Wreckless - October 27, 2015
We’re treated to a small opening video set to tonight’s theme that shows some of the build up to Wreckless. The first couple clips feature Karli Frost and the rest of Ragnarok in their heated rivalry with F.M. Young over the past few weeks. The scene switches to Fenryr Wulffson and Frost attacking Young’s sister Mighty Jo on EW Animosity. We get flashes on Brianna Park in her journey to her match against Kaito Hirano for the Sovereign Championship. Images of Chris Stevens fighting with Da Bomb are shown before we see flashes of a Hell in a Cell and David Slayton and Jonathan Fhenix. Fhenix and Slayton are shown fighting and each having a moment getting the upperhand and Slayton winning the match at Retribution. The final shots show Allen Chaney’s disqualification win at Retribution due to the interference by Sabrina Scott. We then see Chaney destroying the BWF World Championship at Adams watches on. The final shot shows the brand new BWF World Title hanging above the ring.
Nick Webb: Welcome to BWF Wreckless! We’re live in Boston, Mass! Tonight we see the return of the Hell in a Cell match as Dave Slayton and Jonathan Fhenix will look to win the second meeting in their heated rivalry. Dave come out on top last month at Retribution but Fhenix will look to get one back and “end” Dave.
Rayne: I think Dave is going to look to finally shut Fhenix up once and for all.
Nick Webb: And speaking of once and for all we have another meeting in the storied rivalry between Allen Chaney and AJ Adams. Their story came to a brand new hight as Allen destroyed the BWF World Title after Retribution. These two both want to end it once and for all.
Rayne: I think they’ve had one of the greatest rivalries that we’ve ever seen here in the BWF.
Nick Webb: Another rivalry coming to an end tonight appears to be our first match as we’re set to see Da Bomb and Chris Stevens compete.
Stevens had a lot to say to Da Bomb before the match started and began to land hard left hands before the bell even sounded. Da Bomb had to try and block a few of the shots but most of them landed. Da Bomb was taken down with a short-arm clothesline and then pulled right back to her feet. She grabbed Stevens to stop the assault and connected with a belly to belly suplex. She rolled into an armbar and Stevens had to squirm away before she could get it all. Stevens used the ropes to assist him in standing and hit a jumping shoulder block as he charged back at Da Bomb. Stevens pulled Da Bomb back to her feet and looked for a suplex but she reversed it into a small package for a two count. They rolled to their feet Stevens rolled into a school boy pin and grabbed the tights of Da Bomb but she was somehow able to kickout at two. Da Bomb jumped to her feet and pleaded with the ref that Stevens was cheating but Stevens dropped her with a backdrop. Da Bomb rolled to her feet and connected with a snapmare and dropped into a sleeper hold.
Nick Webb: Da Bomb really trying to keep things grounded and very tactical.
Stevens turned his body and started to get to his feet and was able to hit a backdrop. Stevens stalked Da Bomb as she started to stand and looked for the Take His Head Off (Lariat) but Da Bomb ducked it. Stevens turned right into Da Bomb running off the ropes and hitting a jumping knee strike. Da Bomb started to look for a Boston Crab but Stevens was able to reach the ropes just as she turned him. She was forced to break the hold and Sevens was able to get to his feet. She quickly grabbed him and flipped him over and locked in the armbar in the middle of the ring and tried to force him to submit. Stevens struggled but finally broke the hold by grabbing the ropes. Da Bomb pulled him to the center of the ring and this time locked in an anklelock and grapevined him. Stevens rolled Da Bomb and was able to once again break the hold. Da Bomb tried to pull him to the center again, fired up, and the referee held her back to allow Stevens time to get to his feet. He connected with a hard forearm as he stood and caused Da Bomb to stagger. He connected with a side slam and looked for a cover but only got two. They climbed to their feet and Da Bomb hit an arm drag. Stevens reached into his trunks and pulled out a pair of brass knuckles rolled to his feet and swung at Da Bomb. She ducked it and and the brass knuckles went flying across the ring and caused the referee to go after it. Da Bomb saw the weapon and just unloaded with a hard low blow kick to Stevens. She spun him and connected with the Bewm (Reverse Stunner)! She covered and picked up the win.
WINNER: Da Bomb, via pinfall [9:44]
Nick Webb: Big win for Da Bomb!
