Episode 196 - May 1, 2015
Nick Webb: Welcome to another edition of BWF Friday Night Havok! We are just one week removed from Danger Zone and what an event it was! You can see it all over OnDemand on the BWF Network if you missed it.
Rayne: We have a new BWF Champion and we’ll see him in action tonight as he teams with Brianna Park and Elena Simonova.
Nick Webb: They’ll take on the team of Allen Chaney, Van Biafra, and Zoe Cooper. A lot of hate to go around there. The Sovereign Championship is also on the line tonight as Fenryr Wulfsson takes on Kurt Hullum. Let’s get the show started!
Sabrina Scott high fived Alex Silver to start the match to the confusion of Rayne. Webb guessed that Scott was trying to welcome Silver to the company as the bell sounded. The two locked up and Silver hit a quick snap suplex to catch Scott off guard. Scott rolled to her feet and flowed behind Silver and looked for a roll up and got a two count. Silver popped up and caught Scott with a superkick as she charged. Scott staggered but didn’t fall and Silver jumped up and hit a spiking DDT. He rolled into a cover but only picked up a two. Silver pulled Scott to her feet and scooped her up for the Colorado Silver Boom (Sitout Swinging Sideslam) but Scott turned it into a headscissors takedown that hung him up on the second rope. Scott ran at the ropes and hit the Blue Light Special (619). Silver is hit and rolls to the center of the ring and starts to get to his feet. Scott came springboarding into the ring and hit the Seeing Stars (Colliding Headbutt) and both were stunned. Scott tried to roll up Silver again and once again one got a two count. Both were to their feet and Silver popped up with a dropkick. Scott rolled to her feet and Silver ducked a clothesline and hit a release German suplex. Scott climbed to her feet and Silver looked for a neckbreaker but Scott was able to break free. Scott dropped Silver with a big backdrop in the center of the ring. She looked for the Alley-Oop (Lionsault) but Silver rolled out of the way. Scott landed on her feet and looked for a clothesline but Silver ducked and spun her around, lifting her up and connecting with the Silver Rush (Fireman’s Carry into Cutter) before hooking a leg for the pinfall win.
WINNER: Alex Silver, via pinfall [10:31]
Rayne couldn’t believe that Silver pinned the International Champion in his very first match. Webb quickly pointed out that Silver just became only the second person to be able to pin Sabrina. Scott got to her feet and nodded to Silver in a bit of respect as he rolled out of the ring. Rayne and Webb take a few moments before our next segment to talk about the a bit of the back and forth between Allen Chaney and AJ Adams on Twitter this week as a tweet sent out by Chaney pops up, followed by the response from Adams. Rayne calls Adams insane.
In Due Time
In the backstage area we see Allen Chaney getting prepared for his match in the main event. He’s wrapping up his wrists and hands as Don McMichael walks up to him.
Kim Cranston: Allen. Can we get a few words from you about what happened last week at Danger Zone?
Chaney grabs the microphone and looks at the camera, angry.
Allen Chaney: How about this? AJ is a dead man. I’m going to right the wrong that was done. I’m the rightful BWF World Champion. X can carry that title as long as I say so. I still demand the Wyatts address this and they haven’t so I’ll take matters into my own hands. First X and then, in due time, when I deem fit, AJ will wish he stayed away.
Chaney throws down the microphone and walks off screen.
