Beta Test - July 31, 2015Nick Webb: We are live in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the birthplace of the BWF! The BWF has a storied history here in the halls of the Bradley Center. Tonight a sold out crowd of 18,925 are here in attendance and have been voting for weeks on tonight’s matches. Beta Test is in the hands of you, the fans!
Rayne: It’s been 9 years since this event has happened! There’s a lot of excitement backstage tonight. Also a lot of tension as anything could happen when it comes to voting. How far will someone to go for a vote?
Not the Vacation You Thought it WasScott Benjamin: Ladies and gentlemen, at this time, please welcome... JACKSON AND ELISE WYATT!!!
Elton John's "Crocodile Rock" cues up on the sound system in the BMO Harris Bradley Center as the fans come to their feet. Jackson and Elise Wyatt, the dual Directors of Operation in BWF, step out onto the stage looking every bit as professional as ever, while still soaking up the positive reaction from the crowd.
Nick Webb: They're back from vacation, folks! EW's Wade Mason has been overlooking things for the last few weeks while the Wyatts got some well-deserved relaxation, but now, the bosses are back!
Rayne: And what timing! BWF's parent company, Excelsior Sports, has been dissolved! What does that mean for the future of the BWF?
Jackson and Elise make their way down to the ring and climb inside, reaching for mics as the music fades out.
Jackson Wyatt: HELLO, MILWAUKEE!!!
Cheap pop.
Elise Wyatt: My husband and I may have been out of the office for the last few weeks, but I promise we haven't been out of the loop. In fact, I'd say we pretty much took control of the loop.
Jackson Wyatt: Yes indeed, my lady love. In the interest of not drawing this announcement out, I know you're all worried about what will come of BWF moving forward. Well, let me put those fears to rest. My wife and I were not out in the Bahamas, soaking up UV rays and sucking on mojitos.
Elise Wyatt: Well, we had hotel mojitos.
Jackson Wyatt: Those were pretty horrible.
Elise Wyatt: Like drinking Hawaiian Punch cut with Draino.
Jackson Wyatt: Anywhoozle, as Miss Sabrina Scott might say... (pop for Sabrina Scott's name) ...Elise and I were traveling around the world, finalizing deals to secure the future of this company. As of this moment, Elise and I are no longer the Directors of Operation in BWF.
Elise Wyatt: Say hello to the new Owners of the Blazenwing Wrestling Federation!
The crowd cheers loudly. They like the Wyatts.
Jackson Wyatt: Now, we're not the full Owners. We didn't have the cash, if I'm being straight with you all. Elise and I are both 33% Owners of the Blazenwing Wrestling Federation.
Elise Wyatt: There is another party out there who owns the remaining 34%. You may have heard of him... because he brought this place to life. Our new partner is the AXW Xperience Champion, BWF Hall of Famer David Slayton!
The crowd cheers louder... but the cheers die down and some boos are heard when Slayton doesn't come out.
Jackson Wyatt: Unfortunately, David couldn't be here tonight, but as the majority Owners, he trusted us to be able to make this announcement in his stead.
Elise Wyatt: You may have also heard that the Blazenwing Wrestling Federation is the new parent company of former EWS territory Alternative Xperience Wrestling, where David Slayton himself competes.
Jackson Wyatt: Don't worry; David himself was adamant that his AXW talent contract be reworded in such a way that being a controlling interest in that company has zero effect on his standing in AXW.
Elise Wyatt: AXW will not be merging with BWF, and though it will continue to air on the BWF Network, AXW will remain a separate entity. However, you may see some AXW competitors pop over here on occasion for a special match, and the same goes for BWF competitors in AXW.
Jackson Wyatt: The stellar Sabrina Scott/Kurt Hullum match we saw a few weeks back was the first taste of that new partnership.
Elise Wyatt: Well, there you have it, folks. We are just as excited to see this pay-per-view event as you all are - we can't wait to see who you voted for!
Jackson Wyatt: Without further ado, let's get things underway. Welcome to Beta Test 2015! Tonight, YOU have the power!
"Crocodile Rock" starts playing again as the Wyatts exit the ring, high fiving the fans in Milwaukee.
Nick Webb: Some huge news! BWF is once again an autonomous company, and to top that cherry with another cherry, BWF now owns AXW!
Rayne: Forget all that - David F'ING Blazenwing is back in charge!
Nick Webb: Only in a shareholder's capacity, from what I understand.
Rayne: I don't care, and I expect Jonathan Fhenix won't, either! Tonight is not a good night to be Jay Blazenwing!
Nick Webb: Alright, folks... it's time for the first vote of the night. You got to pick which Empire Wrestling competitors will compete live tonight. Originally scheduled for Breakthrough, this match has been promoted to the main card. Let's find out which EW competitors are about to make their BWF pay-per-view debuts!
Nick Webb: Wow! A three way tie!
The fans buzzed as they watched former BWF star Kirlia Gardevoir come to the ring as she recently made her wrestling return to Empire Wrestling and crowd favorites “Mighty Jo” Young and The Notch made their way to the ring. The three competitors circle around the ring and Young looked around the arena and smiled from ear to ear. Notch and Kirlia tangle up in the ring and Notch quickly locks in a side headlock. Kirlia tried to push Notch but Notch flipped her over and drove her to the mat. They rolled to their feet and Notch was taken down by Kirlia by an arm drag. Kirlia turned around and was dropped with a hard clothesline from Young as the crowd popped. Young pulled Kirlia to her feet and lifted her into a vertical suplex that brought Kirlia crashing down to the mat. Young stood and was dropped by a standing dropkick from Notch. Notch quickly pulled Young to her feet and Kirlia assisted him in hitting a double DDT. Kirlia and Notch got to their feet and started to exchange lefts and rights. Kirlia ducked an incoming clothesline and rocked Notch with the Pretty Petal (Chick Kick) as he turned back towards her. Kirlia rolled Notch into a cover. One… two and a kickout. Kirlia stood and was hit with a hard running elbow from Young.