Rayne: Looks like she had had enough of Stevens and just gave him a kick he won’t forget. Maybe we’ll see her challenge for the Chaos Theory Championship sooner or later.
No More Heroes
The Jew Blazer is enjoying a cup of coffee backstage on his own. He is very much enjoying the cup of coffee but soon after that he is NOT enjoying the swift elbow to the head courtesy of Johnny Maverick. Johnny tosses the Semitic Sidekick into the wall hard and body rushes him with a series of brutal punches. He grabs him by the back of his singlet and drags him out past the curtain and starts bringing him to the ring. He tosses him into the ring, mounts him while he is on the ground and starts raining brutal punches down on the Blazer. He picks the blazer up and quickly drops him once more with his Tony Jaa flying knee. Johnny leaves the hero lying in the ring to go and grab a microphone.
Johnny Maverick: For those of you morons who aren't aware, I recently told Spykeman! on twitter that if he didn't come out on Wreckless and unmask to put an end to this ridiculous superhero nonsense then I would be forced to punish his sidekick. Well, here we are, and if Spykeman! doesn't show up soon I am going to break this little stick man in two.
Johnny looks down at the fallen hero.
Johnny Maverick: So let's hear it Josh. Yes I'm calling you Josh because it's your name because you're a regular person... I want to hear you beg Spykeman! to come out here and put an end to all of your suffering.
Johnny kneels down and puts the microphone to the hero's lips. For a moment all we hear is breathing.
Jew Blazer: If...if I wanted a real beating, I'd go hit on your ex-wife.
Johnny looks infuriated for a moment but quickly laughs it off. Johnny shoves the referee who is trying to talk some sense into him.
Johnny Maverick: Ring the bell! This rematch is happening now!
Afraid of what the unhinged Johnny Maverick will do if his request is denied. The referee calls for the bell and this match is officially underway. Johnny picks The Jew Blazer up on his shoulders to set up for the Welcome to DC.
Voice: Hold it!
Spykeman! arrives and is facing away from the ring. He removes his mask and it drops to his side.
Spykeman!: Put him down Johnny. If this is what you really want then you'll get it.
Johnny sets The Jew Blazer aside and looks at the ramp, eager with anticipation.
Spykeman!: I'm sorry to those of you who believe in me who I am letting down by doing this but... if it means saving my friend then I will reveal my secret identity to the world.
The Jew Blazer starts to stir just as Spykeman! turns around to reveal... Martin Karloff? Before Johnny can process that he has been tricked, he is quickly rolled up by The Jew Blazer! Small package in the middle of the ring! The Blazer grabbed a hold of Johnny's shorts! One… two… three!
WINNER: Jew Blazer, via pinfall [2:55]
The bell rings and Johnny takes a moment to process what just happened as The Blazer’s EW manager Oliver Fitzsimmons quickly runs to the ring, yanks the Blazer out of there, and helps him up the ramp to where Martin is waiting. Oliver gives Martin a fist bump before the three of them leave, celebrating.
Nick Webb: The Jew Blazer is 2-0 against former World Champion Johnny Maverick! This crowd is loving it! Johnny has...certainly seen better days.
Rayne: He also had a recent loss to Danny Hall. I feel like that needs mentioning.
Johnny is sitting in the center of the ring. We see him actually tear out some of his hair before he stands, shoves the referee, and storms off to the back.
Nick Webb: Up next is the Chaos Theory Championship and you won’t believe the stipulation for it. It’s a “3 Stages of Fun” match.
Rayne: What in the world?
Nick Webb: The first fall is a “pin the tail on the donkey” match, the second will be a lone round of “rock, paper, scissors”, and the third fall, if needed, will be a “capture the flag on a pole” match. I couldn’t make this stuff up if I tried.
Lewis and Hall stood in the ring and Hall couldn’t believe the match set for tonight. He argued with the referee but the referee just stared at him blankly. Lewis handed off the Chaos Theory Title as things were getting underway. In one corner was a poster of a donkey and each Lewis and Hall were given a tail to pin on him. Hall was blindfolded and spun around 10 times. He staggered a bit and slowly made his way to the corner. He reached out and pushed the pin into the poster and took off his blindfold. He seemed pleased with the placement as he was a few inches away from the perfect spot. It was Lewis’ turn as he was blindfolded and spun. He stumbled over to the corner and the fans roared as he placed the tail in the perfect spot! He took off his blindfold and pumped his fist.