The Tag Team Champions were set to take on the Forgotten in non-title action as Webb talked about how the Forgotten “turned their backs” on the 27 Club at Danger Zone. Rayne pointed out that Forgotten only wanted to send a message to the 27 Club and that’s what they did. The bell sounded as Scene and Dagger started things off for us. Dagger tried to take advantage early with quick kicks but Scene quickly kicked her hard in the gut, taking the air right out of her. Scene followed it up with a spinning kick. Dagger fell to a knee and was hit with an enziguri. Scene tagged out to Morgan and they hit a double suplex on Dagger. She tried to get to her corner and was pulled away by Morgan. Morgan pulled her up and hit a stalling suplex in the middle of the ring and covered but only got two. Dagger kicked out and tried again to get to her corner but was pulled away. Scene was tagged in and started to stomp on Dagger. Scene tried for another spinning kick but Dagger grabbed her foot and spun her around before dropping her with a hard clothesline. Dagger pulled Scene to her feet and whipped her into the corner. Dagger charged and hit the Hither Whirling (Front Flip Dropkick). She made a tag to Karloff as he entered the ring and started to attack the fallen Scene. He pulled her up and started to set up for a powerbomb but Scene flipped behind him and made a tag to Morgan. Morgan charged and hit a jumping clothesline on Karloff. Karloff stood and was grabbed and hit with a German suplex. Morgan started to prepare for the Hybrid Moment (Boma Ye Knee) but noticed Nael on the outside heading to the timekeeper’s area. She picks up the Tag Titles and starts to check them out. This allowed for Karloff to spear Scene off the apron while Dagger jumped in the ring and hit Morgan with the Beyond the Wall of Sleep (Asai DDT Setup into Double Knee Backbreaker). Karloff came flying off the top ropes and hit the Psychlotrode X (Corkscrew 630 Splash) for the win.
WINNERS: The Forgotten, via pinfall [9:14]
Nael tossed the Tag Titles over her shoulders and said “Let’s go” to Dagger and Karloff as they exited the ring. At the top of the ramp she handed off the titles to Karloff and Dagger before they disappeared behind the curtain. Rayne and Webb point out the match wasn’t for the Tag Titles and they aren’t even the current number one contenders. Rayne mentions “sending messages” again and calls them what they really are, thieves.
Honor
In the backstage area we see Kaito Hirano sitting in a locker getting checked out by trainers after taking an assault on Breakthrough. They given him the final okay as he started to take off his boots, his night over. There’s a knock on the door and in walks Toshi Yang. Kaito stands and gives a polite bow to Toshi.
Toshi Yang: Hello, Mr. Hirano. I was hoping I could get a few words with you.
Kaito nods yes as Toshi approaches and the camera gets into a better view of the men side by side.
Toshi Yang: Kaito, you’ve won both of your matches so far in BWF but I doubt they’ve come how you’ve expected them to. It’s no secret that you have a personal vendetta with Fenryr Wulfsson and by association that includes both Rune and Karli Frost. You’re only one man. Do you have a plan of attack?
Kaito Hirano: Attack head on. I will not back down from this fight.
Toshi Yang: Aren’t you worried at what the numbers game could do?
Kaito pauses for just a moment and looks at Toshi.
Kaito Hirano: I was taught that thoughts of worry only hurt in the long run. I will push aside any feelings of worry or doubt and not back down from Mr. Fenryr and his crew. I know that honor always wins out and he has none. He wants people to believe that he is nothing more than a warrior but I can see past that. I see that Mr. Fenryr is a monster. Rune is the mastermind, Fenryr is the beast.
Toshi Yang: And Karli?
Kaito Hirano: A traitor. A trickster. Miss Karli tricked everyone into thinking that she fought with honor but she does not. If I have to go through her to get to Mr. Fenryr then I will. If I have to find people to fight with me I will look to those with honor. People like Miss Sabrina Scott, Miss Xaria Ford, Mr. Jay Blazenwing. If I have to go it alone I will. Honor overcomes all, Miss Toshi. I will get my redemption.
Toshi smiles as the camera fades away and the two continue talking off screen.
The new Chaos Theory Champion Logan Havoc was up next in non-title action against Johnny Maverick. Rayne pointed out the string of tough losses that Maverick has run into lately as the bell sounds. Havoc and Maverick tie up to start things and the Chaos Theory Champ gets the early advantage after he hit a hard headbutt to Maverick. He started to set Maverick up for a piledriver but Maverick flipped him over his back. He turned and landed a kick into the back of Havoc as he sat on the mat. Havoc got to his feet and hit a scoop slam before pulling Maverick right back up. He started to set up for a reverse DDT but Maverick was able to spin his feet and Havoc around and hit a neckbreaker. Maverick pulled Havoc up and drove a knee into his gut. He started to set him up for a northern lights suplex but Havoc was able to push off and looked for the Disaster Stroke (Clothesline From Hell). Maverick jumped up and hit the Tony Jaa (Muay Thai Jumping Knee). Maverick fell to a knee and Havoc staggered up slowly to his feet. Maverick grabbed him and hit the Perfecter Armbar (Butterfly Suplex into Cross Armbar). Maverick had him in the center of the ring and Havoc had no choice but to submit.
