Episode 209 - October 5, 2015
Nick Webb: Welcome to BWF’s Monday Night Havok! We’re back in Chicago as we’re one week removed from Retribution and what an event it was. We left Japan with new Tag Team Champions, two new Chaos Theory Champions, and a brand new International Champion.
Rayne: And Allen Chaney left with the BWF World Championship!
Nick Webb: Allen did leave with the championship belt but AJ Adams is still the champion and rumor has it he’s here and has been tearing up the backstage area looking for Allen most of the day.
We see a recap of Retribution as Chaney was about to hit the Heckler Control and was attacked by Sabrina Scott to cause the disqualification and the aftermath that followed.
Nick Webb: Allen left the event saying the belt was his as he had AJ beat.
Rayne: Possession is 9/10th of the law! I’m sure Allen will give AJ the title back if AJ can take it from him.
F.M. Young Vs. Karli Frost
Rayne and Webb were joined at ringside by the new International Champion Xaria Linette before the match started. She gave praise for Young, stating she was a tough competitor. Frost and Young locked up and Young was looking to make the match fast paced at she hit a few quick kicks to Frost. Frost returned the blows and hit a forearm smash to the face of Young. Young returned it with a quick back elbow and a double axehandle. Frost hit the mat and was pulled up by Young. Young started to look for a bulldog but Frost pushed her away as Young jumped up. Young hit the mat and climbed back up to her feet. Frost charged and hit a running dropkick. Frost quickly climbed to the second ropes as Young started to get to her feet. Frost dove and hit the Hook-Up (Flying neck Breaker) once Young was to her feet. Frost taunted briefly over Young and pulled her back to her feet. Young locked in a sleeper hold on Young in the middle of the ring as Young struggled to get out. Young eventually dropped to her knees and rolled Frost over her head. They both got to their feet an Young dropped Frost a big spinebuster. Young stayed on a knee as Frost slowly got to her feet and Young lifted her up to her shoulders. Young connected with the Boom Pow (GTS). Young started to climb to the top ropes and briefly looked out to Linette still watching on. Young looked for the Midnight Overdrive (Shooting Star Senton) but Frost rolled out of the way! Young staggered up to her feet slowly and walked into Frost. Frost dropped Young with the Afterglow (Gory Neckbreaker) and rolled her into a cover for the win.
WINNER: Karli Frost, via pinfall 10:23
Linette took her headset off and walked around the ring as Young started to come to. Frost rolled out of the ring and headed up the ramp with her Trios Title. Linette gave a glance to Young before turning away and left up the ramp.
The Search: Part 1
We’re taken backstage and see AJ Adams walking backstage. He kicks open a door and starts shouting for Allen Chaney.
AJ Adams: CHANEY! COME OUT!
The people in the room scatter and Adams walks out behind them and grabs one of the backstage crew.
AJ Adams: You tell everyone that I’m looking for Chaney. Then you go and find the Wyatts and tell them that we’re going to have a problem if Chaney doesn’t give me back my belt tonight.
He pushes the crew member away and returns to his hunt.
Johnny Maverick Vs. Triad
Maverick stood in the ring and did not look too happy after the events of Retribution. Triad came out to the ring a little banged up after the attack he suffered by the still unknown assailant. Triad didn’t let it slow him down as the match started and tried to get Maverick with a surprise Rider Kick (Roundhouse Kick) but Maverick ducked it. Maverick hit the ropes and came back with the OF!MF! (Running Shotei) that dropped Triad. Maverick pulled Triad up and connected with a big German suplex. He rolled him up and wanted to go for a second German suplex but Triad flipped behind Maverick and landed on his feet. Triad landed a hard kick to the back of Maverick and followed it with a belly to back suplex. Triad started to pull Maverick up but was tackled to the mat and assaulted with lefts and rights. Maverick pulled Triad up and hit the Tony Jaa (Jumping Knee Strike) and Triad dropped. Maverick slowly pulled Triad up and soon delivered the butterfly suplex that transfers right into the rest of the Pefecter Armbar (Butterfly suplex into cross armbar) and Triad had no choice but to submit.
WINNER: Johnny Maverick, via submission 8:44
Maverick quickly rolled out of the ring and left for the back as Triad started to get to his feet. He leaned on the ropes and the lights once again went back out for close to a minute. Once they came back on we once again saw Triad laid out and being attended to by the referee.
Nick Webb: That’s twice in as many weeks that Triad has been laid out.
Rayne: I think it’s safe to say that someone has it out for Triad.
Nick Webb: But who?

AXW EPISODE 25!