WINNER: Ryan Lewis
The next “fall” was ready as they two men stood across from each other for the “rock, paper, scissors”. They counted agreed to go on “shoot”, counted to three and laid out their choices. Both paper. They went again. Both rock. Once more and Hall threw out a rock while Lewis threw out another paper! Hall threw his arms in the air in celebration.
WINNER: Danny Hall
Rayne: This is ridiculous.
The referee placed a lone flag on a hook on a pole attached to the turnbuckle. Both men were instructed to stand back in the opposite corner until the referee said go. On go both men took off after the flag. Hall was at the turnbuckle but Lewis pulled him away. They tried to get past each other in the rush. Hall grabbed Lewis from behind and looked for a German suplex but Lewis flipped behind him and landed on his feet. Hall slipped and fell to a knee and Lewis ran at him and ran off Hall’s back and jumped onto the turnbuckle. He reached up and grabbed the flag as Hall pulled him down.
WINNER AND STILL CHAOS THEORY CHAMPION: Ryan Lewis [7:33 Total]
Rayne: Ridiculous.
Nick Webb: And Lewis retains!
Hall turned to Lewis and Lewis rolled out of the ring to be given his title. Hall just looked on, upset, as Lewis left.
Desire for More
A voice, which is familiar to some, starts to speak.
"I've got the itch. I've been wrestling on and off for the past two years. It's time for me to go back to wrestling full time."
We see whoever this person is applying wrist tape.
"I've held a number of championships in my career, but I still want more..."
We see him pull up a knee pad, followed by tying up his boot.
"Last time I was in the ring, I was fighting to get my company back. Now, I plan on fighting for gold."
The man is now facing his back towards the camera, head down, in full ring gear. He turns to face the camera, and many people will recognize this man to be AXW's CEO, Luke Mathews.
"There's a reason why I selected BWF to be AXW's parent company. This place is filled with great competitors, and now, my name will be in that mix. And you're not gonna be waiting long to see me in action. Next week on BWF Havok, Luke Mathews steps inside a BWF ring for the first time ever."
Volbeat's "Still Counting" starts to play over the words "Luke Mathews Debuts on Havok Next Week!" which zoom in on the screen before fading back to ringside.
Nick Webb: That’s big news, Rayne!
Rayne: Can’t wait!
We were set for the next match as Linette posed with the International Championship as she was announced. Dagger was ready for the match as she had her eyes focused on the title. The bell sounded and things got underway. The two ladies locked up and Dagger immediately started to headbutt Linette. They both became a bit staggered and Dagger scoop slammed Linette to the mat. Dagger dropped to her knees and locked in an arm lock on Linette. Linette was able to flip and stand, pulling Dagger up and taking her down with an arm drag. Dagger rolled to her feet and right into a standing dropkick. Linette pulled Dagger to her feet and lifted her for a vertical suplex. Linette rolled into a cover but just got two. Dagger got to her feet and drove her forearm into Linette’s face and drove her to the mat after lifting her for a powerslam. Dagger lifted Linette to her feet and sent her into the corner. She charged and connected with the Hither Whirling. Linette staggered to the middle of the ring and Dagger grabbed her from behind and hit a reverse DDT. Dagger rolled into a cover but only got two.
Nick Webb: Dagger really taking it to Xaria.
Dagger mounted Linette and started to hit a series of headbutts. Dagger staggered away and fell into the corner. Linette started to stand and Dagger charged and looked for a hard forearm but Linette dodged it. Linette hit the ropes and came back with the Rain-BOOM! She covered and Dagger just kicked out. Linette tried to pull Dagger up but was speared into the corner. Dagger lifted Linette to the top rope and followed. Dagger started to set up for a superplex but Linette pushed her off. Dagger rolled to her feet and Linette came off the top rope and hit the Objection (Spiked Hurricanrana)! She covered Dagger with a hook of the leg and picked up the win.
WINNER AND STILL BWF INTERNATIONAL CHAMPION: Xaria Linette, via pinfall [10:51]
Linette was handed her championship as she held it high for her fans before we went to break.
Now Airing Only on the BWF Network
AXW Alternative #22!