WINNER: Johnny Maverick, via submission [8:22]
After the match, Maverick held the armbar in tight as the bell rang and the referee told him he won. He seemed in a zone as Rayne pointed out. He finally came to and rolled away from Havoc and looked down at him as the referee checked on him. Maverick headed up the ramp and seems a bit confused as he heads to the back. The camera cuts to somewhere else in the backstage area for the next segment.

Da Bomb adjusts the green screen behind her, which unbeknownst to her the staff will not be bothering to add some kind of flashy post production interview background to. Don McMichael, meanwhile, does his best to look professional while clearing his throat until she realizes they are rolling. She finally turns around and he begins the interview.
Don McMichael: Ms. Bomb. There have been a lot of questions about your match on Breakthrough last week. What exactly were you trying to...
Da Bomb proceeds to interrupt as usual. Don does his best to not look annoyed at being asked to interview this loon.
Da Bomb: Well, Mongo, my first match on television was one for the ages. Me and Randy Tall tore the house down. Despite giving it my all for the Bombers, I just couldn't get the one-two-three. So, I've decided that I need to take measures to up my game.
Da Bomb allows for a pregnant pause as she turns to face Don and gets uncomfortably close to his face.
Da Bomb: I mean, the LAST thing I want is to go on some kind of huge losing streak.
Once Don looks suitably uncomfortable and begins backing up, she goes back to mugging for the camera.
Da Bomb: So, I've decided I need a manager. Someone with the experience and wisdom to take Da Bomb nuclear! And here he is...
Da Bomb suddenly pulls out a stuffed animal.
Da Bomb: ...DANNY HALL!!!
Da Bomb awkwardly waves the purple stuffed skunk's arm to greet the camera.
Da Bomb: I was thinking. I need to polish my mad skills, so who better to help me then my man right here? He'll help me get better on the mic, get a better connection with the fans, and most importantly, he'll help me win matches.
Da Bomb balances the stuffed skunk on her head.
Da Bomb: I mean, who knows more about winning matches than Danny Hall?
Da Bomb leaves another long awkward pause there and then goes for her ending shtick.
Da Bomb: So, Da Bomb and the one and only Danny Hall here are going to run wild on the Buhwiff. The rest of the roster better watch out!
Da Bomb proceeds to manipulate the stuffed skunk she has now decided is 'the one and only Danny Hall' to flex it's non existent plush muscles as Don McMichael ponders the countless objections and reasonable questions he could broach and then just decides 'fuck it' and walks off, shaking his head.
Frost and Rune were ringside to watch the match as Hullum and Fenryr stood across from each other. The referee held up the Sovereign Title as the match was announced. The bell sounded and we were underway. The two men exchanged lefts and rights to start things off before Fenryr powered Hullum into a corner. He clubbed him with hard clotheslines before pulling him to the center of the ring and taking him down with a powerslam. Fenryr pulled Hullum up with a gutwrench and proceeded to hit a gutwrench powerbomb. Hullum used the ropes to pull himself up and staggered into Fenryr. Fenryr lifted him up with for the 9-9-9 (Gorilla Press Slam) but Hullum was able to struggle and fell to his feet. Fenryr turned and was hit with a knee to the gut. Hullum followed that up with the Crash Landing (Snapmare Driver) and hooked a leg for a cover but only got two. Hullum started to pull Fenryr up but was pushed into the corner. Fenryr charged and hit a big spear to the midsection. He grabbed Hullum and flipped him over his head with a big belly to belly suplex. Fenryr jumped to the second rope and sat on the top rope as Hullum started to stand. Fenryr jumped and hit Hullum with the Maul (Double Axe Handle). He rolled him into a cover but only picked up two.