Nick Webb: The youngster is still in this thing. She’s showing a lot of fight against two wrestling veterans.
Rayne: All it’s going to take is one opening for one of these competitors and this thing is going to be over.
Young had pulled Kirlia to her feet and sent her into the ropes and connected with the Young Gun (AA Spinebuster). Young stood and turned right into Notch coming off the top ropes with a flying crossbody. He tried to cover as he hooked a leg. One… two.. kickout. Young powered to her feet and ducked under Notch and grabbed him from behind. She looked for a German suplex but was clubbed with a forearm from behind by Kirlia. Notch staggered forward and into the corner. Young was spun around and hit with the Shire Slam (Michinoku Driver) by Kirlia. Kirlia stood and was hit with a bulldog by Notch. Notch got the crowd fired up and hit the West Sider (Worm [Spelled NOTCH) legdrop). He rolled onto Kirlia and hooked a leg. One… two.. broken up by Young. Young pulled Notch to his feet and sent him into the ropes and hit him with the Caught Up (Spear). Kirlia was back to her feet and landed a kick to Young’s gut. She looked to follow it up with the Bleeding Rose (Sliced Bread #2) but Young reversed it into a belly to back suplex. Kirlia staggered to her feet and right into Young’s Mighty Slam (Batista Bomb). Young went for a cover but Notch quickly grabbed her and hit the N Factor (X-Factor). He then dove over to Kirlia and hooked both legs for a cover. One… two… three!
WINNER: The Notch, via pinfall
10:44Notch rolled to his feet in celebration and watched as Kirlia rolled out of the ring, watching on. Notch helped Young to her feet as they shook hands and embraced the BWF crowd.
Rayne: What a showing by these EW superstars.
Nick Webb: I think it’s safe to say that the future of the BWF continues to be bright if we can see these talented superstars one day. They should be proud of their showing tonight. With that said let’s see what’s next!
Rayne: WHAT!?
Nick Webb: I can’t believe we’re getting a double stipulation for this match.
Rayne: I still can’t believe that this is a match.
The referee placed “Danny Hall” the skunk in the middle of the ring as Danny Hall the human climbed into the ring. The bell sounded to start the match and Hall the human started screaming “I’m the best Danny Hall” at the stuffed skunk as if it would respond. He pounded his chest and told the skunk to “bring it” as the fans just looked on confused. Hall ran off the ropes and stopped at the skunk before going off another side of ropes, stopping once again. Hall screamed “fight me!” at the skunk.
Rayne: Please. Kill me.
Hall grabbed the skunk and grappled with it before connecting with a floatover suplex into a cover. One… two… three.
WINNER: Danny Hall, via pinfall
:44Danny Hall stands and acts as if he just won a championship and grabbed the stuffed skunk, now nameless. He ripped off its head as the fans booed and tossed it into the crowd.
Rayne: THAT DIDN’T BELONG TO HIM!
Nick Webb: Can we just move on?
The cameras show Da Bomb backstage when her jaw dropped. She started to sob and a lone tear fell from her cheek. She blinked a couple of times and it was as if it never happened as she shrugged and said “meh”, walking off.
Family LegacyThe screen opens with an “earlier tonight” in the corner of the ring and we see an empty arena of BMO Harris Bradley Center where we see Jay Blazenwing sitting on a chair with a microphone in hand in the middle of the ring.. Jay takes a second to gather his thoughts before opening his mouth to speak.
Jay Blazenwing: It was…it was right here in Bradley Center, the year 2002, where my brother David and his then girlfriend Jen Corlen got tickets to see a Smackdown Wrestling Federation show. There he watched an epic main event between Dark Master and his favourite wrestler The Xtreme One for the SWF World Championship. Although TxO lost, my brother still wanted to get an autograph from his favourite brother. Sadly he when he went backstage, TxO already left the building and Dave had to go to work as a bouncer for a local Milwaukee club. There, three 19 year old college students were being rowdy and tried to attack my brother after being denied the access to the club. However, my brother single headedly took all three of them down and sent them packing. Little did he realize that his idol TxO and Dark Master were standing in line, waiting for access into the club! TxO was impressed in how easily David handled the troublemakers and gave him his number after Dave told him how much he wanted to be a wrestler. TxO told him that he will put a recommendation for a job and two weeks later, David got a call from SWF Chairman Fusion.
Jay chuckles to himself, recalling the moment of how Dave Slayton’s wrestling career started.
Jay Blazenwing: Thirteen years later, my brother still tells me that story and thirteen years later, that story never gets old. The moral of the story as my brother would say, “Never give up on your dream, because one day it will become a reality.” I cherished that quote dearly. The same way my brother looked up to TxO is the same way I looked up to him. I want to be like my brother. I want to make a name of myself like he did. I want to “blazen my own glory” like he did and perhaps much more. It’s the reason why I became BWF International Champion in my rookie year of BWF. I didn’t win that championship by just being the brother of the company named after, but rather I earned it through hard work and dedication just like how David earned all of his titles and accomplishments. You see, I can go on and on about the titles Dave collected, the accomplishments he made, and the great matches he had. Hell, I can tell you about the history of Blazenwing Wrestling Federation and how he created this much fed. That wouldn’t matter to you Jonathon Fhenix, now would it?
Jay’s tone starts to change to get deeper. The usual outgoing, free spirited young Blazenwing is replaced by a dark and serious demeanor wrestler, ready to fight for the honour of his brother.