The fans were excited to see the return of Emily Corlen as she was fired up and ready to compete. Omen IV and Corlen circled each other as the bell sounded and they eventually locked up. Omen jumped up and monkey flipped Corlen and Corlen rolled to her feet and smiled. Corlen and Omen locked back up and this time Corlen took him down with a double axe handle. Omen popped back up and Corlen grabbed him and drove him to the mat after a short-arm clothesline. Corlen pulled Omen back up and Omen sent Corlen into the ropes. Omen caught Corlen with a wheel kick to the face. Omen pulled Corlen up and lifted her into a side belly to belly slam. Omen hooked a leg and got a one count. Omen quickly pulled Corlen up got her into position and drove her into the mat with a sideslam. Corlen crawled away from Omen and to her feet. Omen charged and ran right into a big boot. Omen hit the man and rolled back to his feet and into a European uppercut from Corlen. Corlen grabbed Omen and drove him to the mat with Seventh Heaven (Two Handed Chokeslam). Corlen rolled Omen into a cover and got a two count.
Nick Webb: Great back and forth action here.
Corlen pulled Omen to his feet and Omen caught her with a elbow to the side of the head. He springboarded off the ropes and flipped behind Corlen and hit an Inverted DDT. Omen hooked Corlen’s legs and got a two count. Omen pulled Corlen up and then right back down with a scoop slam. He went to the corner and jumped up. Omen came off the top ropes looking for the El Mal Presagio (450 Backflip Corkscrew to Senton) but Corlen rolled out of the way. Omen staggered to his feet and Corlen grabbed him from behind. She lifted Omen and drove him down with the Catalyst (Glam Slam). Corlen covered Omen and Omen kicked out just before three.
Nick Webb: Omen kicked out of the Catalyst!
Omen started to crawl to his feet and Corlen looked for Boom, Headshot (Chick Kick) and Omen ducked it and hit a dropkick. Both were down and Omen’s partner Kristy Jackson made her way down the the ring. She pounded on the apron in support of Omen. Corlen got to her feet and leaned against the ropes. She looked for another Boom, Headshot but Jackson grabbed her foot. Corlen staggered and Omen was back up and hit a step up enziguri. He dove onto Corlen and got the three count.
WINNER: Omen IV, via pinfall [10:22]
Omen jumped to his feet and looked over, finally seeing Jackson. He looked around confused and rolled out of the ring.
Nick Webb: I don’t think Omen saw that Kristy grabbed Emily’s foot.
Rayne: It doesn’t look like it.
Keeping Things Even
The camera shifts to the backstage area where we’re quickly put inside of the Wyatts’ office where they’re talking to someone just out of view. We apparently join the conversation midway through.
Elise Wyatt: We totally agree with you, her actions were inexcusable. Part of the reason we’re in this situation is because of those actions last month. Who knows who would’ve walked out as BWF World Champion at Retribution.
Jackson Wyatt: That’s why, for the sake of tonight’s main event, Sabrina Scott is going to be banned from ringside.
The fans begin to boo as they expect to see Allen Chaney talking to the Wyatts. The camera pans over and we see AJ Adams in his wrestling trunks and a t-shirt.
AJ Adams: Perfect.
The fans are confused as AJ shakes the hands of Elise and Jackson before cutting to ringside.
Nick Webb: What in the world? AJ just made sure his girlfriend isn’t allowed ringside.
Rayne: That’s bad news for AJ. The only reason he left the champion last month was because of her.
Nick Webb: Well we’ll find out more later, I’m sure. It’s time for Trios action now though.
Rayne: Who do you think is crazy enough to stand beside Young and Spykeman?
Ragnarok made their way to the ring and awaited for Young and her team. Young came out with Spykeman flanked behind her. They only had to wait a few moments before the fans could see EW’s Alexander King appear from behind the curtain.
Rayne: Who is that?
Nick Webb: That’s Alexander King, from EW!
Young, Spykeman, and King rush the ring and slide under the ropes and come to blows with Ragnarok.