Fenryr pulled Hullum up and quickly hit him with a snap powerbomb that shook the ring. Fenryr pulled Hullum back up and started to attempt a suplex but Hullum is able to block it. Hullum hit a few elbows to the side of the head of Fenryr and grabbed his arm, spinning him around and dropped Fenryr with a devil-lock DDT. Hullum went to cover but jumped up as the referee was distracted by Rune standing on the apron. Karli Frost slid into the ring and started to stalk Hullum as he was watching Rune. The fans popped as Kaito Hirano ran to the ring and attacked Frost. Frost and Hirano fight through the ropes as Rune jumps off the apron to join the fray. Fenryr got to his feet and reached over the ropes, grabbing Hirano. Hirano dropped and hit a pele kick on Fenryr that wasn’t seen by the referee. Fenryr staggered and was caught by the Kurtain Kall (Hangman’s Neckbreaker). Hirano brawled with Rune and Frost. Hullum fell onto Fenryr and picked up the shocking win.

It was time for our main event as all six competitors were in the ring and the referee forced four of them out. We were set to start with Cooper and Simonova the fans were buzzing as Rayne and Webb reminded everyone how their match ended at Danger Zone. The two ladies started to land vicious chops on each other before Cooper rocked Simonova with a hard elbow to the mouth. Simonova stumbled backwards before charging and hitting a jumping heel kick. Simonova tagged to Park as Cooper rolled backward and tagged to Chaney. Cooper and Simonova rolled out of the ring and charged each other and started to brawl again. They fought up the ramp and into the backstage area. Chaney and Park had started to exchange blows and Chaney quickly gained the upperhand. He popped her up and hit a Samoan drop in the middle of the ring. Chaney rushed off the ropes and hit a jumping senton onto Park. Chaney pulled Park to her feet and hit a hard bionic elbow. Chaney started to look for a powerbomb but Park started to punch him hard on the way up. Park came crashing down on top of Chaney. Park caught Chaney with a running dropkick as he started to stand. Park popped to her feet and waited for Chaney to stand. She springboarded off the ropes and looked for a hurricanrana but Chaney caught her with a hard powerbomb. Chaney fell backwards and made the tag to Biafra. Biafra jumped into the ring and was all over Park with stomps. She got to her feet and tried to fight back with chops. Biafra was hit with a front dropkick that sent him into the ropes. He came back with the Instant Karma (Rebound Lariat) and rocked Park. Park fell backwards and tagged to X as the fans cheered for the new champ. X climbed into the ring and the two men went back and forth. Biafra caught the champion with the Quickiller (Spinning Backfist) that stunned him. He started to set up for the Full Moon Special (Jumping Package Piledriver) but X fought out. He pushed Biafra away and hit a hard clothesline. Biafra staggered to his feet and was grabbed by X. X lifted him and hit a two-handed chokeslam. X climbed back into the ring looking half amused and half annoyed. The referee had the BWF World Championship to hand to X but it was grabbed by Park. She smiled and went to hand it to X but didn’t let go at first. They started to exchange words and moments later Park was cracked with a chairshot to the back from Chaney. The chair was driven into the gut of X before Chaney cracked it over his skull. Chaney held the chair high in one hand and the BWF World Championship in the other. He tossed down the chair as Park and X were downed. Chaney turned around and was taken down by AJ Adams with the Last Call (Codebreaker)! The fans went wild as Adams jumped back to his feet and yelled “Time’s up! It’s last call, Allen”! Adams rolled out of the ring and exited through the sea of fans cheering as the show came to close fading to black, logo, black.

He calls for something and started to pull Biafra up but Park tagged herself in. She quickly jumped into the ring and hit the Seoul Food (Eat Defeat) on Biafra and covered for the win.
WINNERS: Brianna Park, X & Elena Simonova, via pinfall [14:32]