Jay Blazenwing: Nah, I’m going to talk about how you Fhenix, is trying to spit in my brother’s legacy and for what? To show people the so called truth about my brother? To get your own little spotlight that you don’t even deserve while you slander him? I never claimed that my brother is a saint and I know damn well that BWF fans never claimed that either. No, he’s not above the law. We are all not perfect. We all have skeletons in our closet. Who are you to judge my brother? Yes, my brother has done shady things in the past and has stepped on toes to get to the top of the mountain. Awesome, thank you for pointing that out chief you’re truly a model citizen. But guess what you New York sleazeball, the past is the past and trying to diminish everything he has done is understandable. You can keep playing that Radiohead song in your head and pretend that you’re a Karma Police, but in reality you’re nothing but an asshole that thinks his shit doesn’t stink. I don’t bring up your past and bore the audience to death about every single crime you have committed like you have. Oh no, but only a coward like you would. Matter of fact, only a coward like you would call out someone who’s not even employed here and is wrestling somewhere else.
Jay gets up from his chair as he still looks directly at the camera.
Jay Blazenwing: In our match Jonathon, you can try to burn me, make me bleed or even torture me enough to give me a trip to Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center via ambulance ride. You can try to do all of that, but you can never destroy me. You can never destroy my brother. You can never destroy the Blazenwing’s legacy. We will rise like a true phoenix while we watch you burn to the ground! Tonight, here in front of my hometown and my friends and family, the fans choose our stipulation of our match and no matter what kind of match it is, I’m ready to give it all for my brother and I will kick your slimy ass all the way to freaking Time Squares. You’re nothing but a mere peasant and tonight, I will prove that.
The scene fades away as we go back to ringside.
Nick Webb: Strong words by Jay Blazenwing.
Rayne: I’m excited for this next fight.
Nick Webb: That’s a good use of that word because no matter the outcome of the voting this is going to be a fight. Kaito and Fenryr do not like each other.
Nick Webb: Milwaukee Street Fight!
Rayne: These two men are going to tear each other to pieces.
Nick Webb: There’s no love between Kaito and Fenryr. It’s been well documented that Kaito came to BWF looking to get some sort of retribution for his mentor, Gabe Shelley, after Fenryr took Shelley out of action back in April. It’s even recently gone beyond just these two men and Fenryr’s team of Ragnarok and Kaito’s partners Honor Club have started to go at it.
Rayne: Fenryr already holds one singles win over Kaito. Kaito wants to even the odds and Fenryr wants to end him, much like he did with Gabe Shelley.
Kaito and Fenryr made their way to the ring with no one joining either man at ringside. They immediately started to share words as the referee explained the rules, or lack thereof, for the match. Kaito took off his Trios Championship and handed it to the referee. Fenryr dropped Kaito with a hard right hand as soon as the bell sounded to start the match. Kaito climbed right to his feet and hit Fenryr with a spinning back kick to the gut. Kaito hit the ropes and ran into a shoulder block from Fenryr. Kaito popped back up to his feet and charged at Fenryr. Fenryr lifted Kaito and drove him into the mat with a pop up powerbomb. Fenryr tried to cover Kaito with a hook of the legs. One… two and kickout. Kaito powered to his feet with quick lefts and rights and transitioned into stiff kicks. A kick to the right knee caused Fenryr to fall to his left knee. Kaito hit the ropes and came back with a running dropkick to the face. Kaito pulled Fenryr to his feet and sent him into the ropes. Kaito charged at Fenryr but was lifted up and over the turnbuckle and to the apron. Kaito swung at Fenryr but Fenryr blocked the shot. Fenryr drove his knee into the gut of Kaito and then charged, hitting a shoulder block and knocked him off the apron and flying into the barricade. Fenryr climbed out of the ring and grabbed Kaito off the barricade and sent him hard into the steel steps as the fans booed. Fenryr started to search under the ring as Kaito was slow to get up.
Rayne: Remember, anything is legal!
Nick Webb: This isn’t looking good for Kaito.
Fenryr pulled the ring apron up and pulled out an empty trash can and tossed it into the ring. He reached back under the ring and pulled out a table. Back under the ring Fenryr pulled out a chair and started to make his way over to Kaito. Kaito landed a kick to the gut of Fenryr as Fenryr put the chair over his head for a strike. Kaito looked for a jumping DDT but was pushed away and he landed on his feet. Kaito charged and ducked under a clothesline from Fenryr and followed it up with a blue thunder bomb on the floor. Kaito got to his feet and made his way to the table Fenryr had pulled out. He started to set it up and had it set the side nearest the entrance ramp. Fenryr was back to his feet and clubbed Kaito from behind. He rolled Kaito into the ring and followed after him and looked for a pin. One… two and a kickout. Kaito powered to his feet and tried to life Fenryr for the Saigo no Josha (Fisherman Suplex) but Fenryr battled out. Fenryr clubbed Kaito with the Maul (Double Axe Handle). He pulled Kaito back to his feet and lifted him for the 9-9-9 (Gorilla Press Slam) and tossed him over the top ropes and through the table on the outside of the ring.
Nick Webb: Oh my God!
Rayne: Kaito just got tossed like a rag doll.
Fenryr rolled out of the ring and slowly pulled pieces of the table away from Kaito and pulled him up to his feet and tossed him into the ring. Fenryr covered as he entered the ring. One… two.. and kickout. Kaito barely kicking out in time made the fans pop. Fenryr told Kaito to stay down but Kaito tried to fight back. Fenryr pulled him to his feet and looked for Hel Road (Double Underhook Powerbomb) but Kaito turned it into a headscissor takedown. Fenryr rolled to his feet and tried to whip Kaito into the corner but Kaito reversed it. Kaito charged the cornered Fenryr but ran into a big boot to the face. Fenryr climbed to the second ropes and looked for another Maul but as he jumped Kaito caught him in the jaw with a tornado kick. Kaito ran to the far corner as Fenryr rolled to his knees. Kaito charged and connected with the Yoi Yume O (Running knee to knelt opponent) and covered. One… two and a kickout. Both men were slow to move and Kaito rolled out of the ring and looked under the ring before pulling out a large dufflebag. He opened it up and pulled out a Singapore cane.