The referee is finally able to get things calmed down and Ingvar and Spykeman were starting things off for their teams. Ingvar hit Spykeman with a scoop powerslam and dropped down to apply a hammerlock. Spykeman was able to slip to his feet and walked into a sidewalk slam. Ingvar tagged out to Fenryr and Fenryr grabbed Spykeman. Fenryr lifted Spykeman up for a suplex but Spykeman turned mid air and landed behind Fenryr. Spykeman dropkicked Fenryr in the back and then made a tag to Young. Young and Fenryr came to blows and Fenryr powered her into the corner. He drove his knee into her gut multiple times and then lifted her onto his shoulder. He ran her across the ring and drove her back into the turnbuckle and then powerslammed her into the middle of the ring. Fenryr pulled Young up to her feet and tagged out to Frost. Frost jumped in and they suplexed her. Frost tried to cover Young but just got a one. Young powered to her feet and hit a clothesline. Frost rolled to her feet right into a leaping double axehandle. Frost once again rolled right back up and this time was lifted onto Young’s shulders. She was set up for the Boom Pow (GTS) but Frost rolled behind her. Young made a tag to Spykeman that Frost missed. Frost grabbed Young and started to set up for the Afterglow (Gory Neckbreaker) but Spykeman leaped off the top ropes and hit the Oh My Stars and Garters (Shooting Star Dropkick)!
Rayne: He really can fly!
Nick Webb: Spykeman turning the tide.
Spykeman crawled onto Frost but could only get a two count. Frost was able to get to her feet and made the tag to Fenryr. Fenryr got into the ring and caught Spykeman looking for a running crossbody. Fenryr flipped Spykeman up and lifted him above his head. Fenryr dropped Spykeman with the 9-9-9 (Gorilla Press Slam). Fenryr covered but only got a two count as Young pulled Fenryr off. Frost and Ingvar jumped into the ring and attacked Young. Spykeman and Young battled Ingvar and Frost. Young hit Frost with the Boom Pow and Spykeman clotheslined Ingvar over to top rope and went along with him. Fenryr hit a big boot onto Young that sent her into her corner and she tagged King. Fenryr set Young up for the Hel Road (Double Underhook Powerbowm) and King ran in and clotheslined Fenryr. Fenryr staggered and dropped King with a hard clothesline. King got to his feet and hit a running 540 back kick! Fenryr staggered and King tagged back to Young. Fenryr tagged to Ingvar and rolled to the outside. King hit Ingvar with the 540 back kick. Ingvar fell to the mat and Young got to the top ropes and leaped to hit the Midnight Overdrive (Shooting Star Senton). Young covered as Spykeman and King kept the rest of Ragnarok at bay and she got the three.
WINNERS AND NEW BWF TRIOS CHAMPIONS: F.M. Young, Spykeman! & Alexander King, via pinfall [11:10]
Young jumped to her feet and hugged King as they were handed the titles by Spykeman. The group celebrated as Fenryr pulled Ingvar out of the ring and watched on. Frost was livid on the outside and kicked the steel steps.
Nick Webb: New champions, Rayne!
Rayne: And Ragnarok is not happy.
Nick Webb: It’s about that time.
We see the cell start to lower and the fans are excited for the next match.
Fhenix wore a “Wild Card” Ace of Spades shirt to play mindgames with Slayton, supporting Slayton’s latest opponent in AXW. Slayton chuckled as the bell sounded and they circled each other. Fhenix hit Slayton with a hard right hand to start things off and they locked up. Fhenix tried to look for a gutwrench suplex but Slayton broke free. Slayton looked for a German suplex as he slid behind Fhenix. Fhenix threw a hard elbow backwards and then rolled behind Slayton and looked for a German suplex of his own but Slayton blocked it by leaning forward. Slayton spun around and dropped Fhenix with a clothesline. Slayton pulled Fhenix to his feet and lifted him with a Samoan drop. Slayton rolled into a cover but only got a one count. Fhenix got to his feet and hit Slayton with a hard uppercut. Fhenix followed it up with a snap suplex and jumped back to his feet. Fhenix pulled Slayton back up and sent him into the ropes. Slayton was hit by Fhenix’s Stock Market Crash (Sky High) and a cover by Fhenix for two. Fhenix jumped onto Slayton and started assault him with hard right hands before rolling out of the ring. He looked under the ring and tossed a chair into it. Fhenix grabbed the chair after getting into the ring and slammed it into the back of Slayton multiple times.
Nick Webb: Anything goes inside that cell!
Rayne: Fhenix is going to try and put Slayton out of commision.