Jay Blazenwing Vs. Brianna Park
Rayne and Webb talk about the “descent into darkness” that Park seems to be going through after losing the BWF World Championship. They touch on there maybe being some resentment towards Kaito Hirano as he was welcomed warmly in Japan whereas she believes herself to be the “Asian Hero” of BWF. Blazenwing was looking to pick up a big victory after his makeshift team was defeated at Retribution for the Trios Championship. Blazenwing came out quick with lefts and rights to Park but she ducked one and connected with a neckbreaker. She pulled Blazenwing to his feet and delivered a northern lights suplex and bridged into a cover for two. Blazenwing climbed to his feet and hit a stiff kick to the gut of Park as she charged at him. He grabbed Park and connected with an exploder suplex and rolled into a cover to barely get two. He pulled her back up again and lifted her for a fireman’s carry. Park was able to reverse into a headscissors takedown and kipped up to her feet. Blazenwing rolled to his feet and was hit with a running dropkick that launched him into the corner. Park climbed to her feet and charged at Blazenwing and delivered a corner splash. Park walked out to the center of the ring and started to scream at the fans she was the “Asian Hero” and Blazenwing jumped to the top ropes. She turned and he came flying with the Blazen Double Barrel Shotgun (Missile Dropkick). Park staggered to her feet and had to quickly duck the Full Effect (Superkick). She spun Blazenwing around and dropped him with the Seoul Foot (Eat Defeat) and covered for the win.
WINNER: Brianna Park, via pinfall 10:19
Park leaned against the ropes and just nodded as she said a few things to herself and left the ring, happy with the outcome of the match.
Rayne: Big win for Brianna here tonight. You’d have to think that the Wyatts will have to give her another shot at Kaito since she wasn’t pinned last week at Retribution.
Nick Webb: I’m sure a win tonight helped her case. Folks, I’m being told that we have reports confirming Allen Chaney is currently in the arena.
The Search: Part 2
We’re once again backstage as we’re stationed outside the Wyatts’ Office and we see AJ Adams begin his approach. He doesn’t knock and enters the office as Jackson and Elise are talking and looking over some papers. Elise seated in a chair and Jackson sitting on the edge of the desk. Jackson quickly stands, almost startled, and AJ leaned onto the desk and looks up slowly and speaks calmly and slowly.
AJ Adams: Where is Chaney? I want my championship. If I don’t get it back I’m not going to be very happy.
Jackson Wyatt: We aren’t sure, AJ. We’ve been told he arrived but never checked into his locker room and no one has seen him since stepping into the arena. We’re doing everything we can to get your championship back and once we do it’ll be returned.
AJ Adams: Let’s hope so. He has until the end of the show and by my calculation that isn’t too far off.
AJ turns and walks out of the office and continues his search for Allen Chaney.
More Than Bubbles
Elsewhere in the backstage area of the arena we see Don McMichael standing by with Sabrina Scott who has a big smile on her face. She seems as cheerful and bubbly as ever as Don starts to speak.
Don McMichael: Standing by with me is Sabrina Scott and, Sabrina, everyone wants to know what caused you to attack Allen Chaney last week at Retribution.
Sabrina gives Don a big smile and looks at the camera.
Sabrina Scott: Well, Donnie, everyone has this view of me. I’m the girl that likes bubbles and hugs but they sometimes forget that I’m an exceptional wrestler. Lately I’ve been this… piece… that is used against AJ like I’m some sort of damsel in distress. I’m more than that. I’m a two time International Champion and was part of the first Trios team to win the Trios Championship in less than a year. From here on out it’s time to take things more seriously so I can end up where I deserve to be. I’m no Princess Peach - I’m Mario, and at Retribution Bowser learned that lesson the hard way!

