Park jumped into the ring. Park hit Elena with the Seoul Food (Eat Defeat). She staggered backwards and tagged in Young. Young jumped in and lifted Park up and hit the Boom Pow. Fhenix grabbed Young and hit her with the Stock Market Crash (Sky High). He started to stalk Young until Allen Chaney rushed to the ring and slid in behind Fhenix. Chaney had a chair in hand and Fhenix turned and was leveled with a chair shot. Chaney rolled out of the ring and tossed the referee back in as Young crawled over Fhenix and got the win.

Kaito Hirano Vs. Da Bomb (c)
Da Bomb handed off her championship as the bell sounded and turned to Hirano. Hirano and Da Bomb met in the middle of the ring and locked up. Hirano connected with a few quick kicks to Da Bomb and jumped up with a knee to the face. Da Bomb staggered into the corner and Hirano looked for a corner splash but Da Bomb dodged it. Da Bomb grabbed Hirano as he stumbled from the corner and took him down with a Russian Legsweep. Hirano rolled to his feet and right into a running bulldog. Da Bomb pulled Hirano up and looked for a neckbreaker but he spun around and hit a German suplex. They were both slow to get up and Hirano connected with a spear. He popped back to his feet and pulled Da Bomb back up. He connected with a spinning back kick and then jumped up and drove Da Bomb into the mat with a DDT. Hirano covered but just got a two count. Da Bomb climbed up to her feet and hit a charging Hirano with a back elbow to the face. He staggered and Da Bomb hit a running jumping knee to the face. Da Bomb grabbed Hirano and hit Bewm (Reverse Stunner) and Hirano fell into the ropes. Da Bomb approached him and was lifted over the top ropes to the floor below. Da Bomb hit the floor as Hirano staggered to a knee in the center of the ring. Da Bomb slowly climbed back into the ring and was hit with Hirano’s Yoi Yume O (Running Knee to Knelt Opponent). Hirano pulled Da Bomb up to her feet and onto his shoulders. He was set for the Oyasumi (Fireman’s Carry to Overhead Kick) but Da Bomb was able to roll Hirano into a small package and picked up a victory!

Nick Webb: Kaito was moments away from winning that match and Da Bomb was able to reverse and pulled off a shocking pin.
Hirano popped up and looked around as Da Bomb rolled out of the ring and grabbed her title, making her way up the ramp.
Karli Frost Vs. Erwin Kingston
Kingston handed off his Tag Team Title as each competitor came to the ring solo. Frost and Kingston locked up in the center of the ring and Kingston quickly hit Frost with a headbutt. Frost returned with a hard forearm to the face. Frost looked to end things early with a victory roll but Kingston kicked out just after one. They got to their feet and Kingston dropped her with a hard lariat. He pulled Frost into position for a suplex and lifted her up before driving her down to the middle of the ring. Kingston started to look for a Texas cloverleaf but Frost was able to kick her feet away and roll to her feet. Kingston charged and was taken down with an enziguri. Frost hurried and climbed the turnbuckles and dove, connecting with the TomKitty (Frog Splash into Double Elbow Drop). She covered and was able to get the three count victory.

BWF SOVEREIGN CHAMPIONSHIP #1 CONTENDERSHIP MATCH
Fenryr Wulfsson Vs. Luke Mathews Vs. Martin Karloff Vs. Emily Corlen
It was a hard hitting bout between the four competitors and early on it was clear that Fenryr and Corlen were going hard at each other. They exchanged hard lefts and rights that staggered each other before Corlen clotheslined Fenryr over the top rope. Phantom and Mathews exchanged a series of holds before Mathews locked in a sleeper hold. Phantom was able to get to a knee and drove his elbow into the gut of Mathews. Phantom stood and connected with Sine Oculus (Pele Kick). Phantom looked for a cover but was pulled out of the ring by Corlen who had left to battle with Fenryr. Fenryr came charging over and clotheslined both Phantom and Corlen down before entering the ring. Mathews got to his feet and was hit with the Maul (Double Axe Handle). Fenryr looked for the Hel Road (Double Underhook Powerbomb but Corlen hit him with the Skullcracker (Chick Kick). She pulled Fenryr to his feet and he tackled her to the mat with a hard spear and they rolled out of the ring as Phantom climbed to the top ropes. He looked for a crossbody but Mathews rolled out of the way. Phantom staggered to his feet and was grabbed by Mathews and he hit the Chokebuster (Chokeslam into Spinebuster) and covered for a win.

Allen Chaney Vs. Kurt Hullum
The match is announced as a Falls Count Anywhere match and it didn’t take long to spill to the outside of the ring as Chaney hit a cactus clothesline. Chaney tossed Hullum hard into the steel steps and cover but just got two. Hullum powered to his feet and the two started to battle back and forth again. The fight spilled into the backstage area where Hullum bounced Chaney’s head off come crates. Hullum looked to suplex Chaney onto the crates but Chaney fought out and spun around before suplexing Hullum onto the crates. Chaney pulled Hullum to the floor and looked for a cover but Hullum kicked out. Hullum got back up to his feet and speared Chaney into the far wall. Hullum backdropped Chaney onto the floor and covered but only got one. Hullum pulled Chaney up but Chaney hit a bionic elbow. Chaney hit a second bionic elbow and another clothesline. Chaney took a few steps back and a horn could be heard honking. Chaney turned and was hit by the car as he went up onto the hood and into the windshield. The car stopped and Chaney went rolling to the ground as Jonathan Fhenix got out of the car. Hullum was in shock for a few moments before covering Chaney for the win.

Trainers rushed to check on Chaney as he tried to push them away.
Sabrina Scott & Dagger Vs. AJ Adams & Austin Scott
Dagger and Austin start things off and it’s hard hitting from the start. Austin lifted Dagger up onto his shoulder and drove her back first into the corner. He spun her around and connected with the Booze Crusin’ (Oklahoma Slam). Austin pulled Dagger up and onto his shoulder as he was looking for the Ace in the Hole (Rikishi Driver) but was pulled off by Sabrina on the outside. Sabrina tagged herself in as Austin dropped Dagger. He spun around and was hit with Seeing Stars (Springboard Colliding Headbutt). Austin staggered around the ring before getting hit with a drop toe hold that hung him up on the second ropes. Adams tagged himself in and Scott hit Austin with the Blue Light Special (619). Adams grabbed Sabrina as he entered the ring and drove her to the mat with a belly to back suplex. Sabrina staggered up to her feet and took a kick to the side before being hit with Eat It (Fame Asser) by Adams. Adams sets Sabrina up for the Legacy Maker (Sister Abigail) but is hit with a missile dropkick from the top rope by Dagger. Adams gets to his feet and is hit by Dagger’s Beyond the Wall of Sleep (Asai DDT into Double Knee Backbreaker). Adams was down and the crowd buzzed as Kurt Hullum rushed to the ring with the briefcase in hand. He tried to cash in as he argued with the referee and Sabrina Scott came over and hit him with the Pocketful of Sunshine (Codebreaker to back of opponent’s head). She could be heard telling Hullum that it’s not his time, it’s hers. Adams made a tag to Austin and rolled out of the ring and grabbed his championship before jumping into the crowd to escape. Austin grabbed Sabrina and looked for a small package but Dagger rolled the small package so his shoulders were on the mat as Sabrina picked up the win.

Rayne: Looks like Sabrina wants to be the one to dethrone AJ.
AJ Adams is seen at an exit in the crowd as Sabrina jumped to the turnbuckle and pointed to him and called for the title around her waist. He held it up and just smirked as we faded away.