After a few chair shots, Fhenix dropped into a cover but Slayton kicked out at two. Fhenix pulled Slayton to his feet and started to position him for a DDT on the chair. Slayton was able to reverse into a northern lights suplex. Both men climbed to their feet and Slayton hit a jumping DDT onto Fhenix and spiked him into the chair! Slayton crawled into the cover but Fhenix kicked out just before the three. Slayton couldn’t believe it and climbed to his feet. Fhenix was up shortly after and speared Slayton through the ropes and onto the floor below. Fhenix and Slayton both got up slowly and Slayton rammed Fhenix head first into the cell. Slayton lifted Fhenix onto his shoulder and looked to ram him again into the cell but Fhenix slid behind Slayton and pushed him into the cell. Fhenix rolled Slayton into the ring and followed after him. Fhenix crawled into the ring and pulled Slayton up into a double underhook position and hit a backbreaker. Fhenix looked for a cover but only got two. Slayton used the ropes to assist him getting to his feet and had to hit Fhenix with a forearm as he was charging. Slayton hit Fhenix with a tornado DDT and both men were down again. Slayton pulled himself up into the corner and had Fhenix in position for the Full Effect (Superkick). The ring apron started to move and someone rolled out with a chair in hand. Slayton connected with the Full Effect on Fhenix as the fans roared in cheers. He turned briefly and was hit by a chairshot!
Rayne: Who in the hell was that!?
Nick Webb: I couldn’t tell!
Fhenix was pulled on top of Slayton and the referee counted the three!
WINNER: Jonathan Fhenix, via pinfall [15:42]
The figured pulled their hoodie down and revealed AXW’s Duncan Aries as the fans are booing.
Nick Webb: That’s Duncan Aries from AXW! The man that Dave beat last week for their championship!
Aries looked down on Slayton as Fhenix slowly came to and started laughing. Aries and Fhenix shook hands as trainers came to check on Slayton.
Nick Webb: I don’t believe what I just saw.
Rayne: Fhenix just sent a message to Slayton with the help of Aries.
Nick Webb: What’s the message going to be in this next match? Kaito Hirano is set to defend against Brianna Park and Park has been on a downward spiral for months now. After losing the BWF World Championship she’s been a different person. She’s seen the fans react positively to Kaito Hirano and it’s like it’s sent her off the deep end.
Rayne: She says she’s the “real hero of Asia”.
Park shouted at Hirano before the match started and Hirano gave her a slight bow. Park slapped him hard and things got under way. Park chopped the chest of Hirano hard and then hit him with an uppercut. Hirano returned the favor with a hard kick to her left leg. He jumped up for a spinning heel kick but Park ducked it and grabbed him from behind. Park delivered a belly to back suplex and tried to float into a pin but he kicked out at one. Park pulled Hirano to his feet and locked in a side headlock. Hirano pushed Park off into the ropes and caught her with a backdrop on the return. Park rolled right to her feet and shouted at Hirano as she kicked him hard in the gut. She grabbed him by the head and started to connect with hard forearms to the face. Hirano staggered backwards before landed a front dropkick. She kipped up and walked around the ring as Hirano rolled over to his hands and knees. Park hit the ropes and came back with a dropkick to the face. She rolled him into another cover but Hirano kicked out at two. Park pulled Hirano up and delivered a vertical suplex. She made her way to the corner and jumped to the second ropes. Hirano climbed to his feet and turned right into Park launching and catching him with a hurricanrana. Hirano slid across the ring and to his feet but hit with another front dropkick that launched him into the corner. Park set him up into a tree of woe position and took a few steps backwards. She charged and looked for God Bless Korea (Dropkick) and connected. She pulled Hirano down and covered but Hirano got a foot on the ropes to break the pin.
Rayne: Brianna is really taking it to Kaito.
Nick Webb: This is a different Brianna than we’ve seen before.
Park looked at the referee and argued as Hirano climbed to his feet. She charged him and ran into a hard kick to the gut. He jumped up and connected with a DDT on Park. Hirano pulled her up slowly and drove a knee into her gut before hitting a bridging northern lights suplex. Park was able to kick out just after two and start to get to her feet. She rolled to her knees and took a hard kick to the chest from Hirano. Hirano wound up and landed another hard kick to Park. Hirano then followed it up with a vicious buzzsaw kick that crumbled Park. Hirano pulled her to the center of the ring and hit a standing star press and hooked the leg but could only get two. Hirano fell into the ropes as he stood and allowed Park to rise. He charged and hit a big running one leg dropkick. Hirano popped up and ran to the corner and started to shake the ropes. He leaned back and charged as Park rolled over and hit the Yoi Yume O (Running Knee to Knelt Opponent)! Hirano pulled Park to her feet and lifted her up before hitting the Oyasumi (Fireman Carry to Overhead Kick)! He rolled her into a cover as the fans counted along but Park kicked out just before three!