Rayne: Is that Gabe Shelley’s bag!?
Nick Webb: I would say yes it is.
Kaito rolled into the ring after also tossing in a chair. Fenryr was up and tried to grab Kaito but took a cane shot to the head. He didn’t budge so Kaito rocked him with a second shot that staggered Fenryr a bit. He fell into the ropes but exploded at Kaito with a hard spear. Fenryr grabbed the chair and drove it into the ribs of Kaito. He picked him up and sent him into the ropes and looked for another pop up powerbomb, this time onto the chair, but Kaito turned it into a headscissors takedown. Fenryr rolled to his feet and was lifted onto the shoulders of Kaito and Kaito connected with the Oyasumi (Fireman’s Carry Overhead Kick). Both men were down and Kaito rolled on top of Fenryr for the cover. One… two… three!
WINNER: Kaito Hirano, via pinfall
19:42Kaito rose slowly in celebration before Fenryr came to and grabbed the chair. Kaito leaned against the ropes and looked to the crowd, allowing Fenryr to swing the chair into his back. The fans booed as Fenryr unleashed three more chair shots on Kaito. He slid out of the ring and pulled Kaito by his foot out of the ring. He moved the steel steps and positioned to where he could stand on them and went under the ring and grabbed another table, setting it up nearby. Kaito tried to fight his way to his feet with right hands but Fenryr dropped him with a t-bone suplex.
Nick Webb: Someone stop this!
Rayne: History repeats itself, Nick.
Fenryr pulled Kaito up to his feet and climbed the steel steps. He lifted him with the Hel Road and drove him through the table as EMTs rushed to ringside. Fenryr backed away as referees told him to leave and he headed towards the back.
Nick Webb: That was brutal but this next match could be just as if not more brutal. Jonathan Fhenix has it out for the Blazenwing family. He wants David Slayton but tonight is getting Jay Blazenwing. Jay’s ready to fight for his brother’s name.
Rayne: Oh no. This isn’t going to be pretty.
Nick Webb: I can’t recall if there’s ever been an inferno match here in the BWF. We could be seeing a first and you’re right, it won’t be pretty. Someone could be walking out of this match scarred.
Jay Blazenwing was pumped up and jumped around the ring as Jonathan Fhenix slowly made his way to the ring. Fhenix walked around the ring as crews set up the burners around the ring. Fhenix climbed into the ring and was immediately attacked by Blazenwing. Blazenwing threw hard right hands to the back of the head of Fhenix and tackled him to the mat. The referee called for the bell to start the match and the flames were lit and the edges of the ring were on fire. The two men rolled to their feet and Blazenwing threw a hard kick to the left leg of Fhenix. He followed it with a second kick to the right side. Blazenwing delivered a kick to the gut and scoop slammed Fhenix to the mat. He started to pull Fhenix over to the ropes, near the fire, but Fhenix kicked Blazenwing in the jaw. Fhenix got to his feet and dropped a staggered Blazenwing with a belly to back suplex. Fhenix pulled Blazenwing to his feet and quickly took him back to the mat with a spinebuster. Blazenwing rolled to his feet and was able to catch Fhenix with a standing dropkick. Blazenwing pulled Fhenix back to his feet and tried to whip him towards the flames but Fhenix was able to stop himself and throw a hard back elbow to the head of Blazenwing. Blazenwing staggered and was picked up by Fhenix as he tried to fireman’s carry him over to the flames. Blazenwing struggled and landed on his feet before he was able to connect with a big German suplex. He slammed his boot on the mat as he begged Fhenix to get up.
Nick Webb: I think Jay is looking to take Jonathan out of this match.
Rayne: Full Effect time!
Fhenix got to his feet and turned as Blazenwing looked for the Full Effect (Superkick) but Fhenix grabbed his foot. Fhenix spun him around and looked for the Tragic Hero (RKO) but Blazenwing pushed him away. Fhenix turned around and walked right into the Blazen of Glory (Swinging Scoopslam into backbreaker + Lariat off knee). The flames got intense as Blazenwing started to pull Fhenix towards the ropes but Fhenix was able to battle away and to his feet. Blazenwing charged and ran right into the Stock Market Crash (Sky High). Both men were slow to their feet. Blazenwing grabbed Fhenix and connected with a hip toss. Fhenix rolled to his feet walked into a scoop slam. Blazenwing pulled Fhenix to his feet and tried to whip him towards the ropes but Fhenix reversed it into a tilt-a-whirl and flowed into the Tragic Hero! Fhenix pulled Blazenwing up to his knees and rolled him out of the ring and Blazenwing’s tights went up in flames!
WINNER: Jonathan Fhenix, via TKO
9:48Trainers were quickly there to put out the fire of Blazenwing’s tights as Fhenix smiled and laughed. He pounded his chest and told David Blazenwing to come out of hiding. He stood in the ring for a few moments and scoffed and called David a coward.
Nick Webb: You have to think that at some point David Slayton is going to have to address Jonathan Fhenix.
Rayne: Jon isn’t going to stop until he gets his hands on Dave.

And now he’s bringing his PASSION, his INTENSITY and his LOVE of the PEOPLE to BWF!We see a silhouette of a man, his back to us, hands on his hips, nodding. Forming beneath him as the camera pans down from the silhouette are golden words, complete with sparkles and a shooting star.