Sabrina Scott Vs. Kurt Hullum
Once Scott was in the ring she looked all business and ready to go. Hullum offered a lock up and they were quick to grapple. Hullum locked in a side headlock to start but was quickly pushed away by Scott. She locked in a sleeper hold but Hullum was able to turn himself just enough to be able to hit a belly to back suplex to break the hold. He rolled to his feet and Scott quickly pulled herself up. He went to grab Scott and she caught him with a back elbow and a neckbreaker. She rolled him into a cover but only got one out of it. Hullum got to his feet and drove an elbow into the gut of Stott as he was standing. He lifted Scott up and drove her into the mat with a powerslam. Hullum lifted her to her feet and hit DDT to drive her back to the mat. He stood and quickly dropped an elbow across her and turned it into a cover for two. Scott rolled away and to her feet and Hullum charged her into the corner with a corner clothesline. He pulled her out of the corner with a running bulldog. Hullum got to his feet and Scott was getting up slowly. He went to grab Scott but she connected with a jawbreaker to stun him and give her a few seconds to recover. She measured him up and hit the step up enziguri that caused him to flip and hit the mat. She jumped to the second rope and dove, connecting with a second rope leg drop. Scott was getting fired up and pulled Hullum to his feet. She started to look for a suplex but Hullum was able to reverse and drove her into the mat with the Crash Landing (Snapmare Driver). He pulled Scott to her feet slowly and had her in the middle of the ring. She drove her knee into his gut out of desperation and unloaded with a flurry of lefts and rights. She tackled him to the mat and began an assault. She jumped to her feet and Hullum started to stand but was quickly hit with a shining wizard. Scott started to stomp onto Hullum and the referee had to pull her away as he had rolled to the ropes. Rayne and Webb pointed out the ferocity from Scott as she pulled Hullum back up. He hit a forearm to push Scott back but she returned it with a kick to the gut and spun him around and connected with the Pocketful of Sunshine. She thought about going for the pin attempt but decided to climb to the top ropes. She was locked onto Hullum and connected with Sonic Rainboom (Red Arrow) and covered for the win.
WINNER: Sabrina Scott, via pinfall 11:29
Scott climbed to her feet and had her arm raised in victory and just watched Hullum start to get to his feet. She walked past him and went towards the back as Rayne and Webb said that something surely did seem to change in Sabrina near the end of the match.
The Search: The Finale
“Lights Out” hit once again and AJ Adams came to the stage slowly and looked around the ring. He made his way to the ring and made sure to grab a microphone from Scott Benjamin at ringside.
Nick Webb: Well, folks, it’s time to see how this is going to play out. AJ has been looking for Allen all night long but no one has seen Allen outside of his arrival to the arena.
Rayne: Are they sure it was Allen and not just some Joe from the streets?
Nick Webb: Yes.
AJ Adams: All night long I’ve made it clear that Allen Chaney has something that belongs to me. I went into Retribution as the World Champion and despite the fact that, due to interference, I was disqualified I am still the World Champion. I know you’re here, Chaney.
There’s a long pause as Adams looks around the arena.
AJ Adams: CHANEY!
The BlazenTron finally lights up as we see Allen Chaney standing somewhere backstage with the BWF World Championship over his shoulder. Adams leans against the ropes and motions for him to come down to the ring.
Allen Chaney: Hey, AJ. I got your message that you wanted me to come out to the ring. This?
He makes sure the title is snug on his shoulder.
Allen Chaney: This is what you want, isn’t it? You think that this is yours when clearly I was about to win the match anyway. I did you a favor by just taking it now rather than beat you within an inch of your life later on and take it from you then.
AJ Adams: Come on down to the ring and let’s find out how that plays out, Chaney.
Chaney starts to laugh and shakes his head.
Allen Chaney: You think I’m stupid, AJ? You’ll take the title and run. Right now I have control and I’ll keep it that way. Sure, the Wyatts informed me that I have to give you back your championship…
He pauses and puts the title down on the ground.
Allen Chaney: -But they didn’t say in what condition.
The crowd gasps as Chaney grabs a sledgehammer and looks at the title.
AJ Adams: Don’t even think about it, Chaney!
Allen Chaney: Oh, you don’t want me to do this?
Chaney lifts the sledgehammer up to his shoulder, ready to swing.
Allen Chaney: I’ll make you a deal, AJ. Wreckless. You, me, the championship on the line. One more time. You really think you can beat me then it won’t be a big deal. Or I can bust up the title, return it to you in pieces, and you’ll be champion knowing that you can’t beat me.
Chaney waits for a moment as Adams watches on and starts to swing, stopping as Adams speaks.
AJ Adams: Stop! You got it, Chaney! Me. You. Wreckless. I’ll kick your ass one more time and show you that you’re nothing but words. I have no problem whipping you around this ring and returning the favor that you gave me at Hearts on Fire. Match on.
The fans cheer as Adams agrees to the match.
AJ Adams: Now bring me my belt.
Allen Chaney: So we have a match?
AJ Adams: We have a match. Chaney, Adams, one last time.
Chaney starts to laugh.
Allen Chaney: Great. Too bad I had my fingers crossed!
Chaney laughs again as he starts to destroy the BWF World Championship with the sledgehammer. The belt is in pieces as Chaney kicks it away and looks into the camera. Adams is in shock as he’s fallen to his knees, the fans speechless.
Allen Chaney: You’re next, AJ. This was the setup, Wreckless will be the punchline.
Chaney drops the sledgehammer and walks off camera as we get one last shot of Adams looking at the destroyed title on the ground via the BlazenTron and then we fade to black.