Nick Webb: Park kicked out! She kicked out!
Hirano couldn’t believe it and pulled Park back up. He tried to lift her up again but she slid down behind him and looked for a backslide pin but he kicked out at two. Hirano rolled to his feet as Park stood and he walked right into Seoul Food (Eat Defeat)! Park covered and hooked a leg and Hirano kicked out at two! Park pounded the mat and pulled him to the center of the ring. She grabbed his legs and locked in the Sasori Gatame (Sharpshooter). Hirano pushed up with his hands, applying more pressure, but was able to crawl to the ropes to break the hold.
Nick Webb: What does Park have to do to put Hirano away?
Hirano hugged the ropes and used them to pull himself up. Hirano stepped forward and ducked a clothesline and lifted Park, connecting with a blue thunder bomb and tried to pin. The fans once again counted along but Park kicked out at two. Both competitors were slow to their feet and Hirano was up first. He looked for the tornado kick but Park dodged and hit a second Seoul Food! She dove into another cover and picked up the win!
WINNER AND NEW BWF SOVEREIGN CHAMPION: Brianna Park, via pinfall [16:22]
Nick Webb: New Sovereign Champion! Brianna actually did it!
Rayne: Kaito put up one hell of a fight defending that title.
Park rolled over to her knees and screamed in victory as she was handed the title. She shouted at Hirano before leaving the ring and we went to commercial.
Coming Soon to Pay-Per-View
Nick Webb: We’re set for the BWF World Championship, Rayne.
Rayne: And we know that Sabrina Scott will not be allowed at ringside at any point in this match. I think we may actually see an ending where one of these two men kill each other. That’s how much they dislike each other.
Nick Webb: We’ve seen career threatening injuries, screwing each other out of the title, attacks on loved ones, and the destruction of a championship belt.
Rayne: One hell of a ride, Nick!
Adams and Chaney were introduced to start things off as the referee was handed the brand new BWF World Championship belt from an official. He held the title up and hung it on the hook as he was lifted 15 feet in the air. Adams and Chaney both looked up at the championship as it was raised and then to each other. The referee left the ring as the bell sounded and the two men were all over each other as they exchanged lefts and rights. Chaney hit a bionic elbow that staggered Adams briefly but Adams returned the favor with a spinning forearm smash. Adams backed Chaney into the corner and hammered him with right hands. Chaney blocked one and flipped Adams into the corner and unleashed hard bionic elbows that forced Adams to the mat. Chaney started to stomp on Adams and choked him with his boot. Chaney broke and walked away before charging and looked for a flipping senton and smashed Adams against the turnbuckle. Chaney climbed out of the ring and grabbed one of the ladders and started to unset it up. He picked it up and walked to the ring. Adams was up and hit a baseball slid from the ring to the outside that connected with the ladder and Chaney fell backwards. Adams grabbed the ladder and dropped it on Chaney. And again. And again. Adams grabbed the ladder and slid it into the ring and followed after. He started to set it up and had it in position. He started to climb but did not get far as Chaney pulled him down and to his feet. Chaney landed a kick to the gut of Adams and followed it with a gutwrench powerbomb. Chaney looked at the ladder and back to Adams. He grabbed the ladder and undid it again and placed it into the corner. He pulled Adams up and pushed him into the ladder back first. Chaney walked around the ring and charged, looking for another flipping senton but Adams moved out of the way and Chaney crashed into the ladder!
Rayne: Crash and burn!
Chaney fell to the mat and rolled away in pain as Adams crawled over to the corner. Chaney slowly got to his feet and Adams came at him and hit the Last Call (Codebreaker)! Adams made his way to the ladder and grabbed it and started to set it up. Chaney stirred as Adams started to make his way up. Chaney was up and grabbed Adams. Chaney pulled Adams down with a powerbomb to the mat. Chaney fell to a knee and punched Adams a few times and made his way to the ladder. He started to climb and got near the top before Adams was able to reach up and grab his foot. Chaney kicked at him a few times and Adams staggered. Chaney touched the title but Adams came back and pushed the ladder over and Chaney crashed to the mat. Adams took a moment to gather himself and set the ladder back up and made the climb. He touched the title but couldn’t reach the strap as Chaney was back up. Chaney pulled Adams down and delivered a cactus clothesline over the top and they crashed to the floor. Chaney looked under the ring and found a table.