DON’T FRET, BWF. HE’S COMING. The Tron video cuts back to ringside.
Nick Webb: The night of your choices continues next. It’s time for the Chaos Theory Championship where the champion is usually the one to choose the stipulation, except for tonight.
Nick Webb: More brutality! The winner will be the first to score a pinfall or submission and weapons will be hung from each corner of the ring and on the ropes. These four men have all stepped in the ring with each other at some point over the past few weeks and they all want that championship.
The four men all stood in the ring as the referee held the Chaos Theory Championship up and then handed it off before the bell sounded. Maverick quickly went after Lewis as the match started and rushed him into the corner. Maverick grabbed a trash can lid that was hung on a pole in the corner and smashed it over Lewis’ head. He turned and caught Spykeman with a hard shot. Triad came charging and caught Maverick with a jumping heel kick. Triad pulled Maverick up to his feet and popped him in the jaw with a European uppercut and then a kick to the gut. Spykeman came charging over and caught Maverick with the Sweet Christmas (Shining Wizard). Triad grabbed Spykeman as he got back to his feet and dropped him with a tornado DDT. Triad rolled to his feet and turned right into Lewis diving from the top rope with a missile dropkick. Lewis jumped up to his feet as the crowd cheered him on. Maverick was back to his feet and drove a knee into the gut of Lewis and then connected an elbow to the back of his head. He sent Lewis hard into the corner and charged at him before hitting a hard clothesline. Lewis fell to the mat and Spykeman jumped on the back of Maverick and locked in a sleeper hold. Maverick walked to the middle of the ring and fell to a knee. Triad was up and caught Spykeman with the Rider Kick (Roundhouse Kick) that broke the hold. Triad tried to cover Spykeman. One… two and it’s broken up by Lewis. Lewis pulled Triad to his feet and sent him into the ropes and then a backdrop on the return. Lewis hit the far ropes and rolled, hitting the Rolling Kumquats (Rolling Thunder) on Triad.
Nick Webb: Lewis is really feeling it right now.
Lewis started to climb the turnbuckles and measured up Triad. Maverick came charging to the corner and jumped up, hitting the OF!MF! (Running Shotei) on Lewis that made him fall to the floor on the outside. Spykeman spun Maverick around but Maverick ducked behind him and caught him with a German suplex. Maverick pulled Spykeman and connected with a second German suplex. Maverick pulled Spykeman up once more and finished the Maverick Special with the bridging dragon suplex. One… two and it’s broken up by Triad. Triad tried to roll Maverick up with an Oklahoma roll. One… two and kickout by Maverick. Maverick pulled himself up to his feet and stumbled into the corner. Triad charged and hit the Elephant Gun (Mafia Kick in Corner) on Maverick. Spykeman was in the far corner now, trying to stand, and Triad charged and hit the Elephant Gun on him. Triad looked for another Elephant Gun on Maverick but Maverick moved and Triad was hung up on the ropes. Maverick grabbed a chair and started to swing it down on the knee of Triad. He connected three times before Triad fell to the mat and rolled out of the ring. Spykeman had grabbed a trashcan and climbed with it to the top ropes. Maverick turned around and Spykeman tossed the trashcan at Maverick and he caught it. Spykeman dove and hit the Oh My Stars and Garters (Shooting Star Dropkick) that smashed the trashcan into the face of Maverick! Spykeman covered! One… two.. kickout at the last moment!
Nick Webb: I thought that was going to be it!
Rayne: I think Spykeman did too!
Spykeman jumped to his feet and looked around as he thought it was three but the referee quickly told him two. Spykeman grabbed a chair and Triad grabbed the one nearest him. They met in the center of the ring and swung, taking each other out with chair shots. Lewis hurried and climbed the turnbuckle and dove, crashing down on Spykeman and a chair that was laying on his chest and hit the Five Alive Frogsplash (Five Star Frogsplash). He covered as the crowd counted along. One… two.. and Maverick breaks it up. He pulled Lewis to his feet and onto his shoulders before delivering the Welcome to DC (Reverse GTS) and covered. One… two… three!
WINNER AND NEW BWF CHAOS THEORY CHAMPION: Johnny Maverick, via pinfall
13:55Maverick is handed the Chaos Theory title as he threw it over his shoulder and rolled out of the ring, happy with himself.
Nick Webb: What a win by Johnny here tonight.
Rayne: 49 days as Chaos Theory Champion for Triad but you have to think he’ll be wanting a rematch as he was not pinned or made to submit here tonight.
Nick Webb: It also ties a record for longest reign by a Chaos Theory Champion between Triad and Logan Havoc, the man Triad defeated for the title. Now we’re set to see who will challenge The Forgotten for the BWF Tag Team Championship.
Nick Webb: The two time BWF Tag Champs, Justicars of Illium!
Rayne: That isn’t going to make The 323 very happy.
Figgins and Dagger were set to start things off to their teams and locked up in the middle of the ring. Dagger headbutted Figgins and followed it up with a kick to the gut. She drove her knee up and caught Figgins in the face. Figgins staggered backwards into the corner and Dagger charged but ran into a big boot. Figgins jumped to the second rope and dove, connecting with a bulldog from the second ropes. Figgins pulled Dagger up to her feet and sent her into the Justicars’ corner before making a tag to James. James entered the ring and they lifted Dagger with a double suplex. Dagger pulled herself to her feet and caught a charging James with a back elbow to the face. Dagger jumped and hit a standing dropkick on James before rolling back to her feet. She tagged in Phantom. Dagger charged at James and hit a running senton and rolled out of the ring. Right behind Dagger, Phantom hit a jumping leg drop. Phantom pulled James back to her feet and locked in a side headlock. James pushed Phantom into the ropes and he came back with a leaping forearm. Both competitors roll to their feet and Phantom grabbed James and hit a bridging northern lights suplex. One… two and kickout. James rolled to her feet and ducked under Phantom and dropped him with a neckbreaker. James pulled Phantom to his feet and ran off the ropes and connected on the return with the Axis of Rotation (Tilt-a-whirl Headscissors Takedown). James rolled into a cover on Phantom. One… two and kickout.
