Episode 204 -August 14, 2015
The show kicked off with a recap of last week's action. We saw Ragnarok defeating Honor Club in a hard fought match to become the new Trios Champions. It also included Brianna Park slapping Elise Wyatt and getting tossed out of the arena. It ended with a shot of AJ Adams pinning X and becoming the new number one contender.
Bring the Heat
"Lights Out" by POD kicked in and the crowd went wild as AJ Adams stepped onto the stage with a microphone in hand. He walked down the ramp and fist bumped a handful of fans before rolling into the ring. He began to talk as soon as his music died down.
AJ Adams: Last week I stood here in this ring and defeated two other competitors. I came into this ring with one goal and that was to win. Fhenix stuck his nose where it didn't belong but that's not my fight. That's X's and I know that Fhenix will get what's coming to him and I'm sure it'll happen soon. That doesn't change the fact that I left the ring as the new number one contender.
The fans give him a nice cheer.
AJ Adams: I earned my way to Heatwave, the biggest event of the summer, and I'll be getting my shot at doing something I've never been able to do; defeat Elena Simonova.
The fans give a small cheer for Elena as well.
AJ Adams: Elena and I have teamed up on a few occasions since the reopening of BWF but we've competed against each other four times. At Legacy X she was able to pick up a win over me because of Outlaw and David Slayton. WrestleFest VII she pinned Outlaw in a triple threat match to become Undisputed BWF Champion. I did technically win at Survival of the Sickest this year but I wasn't involved with her elimination. Then, finally, on February 20th she beat me in this ring. Elena has had my number, no doubt.
He looks around the arena and then starts to smirk.
AJ Adams: No more. No more and that's thanks to Allen Chaney.
There's a boo for Allen's name but a lot of confusion as to why Allen is to thank.
AJ Adams: Since Allen nearly ended my career I've been more focused, more determined than I have ever been. I am coming for the BWF World Championship because I aim to be the greatest. I will once again call myself the World Champion and I'll once again prove that I'm the best here in the BWF. Be prepared, Elena. It's time to bring the heat.
Ragnarok Vs. Honor Club
As soon as the bell sounded this match exploded into a brawl as Fenryr and Hirano exchanged lefts and rights while Scott and Frost fought in the corner. Scott speared Frost to the mat and started to land some mounted punches. Fenryr hit a big belly to belly suplex on Hirano. Fenryr tossed Hirano out of the ring over the top rope but he landed on the apron. Fenryr grabbed Scott and started to land a series of German suplexes. Hirano springboarded into the ring with a flying kick. Hirano hit a jumping DDT and looked to end it but Frost broke it up. Scott and Frost became legal and Scott looked for The Alley-Oop (Lionsault) but Fenryr clubbed her as she hit the ring. The referee gave him a warning. Fenryr was tagged in and hit her with the Gravedigger (Full Nelson Legsweep Faceplant). Hirano tried to come off the top rope but was powerbombed by Fenryr. Frost was tagged in and she hit the Tomkitty (Long-range Diving Frog Splash Double Elbow Drop) to pick up the win for her team.
Winners: Ragnarok 12:11
FM Young Vs. Angel Kash
This match was hard hitting right from the start as Kash and Young have a lot of bad blood. Kash looked for a lot of advantages with eye rakes and hair pulling whenever the ref's view was blocked. She looked to roll up Young with a school girl and use the ropes for leverage but the referee caught it and stopped the count. Young got to her feet and started her come back with hard strikes. She hit Kash with the Boom Pow (GTS) and asked the crowd if she should make Kash tap and they gave a big cheer. Young grabbed Kash and locked in a figure four and forced Kash to tap out.
Winner: FM Young 9:42
After the match we saw Alex Silver come to the ramp and gave Young a small clap and say he was coming for the title. We also went backstage next and heard from the Wyatts. They explained that after last week's actions by Brianna Park and the outcome of main event they had come to some decisions. They decided to place Park in a match against the a man that is probably the most pissed off man in the company after seeing AJ Adams win, Allen Chaney. Park and Chaney would face off and they decided that it would be for the number one contendership at Heatwave. They also said that after speaking to X earlier in the day, they have booked X versus Jonathan Fhenix.
BWF Sovereign Championship
Danny Hall Vs. Kurt Hullum (c)
The Sovereign title was held high as the match was announced. Hullum and Hall locked up early and Hullum looked to keep the match at a slow pace as he grounded Hall with a sleeper hold. Hall tried to fight back and threw his head back into the jaw of Hullum and broke the hold. Hall hit a discus clothesline and looked for a pin but only got one. Hall kept trying to pin Hullum and Hullum would kick out just after one and he finally got to his feet. Hullum hit Hall with the Crash Landing (Snapmare Driver) and looked for the win but only got two. After some wristlocks by Hullum we saw Hall attempt the Hallway to Hell (Bobby Roode's Variation of the Fireman Neckbreaker) but Hullum was able to struggle free and to his feet. Hall looked for a double arm DDT but Hullum spun out of that as well. Hall rocked Hullum with a superkick that sent him into the corner. Hall was getting fired up and looked for a corner splash but missed as Hullum moved. Hullum grabbed Hall and locked in the World of Kurt (Gogoplata) and forced Hall to submit.

AJ Adams Vs. Alex Silver
We get a very close match up as Adams and Silver square off and really impress the fans as they go through a series of reversals to start the match. They try to one up the other as they keep slipping in and out of holds. The lock up again and Adams is able to spear Silver into the corner and land a few uppercuts. Adams looked to end things after he hit Eat It (Fame-Asser) but Silver was able to kick out. Silver got to his feet and started to fight back and mounted a good offence. He caught a charging Adams with a superkick and the Colorado Silver Boom (Sitout Swinging Sideslam). He looked for a pin but only got two out of it. Silver looked for a Tornado DDT but Adams pushed him away on the spin and Silver landed on his stomach and face. He staggered up and right into Adams' Legacy Maker (Sister Abigail) and Adams picked up the win.
Winner: AJ Adams 10:24
Adams started to head towards the back as Elena Simonova made her way to the ring, early, for her match that was coming up. The two had to pass each other on the ramp and shared a few words before both smiled.
Elena Simonova Vs. Jonathan Fhenix
AJ Adams could be seen sitting against the BlazenTron as he looked down the ramp and watched the match. Elena was caught off guard when the bell sounded as Fhenix quickly attacked her with hard kicks. She was able to dodge one and started to land a few kicks of her own. Elena hit a dragon whip and locked in a leg lock on Fhenix. Fhenix was able to reach the ropes to break the hold. He grabbed Elena as he stood and connected with an impressive release belly to belly suplex. He sent her into the ropes next and connected with the Stock Market Crash (D-Lo Brown's Sky High) and got a two fall. Elena got to her feet and sent him into the corner and hit the 200 Proof (Lifting corner knee strike to Monkey flip). She called for the Vodka Tonic (Canadian Destroyer) but Fhenix hit a backdrop. He exited the ring and grabbed a steel chair. He held it above his head, ready to swing it, and it was grabbed by X! X stole the chair from the apron and jumped down. He started to back up and told Fhenix to bring it. Elena spun him around and hit the Reverse Psychology (C4) and covered for a win.
Winner: Elena Simonova 12:20
Elena celebrated in the ring as Fhenix rolled out of the ring, fuming. He watched X stand at the top of the ramp near AJ Adams who was watching Elena as we went off air.