Rayne: Tables? This is getting messy.
Nick Webb: I think Chaney has plans with it.
Chaney started to set the table up near the bottom of the entrance ramp and then made his way over to Adams. Chaney looked to powerbomb Adams but Adams landed hard right hands and came crashing down on Chaney. Adams pulled Chaney up and sent him hard into the barricade. Adams looked under the ring and found a steel chair as the fans cheered. Chaney stood and walked right into a hard chair shot to the head. Chaney crumbled to the floor as Adams dropped the chair. Chaney crawled towards Adams and Adams pulled him up. Adams tried to lift Chaney for a suplex but Chaney blocked it. Chaney delivered a hard knee to the gut and drove Adams through the table with a gutwrench powerbomb!
Nick Webb: Chaney just put Adams through the table!
Chaney crawled away and pulled himself up to the apron slowly. He rolled into the ring and was on his knees at the bottom of the ladder. He started to pull himself up it and Adams was stirring. Chaney was halfway up the ladder and Adams was rolling into the ring. He tried to quickly climb up the other side of the ladder and they met at the top. Adams smashed Chaney’s face into the top of the ladder. He tried to lift Chaney to his shoulders but the ladder started to wobble and stopped. Chaney grabbed the ladder and smashed Adams’ head into it. He pulled Adams over the top of the ladder. Chaney jumped and drove Adams into the mat with the Set Up (Double Arm DDT) from the top of the ladder!
Rayne: Oh my god! Chaney could have just killed Adams!
Nick Webb: AJ was spiked into the mat from 15 feet in the air!
Chaney looked around and back to Adams who was out. Chaney stood and fell at the ladder and it fell into the ropes. He got his balance and started to set it up but it appeared broken in the middle. Chaney rolled out of the ring and looked under the ring and pulled out another ladder. Adams was somehow coming to and started to crawl towards Chaney. Chaney pulled him out of the ring and whipped him into the announce table. Chaney charged and was backdrop over the table. Adams pulled Chaney up to the table and set him up for the Legacy Maker (Sister Abigail) but Chaney was able to get free and roll off the table. Adams jumped down and clotheslined Chaney. Adams pushed the second ladder into the ring and went after it, setting it up as Chaney came to. Adams rolled after Chaney and was hit by a bionic elbow. Chaney rolled Adams onto the announce table and climbed after him. Chaney started to set up for the Punchline (Package Piledriver) but Adams fought out. He drove his knee into the gut of Chaney and delivered the Legacy Maker as the table broke! Adams rolled over Chaney and crawled towards the ring.
Nick Webb: This might be it!
Adams climbed into the ring and started to set up the other ladder right beside the one he just set up. Chaney was coming to and tried to get to the ring as Adams climbed. Chaney dove into the ring and climbed the ladder with Adams. The ladder started to bend in the middle and Adams stepped over to the second ladder. He kicked the ladder Chaney was on and the ladder started to tilt. Chaney grabbed the title and tried to punch Adams and connected. Adams kicked the ladder again as Chaney threw another punch. Adams kicked Chaney’s ladder again and it started to tip and Chaney fell and the racked on the ropes! Adams reached up and pulled the championship down as the referee called for the bell!
WINNER AND STILL BWF WORLD CHAMPION: AJ Adams, via title retrieval [24:44]
Nick Webb: AJ did it!
Rayne: I don’t believe it!
Adams fell off the ladder and clutched the title as trainers rushed to the ring to check on both competitors. Adams tried to push him away and rolled out of the ring and held the new title high. He crawled into the crowd and hugged a few fans as they roared in cheers.
Rayne: Adams partying with the fans of Boston.
Nick Webb: What a match! AJ and Allen tore into each other and AJ is walking out as champion. I think AJ has exercised his demons and has made it clear he’s the BWF World Champion.
We get a final shot of Adams making his way through the crowd and over the barricade and to the back. He holds the title high as Chaney starts to sit up and we fade to black.