Nick Webb: A lot of back and forth between these two great teams tonight.
James pulled Phantom to his feet and sent him into the Justicars’ corner and made a tag to Figgins. James whipped Phantom into the ropes and he came back with a spear on James. He jumped back up as Figgins was climbing into the ring and ducked under a clothesline and followed it up with the Sine Oculus (Pele Kick). Phantom rolled across the mat and tagged in Dagger. Figgins got to her feet and turned into a running dropkick from Dagger that sent her hard into the corner. Phantom charged and hit Figgins with the Sine Gloria (Running Boot to Cornered Opponent). Figgins staggered out of the corner and Dagger rolled her up with a small package. One… two.. and James breaks up the attempt. Phantom jumped back into the ring and ran into a backdrop from James. James and Dagger exchanged lefts and rights before Dagger rocked James with a hard headbutt that staggered her backwards and through the ropes. Figgins hit Dagger with the Tony Jaa (Flying Knee Bash). She jumped up and down as Dagger staggered back up to her feet. Figgins looked for the Destiny Hammer (Corkscrew Scissors Kick) but Dagger dodged it and hit a lungblower and fell to the mat.
Nick Webb: Both ladies are down!
Dagger crawled to her corner and tagged in Phantom just as James tagged in from Figgins. Phantom charged and hit James with a hard clothesline. James rolled to her feet and ran into another clothesline. Phantom pulled James up and looked for the Sine Pax (Straight jacket Suplex) but James fought out. James looked for the Bleeding Rose (Sliced Bread #2) but Phantom pushed James front first hard into the corner. Phantom grabbed James and sent her into the ropes and bent down for a backdrop and James hit the Surface of Revolution (Corkscrew Neckbreaker). James rolled onto Phantom as Figgins held off Dagger. One… two… three!
WINNERS AND NEW BWF TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS: Justicars of Illium, via pinfall
12:44James jumped to her feet and rolled out of the ring into the arms of Figgins as they celebrated. The referee handed them the titles as the fans cheered. They started to back up the ramp as The Forgotten watched on, not pleased. The Justicars held the titles up at the top of the ramp and started to duck behind the curtain to the backstage before they were quickly attacked and the fans started to boo. The 323 were all over the Justicars. Torres picked James up and drove her face first into the set. Figgins tried to fight out but was hit by Perez’s Green Lighted (Jumping Complete Shot).
Rayne: I told you the 323 wouldn’t be happy.
Nick Webb: It’s a small celebration for the Justicars as The 323 just sent a big message. They want those championships.
The Challenge“In Fate’s Hands” by Red Jumpsuit Apparatus starts to play throughout the arena and the place goes nuts as Gabe Shelley makes his way out to the stage in street clothes.
Nick Webb: Gabe Shelley is here in Milwaukee!
Rayne: This is the first time we’ve seen him since Fenryr Wulfsson took him out of action back in April.
Shelley makes his way down the ramp and makes sure to high-five as many fans on the entrance ramp as he can before climbing into the ring. He looks around the ring and soaks up the cheers from the fans that have watched him grow for well over a decade. Scott Benjamin hands him a microphone as “Shelley” chants fill the arena.
Gabe Shelley: It’s right here in this building and in this city where I’ve spent many years of my life. I’ve competed in this building more times that I can remember and we’ve all had one HELL of a journey. It’s been months since I’ve been inside a wrestling ring and I haven’t said a lot about what’s happened. You’ve all heard I’ve gone through some rehab and I could bore you with all the details but the main thing is I’m more or less cleared to compete.
The crowd loves the news and pop in cheers.
Gabe Shelley: However I’m not 100% ready to make a commitment to return anywhere full time. I’m getting married in September…
There’s a small pop as many knew.
Gabe Shelley: And I’ve enjoyed spending time with Katie James and taking some time off. So why am I out here?
He starts to pace around the ring a bit and looks around.
Gabe Shelley: There was a rumor that Emily Corlen was scheduled to be here tonight. I’ve also heard rumors about WHY Emily is here tonight. I’ve heard the whispers of retirement mentioned in the same breath as Emily Corlen and I think that she and I need to have a chat before she goes and makes any decisions. I might even have a proposition for her. Some come on out, Em.
Gabe looks around as he awaits Emily Corlen but “Crashland” by Arcturus starts to play in the Bradley Center. The fans pop as Jacob Figgins appears from behind the curtain and onto the stage. Shelley looks confused as he stands near the ropes.
Rayne: That’s Jacob Figgins. Co-founder of Chao Theory Brewery, Eight time PWA Tag Team Champion, former AWA World Champion.
Figgins climbed into the ring and was handed his own microphone.
Jacob Figgins: I hate to break it to you but I’m pretty sure Emily isn’t here tonight. No one’s seen her backstage yet. I’m here though.
Figgins looks around as the fans give him a cheer and Shelley watches on.
Jacob Figgins: Shelley, you and I have gone up and down the roads for years. We’ve both been World Champion, we’ve competed for the same company, but there’s one thing that you and I have never done… and tonight I’m here to change that. Jacob Figgins versus Gabe Shelley, one on one, next month when BWF rolls into St. Louis.
Figgins offers a handshake to seal the deal and the fans love it as Shelley accepts and the crowd roars with a thunderous applause. The two men exit the ring as we cut ringside.
Nick Webb: What a match set for next month!
Rayne: How the Hell will that work? Figgins doesn’t actually work for this company and how do we know Gabe is actually cleared to compete?
Nick Webb: Oh would you shut up.
Rayne: Now Alex Silver gets to find out who he’s going to be defending his championship against.
Nick Webb: Talk about a landslide! We’re set for triple threat action!
FM Young and Angel Kash made their way to the ring as Alex Silver had been awaiting his opponents. The International Championship was handed off as Young and Kash immediately started to trash talk each other. The bell sounded and the two ladies were quick to exchange hard right hands. Kash pulled Young down by her hair and bounced her head off the mat. Silver came and pulled Kash off and lifted her up and dropped her with a high flapjack. Silver rolled to his feet and locked up with Young as she stood. They struggled to gain position on each other but Silver finally locked in a hammerlock on Young. Kash came charging and Young ducked an incoming forearm that caught Silver in the mouth. Kash followed it up with a kick to the gut and a DDT. She rolled to her feet and was hit with an elbow smash from Young. Kash hit the mat and rolled to her feet and was taken down with a hip toss. Young pulled Kash to her feet and tried to lift her up for the Boom Pow (GTS) but Kash drove elbows into the side of Young’s head and battled out. Kash caught Young with the Kash Out (Backstabber) and rolled her into a pin. One… two and Silver is there to pull Kash off. Kash is up to her feet and Silver hit a big release German suplex. Kash staggered to her feet and took a snap kick to the gut that Silver followed up with a Tornado DDT.
Nick Webb: It’s really anyone’s match. Young and Kash look good so far but Silver is as determined as ever to retain.
Young was up and charged Silver but ran into an inverted atomic drop that he followed with a spinning clothesline. Silver rolled up Young. One… two and a kickout by Young. Silver started to get to his feet and Kash hit a running knee lift that sent him tumbling to the outside of the ring. Kash quickly grabbed Young and hit the Buyout (Implant DDT). She pulled Young up and hit her with a Kash Out and rolled her into a cover as she hooked a leg. One… two.. and Silver pulled Kash out of the ring. Silver hit a few quick forearms before bouncing Kash’s face off the ring apron. He rolled her into the ring and started to climb back into the ring. Young ran over and landed a hard kick to the chest of Silver as he leaned into the ring. She followed it up with a rope hung DDT. Young climbed to the top ropes as Silver started to stagger to his feet. Young dove and hit the Good Night Kiss (Diving Hurricanrana) and Silver was sent through the ropes. Kash was up and grabbed Young by the hair and looked for another Buyout but Young pushed her away. Kash charged and was lifted onto the shoulders of Young and Young hit the Boom Pow. She covered as the crowd counted. One… two… three!
WINNER AND NEW BWF INTERNATIONAL CHAMPION: FM Young, via pinfall
13:28Silver dove into the ring but just missed the chance to break up the pin attempt. He looked at Young, first in disbelief, but then gave her a small clap and a pat on the shoulder before rolling out of the ring.
Rayne: Silver showing some respect to Young there. These are two competitors that have a bright future here in the BWF.
Nick Webb: You’re right about that. That was a fantastic match and I think that it’s safe to say that Young and Silver will be meeting again in the ring.
Rayne: Kash will not be pleased once she comes to.
Nick Webb: Let’s found out the opponent for Kurt Hullum in his Sovereign Championship defense!
Rayne: Oh boy.
Nick Webb: Wow. Things just went from bad to worse for Kurt Hullum as he’ll have to defend against Karli Frost, Sabrina Scott, AND Van Biafra.
Rayne: Big opportunity for Karli here tonight. Also a big match for Van and Sabrina as there’s no love there. Plus you have Karli and Sabrina who have gotten into it over the past couple weeks as members of Ragnarok and Honor Club. Lots of great rivalries here in this match alone!
Nick Webb: And Kurt looks to keep his impressive reign alive.
The four competitors stood in the ring and watched the Sovereign Championship be handed off to the timekeeper. They then all started to look around the ring at each other as the bell sounded. Biafra and Frost started to attack Scott and Hullum jumped into the fray and we quickly had a two on two fight going on. Biafra hammered Scott with hard lefts and Hullum fended off Frost’s attack before driving a knee into her gut. Hullum followed it with a STO that dropped her in the middle of the ring. Biafra hit Scott with a hard uppercut before taking her to the mat with a side belly to belly suplex. Biafra jumped back to his feet and met Hullum with hard left hands as he was quick to attack. Biafra pushed Hullum into the corner as Hullum put his hands up to block the incoming blows. Biafra tried to send Hullum into the far corner but Hullum reversed it. Biafra hit the corner and Hullum charged and connected with a corner clothesline and followed it with a bulldog to the center of the ring. He tried to lock Biafra into a crossface but Biafra was able to roll away and get to his feet. Frost was fight Scott against the ropes before Frost lifted Scott up and over the top ropes. Scott landed on the apron and clubbed Frost in the back of the head. Frost staggered away and turned as Scott connected with the Seeing Stars (Springboard Colliding Headbutt). Scott was dazed and that allowed Hullum to hit her with a Crash Landing (Snapmare Driver).
Nick Webb: Action all over the place!
Rayne: Everyone has a lot to prove in this match and want that championship on top of it.
Hullum stood and was quickly taken down by Biafra’s Quickiller (Spinning Backfist). Frost had climbed to the top ropes and came flying at Biafra and dropped him with the AMRAAM (Missile Dropkick). Frost stood and grabbed Scott and hit her with a sleeper slam. She was quickly to the second ropes as Scott started to stand. Frost came flying at her and connected with the Hookup (Flying Neckbreaker) and looked for a cover. One… two and Hullum breaks it up. Hullum pulled Frost to her feet and hit her with two hard right hands before sending her into the ropes. On the rebound Hullum caught Frost with a spinning powerslam. Scott was back to her feet and was taken down with a clothesline. Biafra grabbed Hullum and drove a knee into his gut. Biafra looked for a DDT but Hullum spun out and pushed Biafra into the ropes. Biafra exploded back at Hullum and dropped him with the Instant Karma (Rebound Lariat). Biafra looked for a pin attempt on Hullum. One… two and kickout. Biafra stood and turned towards Frost as Frost came at him with hard kicks. She looked for a springboard crossbody but Biafra caught her. Scott springboarded into the ring and dropkicked Frost that sent her falling onto Biafra in a pin position. One… two and Scott breaks it up. Scott grabbed Frost and hit her with a drop toe hold. Scott climbed to the top ropes and stood on them. She dove and hit the Sonic Rainboom (Red Arrow) on Frost. Biafra pulled Scott to her feet before she could make a pin attempt and sent her up and over the top ropes.
Rayne: Van looking to steal this one!
He rolled Frost into the center of the ring and looked for a pin. One… two.. and Hullum breaks it up at the last moment. Hullum pulled Biafra to his feet and looked for the California Dreaming (Omega Driver). Biafra flipped behind Hullum and landed on his feet. Biafra hit a belly to back suplex on Hullum. Biafra stood but was grabbed from behind by Scott as she hit him with the Pocketful of Sunshine (Codebreaker to Back of Opponent’s head. Frost was back to her feet and grabbed Scott before she could make a pin attempt. Frost tried to whip Scott into the ropes but Scott reversed it. Frost stopped at the ropes and lifted a charging Scott up and over to the floor. Frost looked out at Scott and ran off the far ropes and came back, diving over the top and crashing down hard on Scott. The fans were loving the action as both Hullum and Biafra were getting back to their feet. Biafra drove a boot into the gut of Hullum and set up for the Full Moon Special (Jumping Package Piledriver) but Hullum lifted Biafra with a backdrop. Biafra rolled right to his feet and looked for the Quickiller but Hullum grabbed his hand and jumped up, locking in the World of Kurt (Gogoplata). Frost and Scott were still down on the outside and Biafra had no choice but to tap out.
WINNER AND STILL BWF SOVEREIGN CHAMPION: Kurt Hullum, via submission
17:32Hullum rolled up to his feet and stumbled backwards into the corner as he was handed his championship.
Rayne: What a match!
Nick Webb: Tremendous action all around by these four.
Rayne: I thought Biafra had that near the end there.
Nick Webb: Hullum retains his championship but now it has me questioning could we see the same voting outcome for Brianna Park tonight in the World Championship match.
Coming Soon to PPVFriday, August 28, 2015Nick Webb: Ladies and gentlemen, we can now confirm that Gabe Shelley and Jacob Figgins will go one on one next month at BWF’s brand new event, Heatwave!
Rayne: And now we're all set for the main event!
Nick Webb: Let's see the results for the World Championship voting!
Nick Webb: Not the outcome I thought it was going to be!
Rayne: I don’t know, Nick. Something seems fishy about the voting numbers on this one. AJ and X, two of the more popular superstars in the BWF finished 3rd and 4th? I fully believe that Elena won the vote but I thought this thing would be a lot closer than what it was.
Nick Webb: Either way we’re about to see one Hell of a championship bout.
Scott Benjamin gives the super main event intro as the BWF World Championship is held up high for all to see. Park doesn’t take her eyes off of the belt until it leaves the ring and then burned a hole through Elena with a stare. Elena quickly was able to lock in a sleeper hold as she got behind Park. Park flipped Elena over her shoulder as she dropped to a knee and then locked in a sleeper hold of her own. Elena pulled Park to her feet and looked for a second Vodka Tonic but Park flipped her over her shoulders. Elena got to her feet and was clotheslined over the top ropes which allowed Park to take a knee and breathe.
Rayne: Park showing she’s not going down without a fight!
Elena started to stand on the outside and Park ran off the ropes and came diving between the second and top ropes at Elena and hit a suicide dive. Both competitors were slow as the referee started his ten count. Park made her way back into the ring at around five and Elena was in at seven. Park grabbed Elena and locked in Cry for Kim Il (Figure Four). Elena tried to roll Park over on her stomach but Park was able to not allow her. Elena turned it into the Reverse Psychology (C4). Elena rolled Park into a cover. One… two.. and Park got her foot on the ropes. Elena looked at Park in disbelief as the crowd loved what they were seeing.
Rayne: Wow.
Nick Webb: Two amazing competitors with no quit in them.
Park used the ropes to pull herself to her feet. Elena and Park slowly exchanged right hands and a few kicks. Park whipped Elena into the corner and followed it up with a corner splash. One… two… three!
WINNER AND NEW BWF WORLD CHAMPION: Elena Simonova, via pinfall
25:29 Nick Webb: Elena Simonova just became the first ever four time BWF World Champion!
Rayne: That is a match of the year contender. Brianna Park brought it all tonight.
Elena started to come to as she realised she had won. The referee handed her the title as she grabbed it and held it above her head. Park rolled out of the ring and fell to a knee. She shook her head and slowly made her way up the ramp as Elena leaned against the ropes and showed off the championship.
Nick Webb: What an event! Thank you ladies and gentlemen for tuning in. I’m Nick Webb alongside Rayne. We’ll see you back in Chicago!
We get one last shot of Park watching Elena as we fade to black, logo, black.
